listening to Ray Dalio. Holding cash is bad. Hold a debt instrument that diversifies your resource allocation when you need them. He likes bonds but also thinks we have a 35 percent chance of a civil war in the US in the next 5 years. Not good to be a moderate if that happens.

These people and their effing computer models

The Biden administration privately acknowledged in late April that a mathematical error is delaying the federal offshore oil and gas program, in a letter to industry leaders.

Richard Spinrad, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), said a subagency “discovered a miscalculation” that has caused a massive backlog in permitting, in the April 29 letter obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation. Spinrad acknowledged the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) — the subagency tasked with analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife — has used faulty modeling on such impacts and, as a result, overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.

Lot of podcasters talking about reparations. White guilt. I’d be ok if the bill was sent to people with D voter registrations only. I have no guilt about the inequities of past misdeeds. As I think everyone suffered them and committed them. Across the board. Including blacks.

Slavery is as old as time and probably originated in Egypt or further south in an African kingdom. So I tend to think Africa should bear that cost.

No reparations for the holocaust or the killing fields or the Armenian genocide. All much more gruesome modern examples of hell.

My own family history was destroyed in the late 19th century European wars. No records of anyone earlier than 1860.

IF we do reparations I think I would like a total cost accounting from the beginning of recorded history. A ledger sheet that balances all debits and credits out. Modern thieves and politicians get nothing as they have already stolen their weight in bitcoin.

That should have happened when she first declared she was “pro-choice”, a nifty euphemism for infanticide. Seriously, if there were any concern for her soul, that act should have occurred years ago. Communion is a sacrament that one can also take to their damnation if they do so in an unworthy manner such as the public and persistent sinful behavior with no remorse — publicly advocating a sin as grievous as abortion definitely falls into that category.

Slavery IS as old as time. When the waves of immigrants sailed into the Pacific 5,000 years ago from what is Taiwan they brought with them both slavery and cannibalism. Even as late as the mid Nineteenth Century both slavery and cannibalism was practiced by local aborigine tribal population in NZ. Land was wealth and tribal conquest resulted in male warriors being killed and eaten, or captured as protein ‘on the hoof’ for raiding parties to kill at a later date. Women and children captured in tribal warfare, were used as slaves to tend to crops of sweet potato and as manual labour.

As recently as 1971 I saw cannibalism up close and personal when I flew 4 cannibal Kuka Kuka tribal warriors, from jail (for eating a rival tribalist for running off with one of their wives), back to their tribal area. These Kuka Kuka, were the same tribals who ate Rockerfeller’s son when he stumbled into their tribal area after a boat wreck.

Of course sexual slavery remains a growth industry in Asia and Europe !

Ed Dowd, the former Blackrock guy, sez Fed should be pumping money into the system. I don’t understand but his points are: 200 basis point rise in 18 mos; dollar rose 18% in last yr – CRB tracks commodities and it’s up as a result of energy policy. Credit is about to collapse

I think what he’s saying is that the inflation we’re seeing is NOT strictly a monetary phenom. But I still don’t understand how injecting money into the system helps.

Elite media outlets around the world are on red alert over the world’s first-ever global outbreak of Monkeypox in mid-May 2022—just one year after an international biosecurity conference in Munich held a simulation of a “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of Monkeypox” beginning in mid-May 2022.
    ..
The global Monkeypox outbreak—occurring on the exact timeline predicted by a biosecurity simulation of a global Monkeypox outbreak a year prior—bears a striking resemblance to the outbreak of COVID-19 just months after Event 201, a simulation of a coronavirus pandemic almost exactly like COVID-19.

Event 201 was hosted in October 2019—just two months before the coronavirus was first revealed in Wuhan—by the Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum, Bloomberg, and Johns Hopkins. As with the Event 201, the participants at the Monkeypox simulation have thus far been stone silent as to their having participated in a pandemic simulation the facts of which happened to come true in real life just months later.

When will my infant child stop crying so much?

If you are a new parent who, in a more or less sleep-deprived state, googles this question, then the answer could reassure you.

