A very interesting and dead-on, over the target article here.

The Last Punk Rocker? President Trump.

California Über Alles, The Dead Kennedys:

I am Governor Jerry Brown
My aura smiles and never frowns
Soon I will be president…

Carter power will soon go ‘way
I will be Führer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school
Your kids will meditate in school
California Über Alles
California Über Alles
Über Alles California
Über Alles California
Zen fascists will control you
Hundred percent natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face
Close your eyes, can’t happen here
Big Bro’ on white horse is near
The hippies won’t come back, you say
Mellow out or you will pay
Mellow out or you will pay
California Über Alles
California Über Alles
Über Alles California
Über Alles California
Now it is 1984
Knock-knock at your front door
It’s the suede denim secret police
They have come for your uncool niece
Come quietly to the camp
You’d look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don’t you worry, it’s only a shower
For your clothes, here’s a pretty flower
Die on organic poison gas
Serpent’s egg’s already hatched
You will croak, you little clown
When you mess with President Brown
When you mess with President Brown
California Über Alles
California Über Alles
Über Alles California
Über Alles California

Change the names to Newsom and Biden….

pay attention. Another scoop by Natalie Winters

Obama’s Chief Agriculture Advisor Just Headlined a Major Chinese Communist Party Event.

Achief advisor to the U.S. Department of Agriculture during the presidency of Barack H. Obama recently headlined an event sponsored by a Chinese Communist Party influence group targeting American farmers and farmland, The National Pulse can reveal.

The incident is the latest example of high-level, left-wing government aides ending up in the orbit of the Chinese Communist Party and comes amidst the regime’s attempt to purchase massive amounts of farmland in the U.S.

Joseph W. Glauber – who served as Obama’s Chief Economist at the Department of Agriculture from 2008 to 2014 – was a featured speaker for an August 15th event hosted by the U.S.-China Heartland Association (USCHA).

Glauber, who also served as America’s Chief Agricultural Negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative from 2007 to 2009, spoke on a panel hosted by the group titled “Finding Security: US-China Agriculture Trade in a Changing World.”

“As a global food security crisis is looming large over the horizon, what is the future of U.S.-China Ag trade, and how can the two countries collaborate to address global food security?” explained a summary of what participants would learn from attending the event.

The group hosting Glauber – who is now a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) – has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its vast efforts to subvert American politicians, academics, and journalists. The D.C.-based IFPRI is also funded in part by U.S. taxpayer dollars and China.

sounds like the Gates of Hell. From NASA

The misconception that there is no sound in space originates because most space is a ~vacuum, providing no way for sound waves to travel. A galaxy cluster has so much gas that we’ve picked up actual sound. Here it’s amplified, and mixed with other data, to hear a black hole!

A top security source told Al-Monitor this week that the agreement would be signed sooner or later because both US President Joe Biden and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei want it. “Unfortunately, Biden wants it more, and the West has gradually given in to Iran on almost all the clauses. Both sides are ripe for signing; the Iranians know they will not get more than they already received and President Biden aspires to sign before the mid-terms,” the source said on condition of anonymity, referring to the upcoming November congressional elections.

The source noted, “The deal about to be signed is nothing short of a catastrophe, not just for Israel but for the region as a whole. This is a resounding victory for Iran, which will get billions of dollars in the coming years and up to a trillion dollars by 2030 just so the world can get an additional delay of a month or two in the completion of Iran’s bomb. This is nothing short of madness and complete bankruptcy, and Israel must warn against it because there is no one else who can do so. Sadly, this is all happening at the instigation of Israel’s greatest ally, but that is the situation and we will have to deal with it.”

Trump has his declassification memorandum in place before he left offie. If the DOJ can request broadly all POTUS documents from 2017 to 2021 then I would assume Trump can also say all documents from him in that time period are subject to his declassification rules. It’s all needed to refute the constant hoaxes.

All crypto exchanges are unstable ponzi schemes. Voyager is the example. They marketed for retail investors and then made bad 100 million dollar loans. When they collapses they put the small retail investor at the back of the line for claims. They reserved money they still had to pay off larger investors. The early people get their money back, the late arrivers lose it all.

