Billions will Die: The Rick Perry Edition

Charles did a thread today attacking Rick Perry for calling global warming a money making scheme. I then asked a question earlier today at Dairy of Daedalus about whether the Elusive Quixote would make an appearance today.

I wonder if the Elusive Quixote will make an appearance claiming that Billions will die?

Well my question was answered! The very rarely sighted and elusive LudwigVanQuixote showed up. As usual, he claimed that Republicans are evil and will be responsible for the deaths of billions.

So everyone who doesn’t believe in AGW is a religious fanatic! This coming from a man who claims to be Biblical expert on a rabbinical level.

The Elusive one then gets asked where he’s been.

I highly doubt he was in a lab helping with optics. It’s more likely he hasn’t been on LGF because the true master of the blog, failed porn actress Iceweasal, is out to get him banned. The Elusive Quixote returned to the Republican hating thread, knowing he can blend in and not be targeted.

The Jazz Guitarist was clearly influenced by the Elusive Quixote’s presence and goes off on a Billions will die rant!

Charles Johnson made Ludwig proud with his hyperbolic rhetoric! Not to be outdone, the Elusive one goes on a rant of his own!

Charles loves to complain about what he deems the hate coming from the Right. If he wants to find vitriol and bigotry all he has to do is read his own blog.

The Elusive Quixote has not been spotted since that last comment I posted above. He is rarely seen or heard nowadays. He’s on Iceweasal’s hit list, thus making him an endangered species over at LGF. It would be a shame if this voice of humorous insanity is silenced!

Perry answers back Obama: “Mr. President, Actions Speak Loud Than Words”

Rick Perry called Fed chairman Ben Bernanketreasonous for his dollar devaluation policies. This statement resopnates with many Americans who have seen their living standards decline. However, Perry got the GOP Establishment and the Obama regime upset. Karl Rove speaking on behalf of the Bush family attacked him. Obama told him to watch what he says.

Unlike another Ex Texan govenor, it appears that Rick Perry doesn’t turn teh other cheek. He answered Obama back and told him that actions speak louder than words.

In New Hampshire this morning Gov. Rick Perry responded to President Obama’s suggestion that he “be more careful” about what he says.

“Yesterday, the President said I needed to watch what I say. I just want to respond back, if I may. Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as Governor are helping create jobs in this country. The President’s actions are killing jobs,” GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry said at a breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Bachmann drove Tim Pawlnety out of the race. Perry hits back at Obama and doesn’t apologize for his remarks on Ben Barnanke. It’s about the GOP had fighters!

Karl Rove tells Perry to lay off Bush

The Bush Mafia and Rick Perry have no love loss. Perry split from the Bush family back in 98, when he decided to go negative and win his election. Last year, the Bush family recruited Kay Bailey Hutchinson to run again Perry for governor. He defeated her and won re-election. Now Rick Perry is pointing out to people he’s no George W. Bush. He’s a fiscal and economic conservative. This has gotten Bush lackey, Karl Rove upset.

Karl Rove made it clear today that he’s none too happy about the way Rick Perry is treating his former boss, George W. Bush. Perry is aggressively distancing himself from Bush. Some tea party types Perry is seeking to woo think that Bush was a big spender. Perry’s making it clear he’s a different guy.

Rove was clearly steamed on Fox News this morning. He suggested Perry wouldn’t be where he is today if it weren’t for Bush: “Why he falls into this pattern of sounding like he’s being dismissive of the former president is not smart politics, either strategically or tactically.”

What Karl Rove needs to realize is that outside of band of hardcore loyalists, Bush is not a popular figure in politics. By making his differences with Bush known, Rick Perry is showing voters he’s not A Bush clone. Karl Rove needs to realize the era of Compassionate Conservatism is over. Economic and Fiscal Conservatism is what Republicans are looking for.

Rick Perry jumped to a double digit lead over Mitt Romney in today’s Rasmussen GOP Primary Poll.  The new numbers are Perry – 29%, Romney – 18% and Bachmann – 13%. All others closed below 10%. I had optimistically calculated that it would take a week for Perry to take the lead.

Texas Governor Rick Perry, the new face in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, has jumped to a double-digit lead over Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann with the other announced candidates trailing even further behind.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters, taken Monday night, finds Perry with 29% support. Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who ran unsuccessfully for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008, earns 18% of the vote, while Bachmann, the Minnesota congresswoman who won the high-profile Ames Straw Poll in Iowa on Saturday, picks up 13%.
