    Brought over from downstairs

Unfortunately the realtor is in a completely different part of the state. The young lady with the cats wouldn’t be able to afford a down payment on a house. She was living with her mom who lost her source of income as a foster parent because of drug possession.

Well, Biden came to NM today and flew over the 300,000 acre wildfire that’s been burning for nearly a month in Air Force One. When he landed, he promised that the federal government is going to pay for all the damages resulting from it.

Seems only fair, since it was federal employees who started the damn fire in the first place.

Prescribed burn on a day with 7% humidity and 25 mph winds? Sure, no problem! What could go wrong?

Local paper this week still full bore editorial page on gun control. They are looking for sly ways to cripple gun ownership. Then saying “so sue me”.

My perception from my limited media view is that the NRA is silent in regards to whacko teen killers. Gun owners need to get a message out that solves that issue. What I am seeing is a disorganized group of gun owners relying on the Supreme Court to save their bacon.

That’s exactly why the 3 day rule was put in there in the first place. Colorado tried that crap a few years back. They don’t use NICS, because they have their own system. It also has a 3 day rule. It got to where it was taking more like 3 weeks, and they basically said “Sue us.” So the NRA did. It didn’t even go to court as I recall, because they knew they didn’t have a leg to stand on. “We suck at our jobs” isn’t a very good defense.

Funny thing is, whatever “resource shortage” they had was instantly solved.

David Hogg: Putting More Cops in Schools May Endanger Non-White Students

While speaking at the June 11 March for Our Lives rally, gun control proponent David Hogg suggested that putting more cops in schools may actually endanger students do not have white skin.

Hogg suggested that a common response to school shootings is to put more police in schools.

He then claimed, “Putting more cops in schools hasn’t worked.” He cited two examples to bolster his viewpoint: First he pointed to the armed officer who stood outside Parkland instead of entering, even as the attack was carried out. Then he made claims about the police response to Uvalde.

Hogg did not mention the numerous times armed resource officers have saved lives on campus.

For example, on December 13, 2013, an 18-year-old with a shotgun entered Denver-area Arapahoe High School and had to face the fact that an armed resource officer was coming for him. The Denver Post noted that the resource officer was a deputy sheriff who, hearing a gunshot, ran toward the gunman. As the resource officer closed in, the attacker took his own life, ending the attack.

The Arapahoe attack lasted 80 seconds. The Sandy Hook Elementary attack, where there was no armed resource officer, lasted over nine minutes.

But Hogg rejected calls for more cops on campus, saying, “Realize that putting more cops in schools actually may be a form of endangering our students as well — for the students that don’t have the privilege of having my skin color, or the fact that I am an American citizen.”

There are attempted runs on some banks in China. Depositors are being shut out.

Multiple sources contacted by Asia Markets, have confirmed deposits at the following six banks have been frozen since mid-April.

Yuzhou Xinminsheng Village Bank (located in Xuchang City, Henan Province)
Zhecheng Huanghuai Bank (City of Shangqui, Henan Province)
Shangcai Huimin Rural Bank (Zhumadian City, Henan Province)
New Oriental Village Bank (City of Kaifeng, Henan Province)
Huaihe River Village Bank (Bengbu City, Anhui Province)
Yixian County Village Bank (Huangshan City, Anhui Province)
It’s understood the banks with branches across the Henan and Anhui Provinces successively issued announcements in April, stating they would suspend online banking and mobile banking services due to a system upgrade.

At the same time, clients reported their electronic deposits in online accounts, mobile apps and third-party platforms could not be withdrawn.

This led to depositors rushing to local bank branches, only to be told they were unable to withdraw funds.

By late May, images emerged on Chinese social media of demonstrations at the front of numerous bank branches. Asia Markets has verified these images with local contacts.

i had two years in a midwest packing plant. Never a fire. Several bad chlorine leaks. A heavy union shop. There were always a few union members who would try and shut down production so they could have a day off. A couple of extra days a month. Alcohol and drug inspired. And these days this is an easy way for ANTIFA disruptors to impact the whole country. I would not be surprised that lax hiring practices has brought ANTIFA sympathies into these production lines.

