Eagles – to answer your question about mental health practitioner’s notes.

Part of her claim is that the incident created mental health issues for her. Once you have made this an element of your claim, you do not get to put the genie back in the bottle. Your therapist’s notes can most certainly be subpoenaed and even the deposition of your treating therapist can be taken. I’ve seen it happen a few times myself. People love to throw “intentional infliction of emotional distress” as a cause of action into a complaint, not realizing this is a “prove up” allegation. Then are surprised when we ask for the name of their treating mental health professional. Nine out of ten times they don’t have one. The tenth one then panics when we subpoena the doctor’s notes.

The fact that the therapist even gave her those notes is a mystery to me. The notes do not name Kavanaugh specifically and they relate a different incident than the one she describes. Then she says “oh the therapist wrote it down wrong.” Oh? Why introduce faulty therapy notes then?

And of course, she now changed the story yet again….now there was a girl present. But still can’t remember when or where. Or, apparently the names of anyone else other than Kavanaugh and Judge. Who both deny ever meeting her.

I think she will NOT show up on Monday and I think DiFi will declare that she advised her that she shouldn’t. Sure I can shout to the rooftops that I want to testify – makes for a good press bite and makes me seem really sincere in my allegations, especially if I’ve been assured that I’ll never have to by Senator Smear Merchant.

Someone at State is going to have a very, VERY bad day today:

James got this guy admitting on camera that the promotoes Democrat Socialism on the taxpayer dime, using taxpayer resources, and works overtime to “f**k *s**t up on Trump during business hours.

He interned with Dick Durbin. That explains so much. if I were him, I’d be packing my desk while waiting for my call from H.R.

THAT is what I wanted to know. THANK YOU.

The Ford woman is as dumb as a box of rocks. She works as a biostatistician and has a degree in psych, she knows the ethics of the profession and she totally fucked this up. If I were on the Judiciary committee, I’d have that subpoena out the door yesterday morning. “Pack a bag, Federal Marshals will help you to the airport, thru TSA and onto the plane, to your seat.”

The fact that the therapist even gave her those notes is a mystery to me.

A psychologist/neuro guy called into Chris Plante’s show yesterday morning. He said technically the notes belong to Ford, but any therapist is going to balk at turning them over because of the potential damage to the relationship (when the shrink writes “this guy is a total asshole”, I’m guessing). He was gobsmacked that she had them.

I think she will NOT show up on Monday

DiFi would panic. Hell, SHE’D send marshals to haul her ass in.

Most operators in the Deep State — a loosely connected group of holdovers from the Obama administration, Republican appointees who disagree with Trump’s agenda, as well as several of the 2.8 million career government employees working throughout the federal bureaucracy — have operated with near impunity, facing no consequences for their actions.

As am I. I had to check with a lawyer friend to see if it was even possible. Back in college, one of my dorm-mates told my academic counselor that he believed I was Anorexic, which resulted in my being required to undergo psychiatric counseling for 2 years. I asked on several occasions to see my psychologists notes on me, and was repeatedly denied. Consequently I was under the impression that allowing a patient to see said notes was a HIPAA violation.

If she doesn’t want to travel, then do a hookup in Palo Alto, have a notary administer the oath, and question away.

I believe she was told “tell them you want to TESTIFY! It’ll look good.” Dems never believed Grassley would reopen the hearing based on the flimsy evidence this woman had – that way they could say he was “suppressing her testimony. Except Grassley basically called her bluff. Now the Dems are scrambling and demanding an “investigation.” This is backfiring because DiFi held that letter for six weeks and never asked Kavanaugh about it. And investigate what? There are NO details other than “well, it happened.” And she’s changed her story several times. She can’t remember anything about that day except that it was Kavanaugh and Judge in the room. First there were four. Then two. Then a girl was present – can’t name any of them.

No, they’re not scrambling, this is what they wanted. Their goal is to delay until after the midterms, in the expectation that they will gain seats and scuttle any and all SCOTUS nominees Trump sends up

I believe there is a way McConnell can bushwack them going forward. I don’t think he HAS to have hearings, he can send it straight to the floor for an up or down vote.

No evidence is cited for this but I hope it’s true.

Why were McCabe and Strzok allowed to stay at the FBI for so long?

Because Wray/Huber was running a sting op against them and are now working with a grand jury that has moved into the witness phase

Two of the supposed brightest minds who served the FBI — and led the country’s Intel apparatus — each separately set out to allegedly destroy incriminating evidence before their departures from the Bureau. And neither one had any clue they were being watched.

But FBI Director Christopher Wray had suspected as much and — working with personnel from the Inspector General’s office — set up a sting-like operation to prevent against evidence destruction, both documents and electronic, two FBI sources confirm.

Though at differing times, McCabe and Strzok were under 24-hour surveillance both at the office and outside FBI HQ in Washington D.C. And any documents, files, and databases that were deleted or manipulated by McCabe and Strzok were being recorded and documented by federal agents. The original records were restored after the duo vacated the FBI.

“They had no clue they were being watched,” one FBI source said.

