Eagle question for you. What is the proper chain length for a woman’s pendant.
    Serious question.

  10. eaglesoars
    10 | November 23, 2020 5:07 pm

It depends on the length of her neck and the size of the pendant.

Start w/14 inches. If you have the pendant, take it with you when you look at the chain. Any female sales person will be willing to try it on for you, I did it lots of times.

This is interesting, comments are most informative

For those not aware, I work in the world of industrial distribution. Today I received an interesting note from one of my vendors.

They are experiencing product shipment delays to their USA customers due to ā€œcongestion at the portsā€. First one of these I have received.

This particular product (it is a finished good, not a part) is made in Korea, so I have to assume this is the West Coast.

So, let me try to understand this.

Covid isnā€™t a problem ā€œover thereā€? They are making so much stuff that our ports are clogged? Or is it a problem and they just donā€™t care?

As I mentioned in a previous post, the mighty struggle right now is getting finished goods from factories in the USA due to covid related sick outs and factory slowdowns due to new safety procedures. If the rest of the world is working in a normal fashion and able to make enough stuff to clog our ports, why arenā€™t we?

Or are we getting so many sickouts at the ports that they canā€™t unload the ships? And why is this happening now instead of a few months ago?

Iā€™ve been in business long enough to know that something smells. Bad.

The City of Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention is a resource McBride encourages those affected by the event to use.

Mayfair has a strict no-gun policy, [Mayor] McBride shared and said, “Guns have no place in shopping malls or other places in which crowds of people gather… If the shooter had complied with that policy, no one would have been hurt yesterday.”

OK, I went and read the article. Mass shooting and this is the comment from the Mayor?

That is a level of stupid I have not seen in a long time.

Let’s try a couple of others:

“Armed robbery has no place in today’s banking system. If the bank robber had complied with that policy, the bank would not have been robbed and no one would have been hurt.”

On 6 December 2019 2nd Lt Al-Shamrani opened fire at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola FL. The USN completed their findings last February, released the report on 20 November.

The self-radicalization of 2nd Lt Al-Shamrani was the primary cause of this fatal attack.
    […]
Contributing factors potentially influencing 2nd Lt Al-Shamraniā€™s action. The presence, or in some cases absence, of these risk factors and organizational conditions may have influenced the sequence of events leading to the attack. These factors include:

    Adverse IMS microclimate at NASC
Harassment by a Training Wing SIX (TW-6)-contracted instructor
Perceived inadequacy of the resolution of an equal opportunity (EO) harassment complaint
Inattention and absence of the RSAF country liaison officer (CLO), responsible for good order and discipline
Perceived inadequacy of religious facilities by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) IMS and RSAF leadership
Reported noise infractions at his public-private venture (PPV) residence
Observation of his attempted weapon purchase by a TW-6-contracted instructor
Isolated, questionable interactions with instructors and international military student officers (IMSO)
    Self-isolation from other KSA IMS
Unfulfilled verbal request to complete advanced Undergraduate Military Flight Officer (UMFO) training with his roommate
Departure of his roommate on leave in November 2019
    Social media network risks
Absence of a coordinated, risk assessment process
Numerous instances of unauthorized leave and travel

In addition, 2nd Lt Al-Shamrani likely faced additional personal and professional stressors due to a language barrier, cultural differences, and the rigor of high-risk aviation training and academics.

Actually I prefer Kiwi fruit and if the United States of America turned into a Kiwi fruit republic I would be OK with that.

However the Proud Boys may rebel as a Kiwi fruit was originally a fruit from China. Called a Chinese Gooseberry imported then grown in New Zealand, hence the name we now know it as ” Kiwi Fruit”

Maybe we could be a raspberry republic?

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/11/dominion-voting-systems-not-pci-compliant-failed-10-12-requirements/

Fails PCI requirements. That is fairly serious. All big governments have PCI audits for software purchases. The PCI certification requires all software in a government agency to pass. The old stuff that fails is put out to pasture. The credit card companies will de certify any online payment mechanisms as unsecure in a network environment that connects to vulnerable systems. It’s a security hole for espionage also.