Also noted where millions of poultry being killed. This seems odd. It seems like panic porn from pro maskers to me. Bad regulations. Big bird is bad.

    Union Pacific and Blackrock AGAIN

Get ready for the catastrophic DEF shortage

This whole situation is very odd, to wit:

Why would Union Pacific demand Flying J to reduce its shipments of DEF by 50 percent or face embargo? Doesn’t U.P. make money hauling DEF for Flying J?

What is Union Pacific’s business upside of this demand?

As well, did U.P. consult with CF Industries or DEF makers before issuing the edict to F.J.? If F.J. cancels 50 percent of its DEF orders, would that not affect CF and DEF makers?

For that matter, why did Union Pacific issue the edict to Flying J at all, when FJ is just the consumer, not the shipper?

Dot two: what does urea manufacturer CF Industries and the Union Pacific railroad have in common? They are both heavily owned by BlackRock, Inc.

BlackRockis the second-largest holder of CF stock. What that means is that basically BlackRock has near-controlling influence over manufacture of all urea production and urea products in the United States because of CF Industries’ dominance in the field.

BlackRock is also the second-largest shareholder of Union Pacific, owning 7.3% of common stock.

The Vanguard Group, Inc. is the largest shareholder of both companies, owning 8.5% of shares of Union Pacific and 12.37% ownership of CF Industries.
And Vanguard is also the largest shareholder of BlackRock, Inc. The second-largest owner of Blackrock, Inc., is BlackRock Fund Advisors, which means that Blackrock itself occupies that position.

Dot three: Who owns Vanguard? According to its web site, “Vanguard isn’t owned by shareholders. It’s owned by the people who invest in our funds.” But still, someone does own Vanguard shares, and guess who it is:

more at the link (and yeah, it’s Blackrock)

I would have thought it was Hormel. These packing/slaughter house shutdowns are all baloney. WE never closed. The only time the plant was shut down was when there was a strike for wages. And in those cases management all stepped onto the production lines to produce product. Though a bit slower.

The only packing houses shut down in the midwest were the mom and pop ones who were selling meat door to door and didn’t follow standards. It was a big deal. Quite a few people were buying sick cattle and selling the meat.

And if you press me I’d say that is how lab infected bats got into meat markets in China. The Chinese pride themselves on eating absolutely everything. With no fear. “Yang, watch this”, “No Poon pass me the beer and you watch this!”

This is a VERY disturbing article on Neil Gorsuch. Darren Beattie of Revolver News wrote it and it’s very fact-checkable. Apparently, Gorsuch buys into the ‘redress for historic racism’ credo. Too long to excerpt but here’s part of it

Back in 2020, Justice Gorsuch handed over nearly half the state of Oklahoma to Indian tribes. His majority opinion in McGirt v. Oklahoma, effectively stripped the state government of proper authority over the ceded Indian territory. The decision threw the state into chaos. Murder convictions were overturned, zoning and property rights disputes flared up, and who’s actually in charge of the ceded territory is still undetermined. “In our opinion, this is the biggest issue that’s ever hit any state since the Civil War,” Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt said last year.
    .
    .
It’s astounding that one state cannot properly govern half of its territory due to a Supreme Court decision. So why did Gorsuch issue it? Because America owes Indians the land for the Trail of Tears. “On the far end of the Trail of Tears was a promise. Forced to leave their ancestral lands in Georgia and Alabama, the Creek Nation received assurances that their new lands in the West would be secure forever,” Gorsuch wrote. So our nation, according to Gorsuch, must give away land Americans fought and bled for to satisfy past wrongs? That’s a blueprint for ceding much of our nation to Indian tribes.

Gorsuch also struck down states allowing non-unanimous jury verdicts on the basis of historical racism. “Courts in both Louisiana and Oregon have frankly acknowledged that race was a motivating factor in the adoption of their States’ respective non-unanimity rules,” he wrote in a 2020 decision. That argument was lambasted by Justice Samuel Alito,

    Urgent medical issue:

Monkeypox Will Get a New Name: WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it will rename monkeypox in light of an outbreak that has spanned several European counties and North America in recent days.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO’s head, confirmed Tuesday that the U.N. organization is “working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades and the disease it causes.”

