18 years after 9/11…We have spent Trillions, are less free than we were on 9/10/2001, and are still stuck in forever-war. Islam/Sharia has been elected to our offices and is loud and proud. I would say that the terror that is Islam has won. Or has it? The Middle East is more or less under our control. We say jump, they do it. Daesh has been obliterated. Yes, there is war on Islam’s borders, as there has always been throughout history. Iran is a major sponsor of terror and is a thorn…as it has been since 1979, but their power and influence has been reduced. None of the other Middle East states regard us as the enemy anymore. They saw the destruction and don’t want to test the ‘strong horse’ Trump. None of the neighboring states of Israel want a war with them.

Are we at detente / containment as we were with the Soviets in the 70’s? Is it even correct to apply the old bi-polar strategies and definitions to this struggle? I think it is. Islam is nothing more than a political system pretending to be a religion. Communism was a political system that strived to be a religion. Both are and were anathema to Western Civilization.

The pinnacle of 2527 years of the development of Western Civilization is The United States of America. The other Western Democracies, as in the Cold War, are along for the ride. The pure power and might of the US is unparalleled in human history. The Roman Legions and the British Navy of old were indeed the ultimate ‘global’ powers in their times and historical spaces. America’s global reach and economic power has no equal even when adjusted for history, hence, it is the main target. Everyone wants a shot at the Champ. Rome was taken down as the world grew up around it. The British Empire was replaced by America. For the past 75 years, The US has been the de facto driver of the world. Mistakes were and will be made on the way.

As a student of Economics and History, I look at the Chinese ‘threat’ as almost a joke. WE taught them just enough about economics for them to hang themselves. Central Banking is War by other means. Are we perfect economically? Nope. However, the Chinese are in very, very big trouble. Export led economic development has always led to ruin every time its tried because you do not have control of the markets that are exported to. A powerful middle-class who drives consumer spending is the ONLY path to a healthy and growing economy. This has to backed by manufacturing where raw materials are taken out of the ground and made into end-use products. This is where real and sustained economic growth occurs. We are back on that path. The Chinese are losing markets, running out of water, and can’t produce enough food and must import. Lower the value of your currency to prop up exports, your food bill goes up and service on your debt increases. The human body needs oxygen, water, and food at a base level. Potable water is the cornerstone of all development, calories come next.

I suppose that I am fairly optimistic about the foreseeable future.

    AND

THis is fun. Look, I read this whole thing and had to apply some math that I haven’t used since grad/PhD level stats…Their summary is devastating.

This analysis has shown that the air temperature projections of advanced climate models are just linear extrapolations of fractional GHG forcing. Linear propagation of model error follows directly from GCM linear extrapolation of forcing. The ±4 Wm–2 year–1 annual average LWCF thermal flux error means that the physical theory within climate models incorrectly partitions energy among the internal sub-states of the terrestrial climate. Specifically, GCMs do not capture the physical behavior of terrestrial clouds or, more widely, of the hydrological cycle (Stevens and Bony, 2013). As noted above, a GCM simulation can be in perfect external energy balance at the TOA while still expressing an incorrect internal climate energy-state.

The further meaning of uncertainty in projected air temperature is extensively discussed in Section 10.1 of the Supporting Information, “Why confidence intervals do not imply model oscillation.” Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of the Supporting Information provide an extended discussion of the meaning of confidence intervals, uncertainty, and propagated error.

Although other approaches to uncertainty in projections and simulations of climate futures have been carried out, most notably perhaps using Bayesian statistics (Tebaldi et al., 2005; Buser et al., 2009; Urban and Keller, 2010; Zanchettin et al., 2017), none of them propagate calibration error through model simulation steps into the projected future climate-state. In these studies, the impact of the continued evolution of simulation error on the uncertainty within the final projected climate state remains unevaluated.

