Anyone want any blue crabs…we caught a couple dozen already.

  16. eaglesoars

All the surnames in my family go straight back to Ireland/Scotland/England except: 2 go to Germany [Hess, Lange, which is Anglicized Lauhousen], one to France [Beason]. Oh, wait, there is Anderson, the Dutch part but I think they are grouping that with Northern European.

I’m surprised they’re not picking up any Native American stuff – that’s a lot closer in time than the Scandanavian – which has to be coming from their slave trade in Ireland.

But from what I understand of the way Ancestry works, they can compare you only to the pool of samples they have and they probably don’t have much Shawnee.

We were just glad they all died before they found out about THAT. Me, I’m secretly laughing – I KNEW IT!! Look at my mother. She was drop dead beautiful but she looked like no one else in the family – black hair, black eyes. Odd one out. I have a photo of her in her 20s, a head shot. Yep.

    @ eaglesoars:

    America’s “Color Revolution”

For those readers who may be unfamiliar with the term “Color Revolution”, it refers to what has now become the standard technique for promoting “regime change” in targeted nations.

The term may have its origins in the works of Gene Sharp, who wrote some guidebooks on how to organize popular revolts using Madison Avenue-style marketing techniques. He recommended to the sponsors that rather than confusing or boring the participants with too much political theory, they should motivate their budding revolutionaries with pop culture, using catchy, content-free slogans, logos, and team colors.

Color Revolutions are expensive ($5 billion in the case of Ukraine) and are typically orchestrated by a public-private partnership comprised of government agencies such as the State Department and MI6 and/or CIA, combined with private funding and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

The most famous organization of this sort is the National Endowment For Democracy, a curious entity that is funded by the US Government through USAID (as well as by donations from major neocon private foundations), and has two sub-organizations that disseminate the funds to various Regime Change projects: the International Republican Institute, affiliated with the Republican Party, and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, affiliated with the Democrats. Both organizations carry out the same activity, which underscores the fact that on matters of subverting and bullying the rest of the world, there is a lot more bipartisanship in the US than people are inclined to think.

Another name associated with funding and orchestration is George Soros, whose various tax-exempt organizations such as the Open Society Foundations invariably pump money into the latest Color Revolutions, for reasons that are often more commercial than strictly political.

Well, Nashville has a crime problem, but it’s a start.

Boreing said that the move was being made due to a declining quality of life in the city, including high housing costs and homelessness.

The publisher’s 75 employees based in Los Angeles are being given until Oct. 1 to decide whether to make the move, Boreing said. He said that it looked like about 80% would make the move.
    .

If the election results are delayed, only ONE PERSON has unambiguous constitutional authority to temporarily assume the duties of the president.

Well, he is a deep state creature, so let’s parse what he is saying:

    1. Facemask is more effective against COVID than the COVID vaccine will be
    2. Facemasks are nearly USELESS against COVID, a virus that is 1/24 the size of what the mask fibers can filter. … and don’t tell me that the virus is bound to droplets and those are what get filtered out. Droplets will be stopped and then broken down to smaller size to escape.

Reading about the Seattle Antifa riot yesterday. The protestors are on 5th Avenue visiting Denny Park. That is Seattle’s high end stores street.

Seattle has 5 streets going through the downtown north and south. 1st, 2nd (crime and drugs and bus routes to West Seattle, 3rd and 5th which are the bus circulators for the whole city. And 4th. There is an underground bus tunnel that surfaces at each end of the of the city. To the west is Elliot Bay, to the East are the CHAZ, hills, and Lake Washington.

Whenever a protest hits 5th avenue and Olive way it ties a knot in the city traffic for the whole day. Buses become unreliable. Cars congest on the freeway. The shipping terminal becomes congested. People start traveling around Lake Washington instead of going downtown. They take their shopping to Bellevue and Everett and Tacoma.

A lot of medical care is isolated as the primary medical centers for the area are on First hill which is just south of the Chaz and connected to residents by that protest route once off the Freeway. Swedish Hospital, Harborview Hospital, The Polyclinic and a couple of others.