He did not say what names WHO might be considering. The agency will make announcements about the names as soon as possible, Tedros said.

About 30 scientists wrote last week that there is an “urgent need for a non-discriminatory and non-stigmatizing nomenclature for monkeypox virus” and suggested this name: “hMPXV.”

Those scientists suggested that hMPXV, which they noted is just a shortened version of “monkeypox virus” in humans, would be “a non-discriminatory and non-stigmatizing classification.”

“Failure to support and adopt the proposed nomenclature and classification may result in loss of interest in sustaining active surveillance and rapid reporting of pathogens with epidemic and pandemic potentials,” they claimed.

John Kerry: ‘We Absolutely Don’t’ Need to Drill for Oil Despite Soaring Gas Prices

The Biden administration’s climate czar, John Kerry, proclaimed that despite record-high gas prices, the United States doesn’t need to drill for more oil or natural gas.

Speaking during a forum, Kerry said that Republicans and some analysts have suggested that “we need more drilling” and “we need to go back to coal.” He then argued: “No, we don’t. We absolutely don’t.”

The former secretary of state also suggested that he will push back on alleged false narratives that the United States needs to drill more and use more traditional energy sources. Kerry delivered his remarks at the University of Southern California’s Center for Public Diplomacy on June 10.

“We have to prevent a false narrative from entering into this,” he said.

Kerry’s comments come as data from auto club AAA shows that the average price for a gallon of gasoline remained steady at $5.01 nationwide. California is still leading the way with an average price of $6.43 per gallon. No other state has reached $6 gas so far.

NMB Starts Clock Toward Rail Shutdown

    https://www.railwayage.com/regulatory/nmb-starts-clock-toward-rail-shutdown/

The National Mediation Board (NMB) on June 14 set in motion a ticking time bomb toward an economy-jolting national railroad shutdown within 90 days, its two Democratic members agreeing with rail labor—and over the remonstrance of carriers and the NMB’s lone Republican—that a voluntary agreement to amend unionized rail worker wages, benefits and work rules is not within reach.

    .
    .
Speculation is that rail labor seeks to throw the dispute before Congress while traditionally labor-friendly Democrats still control the House and Senate. Labor’s two coalitions, speaking for all 12 unions, said in a statement, “We are urging our members to begin reaching out to their U.S. senators and House Representatives to voice their support for a labor-friendly PEB, and if necessary, labor-friendly legislation to bring this round of bargaining to a successful conclusion. The time to make our collective voices heard is now!” That is a risky strategy.

Abbott Nutrition is again pausing operations for some baby formula products at its facility in Sturgis after severe storms earlier this week caused flooding in parts of the plant.

The moves comes less than two weeks after Abbott resumed production months after a recall was tied to a national baby formula shortage. The plant was shut down in February due to reports linking baby formula made at the plant to infant illnesses and deaths.

Abbott announced the shutdown Wednesday, saying thunderstorms and heavy rains that hit Michigan on Monday evening overwhelmed the city’s stormwater system and caused flooding in areas of the plant.

Turkey & Russia Say 3 Ukrainian Ports Can Now Be Accessed By Grain Ships

Ankara and Moscow have put forward potential solutions to reopen Ukraine’s Black Sea ports, with Russia offering safe passage to ships while Turkey said it could help guide vessels around Ukrainian naval mines deployed to stall the Russian advance.

Russia’s UN Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia told reporters on Wednesday that the Kremlin is open to creating a “safe passage” for grain shipments, but said Moscow could not guarantee a route that would be free of mines.

“We are not responsible for establishing safe corridors. We said we could provide safe passage if these corridors are established,” he said. “It’s obvious it’s either de-mine the territory, which was mined by the Ukrainians, or ensure that the passage goes around those mines.”

While Turkey has said it would “take some time” to clear away the munitions, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu suggested safe corridors could be found in some Ukrainian ports, presenting the offer a short-term solution.