Many top Google hits will refer you to an old study which concludes that infant crying normally peaks at around the age of six weeks, after which it decreases markedly and stabilizes at a low level after three months.

Typically referred to as the “cry curve,” parents might expect their infants to cry radically less after the initial peak. However, a new study from Denmark, challenges this “cry curve” pattern, by pooling data from parents in 17 different countries.

    https://medicalxpress.com/news/2022-05-ideas-infant.html

I dont know anybody who has ever spent time around babies who would think this is true, myself included. And I was with my sister’s infants A LOT. Please cousins, grandsons, blah blah blah. Babies cry until they start talking.

High level programming languages come and go in popularity.

However without assembler/machine code they would not exist.

Take the very simplest line of code in any high level programming language.

Print “Hello World” Hey that works on all hardware platforms and architectures! That is the beauty of a high level programming language.

    um………

As the Pentagon’s Director for Defense Intelligence and a senior executive in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security OUSD(I&S), Garry Reid was in charge of all counterintelligence, security, and law enforcement operations within the Department of Defense.

This, in addition to heading up the Afghanistan Crisis Action Group, the office tasked with evacuating Afghan refugees during America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Now, in an exclusive, The Debrief has learned that Reid was recently dismissed from his responsibilities within the U.S. government.

Before his ousting as Director of Defense Intelligence, Reid had been the subject of a nearly two-year-long investigation by The Debrief. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, multiple current and former Pentagon employees told The Debrief Reid had engaged in wide-ranging misconduct and corruption for years.

In the past four years, the DoD’s Inspector General’s Office had investigated Reid on numerous allegations, including maintaining a sexual relationship with a subordinate employee, sexual harassment, and fostering a hostile work environment.

In 2020, the IG Office found that Reid had violated Joint Ethics Regulations by creating an appearance of an inappropriate relationship or preferential treatment with a female subordinate and mishandling of Controlled Unclassified Information.

In May 2021, Reid was named in yet another formal IG complaint, this time involving former Director of National Programs Special Management Staff at OUSD(I&S), Luis Elizondo.

In his complaint, Elizondo accused Reid of playing a central role in obfuscating information regarding the Pentagon’s intriguing newfound interest in “unidentified aerial phenomena,” more commonly known as UFOs. Reid was also accused of maliciously misleading the public about Elizondo’s involvement with the DoD’s quasi-secret UFO program, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).

It’s not entirely clear what led to Reid’s recent dismissal. However, multiple defense officials familiar with the situation told The Debrief they believed the weight of the numerous past allegations, the disastrous withdrawal of refugees from Afghanistan, and current investigations into misconduct were too significant, and ultimately led to his dismissal.

In an email, Senior Spokesperson for the Department of Defense’s Public Affairs Office, Susan Gough, did not refute that Reid had been dismissed. However, the DoD declined to provide any further comment on the matter at this time.

the Southern War Zone of the PLA: Guangdong Province in The State of War

    VLOG 视频, JOURNALISM 我的報導
(Jennifer’s note: The following is the English translation of a leaked secret audio file of the war mobilization meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Communist Party Committee of China on May 14, 2022. The audio file was released by Lude Media. The Chinese version of the transcript is here. )

After receiving the national mobilization order and Normal Time to War Defense instructions, the provincial government determined that the Guangdong Provincial Committee immediately hold an expanded meeting of the Standing Committee.

    ************

Comrades, we now convene an expanded meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, mainly to decide the province’s major issues related to the transition to a wartime system.

First of all, Comrade Zhang Hu(张虎) will convey the national mobilization order and the instruction spirit of the State Council Central Military Commission on transferring to the wartime system and put forward a Normal to War transition proposal.

    .
    .
According to principles of being excellent at multiple domains, precise mobilization, and being led by combat concept, based on the mission and tasks of Guangdong, we propose three recommendations.

First, quickly build a joint command system between the military and the civil government.

Second, to coordinate the preparation of strategic victory mobilization.

