Charles again attacks Vlaams Belang and salutes Euro-Socialist Islamic appeasers

Charles is at it again. Now he’s happy that the Pro-Islamic European Parliament has stripped Frank Vanhecke, a Belgian member of the European Parliament of parliamentary immunity. Charles claims he’s against fascism, but he seems to favor silencing anyone who disagrees with him.

Vlaams Belang Chairman Stripped of EU Immunity

World | Wed, Nov 19, 2008 at 11:03:07 am PST

Frank Vanhecke, chairman of the extreme right Belgian Vlaams Belang party and member of the European Parliament, has been stripped of his EU immunity, leaving him open to prosecution for “incitement” under Belgian law.

BRUSSELS (JTA) — The European Parliament waived the parliamentary immunity of a far-right member from Belgium.

Frank Vanhecke, a Belgian member of the European Parliament for the far-right Vlaams Belang, was accused of incitement to hatred and xenophobia under Belgian law, but could not be prosecuted unless the European Parliament waived his immunity, which it did in a vote on Tuesday.

In spring 2005, a local edition of a Vlaams Belang newsletter, for which Vanhecke was the responsible publisher, printed an article accusing “foreign cultures” of the desecration of a cemetery. The newsletter said such acts are the result of “a culture which no longer has any respect for the dead and for the symbols of a different faith.” The culprits turned out to be local minors. …

Robin Sclafani, the director of the Brussels-based organization Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe, said “the fact that Vanhecke’s immunity was waived is a clear sign that parliamentarians are not above the law, especially where racism and incitement to hatred are concerned. We hope that this is a signal that the European Union is committed to holding elections that are free from bigotry and racist rhetoric.”

Ironically the Israeli Newspaper Haaretz has a different description of the VB! They are pro-Israel and stand up for Jews in Belgium, where others parties don’t!

Belgian far right leader: I am one of Israel’s staunchest defenders

At Belgium’s request, the European Parliament is expected next month to lift the immunity of one of its members, a former leader of the rightist Vlaams Belang party, exposing him to racism charges. Describing himself as a victim of blatant persecution, Frank Vanhecke told Haaretz the decision could spell his “political death.”

In the interview, Vanhecke countered claims that Vlaams Belang is anti-Semitic, calling them “unjust and untrue,” pointing to his record of cooperation with Antwerp’s Jewish community and standing up for Israel in the European Parliament.

His crime is that in his paper they explain that Muslims are desecrating Christian and Jewish cemetery. This is true, however for the Euro-Socialist this is not acceptable. Therefore they are prosecuting them to silence them! Something Charles approves of!

Al-Qaida No. 2 insults Obama with racial epithet

I wonder what the Leftists will say about the tolerance of Islam now. Obama wants to talk with our enemies. Obviously our enemy don’t want to talk with us. Obama and his Leftist cohorts need to wake up. Will they. Who knows!

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) – Al-Qaida’s No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the president-elect in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites. The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Ayman al-Zawahri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites, that Obama is “the direct opposite of honorable black Americans” like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader.

In al-Qaida’s first response to Obama’s victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect—along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice—”house negroes.”

I thought our enemies would love us by voting for Obama? I guess there’s no change there huh Lefties?

Medaura: Supporter of Al-Qaeda linked Albanian Jihadists

Medaura is someone with clout over at LGF. Charles never bans her even when she crosses the line. Obviously she has some clout. She openly supports the creation of a Greater Albanian Emirate and is openly pro-Jihad. She has attacked Christians and Israelis.

She is responsible for the whole Charles Johnson-Robert Spencer split. Robert Spencer refuted a puff piece by Michael Totten who is your typical naive American that doesn’t understand Islam. Robert Spencer pointed out the fallacy of Albanian saying they are not really Muslims. If they aren’t, they should leave because as long as they are Islamic, there is potential for Jihadists to arise from their ranks. Actually this has happened already.

Here’s an old article at Jihadwatch that began the fight.

She was under the name Popcontest and was bashing Spencer in a related thread at LGF.

This woman is a security threat. She is openly sympathetic with Jihadists. Thsi is another example of Charles Johnson being against certain Jihadists in  like Al-Qaeda but supporting the Euro Jihadists. Charles you are either against the Jihad or for it! Make up your mind Chuckles!

If anyone has more posts or Information on the Albanian Terror supporter Medauara I would appreciate it!

Israel ‘occupies’ no Arab territories

This is a great article over at the Jerusalem Post. I totally agree with this.

Israel ‘occupies’ no Arab territories

Nov. 18, 2008
Louis Rene Beres , THE JERUSALEM POST

In urgent matters of national survival and geopolitics, words matter. The still generally unchallenged language referring provocatively to an Israeli “Occupation” always overlooks the pertinent and incontestable history of the West Bank (Judea/Samaria) and Gaza.

Perhaps the most evident omission concerns the unwitting manner in which these “Territories” fell into Israel’s hands in the first place. It is simply and widely disregarded that “occupation” followed the multi-state Arab aggression of 1967 – one never disguised by Egypt, Syria or Jordan.

A sovereign state of Palestine did not exist before 1967 or 1948. Nor was a state of Palestine ever promised by UN Security Council Resolution 242. Contrary to popular understanding, a state of Palestine has never existed. Never.

Even as a nonstate legal entity, “Palestine” ceased to exist in 1948, when Great Britain relinquished its League of Nations mandate. During the 1948-49 Israeli War of Independence (a war of survival fought because the entire Arab world had rejected the authoritative United Nations resolution creating a Jewish state), the West Bank and Gaza came under the illegal control of Jordan and Egypt respectively. These Arab conquests did not put an end to an already-existing state or to an ongoing trust territory. What these aggressions did accomplish was the effective prevention, sui generis, of a state of Palestine. The original hopes for Palestine were dashed, therefore, not by the new Jewish state or by its supporters, but by the Arab states, especially Jordan and Egypt.

LET US return to an earlier history. From the Biblical Period (ca. 1350 BCE to 586 BCE) to the British Mandate (1918 – 1948), the land named by the Romans after the ancient Philistines was controlled only by non-Palestinian elements. Significantly, however, a continuous chain of Jewish possession of the land was legally recognized after World War I, at the San Remo Peace Conference of April 1920. There, a binding treaty was signed in which Great Britain was given mandatory authority over “Palestine” (the area had been ruled by the Ottoman Turks since 1516) to prepare it to become the “national home for the Jewish People.” Palestine, according to the Treaty, comprised territories encompassing what are now the states of Jordan and Israel, including the West Bank and Gaza. Present-day Israel comprises only 22 percent of Palestine as defined and ratified at the San Remo Peace Conference.
