In order to appeal to disaffected black voters who might lean toward protest voting (Kanye) or not voting (2016), Democrats ingeniously picked the one black candidate whose parents are not from America, whose ancestors had slaves, and who spent her career locking up black men.

And if you say anything against whatever Joe Biden says, you’re obviously prejudiced against senile old people.

I don’t even know where to begin. This is Byron York, who is a pretty sober guy, reporting this.

Members of the military are calling for the 82nd Airborne to remove Trump from office. And not just any members. Generals. McMaster’s people.

“The clock will strike 12:01 PM, January 20, 2021, and Donald Trump will be sitting in the Oval Office,” they write. “The street protests will inevitably swell outside the White House, and the ranks of Trump’s private army will grow inside its grounds. The Speaker of the House will declare the Trump presidency at an end, and direct the Secret Service and Federal Marshals to remove Trump from the premises. These agents will realize that they are outmanned and outgunned by Trump’s private army, and the moment of decision will arrive. At this moment of constitutional crisis, only two options remain. Under the first, U.S. military forces escort the former president from the White House grounds. Trump’s little green men, so intimidating to lightly armed federal law enforcement agents, step aside and fade away, realizing they would not constitute a good morning’s work for a brigade of the 82nd Airborne. Under the second, the U.S. military remains inert while the Constitution dies. The succession of government is determined by extralegal violence between Trump’s private army and street protesters; Black Lives Matter Plaza becomes Tahrir Square.”

As I read about Tik Tok it looks like it has a key press logger function that ships your keypresses back to China with zero data privacy concerns.

Once in China they can AI evaluate the keypresses and form a social score on you based on your phone activity.

Its said the app doesn’t respect restrictions. Hard to tell how much of it is fluff but it does seem unwise to buy or use Chinese apps.

    Not astounding at all really.
These are fully paid up swamp dwellers who’s future cash stream is under threat as they transition from the Military to the Military Industrial Complex. Eisenhower knew a thing or two about these types of general officers and specifically warned about them and their cosy relationship with big business.

They are mostly apolitical skunks who want their turn at the trough of big money defence contracts that has been the style for the past 70 years. There will never be a clean cut between the general officers and industry until there is a mandatory decade long exclusion program for military moving from command to industry.

Byron York is just mirroring the real Democrat fears that they are losing this race and Trump 2020 is the one to beat! You can learn more from the enemy’s fears than you can from the propaganda that erupts from their lips.

    @ eaglesoars:

John Nagl is at the Center for a New American Security these days.

Meet the Hawkish Liberal Think Tank Powering the Kamala Harris Campaign

The Center for a New American Security has long pushed Democrats to embrace war and militarism—and it’s poised to play an influential role in a future Democratic administration.

If you liked Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy, you can keep it.

That’s the message many Democratic voters are receiving this election, as they prepare to pick a contender from the gradually winnowing field of candidates to take on Donald Trump in 2020. And the reason is the continuing influence of a think-tank called the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).

The influence of CNAS on the 2020 election, at this point, is being channeled through the campaign of Sen. Kamala Harris (D‑CA), who has drawn heavily from its ranks to fill her line-up of foreign policy advisors. But given its status as the go-to fountainhead of Democratic foreign policy ideas, there is every chance its alumni could be part of another future Democratic administration.

Founded on the eve of what was thought to almost certainly be a coming Clinton presidency over a decade ago, CNAS has left its fingerprints all over the past ten years of Democratic foreign policy. With its bipartisan make-up and centrist approach, the think tank has served as a crucial wellspring for conventional foreign policy thinking that has shaped the actions and ideas of both the Obama administration and Clinton’s 2016 run.

A couple whiny liberal ex-officers mean absolutely nothing, their “open letter” will be regarded as worth less than toilet paper to anyone in active service. Seriously a case of much ado about nothing and a case of journalistic malpractice to even write about it.

Reason #265 why we’re leaving Virginia. Just because you don’t have kids, don’t think you can’t pay attention to the school board

This is Thomas Jefferson High School, considered one of the top schools in the U.S. It’s solely for AP students – or was.

In its final meeting last week, the group weighed several options that would gut TJ’s merit-based, race-blind admissions process and replace it with standards that they even admitted in their private meetings would essentially be race-based. They are expected this week to issue several recommendations to the Virginia General Assembly before it convenes in special session next week, including: quotas from every middle school in the county (to boost acceptance from certain middle schools with underrepresented minorities); a second-step lottery in the admissions process; and an admissions bump for students with “socioeconomic disadvantage” (also a backdoor way to increase underrepresented minorities).

Ranked America’s No. 1 public high school earlier this year by US News and World Report, TJ, as students affectionately call their school, had come in the crosshairs of a newly-emboldened army of educational activists who spew the cult of “critical race theory” propaganda, viewing the school’s low percentage of Black, Hispanic and low-income students as evidence of “systemic racism” in the school’s admissions process.