Focus in the Taiwan Straits Area:
Replenish military sources, ensure forward push, ensure loading, ensure the navigation, and ensure island seizing

Focus in the South China Sea Area:
Complementing blind areas, maintaining rights and interests, supporting transportation, protecting islands and reefs, and controlling sea areas

Accordingly, I believe that we should follow policy ideas and methods that are demand-led, unified, and combined, precisely carry them out, grasp the differences, and do a good job of strategic mobilization and implementation of preparations for a decisive victory

Third, highlight and transform the resource potential of new domains and new systems, to focus on effectively making up for the shortage of troops, and adhere to the scientific and technological mobilization to mobilize the implementation of preparations in a prominent position.

The provincial military regions should work together with relevant industry authorities, to further dig deeper into the transformation, reconnaissance and early warning, network attack and defense, search and rescue, cross-sea delivery, and other resource potentials in new domains and new systems, to ensure that the best resources for the final battle, to ensure that best resources are utilized to ensure a strategic victory.

Pascal was ‘behind’ me. I started writing code when I was 19, which would have been 1971. IIRC the business majors during my time were taught COBOL, the STEM majors were taught FORTRAN. Assembler was not except to the CompSci majors. The problem with it was that there was no compiler. John Mashey wrote the compiler for it as his doctoral thesis but it took awhile for it to take hold. I honestly don’t know if it ever did as the software ‘fashions’ have changed so drastically since then. I knew Mashey as he and my ex were buddies and I was working as slave labor at the Comp Center at PSU at the time. He’s a brilliant guy but a total asshole. Personal hygiene lacking. One of those “my shit doesn’t stink because I’m smarter than everybody” tedious morons. His first wife, Rene (sp?) was one of those physically unattractive but moderately intelligent women who floated around trying to find validation somewhere. His wiki page doesn’t mention her, she’s been erased. But I was present at the creation. If I ever knew her last name I don’t remember it.

New York City is Inflating ‘Covid Hospitalizations’ Over 100% to Justify Its Authoritarian Response

New York City inflated reports of “Covid hospitalizations” by over 100% in order to justify the city’s response measures, which were among the most draconian in the nation.

“State data shows that of the 670 patients marked as being infected with the virus on Friday, just over two in five — or 43.7 percent — were admitted because of the disease, with the rest coming to wards for another condition such as a broken leg, but later being found to be infected,” the Daily Mail reported.

Alas Ivermectin is illegal to import into Australia and those GPs who once were willing to prescribe it have been hounder and threatened with de-registration. Such is the fear and hate by the elite class of losing the power they grabbed during lockdowns. How they can differentiate between Ivermectin used as an animal remedy and that used for treating humans is anyone’s guess. I’m sure there is a faceless bureaucrat someplace making those career busting decisions!

VIGANÒ’S DECLARATION on yielding sovereignty to the WHO for the management of health emergencies

Given that the yielding of sovereignty is considered the crime of high treason by the laws of every nation, and that Parliaments may not legislate against the interests of the Nation, much less violate the natural liberties and fundamental rights of the citizens whom they represent, I believe that it will not escape anyone’s notice that this attempt by the WHO to appropriate a power that properly belongs to individual Nations is intended to impede any sort of opposition to the Agenda 2030, which in the field of healthcare also aims to accomplish the drastic reduction of medical and hospital services, the privatization of the health industry, and disease prevention by means of vaccines.

There is a cohort of people perhaps even majority, who have given up on personal responsibility and liberty. They are content with having their freedoms truncated by elites, and seem satisfied in living lives of stunted children, unwilling to become adults with all those responsibilities that that involves. They seem addicted to electronic ‘bread and circuses’ where they waste their stunted lives in an imaginary world. This turning in on oneself has destructive outcomes to their psyche as they age and discover the hollow emptiness of their narcissistic lives. Eventually despair overwhelmed them.

What a sad way to waste a God given life. “they will own nothing ……….. and will be happy”

Well Schwab got that HALF right!

The used PsyOps and has for a century or more. There were specific PsyOps units in Vietnam, with aircraft and trained Psychologists ‘doing their thing’.

