I’m grateful California didn’t let me down in some respects and had the presence of mind to reject ballot measures that had the blessing of Newsom and Harris –
Prop 15 – raising corporate property taxes (repealing Prop 13 for business) – LOST. This was the trial run for repealing Prop 13 later regarding residential property taxes. A lot of “fair share” BS. But we all are paying the same percentage rate. Where’s the “unfairness”? Voters rejected. As I predicted – they appealed to paying for firefighters, nurses and teachers. Yeah, right.
Prop 16 – Repeals Prop 209, which said you cannot use race, etc. as a criterion for awarding state contracts. This is a DIRECT pushback against BLM and the rest of the “woke” crowd, since it re-established affirmative action in state hiring.
Prop 18 – No, we are NOT going to allow 17-year-olds to vote in primaries if they turn 18 before the general election. Another way to skew the jungle primaries and keep everyone but Democrats off the state races.
Prop 21 – Rejected proposition that would have established rent control boards everywhere in California. This was another proposition that the Woke Crowd really wanted. Even Newsom was against this one.
Prop 22 – Repealed that dreadful AB-5 that made app-based drivers “employees.” AB-5 was Democrats’ getting their union buddies in the SEIU (taxis) back into the catbird seat. Uber, Lyft, et al. were all set to leave California. This is the one they actually trotted out Gloria Allwet to campaign AGAINST. BAAAAAD decision.

4. Bureaucrats begin doom predictions when not warranted. Democrats in charge shut down states and attempt to create real panic. Lie to public that it will be “for 14 days to “flatten the curve.” Change the rules once shutdown starts.
4. Shutdown crashes the economy, results in high unemployment. Democrats save the day – give people a whopping $1200.
5. MSM works overtime to frighten people and overstate implications of disease. Suppress and mock any news of therapies or actual statistics about real recovery rates o keep people worried and keep them locked down.
6. Immediately start “vote by mail” process in June, as if they KNEW there would still be lockdown in November.
7. Lockdown and fear allows severely flawed candidate to stay in basement. Mail in voting permits rampant fraud and manipulation. Instances of ballots thrown in the trash. And those are just the ones we KNOW about.
8. Everything in place for Biden victory. He will be removed from office within a year after election. Democrats get the President the DNC wanted all along. Kamala Harris. A woman totally unqualified for the office and who the voters rejected before Iowa. MSM will protect her.

The NYT posts that county as going 67 percent to Biden with 98 percent of the vote in.
It still might be the sophistication of different reporting sites and methods. The county probably gave the NYT direct access to the vote counts electronically but is slow in their own displays.
Like the New York times might update every 15 minutes against the county database. And the county itself might give them a preference and update their own display against the database every hour. That would be an agreement between the country and the New York Times that the NYT can do it better and faster. That saves the county money and accountability for delivering the stats. They can focus on data quality then.
The Times might have a department of 100 running all this work. The country might have 3 or fewer. And of those three only one is a database analyst moving data around.

Mail in ballots. To be clear, mail in ballots are NOT the same as absentee ballots. Absentee ballots must be specifically requested, they are signed and checked against the registry.
Mail ins are entirely different. In New Jersey, for example, everybody got a mail in ballot (thru the mail, of course) and there was no in-person voting. There may be several ways to submit a ballot – mail it back in, drop it off in a ballot box somewhere, etc., but chain of custody is utter trash. They can be intercepted and changed or thrown out, etc.
The counting procedure/requirements are also vulnerable. Pennsylvania does not require that the signature on the ballot match anything on file. Deadlines are useless if you allow a vote to come in a week after the election. By that time, knowing what the interim vote looks like, you can have worker bees in Joe Biden’s basement filling out all the votes they need
Covid-19 was used as an excuse to institute mail in ballots so people would not have to go mingle in public.

Providing credit to allegations of sophisticated ballot tracking technology is a page on America’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency website that displays a graphic showing watermarks are used on election ballots.
Under the “safeguards” section, the site explains, “Most ballots have proprietary style codes, such as timing marks, code channels, or QR codes. If the codes are not recognized by the voting machines, the ballot is rejected, and an election official manually reviews it.”
The agency also confirms, “Some ballots have watermarks indicating that the ballot is authentic. Watermarks are specific to each election and confirm the ballot was printed by an approved printing authority.”
Another indication the watermark theory could be true is an Executive Order President Trump signed in 2018 that allowed DHS to work with election officials in all 50 states and over 1,000 local jurisdictions to secure election systems.
On June 22nd, at 9:26PM, POTUS was already wary of a Democrat election-theft scheme, tweeting out in all caps, “RIGGED 2020 ELECTION: MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WILL BE PRINTED BY FOREIGN COUNTRIES, AND OTHERS. IT WILL BE THE SCANDAL OF OUR TIMES.”
If this plays out the way Pieczenik has described, the nation could be ready for the most illuminating revelation of American corruption in history.

If a defendant is accused of destroying evidence, is the jury allowed to assume that the evidence would have been detrimental to the plaintiff?
Example: Plaintiff is accused of destroying ballots. Defense says “but there’s no way to know how the votes those ballots would have counted, so you can’t assume motive/intent”
Can the fact of the destruction be used as evidence?
To me it seems obvious that it could, but if I’m the defense lawyer, I’m arguing that my client is illiterate and didn’t know what the ballots were for in the first place. Or something.

In a civil case it depends. If the defendant destroys evidence (spoliation), it’s up to the judge to decide. He may instruct the jury that they may consider the defendant’s conduct as evidence of guilt. In Orange County many moons ago, Farmers Insurance refused to produce evidence, stating the records had been destroyed or did not exist. The judge in that case advised them since that was the case, they would not be permitted to put on a defense. The jury came back with a $40,000,000 verdict.
In a criminal matter, it is a felony.

That’s the official list of registered voters. At least in my state. When you go to vote they have your name in a poll book. I show my ID. I sign my name. They give me a scannable ballot. I go to the polling machine vote and deposit the ballot in to a box. The only thing missing in a follow up confirmation that my vote was counted as I actually voted.
I could also request an absentee ballot. Vote from home. Then visit the polling place and vote a provisional ballot. No one notices unless a recount kicks in.
