    @ Bunk X:

Mat Best, the company’s 34-year-old executive vice president, insists that Black Rifle was singled out unfairly. “Every brand, name the brand, it was probably there: Walmart jeans, Nike shoes,” he said. “And then it’s like one patch from our company. There’s certain terrorist organizations that wear American brands when they go behead Americans. Do you think they want to be a part of that? And I’m not drawing a parallel between the two. I’m just simply saying there are things in business, when you grow, that are completely outside your control.”

BRCC has never been overtly political, at least in a partisan sense. Yes, I’d imagine that most of the higher-ups tend to vote Republican, but that’s because they’re ex-military, pro-gun types. Beyond that, and a general disdain for stuff like “cancel culture,” they really don’t strike me as ideologues of any sort.

Jocko Willink who teaches leadership to all these woke companies says the way to win is always to outflank the enemy.

The problem is that anyone with success or money will find themselves compromised. They get alinkskied and dogpiled if they fly a red flag. And their allies won’t go to bat for them.

The only place I see positive movement is in Bannon National Populism. Or like the Ape Army. It won’t get better until heads are taken.

Jack Posobiec (lol at his wiki entry) thinks this is a organized totalitarian approach. Biden and crew are trying to create events that allow them to remove due process.

SCOTUS crapped out again. California has a law that says you can’t bring meat into the state unless it was raised according to California standards. A suit was brought said it was in violation of interstate commerce. Ninth circuit sided w/Cali, it went to SCOTUS and SCOTUS refused to hear it. Guess how Kavanaugh and ABC voted?

I don’t find it hard to support Kyle Rittenhouse. Nor should any business even if it means giving up some customers. We have to stop accepting the woke narrative as something that is sane and good for our kids.

The message is “woke is good for you” And most people let that sale creep in their front door without an initial upfront objection.

    “woke is assholes and bullies”

Same logic for BLM. “BLM is crap thinking”

The marketing hype is strong with these ones.

When you sell overpriced average coffee, to a targeted customer base, then you had better control your own narrative to fit the image you are pushing. Otherwise when the truth finally leaks out as it always does, you will be left the butt of former customer chagrin..

I thought Marketing gurus learned these Marketing Facts 101 in first year marketing class. Apparently some folks are very slow learners, or only got a C- in Year 1 marketing.

    🙂

When a company CEO doesn’t believe the company’s propaganda, then it’s only a matter of time before everything begins to fray at the edges as the customer base flees.

Silly morons. Politics and business means that your customer base automatically halves.

From the NYT article. Following pressure from the company, Schaffer deleted his tweets, and Hafer released a video statement in which he clarified that while Black Rifle believed “in the Constitution, the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms,” and “that a person is innocent until proven guilty,” the company didn’t sponsor Rittenhouse; “we’re not in the business of profiting from tragedy.”

BRC is getting the Alinsky treatment in an effort to erode America. The owners should state if they support Rittenhouse or not. Otherwise they look like they are listening to their profit margins from the lefties first.

They are not in control of their image. CNN is. They need to roll that back instead of playing CNN roulette/

Its unfortunate. Starbucks hates the police and gets no pushback from CNN. BRCC just has people wearing its gear and the left jumps all over them.

This is where Trump was 100 percent right. the media needs to be framed as the enemy. See how the Dems can meme out a stupid thought all in unison. The GoP could do the same. “Rittenhouse is innocent in my opinion and I also like Black rifle coffee” Destroy the left narrative.

Like many corporates BRCC jumped on the Virtue Signalling wagon and dissed Rittenhouse because it was easy and they thought inexpensive to do so. They misjudged and made the mistake of politicising themselves and potentially losing more than half of their customer base in the process. Obviously whoever made the dumb marketing decision to diss Rittenhouse before he has even had his day in court is beyond stupid. Also whichever mental midget in BRCC’s marketing devision, who made the decision to trashcan their current customer base, in the hope of carving out an alternative customer base from current Starbucks customers, needs to get back onto his meds immediately.

This whole sorry exercise of corporate suicide is showing a total disconnect between BRCC’s management and the politically motivated morons in their marketing division, or the hired marketing ‘help’ that some manager made the mistake in employing. It’s stupid enough to get ‘woke’ for the sake of looking hip to a potential customer base at Starbucks who hates BRCC’s guts due to its carefully crafter image. Trashing well over half of BRCC’s current customer base in the process reeks of gold standard management stupidity.

Alternatively, if you have a ‘conspiracy bent’ you might suspect that someone in BRCC marketing just ruined the company and will probably turn up on Starbuck’s senior marketing team once the hub-but dies down.