The dominion software would have to be presented with airgaps and firewalls to be an allowable purchase. Obviously that was ignored. It’s an immediate call out to any government agency thought. To ask them why they are not PCI compliant. And every government would have a policy document around this issue noting exceptions. If they don’t they are a fly by night type of government agency. Not something you would trust to run an election that is built on trust.

    Nov 22
    Update:

    – Georgia: We have identified over a thousand early/abs votes cast by individuals whose registered addresses are in fact at post offices, UPS, and FedEx locations, wilfully disguising the box numbers as “Apt,” “Unit,” etc.

This guy is doing great work but on this point of UPS location being used as physical addresses he needs to drill down another step.

The Post Office now allows people to use the physical post office address as a shipping/receiving point for Fedex and UPS. If you get a PO Box they give you the option to use their physical address. The Apt and Unit terms aren’t disguises. Those are the only terms the database will accept to designate an individual. Pound signs are rejected. They are using a GIS address database that they added a field to. That database has never perfectly matched the corresponding property address data base in the property tax records.

The only way to determine a bad vote here will be to audit the actual address.

I have three addresses. My PO Box, the associated street address to the PO Box, and my actual home address. I never ship or mail anything to my home address due to meth addicts stealing anything they have an opportunity for. And I live in the woods. If The meth addicts don’t steal it some DNC enabled squirrel will. I could have voted all three addresses if I wanted to but I consider the karma to be very bad if I did so.

Strongly agree. There are numerous topics and situations in the US government that would be improved by bringing it all out into the open. There are also reports that the GOP representatives of several States are planning hearings to investigate the 2020 elections in their respective states — even if only to placate the folks who voted them in >:( . This is infuriating. The election theft — and the thieves — will get away with it. Our nation crossed the proverbial Rubicon.

    Oh dear ohhh dear.

    šŸ™‚

By the Bye could you cast your stats eye over this. I know what I think but I wondered about a second opinion…

    Thanks for looking at this..

The case study is a duopoly market where we have 18% market share.

Our sales team has a 56% overall conversion rate. (They typically make two sales calls. They get a 2nd call back 75% of the time. And then make a sale at the 2nd call 75% of the time.)

The segment I want to target is 800 accounts. Apparently 50% of them would consider switching supplier as they are unhappy with their current supplier.

Iā€™m trying to calculate our objective for market share next year if we target them.

Should I work on the assumption we will convert 50% of them (just the ones that are unhappy with their current supplier).

Or, 56% of them which is aligned with our sales teamā€™s overall conversion rate.

Or, 56% of 50% which would be our standard conversion rate of just the ones who would consider switching.

My thinking so far is to go with the 56% conversion rate. It’s a duopoly so surely this rate is based on selling to new accounts and competition accounts anyway?

I’m wondering whether the 50% unsatisfied customers is a red herring?

The segment I want to target is 800 accounts. Apparently 50% of them would consider switching supplier as they are unhappy with their current supplier.

Iā€™m trying to calculate our objective for market share next year if we target them.

Should I work on the assumption we will convert 50% of them (just the ones that are unhappy with their current supplier).

Or, 56% of them which is aligned with our sales teamā€™s overall conversion rate.

Or, 56% of 50% which would be our standard conversion rate of just the ones who would consider switching.

My thinking so far is to go with the 56% conversion rate. Itā€™s a duopoly so surely this rate is based on selling to new accounts and competition accounts anyway?

Iā€™m wondering whether the 50% unsatisfied customers is a red herring?

    i smell fish

    56% of the considering,

    Yup

The two calls with 75% call back and 75% …Bingo !! A Sale gives that 56% overallconversion and we look at the WHOLE accounts target of 800 which gives 448 converted sales. You can’t assume that the N is only a half of the N. The bloody N is still the N no matter whether only 50% are currently considering switching because they are unhappy!

The N = 800 The conversion Rate is 56% so you have to trust that your current 56% conversion rate holds true. In face considering that there is ‘trouble at mill’ with 50% of N=800 that MAY well mean that your 448 conversion rate MIGHT be on the low side but you can’t be sure.

Perhaps a little too predictable Rugby from the ABs and both the Wallabies and las Pumas seem to be fitting it with the ABs for the FULL 80 minutes now!
