so I wonder how he did himself in

    poison?
    swallow his tongue?
oh I know, he bashed his head against the wall 30 or 40 times until his skull caved in.

perhaps he just lost the will to live and just withered away

AG Barr doesn’t trust the FBI either.

Attorney General William P. Barr issued the following statement:

“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.”

    https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/statement-attorney-general-william-p-barr-death-jeffrey-epstein

Notice he didn’t say the investigation would ever be completed, just that it was opened.

From Armstrong who was thrown into jail for several years without ever being charged. (Some alphabet agencies wanted the remarkable computer program he had invented. Nothing Clinton related afaik.)
    From his free blog today:

“The story of suicide is really not believable. If he was suicidal he would have been on suicide watch and everything would have been removed to ensure he could not commit suicide. This is simply the way the government ensures high profiles never go to trial.

In my case, they used another inmate because a suicide story wouldn’t work. Everyone’s doors were locked except mine and my attacker and the officer on duty I never saw before or after. I was in a coma for several days and when my attacker came out he was bragging he killed me with my blood on his hands. To their dismay, I survived. My lawyers warned me about the different ways they might try to kill me.”

That whole NY Post article is amusing in the sense of seeing how the media tie themselves in knots trying to report this in a PC fashion. It starts out talking about her as the shooter’s sister, but then transforms to referring to her as “him” and “he” when they reveal that she was posing as a male.

Marketing movies is likely wildly expensive. If it’s not an action hero movie it’s even harder to get an audience. When you can stream entertainment on your phone or TV/computer who wants to pay for a family outing to the movies and multiply the expense? Sure it’s more fun to go, but not cheap.

somethings struck me ass odd in the pick of epstein being wheeled into the hospital. he is on the EMS gurney, they are bagging him and doing compressions to the chest.

1: i do not see a lucas device being used. this is standard procedure in big cities (and small) for EMS so that they dont have to do compressions. one medic can bag while the other takes med orders from med command at the gaining hospital. https://nypost.com/2019/08/10/photos-show-jeffrey-epstein-as-hes-wheeled-into-downtown-hospital/

2 no lucas device…so compressions have to be done by hand. there is no way that that medic is delivering good compressions at that angle.

    3. manhattan doesn’t have lucas devices???? puleeeze. the third guy in the photo is a jail guard, in that green bag are the hand and leg irons.

    4. look at his hands/arms. they are retracted. i’ve done at least 100 cardiac arrests in the ED and NEVER are the upper limbs in that position. so, why does a dead man have ‘muscle tone’? his fingers are retracted. peripheral muscle at the hands are the first to retract in rigor mortis…3-4 hours after death.

    5. he is blue in the face but not in the hands or abdomen. the extremities turn blue from the distal fingers/toes as does the face, and then up the arms rather quickly after death. mottling also starts in the lower abdomen. this is a recent death with hand muscle retraction?

    6. rigor mortis occurs AFTER the distal muscles are denied oxygen. they turn blue quickly, then 3-4 hours later are the retractions. his fingers are retracted and not blue…yet he’s dead? poisoning….

    7. i see what is probably a zoll monitor device in this photo, maybe. its in the orange bag with the wires going to it…but its covered by blanket, i do see the pad wire hooked up. one can monitor basic rhythms through the two pads with it. the screen faces the medics at all times and is clearly visible when arriving at the gaining hospital for obvious reasons, why is it covered and not facing the medics? https://mfimedical.com/products/zoll-r-series-als-defibrillator-with-expansion-pack?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=oll-r-series-als-defibrillator-with-expansion-pack&msclkid=92121101d13b1e7d1ade4c4e6f48865b&utm_campaign=CPC%20Strategy%20-%20Bing%20Shopping&utm_content=All%20Products if this is the model.

    8. the ET tube doesn’t look like its in far enough.

    9. he is wearing a c-collar…his ear-lobe is retracted indicating eminent or recent death. (ask any ICU nurse)

    10. i am not suicidal.

    Greetings from “Days Off.”