It is now appropriate to return to Smith’s standard description of physical meaning, which is that, “even in high school physics, we learn that an answer without “error bars” is no answer at all” (Smith, 2002). LWCF calibration error is ±114 × larger than the annual average increase in GHG forcing. This fact alone makes any possible global effect of anthropogenic CO2 emissions invisible to present climate models.

At the current level of theory an AGW signal, if any, will never emerge from climate noise no matter how long the observational record because the uncertainty width will necessarily increase much faster than any projected trend in air temperature. Any impact from GHGs will always be lost within the uncertainty interval. Even advanced climate models exhibit poor energy resolution and very large projection uncertainties.

The unavoidable conclusion is that a temperature signal from anthropogenic CO2 emissions (if any) cannot have been, nor presently can be, evidenced in climate observables.

Man Made global warming will not get beyond the noise of the data. devastating. This is a single stroke destruction of the data and the models. I have a MS in Econ and Applied Statistics, this is the single most devastating Summary that I have ever read. As geeky as it sounds, I had chills when I read it.

Bayesian statistics is a theory in the field of statistics based on the Bayesian interpretation of probability where probability expresses a degree of belief in an event. The degree of belief may be based on prior knowledge about the event, such as the results of previous experiments, or on personal beliefs about the event. This differs from a number of other interpretations of probability, such as the frequentist interpretation that views probability as the limit of the relative frequency of an event after many trials.

    “The Science is Settled…”

By citing Bayesian statistical theory the writers basically gut-punched, spat on, and then assassinated man-made global warming. Then cooked some steaks on a charcoal fire. This was on purpose and is a total dismal by KO. If this summary were applied to your MS/PhD defense you would be taken out back and shot, after a good stoning and drawn and quartering. Your advisor would be skinned alive.

Howz that for a far ranging open? 🙂

“Islam is nothing more than a political system pretending to be a religion. Communism was a political system that strived to be a religion. Both are and were anathema to Western Civilization.”

Dead on. Hence the political coupling of them both here and abroad. The mean to rule by using each other and at odds at the same time.

I was in a board room with a retired Chinese General last year as his corperation was interested in our products, but wanted us to break ground in China. Fat chance. He was just a figurehead, but the 3 guys with him were trying to intice us to invest. We expanded our lines in Korea to facilitate them instead. The Board did have a laugh when their suggestion was brought up in the minutes though.

The Euro governments are pushing for big taxes for “Climate Change” and I think it is coming down the pike as they are already telling the serfs via media outlets that “we must endure with less for the future” schtick. It’s all about the money and power and using the climate fabrciation as a pretense. I shouldn’t be amazed how many people believe the big lie, but I am.

Anyone who’s read my blog knows I’m not a fan of Islam.

For those who’re victims of the public schools with the mainstream media, a group of Muslims managed to hijack four commercial airliners and crashed three of them into each of the main towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. We’ve yet to properly respond to this atrocity. By a proper response I mean that we should’ve erased the abomination commonly known as the Kaaba from the face of the Earth with a high yield thermonuclear weapon. And in doing so we would’ve demonstrated that the deity known as Allah was without question a false god and the doctrine known as Islam was an absolute load of nonsense.

Of course there will be those who would’ve point a finger at me and scream that I’m expressing hatred. So what?

If we would hang a traitor once in a while (pour encourager l’outres) they wouldn’t be so annoying.

A lie is a lie regardless of how many people choose to believe it or are compelled to believe it. But the truth is the truth, learn to live with it.

The doctrine of Islam forbids rational thought. But how one deals with another person determines how that person responds. When the Muslim renounces responsibility for their own thoughts and actions they can no longer be rationally identified as being human. And we who remain rational humans can no longer identify and deal with a Muslim as a proper person who’s responsible for their own life and actions. We can only see them as toxic organisms to be removed as a hazard to our lives. And worse the indoctrination of children in the doctrine of Islam condemns them to extinction as well.