“Since the location of the mines is known, certain safe lines would be established at three ports,” the FM said earlier on Wednesday, adding that ships could “come and go safely to ports without a need to clear the mines.”

“USCP and DHS were internally warning of serious threats to the Capitol three weeks before the riot,” Banks told Just the News. “I simply don’t understand how Speaker Pelosi’s Sergeant at Arms could’ve repeatedly denied requests for National Guard troops from both the Pentagon and the Capitol Police chief after seeing just a small inkling of this intelligence. Too long to excerpt, but dead on. Glenn Greenwald.

    https://greenwald.substack.com/p/congresss-16-committee-claims-absolute?s=r

Congress’s 1/6 Committee Claims Absolute Power as it Investigates Citizens With No Judicial Limits

The Committee plotted with JPMorgan and its lawyer, former Obama AG Loretta Lynch, to obtain a citizen’s financial records with no possibility of judicial review.

This abuse of power is not merely abstract. The Congressional 1/6 Committee has been secretly obtaining private information about American citizens en masse: telephone records, email logs, internet and browsing history, and banking transactions. And it has done so without any limitations or safeguards: no judicial oversight, no need for warrants, no legal limitations of any kind.

Indeed, the committee has been purposely attempting to prevent citizens who are the targets of their investigative orders to have any opportunity to contest the legality of this behavior in court. As we reported in October, the committee sent dozens if not hundreds of subpoenas to telecom companies demanding a wide range of email and other internet records, and — without any legal basis — requested that those companies not only turn over those documents but refrain from notifying their own customers of the request. If the companies were unwilling to comply with this “request,” then the committee requested that they either contact the committee directly or just disregard the request — in other words, the last thing they wanted was to enable one of their targets to learn that they were being investigated because that would enable them to seek a judicial ruling about the legality of the committee’s actions.

These people have lost their fucking minds:

The committee’s other arguments are even more extreme: namely, that “the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause provides absolute immunity to Members and committees when performing legislative acts” and that “sovereign immunity prohibits litigation against Congress to which it has not consented, and no such consent has been.” That would mean that the 1/6 Committee could literally do whatever it wanted to citizens, and no court would have the right even to review the legality or constitutionality of what it is doing let alone put a stop to it.

Without reading it, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that he’s using state-level crime stats, which are utterly meaningless. You have to look at them the way the FBI compiles them, which is by Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).

When you do that, you’ll see that the places with the highest violent crime rates are pretty much all Democrat-run cities, regardless of whether or not they happen to be located in red or blue states. That shouldn’t be surprising, because state-level authorities have relatively little to do with fighting crime. It’s not the state police who are out there arresting criminals, and it’s not the state AG who’s prosecuting (or not prosecuting, as the case may be) them.

I wondered what happened to her. I haven’t seen her for awhile.

Dr. Simone Gold has been sentenced to prison for her ‘role’ in J6. But the judge didn’t talk about that as much as slamming Gold for her ‘min-information’ about Covid (Gold is one of the founders of Frontline Doctors)

This is straight out of Goebbels.

In 2020, Gold made headlines after appearing in a viral video – which then-President Donald Trump retweeted – that was later removed from numerous social media sites for Covid misinformation.

The video showed Gold and other members of America’s Frontline Doctors, which is known for pushing lies about coronavirus vaccines, standing on the steps of the Supreme Court, claiming that masks aren’t necessary to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and promoting hydroxychloroquine as a cure.

Gold has since been blocked by social media platforms like Facebook.

America’s Frontline Doctors told CNN last year that Gold “did not participate in any incident that involved violence or vandalism and has categorically rebuked any such activity” by others and claimed the organization has recommended other vaccines to patients but that “more study and greater transparency are needed with respect to COVID-19 vaccines.”

A number of alleged rioters have pushed anti-Covid vaccine theories or have refused to be vaccinated. A husband and wife who carried anti-vaccine protest signs into the Capitol were sentenced last August to two years of probation.

Many of the defendants held in the DC jail while they await trial have complained about lack of access to jail facilities because they refuse to be vaccinated, and some judges have hesitated to have defendants who aren’t vaccinated in their courtrooms.

