The only thing I would suggest you play close attention to is the continued imprisonment of the Jan 6 political prisoners. Julie Kelly is the reporter on that beat. It’s very very bad. (Steve Bannon also covers it occasionally)

I’m for holding these people to a Portland standard. That is what they all saw for months leading up to their Capitol visit. We could though draw a bi partisan line at physical violence. Cross it and you get fines and jail time. Don’t cross it and you can remain a free American.

Andrew Sullivan points out that we have a lot of people realizing they are facing two different political and legal systems in the country based on politics.

Quite a few people say that is enough to officially spilt the country in 2.

    OK… small breakthrough here.

US Justice Dept is requesting 2-month prison sentence for one of the (growing number) of Jan 6 defendants who are pleading guilty to the lower-level misdemeanor of “unlawful parading”

** Should be a massive class action suit against the feds and the media.

This is more personal. yinz know my stance on animals. But if there is something else that I, on a personal level, pay attention to, it is the abuse of dogs – or any animals – and the taxpayer funded research using live fetal tissue. Actually, that term ‘live fetal tissue’ is a euphemism for baby killing.

PETA is busy stealing chimps from the only home they’ve ever known somewhere in Wisconsin, where they will be killed by a tribe that won’t accept them.

So. Activism points are these in no particular order

    CRT in schools.

Govt monies to animal abuse in the name of research.

Killing babies in the name of gov’t research (and I have no idea why ‘minority’ babies were required).

Private NGOs going after private animal rescuers. This has been an on-going under-the radar thing for awhile, I’m just starting to ‘get it’.

And, of course, the totally unconstitutional power grab for private property of the Biden admin.

There will soon be a Fed mandate for vaccination. Made it to Tennessee just in time. Need to find ammo.

Your mileage may vary but that’s what I’m paying attention to.

Talked to a guy today about getting a dehumidifier in the crawl space under the house. His wife is in the hospital w/COVID, has been for months. At one point the hospital called him, she’s not going to make it. Gets to the hospital, steps off the elevator on her floor, security guard steps up. “Can I help you?”

“I’m here to see my wife”

    “Sorry you can’t go in”

“She’s dying” and steps around the guard.

    Guard pulls a gun.

Hasn’t seen his wife in a month.

She’s still alive, lungs are scarred, they give her 3-5 years. If you pray, her name is Andrea.

Of course he has. You’re missing the point entirely however. This is NOT about penalties, this is about retribution. If justice was served he’d have been charged found guilty of a misdemeanour, and released on time served after 60 days.

That is NOT what is happening here. With a politicised court of the ‘kangaroo type’ he is locked up in solitary pending trial for over three times his likely sentence. Justin delayed is Justice ignored and all of that.

This is pure and simple political retribution by the State against citizens, and is typical of Soviet communism. Citizens have choices. Knuckle under, accept their suppression and once the communist system fails as it always does then seek retribution against the oppressors. As usual most oppressors will walk away scot free as everyone is just sick and tired of the whole ball of wax.

Realise that life is unfair and rise above the oppressors. Alternatively one could go down swinging however realising that those at the top are normally protected by the ‘system’ whether it’s in power or out of power. Usually the only oppressors that get ‘sanctioned’ are the low level functionaries.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose “expert” advice to President Trump has resulted in the complete shutdown of the greatest economic engine in world history, has known since 2005 that chloroquine is an effective inhibitor of coronaviruses.

The Virology Journal – the official publication of Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health – published what is now a blockbuster article on August 22, 2005, under the heading – get ready for this – “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” (Emphasis mine throughout.) Write the researchers, “We report…that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”

So I’ve been called to, as an expert witness, to testify and in a court in Boston, of a child who has been removed for their parents custody, a 14 year old. And the court is, the legal system is insisting on vaccinating this 14 year old. The mother is objecting and she’s a very senior biotech executive. She’s highly informed. She’s made a decision not to vaccinate her child based on the data. And the courts have removed custody and are trying to force the child to accept vaccination. They’re so worked up the parents and they have the capital, they’re going to fly me up to Boston potentially to testify in court.