Found this over at Ace’s and thought it was interesting:

    Fighting Back Considered Harmful:

I’m reading Mollie Hemingway’s Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court (which, incidentally, puts me one up on Jonah Goldberg) and I thought this passage worth a comment:

Conservatives had been blindsided by the well-financed and well-organized political campaign against Robert Bork’s nomination in 1987…People for the American Way (PFAW) had dropped a hundred thousand dollars for cable TV spots, far more than the entire budget of the pro-Bork Coalitions for America. While PFAW was buying thirty-thousand-dollar full-page ads in the New York Times, Concerned Women for America could afford only two ads in small newspapers at about four hundred dollars apiece. The heavily outgunned pro-Bork forces were limited to grassroots work, on the cheap, their leaders licking their own envelopes for mass mailings. The liberals, by contrast, were able to carpet-bomb the political battlefield through the major media.

The one-sidedness of the fight was the result, in part, of a deliberate decision of the Reagan administration not to engage on the same terms. After Gregory Peck took to the airwaves to defame Judge Bork, both Clint Eastwood and Charlton Heston offered to appear in a counter-ad. The White House turned them down. Bork’s many former clerks working in the Department of Justice, lawyers who knew his record better than anybody, were explicitly forbidden to defend him publicly. Such advocacy was considered unseemly.

“Considered unseemly.” I’m old enough to remember to remember the Bork fight. I remember Teddy Kennedy’s “In Robert Bork’s America…” speech wherein he lied his ass off so much that it achieved escape velocity. I remember the attack ad with Gregory Peck. But I didn’t know that last part, where the GOP refused to run celebrity ads of their own. But given the context of the times, I can actually understand this. It *was* unseemly. But they didn’t realize that the Democrats were willing to do anything, say anything, and break any rule, in order to stop the nomination. Republicans were naive, and were caught off guard. But Hemingway goes on to say that by the time the elder Bush nominated Clarence Thomas, the naivete was gone, and they were ready for the fight.

I’ve heard media talking heads bemoan the “politicization” of the SCOTUS nomination process, and how it’s all a “circus” or a “zoo”, etc. Well, let the record show that the Bork nomination was where the confirmation process was corrupted, and it was the Democrats who corrupted it. And it infuriates me that the “Well I Never” Republicans believe that we should still be, somehow, playing under the pre-Bork rules.

There had to be the requisite drama that showed that he was dead to keep the doubters happy. Now whether he was in fact dead of DEAD is a whole different hill of beans.

In New Guinean Pigeon English there are two words for dead…

Em e fella ded ( unconscious)

Life is. Many changes. Lots of observations. Reinforcement of reclusivness.

    @ yenta-fada:

Justin from Canada has acquiesced to the influence of democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and agreed to postpone any USMCA ratification vote in Parliament until Pelosi gives Justin her approval. For political purposes, Speaker Pelosi is attempting to stall the USMCA vote in congress, which directly supports China, as long as possible.

Recall that the Epstein indictment references three female employees who helped him recruit and abuse minors.

We suspect this refers to Ghislaine Maxwell, Sarah Kellen, and Nada Marcinkova.

Sounds like three more suicides might be just around the corner.

I don’t expect it, but I would love to find out six months from now that Jeffrey Epstein had committed protective suicide and was testifying as to all the people who had visited pedo Island.

Good morning. Have you noticed that none of the Democrats seem curious about the Epstein untimely deaths?

good morning. In 14 days – or 13, given when this was posted – I am leaving the planet

I also want to say I am 14 days away from the anniversary of my dads death and petrified of what the day is going to feel like. I made a conscious choice to share my grief journey publicly so others would feel less alone – and would do it all over again

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Another reason for possible job losses is the Carbon Tax that was first imposed in April. Hopefully these losses will mean a Liberal drumming in the October election.

National Review has an article up attacking Trump for the movie The Hunt being cancelled. Apparently they decided it was a pro-Trump movie and he’s an idiot for opposing it or something. Is it just me or are they becoming less and less coherent?

I understand that the killers in the movie are the bad guys but it’s blatantly obvious to anyone with two brain cells that this movie is designed to provoke more violence by the left against people who disagree with them.

Yeah, that’s pretty cool. Area denial for lack of precision, but it might be fun for prairie dog towns if you can get enough range out of it.

/Price doesn’t seem that bad really. However, you are going to hit that cost in ammunition pretty quick