But here’s my problem. Beef cattle – which the eco nuts hate because it’s meat – died of – wait for it – climate change. I’m betting that’s the narrative that will be played.

What I would like to know is what circumstances the animals were kept in. Was it a finishing facility, where they’re taken to be fattened up prior to slaughter or what?

BREAKING: Fifth largest life insurance company in the US paid out 163% more for deaths of working people ages 18-64 in 2021 – Total claims/benefits up $6 BILLION

Company cites “non-pandemic-related morbidity” and “unusual claims adjustments” in explanation of losses from group life insurance business: Stock falling, replaces CEO

    https://crossroadsreport.substack.com/p/breaking-fifth-largest-life-insurance?sd=pf&fs=e

The reports show a more extreme situation than the 40% increase in deaths in the third quarter of 2021 that was cited in late December by One America CEO Scott Davison — an increase that he said was industry-wide and that he described at the time as “unheard of” and “huge, huge numbers” and the highest death rates that have ever been seen in the history of the life insurance business.

Not clear why they fired the CEO, tho.

    And it’s not just deaths

Morbidity, of course, means disease. A lot of people are sick.

This matches what I was told by OneAmerica in January in emails following the publication of my story in The Center Square — that it was not only deaths of working-age people that shot up to unheard-of levels in 2021, but also short- and long-term disability claims.

Tribe said, “Without any doubt, beyond a reasonable doubt, beyond any doubt, and the crimes are obvious. The most obvious was that he was ordering his vice-president to do what everyone in the room knew would be illegal, namely, exercise power to pick the next president. It would be very convenient if Al Gore could have picked himself as the next president in 2000, very convenient if Richard Nixon could have done it in 1960.”

He continued, “Ordering your vice-president to violate the law in order to stay in power is a very serious federal crime, but there are other crimes as well. One that occurred to several people today is attempted murder. You know, under the criminal code of the United States, the attempted murder of the vice-president is punishable by life imprisonment.

He added, “I think he knows deep in his heart and as a lawyer that the rule of law will not survive. That as Judge Michael Luttig said today, we are still in a situation where the former president is a clear and present danger to the survival of the republic. Not to indict for what he has done is to invite him to try it again if they don’t manage to get a win in the electoral college in 2024, and then it will all be over.”

Iowa Supreme Court Rules There’s No Right to Kill Babies in Abortions

The Iowa Supreme Court has issued a major ruling today indicating there is no right to abortion in the state constitution. This sets up the state to be able to pass an abortion ban in the legislature to protect babies from abortions as soon as the Supreme Court overturns Roe.

The decision reverses a ruling the state’s highest court issued just four years ago thanks to a change in the makeup of the court with more conservative justices added — just as is happening at the federal Supreme Court level.

While people may assume psychopaths will commit criminal actions, most live fairly normal lives. In fact, many become successful leaders, as up to 12% of the CEOs within the U.S. could be psychopaths. This shouldn’t be that surprising, as psychopaths are characterized by their lack of emotion and moral character, some of the skills individuals leverage to succeed in the cutthroat corporate world. Psychopaths have also been shown to be common in other positions of power, such as being a doctor or a surgeon. This may be due to psychopaths being drawn to these powerful positions, as it gives them more control of their environment.

House Democrat calls for Clarence Thomas to resign following report of wife’s email with Eastman

Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) called on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to resign on Thursday after news that his wife, Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, emailed with conservative lawyer John Eastman, who was central in former President Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

In a statement on Thursday, Pascrell said Thomas “cannot possibly be seen as a neutral actor,” labeling him “a corrupt jurist.”

“Over the last few years, we have become numb to bad acts by powerful actors, but Clarence and Ginni Thomas have participated in one of the worst breaches of trust ever seen in our court system,” Pascrell said.

“Clarence Thomas cannot possibly be seen as a neutral actor but instead as a corrupt jurist who has poisoned the High Court. Clarence Thomas should have dignity and final respect for our democracy and resign,” he added.