    🙂

I was working on a Competitive Business Intelligence contract for the #3 coffee importer and roaster in country. My task was to penetrate and undermine the #2 company and take them down a peg or three. Took 6 months, but we accomplished our task and a guy who was high up in the #2 company, then applied and got a job in the outfit that had hired me and my lot! He was smart enough to realise that the #1 company wasn’t going anywhere fast and the #2 company he was working for was run by idiots. He had the smarts to see the #3 competitor roaring up in his rearview mirror and decided to cut and run.

    He was very useful.

Everything worked out just fine. Our #3 company moved up to #2 and the previous #2 company slid down to #4.

Job done and we got a well done from the new #2 company of coffee grinders and packers.

    🙂

Facebook Introduces New ‘Report Post To The White House’ Button

As part of an attempt to slow the spread of misinformation on its platform, Facebook has introduced a new “report post to the White House” button.

The feature allows you to flag posts for the Biden administration to review for misinformation. Handy for opinions you disagree with, comments critical of the government, and any expressions of freedom or other anti-government sentiments, the button will instantly cause any post to be reviewed by the current administration. Biden staffers can then check whether or not the post violates its standards of truth and flag the user for further monitoring by the government.

“We applaud Facebook, our new fourth branch of government, for taking these steps,” said Jen Psaki. “This will go a long way to helping us suppress information we find displeasing.”

Those who get flagged multiple times will be candidates for reeducation in Biden’s Gulags for Spreaders of Misinformation or a reduced “social credit score.”

I was really surprised that Ally seemed to recognize me when we talked after the show. I don’t think I’m particularly remarkable, so she must just have a really good memory. ally it was red tooth and claw capitalism writ large. The #2 coffee company was run by idiots and the market was simply reacting to their stupidity by finding out all of their weaknesses and then exploiting that knowledge . Every time they would turn around the #3 coffee competitor would be in their face and we ‘gasumpted them’ every time. My outfit just supplied the know how to allow my client the commercial smarts to drive down the #2 coffee company’s market penetration and then take advantage of that vacuum in the market.

We did another JOB on an Atlanta based gym competitor who’d broken away from a Kiwi based multi-national gym , taken a load of Intellectual Property with them and set up in opposition. These bastards then took the multi-national through the 9th circuit over a music contract which resulted in a multi million dollar ‘home town ‘ decision by the 9th circuit. Our task was to get even !

We first destroyed all of the Atlanta based competition in HK and Japan and Brazil through various nefarious strategms. Then we concentrated on penetrating the Atlanta group of gyms. We had a PI (a former major in the Georgia Police) working for us. We were reading all of their comms and were about a week behind in their financial reporting which was subjected to our financial analysis. We knew more about their financial position that they did! Seriously. We were about 3-6 months behind in their strategic planning. I caught them trading whilst insolvent and wanted to lower the bar legally, on them immediately, but was restrained by the CEO of the Kiwi multi-national. The Atlanta company tried it on a second time playing fast and loose with IP and this time the CEO, who I was reporting to, said to destroy them. It took just 2 weeks before they were closed down. Hell we were even reading all of their rubbish every week. It’d arrive Express courier regular as clockwork. Once they began it spread their rubbish and we had to employ university students to scan and use a bit of smart software to sort our the scanned pages (all 20-30 pounds of then a week) and put them back together again. Fortunately they reverted to their lazy document handling shortly thereafter and went back to just reconstructing torn up documents. Much easier and less costly. Overall we were engaged in a commercial counter intelligence operation against then for 3 years. We even clawed back the millions lost to the 9th Circuit boondoggle by watching associated gyms fall off their association lists, and the warning out the Californian branch of the International Kiwi multinational who immediately picked up these ‘discards.’

Great fun operating against morons who never even realised just how totally penetrated their whole company was.

    🙂

    quite incorrect, eagles.

by definition, ‘the cooties’, are well documented to ONLY be carried by the female of the human species primarily in the age cohort of 8 to 13 years old.

males are incapable of having ‘the cooties’ as they have the innate Y chromosome, which by its very nature precludes the male of the species from carrying said ‘cooties’.

once the female of the species reaches 14+, said cooties revert back within the female organism by a trick of perception and are no longer noticeable by the male of the species as other female attributes then blind said male to ‘cooties’.

females always have cooties, eventually though, the male can ignore, and then, be truly impervious to them.

res ipsa loquitur, as it were.

Bongino is talking about this now. It’s called Pegasus

Revealed: leak uncovers global abuse of cyber-surveillance weapon

Human rights activists, journalists and lawyers across the world have been targeted by authoritarian governments using hacking software sold by the Israeli surveillance company NSO Group, according to an investigation into a massive data leak.