The CDC has plans to set up concentration camps for us.

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/global-covid-19/shielding-approach-humanitarian.html

They call it the ‘humanitarian approach’.

High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting.1,2 They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.
    .
    .
The green zone and living areas for high-risk residents should be aligned with minimum humanitarian (SPHERE) standards.6

There is growing concern among Tennesseans after Gov. Bill Lee quietly issued an Executive Order on Friday giving the state permission to call up the National Guard and State Guard “in connection with certain health care and emergency services operations.”

Tennessee Stands, an influential statewide conservative coalition, said they found some of the governor’s orders “exceptionally concerning.”

One section of Executive Order 83 would permit the construction of “temporary quarantine and isolation facilities.”

“Telephone assessments for involuntary commitment cases are permitted,” the executive order also states.

So much so, that now, even if the FDA issues unequivocal approval for the vaccine; I am not sure that such a decision is anything but politically driven.

David Feherty does a stand-up show that is quite spectacular. It’s all about his life in golf, the drinking and lots of stories about life on the tour. Here’s one of his stories:

It was back in the 70s and a soon-to-be prominent golfer (Ray Floyd) was playing at Augusta for his first Masters. Back then the players could not bring their own caddies but had to use one of the locals.Floyd told the caddie master he wanted a big fellow who could handle his bag, but who also would keep quiet, no advice needed.

The caddie who was assigned Floyd said, “Hello Mr. ……….”

Floyd said “Hello.” And followed that with, “That’s the last I want to hear from you.”

Everything went well until the 10th hole when Floyd pushed his drive into the right trees on the par 4. After surveying the scene he said out loud, “I’m going to hit a low fade out through that opening to carry and land mid green and then roll over the crest down near the hole.”

Surprisingly he pulled it off exactly and turned to his caddy and said, “How’s that?”

The caddie spoke for the first time and said, “That wasn’t your ball”

Great Reset: IMF to Redistribute U.S. Wealth Via Proto-Global Currency

The International Monetary Fund, in cahoots with the Biden administration, is preparing to issue $1 trillion worth of new “Special Drawing Rights” (SDRs), paving the way to replacing the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency while redistributing America’s remaining wealth to foreigners and Third World regimes. It is all part of a much-broader agenda being peddled as the “Great Reset” that will — if successful — fundamentally transform the world. COVID-19 is merely the pretext.
    .
    .
That all of this is part of a much broader agenda is not hard to discover. As The New American has been documenting for well over a decade, the Deep State intends to eventually sideline the United States and its rapidly depreciating dollar in favor of new global institutions such as the IMF and the SDR. The goal is to literally turn the SDR into a global currency, and the IMF into a Federal Reserve-style central bank with the power to feed the budding global government with endless “quantitative easing.”

Top world leaders, UN agencies, and even the IMF itself have all admitted this publicly, albeit quietly. And while they spent years condemning those who noticed as “conspiracy theorists,” at this point, global elites are now shouting their agenda from the rooftops — ironically, as a supposed solution to the disgraceful “monetary system” they run and the COVID tyranny they imposed to destroy the economy. But the truth is now being pumped out, at least to mid-level wanna-be elites who read the establishment’s pseudo-elite propaganda organs.

The Financial Times, for instance, came right out of the closet and called for the IMF’s SDR to replace the U.S. dollar. “Policymakers should negotiate some form of anchor — whether it’s tying each other’s currencies together, tying them to a central electronic currency or maybe electronic special drawing rights, the international reserve asset created by the IMF,” wrote Longview Economics boss Chris Watling on March 18 in a piece for the Financial Times peddling a “Great Reset” that also contained an unusual amount of truth.