The call came less than a day after The Washington Post reported that the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol has obtained email communication between Ginni Thomas and Eastman. The sources, however, would not provide details of the correspondence.

    wtf is ‘excess’ ammo?

It’s what they manufacture that’s in excess of the contract requirements. If the contract calls for 1 million rounds, and they actually make 1.3 million, they can sell the other 300k to the public.

That’s what XM855 ammo is. It’s excess military production, exactly the same as what they sell to DOD. “Surplus” would be ammo (or anything else) that was actually delivered to the government that they ended up not needing and gets sold to the public.

I thought there was a shortage? How did we get a ‘stockpile’?

Fertilizer supplies are piling up from Florida to South America. Ships are waiting to unload and companies are struggling to reduce stocks in ports and warehouses, according to people familiar with the matter.

In Brazil, warehouses are approaching maximum capacity because farmers are betting prices have farther to fall. As far back as March — just weeks after Russia invaded — North American potash reserves were at a six-year high, according to Bloomberg’s Green Markets and The Fertilizer Institute, as prices soared and farmers skipped applications.

That was a very disjointed and confusing article.
“Fertilizer Stockpiles Swell, Easing Harvest Worries” means NOTHING to the Northern hemisphere.

The harvest in the North depends on the fertilizer applied in spring. Cannot apply it now. So skimping n application three months ago because of high prices dictates the crop yield in the fall.

As to Brazil, technically it is winter in most of Brazil they will not apply fertilizer until August or thereabouts.

The FEAR of a shortage drove prices up. Not an actual shortage.

    When The Lies Come Home

After lying for months, the media are preparing the public for Ukraine’s military collapse.

    https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/when-the-lies-come-home/

The Western media did everything in its power to give the Ukrainian defense the appearance of far greater strength than it really possessed. Careful observers noted that the same video clips of Russian tanks under attack were shown repeatedly. Local counterattacks were reported as though they were operational maneuvers.

Russian errors were exaggerated out of all proportion to their significance. Russian losses and the true extent of Ukraine’s own losses were distorted, fabricated, or simply ignored. But conditions on the battlefield changed little over time. Once Ukrainian forces immobilized themselves in static defensive positions inside urban areas and the central Donbas, the Ukrainian position was hopeless. But this development was portrayed as failure by the Russians to gain “their objectives.”

Ground-combat forces that immobilize soldiers in prepared defenses will be identified, targeted, and destroyed from a distance. When persistent overhead intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance assets, whether manned or unmanned, are linked to precision guided-strike weapons or modern artillery systems informed by accurate targeting data, “holding ground” is fatal to any ground force. This is all the more true in Ukraine, because it was apparent from the first action that Moscow focused on the destruction of Ukrainian forces, not on the occupation of cities or the capture of Ukrainian territory west of the Dnieper River.

The result has been the piecemeal annihilation of Ukrainian forces. Only the episodic infusion of U.S. and allied weapons kept Kiev’s battered legions in the field; legions that are now dying in great numbers thanks to Washington’s proxy war.

Yep. Washington will fight Russia right down to the last Ukie.

    And still lose

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/06/19/rep-matt-gaetz-bidens-irs-spent-approximately-700000-on-ammo-between-march-and-june-1/

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) told Breitbart News Saturday the IRS spent approximately $700,000 “between March and June 1” purchasing ammunition.

Gaetz described the ammunition acquisition as “bizarre.”

He noted he and his Republican colleagues are trying to ascertain why the ammunition was purchased, noting, “There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo.”

Gaetz noted a scenario where federal entities are buying up ammo puts citizens in a place where the exercise of the Second Amendment is limited due to the inability to get ammunition.

He painted a dire scenario where the government reduces ammunition production “and, on the other hand, [soaks] up the supply of it.”

A usaspending.gov search lists the IRS’s ammunition purchases, which occurred over a period of months in increments ranging from $3,201 worth of ammo at one time to $92,000+ worth of ammo at one time.

I remember during the Obama admin, some guy was raided by a SWAT team from – wait for it – the Dept Education. The story was his ex-wife was behind on her school loan payments. She no longer lived at the address but that’s the address they had.