Instead of all the nasty mean, white male senators questioning her, they will appoint committee counsel to do any and all questioning. In many ways that’s the way it used to work. After a unsupported report surfaced that Blasey had also sent a nearly identical letter during the Gorsuch hearings, word I am now hearing is that Feinstein is now back-peddling by asserting that she does not know if Blasey’s accusations are truthful or not.

Looks like Feinstein got caught with her knickers down knowingly and willfully with a full forethought of malice engaging in slander/libel and character assignation in an attempt to forestall a Supreme Court Justice’s conformation hearing.

According to Maryland state law Rape accusations, whether felony or misdemeanor must be filed in Maryland within 300 days of the incident or they are not investigated or prosecuted. Felony Rape has no statute of limitations while misdemeanor rape has a 1 year statute of limitations.

Christine Blasey-Ford missed the maximum filing date by over 12,421 days. There is nothing Maryland can legally investigate, which is why the FBI refused to investigate it as well. There is literally from a legal standpoint, no “There there”.

That’s a yes and no. The president does have a certain limited ability to request that the FBI investigate certain things. But overall, yes I would tend to believe that this is outside of his authority to order an investigation of since the crime, if there even was a crime as described by Christine Blasey-Ford is a misdemeanor and well past Marylands maximum 300 day required reporting statute.

Congress has no authority to “ORDER” any of the intelligence agencies to withhold or refuse to declassify documents that the POTUS orders released or declassified. To issue such an order is to subvert the Constitutional Authority of the POTUS, in effect, it is to solicit 18 US Code 2384 Sedition and 18 US Code 2385 Attempting to overthrow the Government of the United States.

Think of it like this. If you hand a bank teller a note demanding money claiming that “This is a bank robbery” you will be charged with attempted bank robbery whether the teller hands over any money or not. Its the same thing.

I don’t know if anyone has an answer to this: Do sociopaths have a better chance of successfully deceiving a lie detector test than ‘normal’ people?

The reason I ask is that sociopaths gravitate to professions that confer authority, e.g., therapists, clergy, law enforcement, etc. She’s got a Ph.D is some psych major and counsels therapists, so she if she is on that spectrum, it might be worth noting. I’d imagine she scores off the charts on the narcissism scale, too.

Trained psychologists know how to beat a polygraph because they understand they physiological changes that are being measured. I remember my prof at Cal, “Dr. Greg” telling us that if you want to beat a polygraph, put a tack in your shoe and press on it whenever you’re telling the truth. It will produce the same subtle changes that may occur when you’re lying.

Also, there is no such thing as “passing” a polygraph. All a polygraph can measure is the possibility of deception when giving an answer. This whole business of she “passed” a polygraph is subjective. We don’t know the questions the examiner asked her. He might have asked “were you ever at a party where you were alone with two boys in a room”? Answers “yes” – no deception. Did he ask if it was Brett Kavanaugh? Bet he didn’t.

There are cases where a polygraph is useful. Mark Klass immediately agreed to one when his daughter Polly was kidnapped because law enforcement used it as a tool to subjectively “clear” him and keep them from pursuing him as a suspect and wasting time and resources.

It’s easy to submit to a polygraph when you are in essence in charge of the questioning and are the client. The examiner knows the result you want.

    Did not see this coming:

Child pornography reason behind Sunspot Observatory closure, according to court documents

A federal search warrant reveals that Sunspot Solar Observatory was shut down as FBI agents conducted computer forensic searches for child pornography.

The source of child pornography was traced to an IP address used at the observatory and a source within the building observed a computer with “not good” images on it, the warrant states.

An investigation by the FBI revealed that a janitor is the main suspect in the search, however he has not been charged with a crime even though his name in on the warrant.

The warrant states the suspect would use the observatory Wifi and a personal laptop to download the child pornography.

A limited number of people have access to the observatory from dusk until dawn, which helped narrow their search.

The observatory in the mountains of southern New Mexico had been closed since Sept. 6 because of an undisclosed security concern, but reopened on Monday.

True. I would think if you are required to take one due to being a suspect in a criminal investigation, the conditions and questioning would have different outcomes. Although I actually do not put much faith in the results as a means for evidence.

When I was going thru boot camp a few of us got sent on a detail for a day to be subjects for FBI recruits administering polygraph tests. The agent-in-training made me take it 3 times at which point some FBI trainer enterd the room unannounced, looked at the results and asked me, “you don’t take this seriously, do you?” No. I didn’t. I was released back to my unit immmediatly. My father was subjected to polygraphs due to his line of work and his results were deemed inadmissible, so they stopped asking him to take them.

I called my buddy Nathan, former Public Defender for the County of San Francisco and wanted to chat about polygraphs. He said they are only really useful in elimination of potential suspects. And no, you don’t “pass” a polygraph. You are not declared “truthful.”

I’d be very curious if the FBI came forward and said “well, tell you what. We’ll be happy to administer polygraphs here at Quantico to both Judge Kavanaugh and Professor Ford.” $50 says Kavanaugh says he’d be willing to submit and Ford says “I already took one so I’m not taking another.”

Oh and I do love that money laundering scheme called a GoFundMe page to get payoff money for Ford, citing “security threats” – oh please, it’s a fluff and fold – show us the receipts of the security firm when you pay them. Better yet, please show us the LEO reports of these death threats.