To my knowledge, there are no controlled studies that have overturned the results of these studies. Someone pointed me to a statistical study showing that Covid infections went down after masking mandates were put in place in (I believe) Germany. Problem is, this was purely statistical and had no control group. In addition, there were other things put in place at the same time, so confounding factors make it impossible to discern whether masks were responsible, whether the virus had simply run its course in that time period, or whether things like people staying home were what reduced the rates.

So I am at Walmart scanning and bagging my almost $300 worth of groceries while the employee that wants $15 an hour “monitors” and then this happened.

Her – why are you double bagging all of your groceries?

    Me – excuse me?

Her – you are wasting our bags!

Me – if you don’t like the way I’m bagging the groceries, feel free to come on over here and bag them yourself.

Her – that’s not my job!

Me – okay, then I will bag my groceries how I please if that’s all right with you.

Her – why are you using two bags?!

Me – because the bags are weak and I don’t want the handles to break or the bottoms to rip out.

Her – well that’s because you are putting too much stuff in the bag. If you took half of that stuff out and put it in a different bag then you wouldn’t need to double bag.

*10 seconds of me just staring at her.

Me – so you want me to split these items in half and put half of them in a different bag so that I don’t have to double bag.

    Her – exactly.

Me – so I would still be using two bags to hold the same number of items.

Her – no because you wouldn’t be double bagging.

*me pressing two fingers to my left eye in an attempt to make it stop twitching.

Me – okay so here I have a jug of milk and a bottle of juice double bagged. If I take the milk out and remove the double bagging and just put the milk in the single bag and the juice in that single bag I’m still using two bags for these two items.

Her- no because you are not double bagging them so it’s not the same number of bags.

*me looking around at about 10 other customers who at this point are enjoying the show.

Me- is this like that Common Core math stuff I keep hearing about?

Her- never mind you just don’t get it.

And with that, she went back to her little Podium so she could continue texting or playing games on her phone or whatever it was she was doing before she decided to come over and critique my bagging skills.

Fall of Rome due in large part to a bloated corrupt civil service.

The “Dark Ages” were dark for bureaucrats and scribes — who get to name things like that — but the average peasant farmer consumed significantly more calories after the Empire’s taxes disappeared. The Goths and Vandals and such looted, but they stole less from the people than their predecessors. For more on this see Joseph Tainter’s The Collapse of Complex Societies. Tainter’s thesis is that the collapse occurs when the bureaucratic/parasitic load on a society destroys its ability to adapt to new challenges. We may be approaching that point. The safest and easiest thing to do would be to cut off the bureaucrats and parasites, but they will resist that with the determination of all who don’t work for a living to protect their sinecures.

Lie of credit — American Express tells its workers capitalism is racist

American Express, which made a $2.3 billion profit last quarter, invited the great-grandson of the Nation of Islam’s founder to tell its employees that capitalism is evil.

It was part of the credit card giant’s critical race theory training program, which asks workers to deconstruct their racial and sexual identities, then rank themselves on a hierarchy of “privilege.”

According to a trove of documents I’ve reviewed, AmEx executives created an internal “Anti-Racism Initiative” after George Floyd’s death last year, subjecting employees to a training program based on the core CRT tenets, including intersectionality, which reduces individuals to a tangle of racial, gender and sexual identities that determine whether he is an “oppressor” or “oppressed” in a given situation.

In a foundational session, the outside consulting firm Paradigm trained AmEx employees to deconstruct their own intersectional identities, mapping their “race, sexual orientation, body type, religion, disability status, age, gender identity [and] citizenship” onto an official company worksheet.

Employees could then determine whether they have “privilege” or are members of a “marginalized group”: White males presumably end up in the oppressor position, while racial and sexual minorities are considered oppressed.

In a related session, trainers instruct employees how to change their behavior in the office based on their relative position on the hierarchy. The trainers provide a blue flowchart with specific rules for interacting with black, female and LGBT employees: If members of a subordinate group are present, workers should practice “intersectional allyship” and defer to them before speaking.