I uses PsyOps myself when interrogating potential SAS recruits. I asked our two attending PsyOps professionals if they actually knew what they were doing, as I felt ‘uneasy’. They both admitted to my face that they were ‘operating right on the edge of known fact and training philosophies’ and we may have been permanently psychologically damaging recruits to the SAS.

The accidental physical damage we did to potential SAS recruits was fairly obvious, and we had doctors monitoring everything we did to minimising that risk. The more esoteric damage that we did to recruits was less understood, and a LOT less obvious until much later, when it popped up in behaviours that were close to psychotic and certainly were amoral. I remember one case where an apparent normal soldier, a father with a lovely wife and two little girls changed physically when he entered into the closed SAS Compound. The guy physically changed. It was quite scary to observe it. He was capable of killing automatically. Anyone, and even I believe his family, if he was ordered to. I felt that he had been so conditioned that he was soulless, and an automaton. He wasn’t the only one inside that compound, but he was the standout with this empty look in his eyes.
The vast majority of SAS members managed to handle both their training and their humanity in an even handed manner. There were however this cohort who in my opinion shouldn’t have been in that unit. They however did a superlative job of training and over training to kill remorselessly and so even gained promotion.

We live in strange times folks !

‘Something weird’ is going with our universe: Hubble detects changes in the rate of expansion that cannot be explained by current physics

This suggests that the universe’s evolution and expansion is more complicated than we had realised, and that there is more to learn about how the universe is changing.

NASA said astronomers are ‘at a loss’ to figure out why there are two different values, but suggested we may have to rethink basic physics.

‘You are getting the most precise measure of the expansion rate for the universe from the gold standard of telescopes and cosmic mile markers,’ said Nobel Laureate Adam Riess, of the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) and the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Something strange is up with 45-year-old spacecraft Voyager 1

Voyager 1’s altitude articulation and control system (AACS) is sending back some strange readings, and engineers are puzzled as the craft is still operating normally. The AACS is responsible for keeping Voyager in the right orientation and making sure that its antenna is pointing toward Earth so that the spacecraft can transmit data. But now, the AACS is sending back data that doesn’t make any sense — the data looks like it could be scrambled, for example, or suggests that the system is in an impossible state — even though the antenna is still pointing the right way and transmitting just fine.

    University of Tennessee Knoxville

Groundbreaking Knoxville researcher wins A.M. Turing award, ‘Nobel Prize’ of computer science

Chances are Dongarra’s work has touched your life, even if you don’t know it. If you’ve ever used a speech recognition program or looked at a weather forecast, you’re using technology that relies on Dongarra’s software libraries.
    .
    .
If you have a multicore computer (and you probably do because everything is multicore now) or use a graphics card, you’re relying on Dongarra’s code. The macOS and iOS operating system, scientific simulations and mathematical software like MatLab or Maple all rely on versions of Dongarra’s software libraries.
    .
    .
In the late 1970s, Dongarra was a researcher at Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago. He had just decided to go into computer science full-time after considering a career as a teacher. While there, Dongarra helped write an open-source software library called LINPACK.[which I didn’t learn about until years later]
    .
    .
Dongarra developed software to allow computers to use multiple processors simultaneously, and this is basically how all computer systems work today. Your laptop has multiple processing cores and might have an additional graphics processing core. Many phones have multiple processing cores.

Pfizer Moves to Dismiss Lawsuit From COVID-19 Vaccine Trial, Citing ‘Prototype’ Agreement

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/pfizer-moves-to-dismiss-lawsuit-from-covid-19-vaccine-trial-citing-prototype-agreement_4481422.html?

Pfizer has asked a U.S. court to throw out a lawsuit from a whistleblower who revealed problems at sites that tested Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Brook Jackson, the whistleblower, alleged in a suit that was unsealed in February that Pfizer and associated parties violated clinical trial regulations and federal laws, including the False Claims Act.

In its motion to dismiss, Pfizer says the regulations don’t apply to its vaccine contract with the U.S. Department of Defense because the agreement was executed under the department’s Other Transaction Authority (OTA), which gives contract holders the ability to skirt many rules and laws that typically apply to contracts.

