Lech Walesa in Chicago Stumping for Tea Party Candidate Adam Andrzejewski – Media Ignores

If you’ve been watching Chicago TV lately you’ll probably not know that:

Last week, Nobel Laureate, Presidential Medal of Freedom winner, and former president of Poland, Lech Walesa, traveled to Chicago to endorse a political candidate for governor of Illinois.

Leaving politics aside for a minute, you’d think that this is a story. Chicago has the largest Polish community in the US, and it seems like every other person there’s last name ends in “-ski”. Including the Republican candidate for Illinois governor, Adam Andrzejewski. And I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions, but I suspect that that “Republican” tag, along with Andrzejewski’s connection with the Tea Party movement just might have something to do with Walesa’s non-person status in Chicago.
