An Open Letter to Robert Spencer and Pam Geller

There is a bit of a dilemma on our hands. Seems that Ace of Spades wrote a column here regarding Pam Geller and like clockwork, Pam went apeshit and wrote a long screed damning Ace. You can find it here…

It gets better. Robert Spencer over at Jihad Watch jumps into the fire with both feet trashing Ace for having the gall to comment on Pam and it goes on and on. You can find that here…

I have a few things to say about all of this, so bear with me. I have been in this blogwar for many many years, actually ten years now and most people I know know that I am not one to mince words, or get along to get along. The biggest problem I have (if you want to call it a problem) is that I will never sit around worrying what the hell people think of me. That is not, nor has it ever been an issue with me. I am who I am and I am going to tell people what I think and damn the consequences to me. Period, end of story, end of discussion. What you see in me is what you get. If you like that, fine, if not, no skin off my nose. I will tell you what I think, what I believe in, what I like and dislike, and what I feel is necessary to take care of issues and problems. By the way, I don’t say anything with the thought of kissing ass and making people wonder if I have some type of hidden agenda. That is definitely not who I am and that is not something that drives me. No way in hell.

In any case, this is what I think of this whole situation. It’s all a bunch of crap. Like a bunch of apes in a cage slinging shit at each other to see what sticks. One-upmanship at its finest. Looks like it’s time for me to set things straight in my own way and see if I can be a force for good or just another blogger screaming in the middle of the desert.

Robert, I have admired you greatly for a very long time, a VERY long time. You are a font of information that is without parallel or peer. Pam, you are and can be a real charmer that brings a lot of information forward also. Listen to me, both of you. I have had a lot of respect for your passion and your drive and your wisdom, but both of you are sinking to the bottom of the Marianas Trench and fast with your insane tendency to squash dissent of your point of view.

Tag teaming against Ace for expressing his opinion is ridiculous on its face and is beneath both of you. And Robert, your language in your latest essay leave me with a headache and a bitter taste in my mouth.

Ace of Spades is one of those juvenile, leering fratboy blogs that has never appealed to me

But Ace is wildly overstating his case when he says, in his typical half-witted beer swiller’s lingo

But I am not asking these questions of Ace, who is demonstrably dishonest.

Ace concludes: “This is anti-Jihadism quickly shading into anti-Americanism.” So now it’s “anti-American” to be skeptical about Rick Perry because he is too close to the Aga Khan and Grover Norquist? “Anti-American” to want to vet a candidate and not want the next president to have potentially compromising ties? Have another beer, Ace. Stick to what you’re good at.

Come on Robert! I though you were better than that. For fucks sakes, listen to what you are saying. Scholars don’t talk like this or shouldn’t. And I have had about enough of both of you going after THIS site for publishing a post about Rick Perry right here…

For anyone reading this post of mine who wants to know more why you had a hissy fit and delinked us from Jihad Watch, just go right here and read all about it…

Look you two, at this point in the grand game, Rick Perry is the best choice to defeat Barack Obama in the 2012 election. I would rather have a Presidential candidate that actually worked with a Muslim who is despised by the Muslim world and is a candidate for having his head chopped off in Chop Chop Square in Riyadh rather than this anti-Semitic Marxist sitting in the Oval Office doing every damn thing you can think of in enabling the march of the Grand Caliphate. All this sniping at a guy that expressed his own opinion is stupid and counterproductive and plays right in the hands of Barack Obama’s campaign staff.

I doubt very seriously that you guys will listen to me and I will not be surprised if you publish something at Atlas Shrugs and Jihad Watch calling me a pro-Sharia type. Well, go ahead if you dare. Makes no difference to me, but remember this. If Barack Obama wins reelection due to your efforts on tearing down Rick Perry, I lay that right at your feet. That will be the end result of your purity test.

The ball is in your court, guys. Make the most of what I have had to say.