That means that Jackson’s claim that Pfizer must still comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulations “is simply wrong,” Pfizer said.

Warner Mendenhall, a lawyer who is working on Jackson’s case, said in a recent interview that Pfizer has “clearly not followed federal procurement laws.”

“And now they’re saying, ‘of course we didn’t follow federal procurement laws, we didn’t have to—this was just for a prototype,’” he added.

Yeah, but it doesn’t protect them from fraud claims, which I think is covered under the False Claims act.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_dick

“Spotted” is a reference to the dried fruit in the pudding (which resemble spots). “Dick” and “dog” were dialectal terms widely used for pudding, from the same etymology as “dough” (i.e., the modern equivalent name would be “spotted pudding”).[2] In late 19th century Huddersfield, for instance, a glossary of local terms described: “Dick, plain pudding. If with treacle sauce, treacle dick.”[3]

Huddersfield is a town a few miles from where I grew up.

State Farm’s support of philanthropic program, The GenderCool Project, has been the subject of news reports and customer inquiries….

Conversations about gender and identity should happen at home with parents. We don’t support requiring curriculum in schools on this topic. We support organizations providing resources for parents to have these conversations. We will no longer support that program.

According to State Farm agents who spoke with RedState on condition of anonymity, the vast majority of agents do not agree with the partnership that Soto entered into. They stated that Soto is a mid-to-lower level employee in Florida, far from the corporation’s headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois, and is at least four levels down the organization chart from Victor Terry, State Farm’s Chief Diversity Officer.

An internal investigation on how this partnership even came to be is no doubt underway.

This is so sad. I’m not a Christian, even tho I was confirmed in the Lutheran church when I was 14. I do know, however, that God IS. [full disclosure: understanding that people who are better people than I am and in some cases seriously more intelligent, I have been taken under their wings and am being given serious documentation on the resurrection which I’m still looking at]

Be that as it may, if God were authoritarian, there would be no free will, there would be no Lucifer, there would be no sin. This is a tragic mischaracterization of Christianity.

My two cents- Christianity is inherently authoritarian. “God”, the ultimate judge, priests, their judges/agents on earth. None may be questioned. Humans have No agency. And like the Christian God, had authority over your life, happiness, everything.

But as we’ve all learned over the past several decades, truth is irrelevant to the Leftist project, whose two-step program for fundamental transformation goes like this. First, posit a counter-factual. Second, act on it as if it were true while browbeating the bejesus out of your opponents. Lately, it doesn’t matter how counter-factual or, indeed, utterly ridiculous it is: men can get pregnant, police should be defunded, and the “right” to an abortion can be found in the Constitution. The Hive Mind pushes these precepts and many more, and if you don’t agree, then the only explanation is that you’re some sort of racist or bigot, now the dirtiest words in the English language. There is no longer any such thing as dispassion, and the time for debate, disagreement, and rational discussion is over. Get with the program, comrade.

    https://www.dailysignal.com/2022/05/23/homelands-rebooted-disinformation-plan-is-no-better-than-the-first/

Chertoff and Gorelick, leaders of Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ Homeland Security Advisory Council, have been tasked with giving recommendations on how DHS “can garner public trust surrounding its disinformation efforts.” What the left and the Biden administration fail to recognize is that it cannot gain the public’s trust regarding misinformation or disinformation.
    .
.Politicians now regularly prohibit law enforcement and other agencies from sharing information with the Department of Homeland Security, particularly Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, both of which produce valuable intelligence.

In addition, the Biden administration has thrown open the border, allowing foreign nationals from over 160 countries to enter the U.S. illegally and releases most of them into our interior. At the same time, the administration is encouraging more asylum fraud, which allows illegal aliens, including terrorists, to remain in the U.S. for years. All of this is a recipe for another devastating terrorist attack.

Compounding these dangerous conditions, the Department of Homeland Security under Mayorkas has prioritized all the wrong things: climate change, diversity and equity, LGBT Pride month, white supremacists, and now, “disinformation.”