I’ll see your Arden and raise you an Andrews!
Andrews knocked back offers from Morrison of ADF and Federal Police staff to lock down the COVID high rise hotspots.
(Actually, yesterday he said those Federal offers were never made…..before ending up with a shitload of egg on his face when the Defence Minister produced signed paperwork that stated the offer)
He (or a Minister/bureaucrat that he refuses to name) then hired an Aboriginal security company from Sydney (Unified Security) to secure the Melbourne high rise apartments.
The reason?….because they have a “diversified” workforce, consisting of Aboriginal unemployed youths and refugees from the Middle East.
Not selected by merit….hooo nooo…..this was progressive identity politics writ large!
Now…..this is where it gets interesting.
Unified Security is totally unionised and was selected by an Andrews Minister, the Hon. Martin Pakula, Minister for the Coordination of Jobs, Precincts and COVID-19, and who is affiliated with the National Union of Workers….whose members also include….(drum roll…..Unified Security).
Now, Unified didn’t have enough security guards to fulfil the role they successfully won from the Andrews government, so they subcontracted out by finding other aboriginals and refugees via an App called “WhatsApp”.
Now these guys didn’t have ANY training whatsoever…..but that didn’t matter…..they were enrolled in the Union, given 5 minutes of instruction, and told to start work.
Apparently, someone forgot to tell these people, that “work” does NOT include:-
—having sex with the people who are locked down inside the buildings
—attending parties with the people in lockdown
—sleeping their shifts away in the rooms of the people in lockdown
Then, the same “WhatsApp” security people, having got themselves infected by socialising with the people in lockdown, merrily went home and infected all their families and friends!
Now for the “piece-de-resistance”…..Unified Security DOES NOT have a licence to operate as a company in Victoria!
Any wonder Andrews is trying EVERY trick in the book to avoid answering questions!
The Darwin Award for 2020 proudly submits the aforementioned for favourable consideration your honour!

I’m so over this mask crap. Just watched video with a woman who’s disabled children are suffering massive discrimination due to masking. I though maybe my nephews were a rare case, now I’m finding out the ADA and HIPAA violations are nationwide. Found out from the lawyer that no one is taking the cases right now either due to packed or closed courts.

Supreme Court Rules 7-2 On 2020 Vote – They Just Reversed 9th Circuit, Refused To Relax Ballot Rules

The Supreme Court voted 7-2 to strike down a 9th Circuit decision in Oregon. The ruling will prevent a group from collecting signatures online, claiming dangers brought on by the pandemic.

The group “People Not Politicians” wanted to put a measure on the ballot to redraw congressional and legislative maps in Oregon.

That meant getting support from locals via signatures. It appears the group claims COVID made it harder to get in-person signatures, so they wanted to circulate their measure online.

    The Supreme Court denied them.

“There are 2 different things going on Sean, the American people need to know what happened in 2016 and 2017 – and that will be done”…”and the second thing is that if people crossed the criminal line they will be charged”

this is about the 1:50 mark and it’s not exactly verbatim

But if Hannity were on his game, the next question would have been about how the DOJ declined to prosecute McCabe because the jury pool is D.C. is hopeless.

University Of Pittsburgh Cardiologist Is Stripped From Fellowship Program After Criticizing Affirmative Action

Norman Wang’s paper, originally published in the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) on March 24 and later redacted by JAHA in August after it elicited blowback, stated that there “exists no empirical evidence by accepted standards for causal inference to support the mantra that ‘diversity saves lives,’” adding, “Long-term academic solutions and excellence should not be sacrificed for short-term demographic optics.”

On August 6, Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine Anantha Shekhar tweeted:

A peer-reviewed journal recently published an article, authored by a member of the University community, that expressed views against equity and inclusivity. These views do not reflect the values of the University of Pittsburgh and its School of Medicine or our proud pursuit of disseminating knowledge for the public good. … As an institution and a community, we do not condone racism or discrimination of any kind, and we remain absolutely committed to realizing a more inclusive and equitable environment for all.

Well look, Jared quarterbacked this thing under the direction of the President. I mean, this was President Trump’s deal. But this was something very near and dear to Jared’s heart. He spent the last three and a half years cultivating relationships in the region and building trust and confidence in Israel but also in the Gulf capitals and the Arab capitals. And this wouldn’t have happened without Jared and his commitment to the deal working for his father-in-law, the president of the United States. And you know, I think the criticisms of Jared that are out there, I think, they’re unfair. I’ve never seen someone who works harder. He’s there early in the morning. He’s there late at night. He’s working the phones. He’s an extraordinarily charming guy, excellent diplomat, and under any other circumstances, would be hailed as one of the great dealmakers along with the President, in American history. Just you know, look what he did with the USMCA and what he did with criminal justice reform. I mean, he’s taken on hard issues, and the Middle East peace is just the latest in a series of tough issues that Jared’s tackled and done with aplomb. And he got results.