Up in New York, a special election for the 19th Congressional District between Republican Marc Molinaro and Democrat Pat Ryan could say something about the upcoming midterms. A Molinaro victory would be yet another flip from Democrat control to GOP control in special elections, as this seat was vacated by former Rep. Antonio Delgado (D-NY) when Delgado took the job as Lieutenant Governor for Gov. Kathy Hochul. Molinaro winning would slice House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s majority down to just three seats, and make it very difficult for Democrats to pass any agenda items before the end of the year.

As you certainly can attest, trauma shears would make a piss-poor weapon. They’re like the scissors they give 5-year-olds in school.

The Ka-Bar TDI is certainly a useful knife, but it has a single purpose. It’s a small, single-edged fixed blade knife designed to be worn on a person’s weak side. It has an angled handle and a unique horizontal draw sheath that lets you use it with either hand. The whole purpose of it is to keep someone from taking your pistol. It’s of zero value as an offensive weapon.

In use, you draw it with your weak hand, since your strong hand is presumably occupied with trying to retain your pistol. You reach across your body and slash downward, across the back of the assailant’s hand/arm/wrist. It should be enough to cause them to let go and jump back out of your reach, allowing you to regain control of the pistol.

Then you shoot them with it.

“When officers responded they discovered this was the home of Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Burnett said. “She assured the officers there was no issue and the call was determined to be a false call commonly known as ‘swatting.’”

The suspect, who was speaking through a computer-generated voice, then called back and said they were “upset about Mrs. Greene’s political view on transgender youth rights,” police said.

    Missed this one.

The 17-minute video is a dig at the ‘fat acceptance movement’ – a social movement that seeks to eliminate the stigma of obesity from social attitudes by highlighting the obstacles faced by fat people.

To carry out the prank, 34-year-old Crowder posed as the ‘independent scholar and fat pride activist’ Sea Matheson of Austin, Texas – an identity change complete with full make up, prosthetics and a fake belly so as to appear obese.

Crowder said he hoped the video would expose the ‘farce’ of fat studies as a discipline by infiltrating an annual academic conference dedicated to the topic at Massey University in New Zealand, where postgrads can submit their essays on the subject.

Those folks raise a ton of food in containers, and for fertilizer they use lawn and garden waste.
Great ideas for folks with poor soil and small budgets.

I use a combination of containers and in ground planting for my garden. I mulch heavily with grass clippings ( I never use weed killer on my yard) and shredded leaves.
My soil is now loaded with earth worms.

Also like to bury my kitchen scraps about 6″ below the soil right into my garden, unless they are something my chickens like. They get first dibs!

Also use organic alfalfa pellets for fertilizer. Just make sure they are organic and are not made with any sort of binders. Great for heavy nitrogen feeders, like corn.

oh also, an AC tip that saves tons of run time: at night when it’s colder outside turn the thermostat lower than you want it, you will achieve that temp very quickly compared to the same during the day. In the morning, you will have a house full of cold air, and when you turn it back up to your actual desired temperature, it will take a long time before the system will need to kick on to cool, almost 3/4 the day. This has saved me tons in AC power use.

Nancy Pelosi Leading The Charge For Biden Administration To Forgive Bar Tabs

On the heels of news that the Biden Administration is forgiving tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of student loan debt, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi began pushing the White House to offer the same relief to Americans with outstanding bar tabs.

“If little Johnny Gender Studies can get they/their student loan debt forgiven, then hard-drinking Americans should have similar benefits,” said Ms. Pelosi as she staggered through the hallways outside the House Chamber. “It’s not right that people should be saddled with enormous bar tabs for their entire lives.”

Though some lawmakers voiced support for Ms. Pelosi’s idea, other members of Congress were not as excited about the proposal. “The speaker is clearly trying to benefit from Biden’s attempt to buy the votes of the American people,” said Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan. “We midwestern yokels aren’t here to subsidize Ms. Pelosi and her husband guzzling a hundred gallons of cabernet-whatever-you-call-it! Real Americans drink cheap beer and pay their own dang bar tabs.”

While the push to have bar tabs forgiven is sure to be popular among raging alcoholics, it remains to be seen what type of effect it would have on the Democrats’ mid-term chances in November.