This is a somewhat bleak mischaracterization of Christianity. Good reference is Luther’s “On the Bondage of the Will” and C.F.W. Walther’s “Law and Gospel”. God has laid out his plan of salvation and has shown it in his Word which does lay out how Christians are to live their lives. Christ was sent to atone for our sins given that no human can live a perfect life and by his atonement we are saved. Christians do good works and follow what is laid out in scripture as a model for their lives; however, this isn’t done out of a sense of dread of a vengeful God, but out of gratitude and thankfulness for the free gift of salvation offered through Christ’s suffering for our sins in our place. Yes, God demands perfection that is summed up as “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself.” If everyone did this, the world would be a better place. We can’t do this fully, thus the need for a savior who did it for us. Doesn’t mean we don’t try, but just that we know we fall short.

Apparently it is possible. When we took our vehicle to our local service guy a few years ago, one of the guys was working on a 1960’s era beautifully restored Cadillac. Owner’s wife had gone out with it and filled it with diesel instead of gasoline. So, no insects then.

It’s not clear to me how a global health org finds freedom of speech in its remit, but I’m sure they’ll let us know that too.

I’ve been saying this for years and they keep proving me correct: Whenever a liberal/progressive makes a statement, you need to look at it and either add the words “You need to” in place of “we” and the words “for me” at the end of the statement or add the word, “yet” to the end of the statement. Examples:

    When they say
“We need to reduce our consumption of red meat” they really mean, “You need to reduce your consumption of red meat leaving more for me”

    Or
    When they say (said):
“We only want to be recognized for our commitment to one another, we aren’t advocating for gay marriage”, what they really mean (meant) was:
“We only want to be recognized for out commitment to one another, we aren’t advocating for gay marriage yet”

    When they say,
“We just want common sense gun regulation now, we aren’t going to take your guns” they really mean
“We just want common sense gun regulation now, we aren’t going to take your guns, yet”

When you add those simple phrases, appropriately modified for grammar, you can then properly translate what they are really saying. … and history has proven me correct on this

The Economic Doom Loop Has Begun

The problem with inflation is not just how high it is, it’s how quickly it is increasing. Again, the money supply has increased so much that prices would have to almost triple to restore balance between goods and the dollars chasing them. So the Fed’s mandate requires it to intervene to stop inflation. It typically does that by raising interest rates and selling back its bonds. When the Fed sells a bond, the cash flows out of the economy relieving the inflation pressure.

To fight inflation, interest rates need to exceed the inflation rate. That means a dollar saved loses purchasing power unless savings interest rates climb from less than 1 percent to something over current inflation (now around 8 percent). One rule of thumb provides that savings interest rates should reach 150 percent of inflation in order to reverse the trend. The theory holds that high interest rates encourage saving cash thus slowing down the speed at which money chases assets. If interest rates are less than inflation, it makes holding cash a losing proposition.

But in this environment, raising interest rates will cause a cascade of problems. The higher interest rates will slow the economy and cause unemployment. It will also swallow up tax revenue as the government has to pay interest on its massive debt. But more critically, it will increase the rate of default on home mortgages. Those defaults will make mortgage-backed securities less valuable and more unpredictable. That’s how the 2008 housing market seized up.

    Thus, the doom loop.

Something is seriously wrong here and it is not guns. There is something fundamentally sick in our society where events like this happen. Is there a tie-in / correlation to ADHD medications or something else that is causing these perpetrators to lose touch with common humanity?

Mike Rowe Says Feds Revoked His Filming Permit, Received Call Claiming It Was Pulled For His ‘Personal Politics’

Rowe said his crew later received a call from someone he said “sounded credible” who claimed the permit was revoked because of Rowe’s viewpoints.

“According to this caller, someone at the highest levels of the GSA, ‘doesn’t like Mike Rowe’s personal politics,’ and used their power to deliberately string us along until the last possible second, for the express purpose of ‘yanking my chain,’” Rowe wrote.