I got a 7 mile ride in this morning we’re getting new tires for the truck.

First time I’d ridden through this park. There are some very nice trails, lots of trees, and plenty of different routes you can go. Once I get the money for a trailer hitch, I think I’ll start riding through there once or twice a week.

I literally can’t believe what is happening in Victoria Australia.

The Fascist socialist Premier Andrews just keeps doubling down. He is establishing regulations that will eventually morph into an Act when the Victorian government reconvenes that gives POWER to the Victorian Police to ARREST citizens who display thought crimes and oppose whatever the government dictates under Andrews Emergency powers legislation. That means that objecting to regulations imposing curfew verbally, complaints about illegal Police behaviour, complaining about government breaking constitutional amendments, saying out aloud that the Victorian government is fascist and authotitian …… gets you arrested and held without charge at the Victorian government’s pleasure.

Victoria’s State government have the whole Victorian population locked up in their homes 22 hours a day and $5000 on the spot fines if one is caught more than 5 Km away from your home address. It appears that Victorians elected a sociopath would be communist dictator who has thrown in his hand with the Communist Chinese Party and has signed up for the Belt & Road program on his own recognises.

Molly McCann is of counsel with Sidney Powell on the Flynn case. Ain’t no dummy. She articulates here how a vaccine can indeed be made mandatory

Just like lockdowns, mandating a vaccine is mostly a state issue. (The federal government has mechanisms by which it could effectuate a mandate, but such a scenario is unlikely and outside the scope of this article). Protecting citizens’ health falls within the “police power” of the states.

The “police power” is a state’s inherent authority to govern with a view toward its citizens’ health, safety, morals, and general welfare. The 1905 Supreme Court decision Jacobson v. Commonwealth of Massachusetts is the seminal case articulating the authority of state governments to mandate a vaccine, and it left no doubt that such an action is within the government’s power.

Today, exemptions come in three primary forms: the very broad exemption of personal belief/philosophical, a middle ground of a religious exemption, and the hardest exemption to claim, a medical condition. There has been a growing push by some doctors and bureaucrats to abolish even these exemptions, and several blue states have removed exemptions just in the past few years.

EXCLUSIVE: Fed up with YouTube ‘crushing conservative voices,’ Dan Bongino acquires part-ownership of video-sharing competitor

Conservative radio host Dan Bongino has acquired an equity stake in the online video-sharing platform Rumble with hopes of competing with YouTube by establishing a platform where free speech is protected.

“We need a home,” Bongino told the Washington Examiner in an exclusive interview. “We need somewhere to go where conservative views won’t be discriminated against.” Bongino, who has 600K subscribers on YouTube, says 80% of his daily episodes of The Dan Bongino Show have been demonetized for its conservative content. “I’m sick of it, and I wanted to do something about it.”

Launched in 2013, Rumble “provides video creators a way host, manage, distribute, create over-the-top feeds and monetize their content,” according to its website.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court extends mail ballot deadlines for November election

State law says mail ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day, but the high court said Thursday that ballots will be counted if they are received by 5 p.m. the Friday after the Nov. 3 election. To count, ballots arriving after Election Day must either be postmarked by Nov. 3 or have no proof they were sent afterward. Ballots that arrive by the new deadline with missing or illegible postmarks would still be counted.

So the court just invalidated the law?

EXCLUSIVE — The Curious Case of George Kent: State Department’s Belarus “Color Revolution” Expert And “Never Trump” Impeachment Witness

But once one takes a look at what George Kent’s job actually is at the State Department, the story becomes far more suggestive—even explosive. Kent just happens to be Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau. This bureau is generally known as the State Department hub for so-called “Color Revolutions,” through which the State Department, together with covert agencies and a constellation of allied NGOs influence, and at times overturn, elections in foreign countries. Indeed, one former senior state department official has told Revolver News that Kent is a “color revolution expert” — a designation that has been corroborated to Revolver by two current senior State Department sources.

So a guy who should have been fired – is still there.