The investigation by the Guardian and 16 other media organisations suggests widespread and continuing abuse of NSO’s hacking spyware, Pegasus, which the company insists is only intended for use against criminals and terrorists.

Pegasus is a malware that infects iPhones and Android devices to enable operators of the tool to extract messages, photos and emails, record calls and secretly activate microphones.

The reality is they paint their toenails to improve stature/rank with other females, while falsely believing that males are inspecting their feet for cooties.

Desperate Humanity Sends Robot Back To 2004 To Stop Mark Zuckerberg From Ever Inventing Facebook
With humanity languishing under the evil tyranny of Facebook, everyday citizens have pooled their resources together to send a killer robot back in time to 2004 to prevent Mark Zuckerberg from inventing the wicked technological scourge in the first place.

“We’ve created the ultimate bionic A.I. humanoid to find Zuckerberg and prevent this dark future before it begins,” said Bubba Crullers, head technician on the project. “We’re not trying to kill him or anything– instead, we’ve programmed the robot to befriend young Mark and try to get him really into World of Warcraft, or introduce him to a really beautiful but controlling girlfriend, or make him take up bass guitar and join a lousy punk band, or convince him to study abroad in Tibet and become a monk.”

“Whatever works– we don’t care. We just have to stop Facebook.”

Experts predict that as soon as the robot’s mission is completed, utopia will instantly break out around the earth, no one will ever believe any misinformation about anything ever again, and conservative uncles will have more time to watch World War II documentaries.

(Update: According to sources, the robot has completed its mission, which unfortunately caused young Zuckerberg to focus his energy on uploading his consciousness to a globally-connected supercomputer and he now rules the world. So, that backfired. All hail Zuck!)

How long before everything is safe in Tn and in the places they belong?
27 years is a long time to be in a home. We also did 27 years in our family home . It’s amazing the stuff you can collect over 27 years!

    🙂

Still our previous home was the one that all of our kids considered THEIR home. It wasn’t all swept up and luxurious. But it was down a little back street backing onto a small river and a duck’s bridge where the kids all fed the ducks and caught sprats to fed the cat. I don’t thing the cat EVER actually ate these fish! 🙂

Out the back was a lawn with a Wendy house for daughter and she and #1 son built several tree houses down the slope that abutted the stream. They built a small jetty and had a sailing skiff hidden in the bush and used to go for pirate raids down to the basin.

They NEVER forgave Mrs CW and me for selling THEIR home!

    🙂

This was also the site where #1 son at 6 months of age shat all over the suit of the KGB Resident and his wife, who was dining with us and demanded to bounce #1 son on his lap. #1 son must have been saving it up for ages because it filled his ‘nappy’ (diaper) overflowed into his white stretch ‘n grow and into the KGB goon’s lap. There was shit all over the place and I was saying verbally, I’m terribly sorry Mr. ******** , here allow me to clean that off your suit. Mentally I was thinking YESSSSS Go you good thing #1 son. unreal

This is just incredible…. jaw dropping. Circuit Attorney Kimberly M Gardner is the same prosecutor filing charges against the McCloskeys for defending their home in Saint Louis. Incredibly her office was charging a previously convicted felon with first-degree murder, and the prosecutor assigned to the case took maternity leave leaving no-one to show up in court.

After three missed court hearings by prosecutors, the judge was forced to drop a murder case because no one other than the defense, a public defender, was showing up in court.

This is a jaw-dropping example of a prosecutors office is a state of horrible mismanagement. Compounding the issue Ms. Gardner doesn’t even attempt to justify the collapse of the justice system… she just says whoopsie.

    Non-fatality accident…

Occurred on July 14, 2021 / Yuba City, California, USA

“While on an early morning drive coming from our daughter’s house, my wife and I couldn’t decide to go get breakfast or take the trailer I was pulling back to our house. We debated for about a minute and decided to go back to the house, I was just mentioning I need to wash my truck and I was looking at my wife who’s face went total Scary Movie screaming I looked to my left and slammed on the brakes as it looked like we were about to have a collision with a car literally flying through the air with what looked like a meteor plume behind it. I didn’t realize what it really was until it slid to a stop on its roof just 26 feet in front of me and my family in the truck. The second scream was our 11-year-old’s. For two or three days she was worried another car would fly again. I told my wife to dial 911 and I saw the engine on fire, I ran to the driver’s side of the car and tried to open the doors. I then went back to my truck to get a large bottle of water and quickly extinguished the fire that was getting bigger. Then I went to the passenger side and tried the doors and that’s when I heard a groan from inside the car. It was hard to see in there as the roof was on top of the seatbacks. I asked the person how many are in there with you and she said, ‘One, just one.’ I was astonished, then I asked if they could move their legs and I saw she was trying to squirm out from where they were I said ‘stop! don’t move. Help is on the way.’ and to ‘relax and be still.’ At that moment I said a prayer for her. The first responders showed up quickly and I gave the officer on the scene my testimony.”