In another handout, the instructions for white employees are even more explicit: “identify the privileges or advantages you have”; “don’t speak over members of the black and African-American community”; “it’s not about your intent, it’s about the impact you have on your colleague.”

Cruz, Toomey Slam ‘Unworkable’ Cryptocurrency Tax Scheme To Pay For Infrastructure Bill

    I don’t know what’s going on here.

    https://dailycaller.com/2021/08/11/pat-toomey-ted-cruz-cynthia-lummis-cryptocurrency/

The bill includes a tax reporting mandate for “digital assets,” or cryptocurrencies, which would force “brokers” of digital assets to disclose gains and transactions to the IRS. The provision, included to help offset the $1.2 trillion cost of the legislation, could raise $28 billion in tax revenue over the next decade.

Several Senate Republicans criticized the legislation for defining a broker as “any person who is responsible for regularly providing any service effectuating transfers of digital assets on behalf of another person,” which they say is too expansive and unfeasible.

Beyond the obvious of what is said here, I suspect there’s more going on. Something like – Oh, I dunno, make sure any broker is a gov’t agency cuz if you’re not it’s too expensive/onerous

Assault against the dollar in the works if the gov’t controls all crypto. Also negates its defining characteristic – no centralization

Australians living overseas could be “trapped” in Australia if they return, after the nation’s government tightened its border rules without notice.

Since March last year, the country has banned its citizens from leaving the country as part of its Covid strategy. That restriction has not previously applied to Australians who usually live in other countries.

But they will now need to apply for an exemption for outbound travel – in line with rules for other Australians.

Some places like SW Sydney and SW Melbourne it’s just a collection of different ethnic areas who live alongside each other and live like mini-states speaking their own languages and only ever icing with their own.

Regional areas away from the big cities are totally different and remain laid back Aussies.

The 9 months gave his liver and kidneys time to recover and for him to get his of any STDs he’d picked up along the way.

This mRNA “vaccine” is not a vaccine. All it does is trick the cells in your body to create an alien protein that your immune system then attacks. The spike protein thingy.

Dead and dying virus particles smushed up in a blender is a vaccine.

Look at how people that had the mRNA “vaccine” still become infected with COVID and although asymptomatic breed and spread the virus.

Lock up the fully vaccinated, they are spreading this virus. Isolate the vulnerable.

The only people that should be allowed to be free in society are the people who have had the Chyna Flu.

Report: Amazon Receives Secret $10 Billion NSA Contract

    https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2021/08/11/report-amazon-receives-secret-10-billion-nsa-contract/

I was hoping this claim was false and thought there was a good chance it might be, as it was made by Alan Duke, a FB factchecker. But there appears to be some merit to it.

EXCLUSIVE: Cyber expert says his team can’t prove Mike Lindell’s claims that China hacked election

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.

Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.

But cyber expert Josh Merritt, who is on the team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, told The Washington Times that packet captures are unrecoverable in the data and that the data, as provided, cannot prove a cyber incursion by China.
    .
    .
He said the scrolling text was likely meant to resemble what the packet captures would look like in the data set but were not actual packet captures, which are vital to prove the claims.

Several cyber experts at the symposium became frustrated late into the first day with not being provided with packet captures.

Mr. Merritt and Mr. Wiebe said the missing packet captures could be a result of either the format the data was sent in or they were withheld by the source of the information, Dennis L. Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery is a former government contractor who developed cyber tools named HAMMER and SCORECARD, which were allegedly used by the U.S. to influence foreign elections. Mr. Montgomery came forward with the data after he said the tools were being used to influence U.S. elections, according to Mr. Wiebe.

Mr. Merritt confirmed that Mr. Montgomery was the source of the data.

Packet captures are expensive in terms of bandwidth and size. Typically I would run a sniffer program. But one would have had to have run it during the election. It’s not a program you constantly run.