Another very definite possibility. As I said, something is seriously sick in our society where things like this are occurring so frequently. It’s not guns, per capita ownership has been much higher in the past and these kinds of things didn’t happen. It’s not ammunition capacity, in the past, access to explosives was much easier and could have been used to cause significant mayhem. There is something fundamentally wrong that needs to be addressed and the only thing the politicians are going to do is exploit this to push their gun control agenda.

    Lack of spirituality.

Some drug addicts, some mentally ill can be diverted by getting fixated on Church. Of their choice. Someone there will at least listen to them, hug them, talk to them, assist them. Not all churches. It’s a heavy burden to assist someone whose mind has gone flat.

Social media is bringing a lot of this upon us. Johnathan Haidt writes on the increase in suicides among teenage girls due to activity on Instagram.

I’ve lived with a schizophrenic. They cope if they can be managed. But they need a managed living environment and a person they can talk to daily.

It’s cope or be on meds permanently or be incarcerated if violent. And the lack of coherence in the personality can easily lead to violence. I’ve actually lived with about 10 schizophrenics and they all let TV draw out their reality’s for them. This was before social media. Q gone bad and to an extreme. Once the FBI got ahold of them through the screen they couldn’t be deterred.

That being said talking to them about everyday stuff stabilized the person somewhat. Just that it had to be done every day. I used to spend 4 hours a night talking to just one dude after work. But he went off the rails at one point. A half way house might be best. Social workers were the worst type of support one could imagine.

It comes down to violent thoughts. Can the person realize them and then determine if they need regulation. Or does someone need to do that for them?

I’d give all mass shooters a number. Then remove all traces of their existence from society. Document it in a restricted medical museum. Dissect the shooter if he lived.

But I think the Biden disinformation and MSM social media stirs this rats nest up. While most of us look on this in horror. The potential shooter gets thrilled by it. Like that David Hogg dude does.

Letter From A US Supplier Of Industrial Chemicals: “I Have Never Seen Anything Like The Current Supply Problems”

    Dear Customer:

I hope that you and your business are doing well. New price sheets are enclosed. I have been working at xxxxxxxxxx Industries for over 50 years. I have never seen anything like the current supply problems.

Not with COVID-19 in 2020, not during Nixon’s presidency in 1968 and 1969. Raw materials are in short supply, because good workers cannot be found, because of production line breakdowns, because of COVID-19 variant outbreaks, because the automotive industry let themselves run out of everything, because freight rates have increased and now, because of a Hitler doppelganger trying to start a World War.

The cost of metal containers has more than doubled in some cases. We can’t get plastic buckets. The prices of all plastic containers have gone up sharply. The main ingredient in metal adhesive has nearly doubled in cost, and freight on the next container of it is expected to double.

Prices are up from 5% to 70% with even more increases expected.

We hoped to hold our pricing until costs came back down. That was a mistake.

Now we are faced with having to catch-up because prices are out of control and are apparently not coming back down.

We have not offered the usual 30-day notice of the increases because we have already been paying these higher costs. Old prices were below cost in some cases.

What we are offering is 10% off the new prices until May 25. This is for one order only, in quantities similar to your usual orders.

Unfortunately, if you order more than an average amount, we will have to cut back your order so that everyone can get some product. With supply running considerably behind current demand we cannot let a few customers get the lion’s share. I hope you understand.

Thank you for your continued business.

    Best regards, xxxxxxxxx.

It’s an opportunity to deflect everyone’s attention from the spiraling inflation, supply chain shortages, broken border, and failed foreign policies. Of course he’s going to get involved and the media wing of the DNC will spend 24/7 the next several days because it diverts people from the economic situation.

Charles Whitman on August 1 1966, started shooting random people from The University of Texas tower. We were living a little over a mile away, I was out playing with some other kids listening to my transistor radio when they interrupted whatever we were listening to. I went into the house a grabbed my dad’s binoculars and we rode our bikes up the closest hill where we had a clear view of the tower. We sat there listening to the radio and passing the binoculars between ourselves, we couldn’t really see any of the activity with them but we kept taking our turns until it was over. Thinking back, it was kind of surreal, a bunch kids sitting in the middle of a street on the top of a hill as it all played out. I was 10 at the time.