The rational people of Earth are left with no alternative but to kill them all. On the day of the extinction of Islam I’ll feel no guilt about it, and neither should anyone else.

Islam, like all other anti-human (you know, EVIL) ideologies, can only be opposed through the education of the general population of its actual doctrines and effects, and through the consistent exercise of retaliatory force upon those Muslims who cross the line into violence. When we do this (and we have to) the problem of Koran disposal will take care of itself.

They are quantifying what I have stated qualitatively for years — that the complexity of atmospheric interactions is such that one cannot “settle” a model when one cannot control enough variables to accurately project the effects of a single variable on such a multi-variate mechanism.

Islam is still out of control in the world. Thank Frau Merkel (and cohorts) for the massive increase of the Barbarian invasion that was already established in Europe and Great Britain. I blame the usual suspects and their well bribed enablers.

Cold warrior speaks the facts. Even with the Deep State traitors, the treacherous media, the commie education system from kindergarten through Universities, and the social media giants, TRUMP won the election. There is a heart and soul of America that has remained undefeated. So many, especially on the intolerant left, have given in to decadence, entitlement, and the blame America first mentality.
The people who respect the honor and sacrifice of previous generations
are older, but they have made their children and grandchi8ldren into decent human beings who can tell right from wrong.

The innovation, work ethic, and curiosity about the world need freedom to flourish. Something the Chinese cannot understand because it threatens their need for absolute control. Under Trump’s leadership the formerly voiceless have found a champion. He’s accomplished so much and there is still a long way to travel. Trump in 2020. There’s no candidate on the left who is not a pig at the trough.

OK. I didn’t read that second part of the intro.

The West (global elite scam) prefers ignorant, primitive, uneducated muzz who run around wildly destroying civilized societies while living as parasites in their ‘host’ countries.

This speaker at Ground Zero. gives a shout out to Iliana Omar “some people did something.”

According to the NY Times, even that’s incorrect. It was the airplanes:

NY Times Reports ‘Airplanes Took Aim’ At The World Trade Center On 9/11

The New York Times deleted a tweet and updated a piece Wednesday after writing that the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred when “airplanes took aim” at the World Trade Center.

“18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center,” the Times Twitter account tweeted. “Today, families will once again gather and grieve at the site where more than 2000 people died.” The language about the airplanes “taking aim” was lifted from the linked Times piece.

The Times’s assignment of agency to inanimate planes, and apparent reluctance to acknowledge that they were flown by Islamic terrorists, immediately sparked mockery and criticism.

They were all INSIDE the courthouse as far as I remember. The pedophiles were offended. I think offending muzz pedophiles had something to do with the second as well. Yes, it was presented to me as a raise. WE received an across the board raise. EVERYONE was brought to 14.29. So, those of us in the 10 year club were brought DOWN to 14.29 to be fair to the new people. FML. Luckily it’s only 18 buck every two weeks but it still sucks.

Andrew Yang’s Big Surprise At Debate May Just Be Illegal…

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang plans to announce at the debate in Houston tonight that his campaign will give 10 additional families $1,000 per month for a year, according to prepared remarks provided to TIME.

But the gifts, which are meant to highlight the cornerstone campaign proposal Yang has dubbed the Freedom Dividend, may be a violation of federal election law, some experts say.

“It’s time to stop trusting politicians and start trusting ourselves – so I’m going to do something unprecedented tonight,” Yang’s prepared remarks say. “My campaign is now going to give a Freedom Dividend of $1,000 a month to 10 American families for an entire year, someone watching this at home right now.”

The gift money is meant to highlight Yang’s plan for the federal government to give people $1,000 per month month. A campaign aide said the recipients will be randomly selected.

Since New Year’s Eve, Yang has been giving monthly checks of $1000 to a New Hampshire family month out of his own pocket. He’s since selected recipients in Iowa and Florida. Now he plans to disburse the money from campaign funds, a move experts say may violate federal election law.

