Durham’s another story. In his case, if there’s a Grand Jury impaneled, he will be going after criminal indictments. And this isn’t going to be Andy Weissman fake indictments on other charges – Durham isn’t looking for people to perjure themselves and if they don’t, there are other unrelated charges that can be brought.
What would give me some supreme happiness is if Emmett Sullivan dismissed the charges against Flynn. He hasn’t always been on the right page in this affair as far as I’m concerned, but this is the same judge that went after prosecutors back in the day for their failure to turn over exculpatory Brady evidence. Here’s hoping he looks at this and sees once again horrible behavior on the part of U.S. Prosecutors, especially Weissman (yet again).