The router and firewall logs will have information probably enough to determine where China was.

Problem is that you, I, or anyone else can run a sniffer on our home pc and the majority of foreign traffic will be from China. We used to call it kiddie scripting where one bought a program they could point and shoot at an IP address and probe for vulnerabilities.

Correction, Aug. 12, 2021: An earlier version of this story overstated the number of children who have been hospitalized in Texas recently with COVID-19. The story said over 5,800 children had been hospitalized during a seven-day period in August, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That number correctly referred to children hospitalized with COVID-19 since the pandemic began. In actuality, 783 children were admitted to Texas hospitals with COVID-19 between July 1 and Aug. 9 of this year.

Montgomery was the source of the data.

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/aug/11/mike-lindells-lead-cyber-expert-says-they-cant-pro/

And the Washington Times has issued a MAJOR ‘clarification’

Kurt Olsen, a lawyer on Mr. Lindell’s team said there were multiple sources of the data that Mr. Lindell claims to have, and did not confirm that Mr. Mongtomery was the source of the data. He also clarified that the $5 million challenge has not been canceled and that Mr. Merritt would not be privy to that information.

Clarification: The article previously described Mr. Merritt as Lindell’s lead cyber expert. Mr. Merritt is a cyber expert on the red team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, and does not work directly for Mr. Lindell.

My sister just sent me an Instapundit link to this. In the event you read today that the ‘white’ population declined in percentage for the first time ever in the U.S. to now be below 60% or whatever the fuck they said it was

They lied (and as much as I despise Althouse, it is what it is)

“An earlier version of this article incorrectly reported the rate of decline of the non-Hispanic white population since 2010. It was 2.6 percent, not 8.6 percent.”

A correction posted at “Census Live Updates: U.S. Grew More Diverse in Past Decade; Most Counties Lost Population/The government released data from the 2020 census showing large increases in the populations of people who identify as Hispanic, Asian and more than one race” (NYT).

    ———-

How do you make a mistake like that — confusing percent and percentage points?

What’s the fastest growing group? Mixed race. That group doubled. Anyone who goes into the group takes away from one of the other groups.

    While we were asleep

Chuck Schumer brought HR1 – SR 1 to the floor around 3:30 a.m. after the Senate had concluded 15 hours of amendment votes on a $3.5 trillion budget resolution. In the dead of night, Schumer sought to pass the federal overhaul of elections by unanimous consent, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Only one objection by a senator was required to stop the process. In a roughly 15-minute back-and-forth, Cruz tanked Schumer’s attempt to force the election bill through the Senate.

“This bill would constitute a federal government takeover of elections. It would constitute a massive power grab by Democrats. It would disenfranchise millions of Americans and it would do precisely the opposite of its nominal title, ‘For The People.’ It is, instead, for the politicians because it entrenches politicians and ensures that the people cannot vote them out of office. It would strike down virtually every reasonable voter integrity law in the country, including voter I.D. laws supported by the overwhelming majority of this country, including prohibitions on ballot harvesting, again widely supported by people in this country. It would mandate that felons be allowed to vote, and it would automatically register millions of illegal aliens to vote. It would profoundly undermine democracy in this country, and for that reason I object.”

Lindell is supposed to be the leader. He says he has a PCAP file that is critical to the future of America. He doesn’t produce the PCAP file when repeatedly asked to do so. Instead he says his big news is that he was assaulted in his hotel. I’m sympathetic on the assault but don’t think he should have brought that to the floor of his symposium.

One of the Bannon experts (A law professor) yesterday was trying to back out by saying something more important has come up that dwarfed the importance of the PCAP.

If there was a PCAP and I was the symposium leader I could have easily released it to the analysts. Just a matter of direct facilitation instead of spending my time yammering on about how corrupt the media is.