“Handing out money to individuals for their own personal use would seem to be a violation of campaign-finance law,” says Erin Chlopak, director of campaign finance strategy at the Campaign Legal Center and a former FEC attorney. “It’s hard for me to envision how taking campaign funds and just handing it out to individuals would not violate the personal use prohibition.”

      RCMP head of intel. Peachy

A senior RCMP official arrested in a case that sent shockwaves through Canada’s national security community on Friday was uncovered by U.S. authorities who tipped off Ottawa, a source told Global News.

Cameron Ortis faces seven counts dating as far back as 2015, including breach of trust, communicating “special operational information,” and obtaining information in order to pass it to a “foreign entity.”

      https://globalnews.ca/news/5899146/senior-rcmp-arrested-charged/

Chinese researcher escorted from infectious disease lab amid RCMP investigation

A researcher with ties to China was recently escorted out of the National Microbiology Lab (NML) in Winnipeg amid an RCMP investigation into what’s being described as a possible “policy breach.”

Dr. Xiangguo Qiu, her husband Keding Cheng and an unknown number of her students from China were removed from Canada’s only level-4 lab on July 5, CBC News has learned.

A Level 4 virology facility is a lab equipped to work with the most serious and deadly human and animal diseases. That makes the Arlington Street lab one of only a handful in North America capable of handling pathogens requiring the highest level of containment, such as Ebola.

Security access for the couple and the Chinese students was revoked, according to sources who work at the lab and do not want to be identified because they fear consequences for speaking out.

Sources say this comes several months after IT specialists for the NML entered Qiu’s office after-hours and replaced her computer. Her regular trips to China also started being denied.

At meetings on July 8, NML staff were told the researchers are on leave for an unknown period of time. They were told not to communicate with them.

I want Sidney Powell [Gen. Mike Flynn’s lawyer] on Mount Rushmore. She filedthat ‘motion to compel’ to make the DOJ vomit up all the exculpatory evidence they’ve tried to bury and she actually put this in there:

      * Any and all evidence that during a senior-attended FBI meeting or video conference, Andrew McCabe said, “First we fuck Flynn, then we fuck Trump,” or words to that effect

      You go girl!

      Then there’s this

      * A letter delivered by the British Embassy to the incoming National Security team after Donald Trump’s election, and to outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice (the letter apparently disavows former British Secret Service Agent Christopher Steele, calls his credibility into question, and declares him untrustworthy)

first time I heard anything about a letter from the Brits about Steele. But that part NEVER made any sense to me. First we were told he was a big swinging dick in Moscow, like head of the Russian desk, but then my own research showed, among other things, that when he was stationed in Paris, he was in ‘financials’. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a spy, but that certainly doesn’t make him head of any Russian desk.

Bill Barr just stomped on Jerry Nadler and his impeachment bullshit.

Nadler requested what is known at ‘6e’ material (long story short, that’s grand jury stuff) from the Mueller report under the jurisdiction of his impeachment panel. Oopsie! You can’t compel the exec branch to turn over 6e stuff to a committee going after the exec branch.

Barr buried him in case law.

Awesome. Nadler is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. Nor are his handlers; it’s pretty obvious that there is someone pulling the strings of these puppets. It may also be that they are expecting the same results they would have gotten from spineless Republican presidents in years past who would have simply rolled over and turned over the documentation anyway. Trump doesn’t play that game.

EXACTAMUNDO!! Now follow that thread. Yesterday (I think) Pelosi stomped out of a presser yelling I’M DONE TALKING ABOUT IMPEACHMENT!!

Who/what exactly is running the ship if not Pelosi? In any other scenario, she would have hung Nadler up by his balls.

I have no idea. Nadler is from NY where AOC’s ‘sponsors’ feel they are pretty strong, but Nadler has to be either suicidal to go up against Pelosi or somebody has pictures of him with Epstein.
