Anticipate election day “gaslighting” from the same media. If a state result is close and Biden is leading, they will likely call it for him. Conversely if Trump is leading a close result they will delay any calls benefiting him. The MSM intended objectives for doing this are just as obvious as they were in 2016, and then again with the 2020 democrat primary contest. The media attempt to influence turnout in time zones by their method of calling races with earlier polling closes. When you know their techniques, you inoculate yourself from their manipulation.

Football Savant Offspring and I will be hitting the polling place when he gets home from work. He’s VERY excited. I reminded him that with all the propositions on the ballot, write it down and fill the ballot in. I expect lines to be rather long, although we won’t know until polls open in an hour. They really stressed mail-in and I don’t live in a metro area but I told him to prepared for a line. We’ll be going around 2:00 p.m.
I expect the President will do significantly better in California this time than he did in 2016. I doubt he’ll win the state but many I know that had doubts about him last time are all in. In 2016, most GOP simply stayed home. Also stayed home in 2018 so we may get some of those flipped seats back.

Well THAT was easy! Plenty of parking, in and out. The poll workers told me two thirds of people in our precinct voted early. But you know what? TWO Trump/Pence signs, zero people handing out R ballot sample – there was NO ONE there from the Republican party. Everyone was Dem. I did have a question about an item on the ballot (constitutional amendment), so I asked them about it, they gave me their take and I voted against them.

In-person New Jersey voters won’t have their ballots counted until at least Nov. 10, state officials say.
That’s because the state wants to have all of its mail-in ballots tallied beforehand in a bid to fight fraud, and the deadline for local election officials to receive the final mail-ins, which must be postmarked by Nov. 3, is seven days after Tuesday’s general election, or Nov. 10.
Under New Jersey’s system, every validated mail-in ballot will be recorded in a statewide database — and officials will be alerted if someone who mails in a ballot tries to also vote in person Tuesday.