I used to set up specific monitoring reports that recorded http and https to my org from mainland China, from Russia, from the Slavic states. We’d track the IP addresses and match them against our penetration software reports. I’d block huge segments of China from being able to view our org. A manual block. The problem with that is that the IP addresses shift and if the block is too comprehensive there is collateral damage. And there is so much of the malicious traffic you can only be efficient by purchasing modern software suites to detect and block.

David Mikkelson, the co-founder of the fact-checking website Snopes, has long presented himself as the arbiter of truth online, a bulwark in the fight against rumors and fake news. But he has been lying to the site’s tens of millions of readers: A BuzzFeed News investigation has found that between 2015 and 2019, Mikkelson wrote and published dozens of articles containing material plagiarized from news outlets such as the Guardian and the LA Times.

After inquiries from BuzzFeed News, Snopes conducted an internal review and confirmed that under a pseudonym, the Snopes byline, and his own name, Mikkelson wrote and published 54 articles with plagiarized material. The articles include such topics as same-sex marriage licenses and the death of musician David Bowie.

DC’s Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling put on lockdown

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., was placed on lockdown Friday due to reports of at least one armed and potentially dangerous person, the installation announced on Facebook.

An initial social media post warned those on base of “a potential armed individual” who was last seen on the base’s south side near the Blanchard Barracks.

“If you encounter the individual and have a safe route, RUN,” the post added. “If you do not have a safe route to run, HIDE. Barricade your door, turn off the lights and your cell phone ringer, and remain silent. If you are hiding, prepare to FIGHT.”

An update told people to be on the lookout for two male suspects, one described as a black male wearing ripped blue jeans and a second black male wearing green pants and a white top.

During his stay, he was roomed with another individual who had COVID. The other individual required antibiotics for pneumonia he contracted but the hospital refused to order him the badly needed drugs.

The doctor offered to represent the 50-year-old patient but the hospital continued to not address the man’s pneumonia. When the doctor offered to help the man, the hospital put the doctor in restraints until they decided how to deal with him.

    @ eaglesoars:

The Taliban aren’t going to be able to make use of it, and most of it isn’t anything Russia, China or Iran is going to be interested in. We deliberately equipped them with low-tech stuff, for several reasons.

Scientists Rename Climate Change ‘COVID’ So Americans Will Immediately Give Up All Their Rights To Fight It

In a clever ploy to fight global warming, scientists have renamed “climate change” to “COVID,” so that Americans will immediately give up all their rights in order to fight the unprecedented phenomenon where weather trends change over time.

“Listen up, guys—we’re not calling it ‘climate change’ anymore,” said climate researcher Dr. Brittany Boyd. “We’re going with ‘COVID,’ which stands for ‘climate oscillation & variation into destruction’—this will ensure people will listen to us and quickly surrender all their liberties to fight climate cha—sorry, I mean, COVID.”

According to Dr. Boyd, studies have shown that if you refer to the coronavirus instead of climate change, Americans who otherwise wouldn’t care about climate science will stumble over themselves to be locked in their homes and give up all rights to their state and federal governments to help out.

“COVID is going to destroy us in less than 12 years,” said Al Gore to a packed house. “We must stop this by purchasing as many of my books as possible, so I can fly to more places to spread the word about COVID.”

All books previously referring to climate change have been destroyed, just as the ones referring to “global warming” were destroyed before them. “There will only be an endless present in which we are always right,” said Boyd.

we practiced the ‘burn all’ drill quarterly.

burn all documents, destroy sensitive equipment.

Question is whether they are going to do that or be forbidden from doing so and leave behind the information the Taliban needs to persecute those who supported us and the Afghan government.

Soviets had to leave Afghanistan as well, my take is that we tell them that if the Taliban stirs up anything anywhere else in the world, we are going to come back from 50,000 feet, unleash bottled sunshine, salt the earth and walk away. If the survivors stir up more crap, we will repeat the process.

Parody is funny until it becomes true.
