FBI/PPD Violent Crime Task Force Search for Serial Bank Robbery Suspects

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for the bank robbery at the Sovereign Bank located at 8310 Stenton Avenue.
On March 20, 2012 at 12:23pm, two suspects entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, subjects fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
These suspects are wanted for a series of bank robberies at the following banks from December 23, 2011 and April 4, 2012.
•Suspect Description:
2 black males, thin build, approximately 5’10” tall, with Black Muslim-like clothing covering their heads and bodies.•If you see these males do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
•To submit a tip via telephone, dial 215.686.TIPS (8477).
•Tipsters can remain anonymous and there may be a reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of this suspect.