I am hearing that multiple candidates have finally received notices that the reason their names do not appear on the initial list of candidates to replace Gavin Newsom in the Recall has to do with the fact that they did not properly submit redacted copies of their tax returns.
The SOS has taken the position that if a candidate is not on the list of candidates that was submitted on Saturday night, they will not be on the final list of certified candidates that is presented to the public on Wednesday absent a court order.
I am sure in the next 48 hours, there is going to be multiple lawsuits brought by numerous campaigns against the SOS for refusing to allow them to be on the ballot due to a technical issue of not properly redacting their tax returns.
For your information, this new law regarding governor candidates producing copies of their tax returns was created in an attempt to require Donald Trump to show his tax returns in 2020 or else be removed from the California primary ballot. I was one of the many attorneys involved with that litigation that got this law partially overturned as to the president.

    @ eaglesoars:
I listened to both the interviews. I have some sympathy for Evan Hafer as he tries to sail his company through the woke/anti woke culture. Nike is not being confronted with the same level of inspection. And Nike is everywhere the BRCC coffee is. I don’t think he addressed the race issues well. As unfortunate as it is IMO companies now need to wear their definition of Racism on their sleeves for all to see. Dan Loesch did bring up Rittenhouse saying that she wouldn’t want her kid there but she supported him defending himself. Hafer said he agreed with that statement 100 percent.

I thought Mat Best explained himself and his company really well. He is anti Woke to the extreme. You can see he treats it like a military objective. He lets the enemy exist but will roll into it like a tide.

The Proud Boys didn’t come up. So I expect that is the group non grata in terms of racism?

The left will carry 99 anti semites and 1 reasonable person in their cohort and make you seem them as the one nice guy. The right will have 99 nice guys and 1 anti semite and the left will make you see them all as anti semites.

Just finished my first day back at work since the big announcement. I’m not sure who pisses me off more in this, the state or the company.

The state has committed to hiring exactly zero of the current employees. They’re going to have the positions posted on their website, and they’ve “invited” our current staff to apply. Of course, all the senior positions will end up going to current state employees.

Meanwhile, the company didn’t even give us a heads-up that this was in the works. The warden found out about it during a video conference last Friday, about the same time the state issued their press release. Of course, she still has a job, along with the assistant warden, the chief of security and the chief of unit management. They were all told that they’re being transferred to our federal facility a few miles away.

The rest of us are, once again, being “invited” to apply for open positions elsewhere in the company. There may or may not be relocation assistance, depending on the job and how badly they need to fill it.

I keep a few $ in my pocket at all times because where I live there are street vendors that sell awesome stuff. El Salvadorian, Honduran and Mexican mainly.

And I DON’T mean drugs! Fresh fruit, tacos, pupusas and chicken. Cash only, no credit cards, no health inspections, no stree vendor licence. Just good, authentic home cooking.

Why invest in an Australian panty purveyor you may ask?

Victoria’s Secrets was part of the L Brands company. They split off VS to form a new company NYSE: VSCO a few days ago. Already in five days it has lost 23% of its value.

The CEO of the Australian company I have invested my life savings in arrived in New York last week ( It is rumored ) I wonder why?

    Merger with VS or acquisition?

Anyway even if I lose all my children’s inheritance then looking at the inventory of Naked and Victoria’s Secrets was worth it.

    🙂

So a merger with, or acquisition by an Australian company may breath new life into the Victoria’s Secrets brand.

Reminds me that I need a haircut before I need a man bun. Bunkarina was in town last week, she hadn’t seen me in a while. She said something that bothered me: “Ooh. Got a ‘business in the front, party in the back’ thing going on.”

The kitchen and dining room are going to be painted some shade of yellow I haven’t decided on yet. Then my artist friend is going to ‘age’ it and we’re painting at like a Tuscan home. The bathroom is going to be inspired by Wallis Windor’s bath in their Paris house.

So, now for the next month or so, you are going to be unpacking boxes and will move something from one room to the next to put something in that room. You will see something in the room to which you just went, work on that and forget the reason you came into the room in the first place.

/Trust me on this. Happened to us when we moved here 22 years ago after living in our house in Texas for13 years.

And now – after 8-9 years with us she refuses peanut butter. That’s how she takes her pills, she loves it and now she won’t touch the stuff. I am at a total loss. I don’t have any Pill Pockets, I haven’t needed them since Bonnie died.