At publishing time, Pelosi had asked her very sober husband for a ride to the bar to meet with fellow champions of the new proposal.

welp. The Swiss are worried. As they should be.

In Swiss daily Blick, the police officer warned bluntly that there could be riots and looting if Switzerland were hit by a severe energy crisis in winter. “Imagine that you can no longer withdraw money from ATMs, you can no longer use your card to pay in stores or fill up at gas stations. The heating no longer works. It is cold. The streets are getting dark. It is conceivable that the population will rebel or that there will be looting,” said Fässler, and strongly recommended that the country’s authorities take measures to prepare for such extreme scenarios.

Fässler even recalled that during exercises carried out in 2014 to prepare for a blackout scenario, significant shortcomings were identified, including the lack of emergency power generators for the police, hospitals and other important infrastructure and services. These deficiencies have been remedied in recent years – the security forces are now armed.

There are good reasons for this precautionary measure: “I don’t want to sound extreme, but environmental disasters have also shown that certain people have abused the situation to plunder unprotected objects. This could also be the case when the network is switched off, for example in shops where there is something to buy.”

Unlikely, Any emails would be on a central server with backups. The individual hard drive if she used Exchange could host an OST file. Where she downloaded stuff she wanted to archive.

IF the actual physical drive crashed. I’ve been able to resurrect multiple failed hard drives. The information is still there. Just have to look at it in machine code. The only way to destruct a hard drive is to pass a large magnet over it that resets the iron oxide.

    oh wow.

A federal judge issued a permanent injunction on Aug. 18 against the Biden administration’s pause of new oil and gas leasing in federal lands.

The injunction applies to the 13 states that sued the Biden administration over the moratorium in March 2021, including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia.

Terry Doughty, U.S. district judge for the Western District of Louisiana, ruled that the White House overreached with the ban.

President Joe Biden signed Executive Order 14008 on Jan. 27, 2021, banning all new oil and natural gas leases on federal lands and offshore waters. The order didn’t cancel existing leases on federal lands and offshore waters. Leases on private lands also weren’t affected.

Thirteen states, led by Louisiana, sued the Biden administration, saying the lease ban violated the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), which governs offshore oil and gas leases, and the Mineral Leasing Act (MLA), which governs onshore land leases on federal lands.

Doughty issued a temporary injunction in the case in June. The injunction was overthrown by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Aug. 17.

Doughty’s permanent injunction came a day after the circuit court’s ruling (pdf). In the permanent injunction, Doughty ruled that the executive branch has no authority to change both laws.

Kathy Hochul’s call for 5.4M Republicans to leave New York is dangerous and disgusting

Gov. Kathy Hochul, who hasn’t proven shy about issuing orders, had one for the state’s Republicans this week — all 5.4 million of them: “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK?” she said. “You are not New Yorkers.”

If you can move beyond the frankly disgusting political partisanship and intolerance, her message is fiscally irresponsible, even dangerous. The governor probably already knows this, but the state’s extensive public sector is heavily reliant on personal income taxes paid by residents, and with nearly $14 billion in projected budget gaps over the next five years, it can’t afford to lose any taxpayers, let alone 5.4 million of them.

The Empire State has already lost 1.5 million residents in the past decade, and there’s no sign of that trend letting up. In fact, more than 350,000 New Yorkers relocated during the 12 pandemic-plagued months leading up to July 1, 2021.

In her attempt to be snappy, Hochul exposed a major problem that has gripped our state since the dawn of the Cuomo-Hochul era: New Yorkers are leaving, and they’re taking their tax dollars with them.

Hochul should be doing everything she can to encourage people to come to New York, not to leave. But she’s hasn’t. And her record $220 billion budget suggests she has no interest in ever letting taxpayers off a heavy hook.
    see also
    Andrew Cuomo
New Yorkers are still waiting to see if Kathy Hochul is Cuomo 2.0

New York City residents pay the highest combined state and local personal income tax rate in the nation. Those high taxes and other factors have led to a mass exodus of jobs and job creators. The Big Apple has yet to recover its pre-pandemic employment levels — coming in roughly 300,000 jobs below the February 2020 mark as of July. Two-plus years of pandemic-induced remote work have only accelerated the trend of New Yorkers seeking better and/or cheaper opportunities elsewhere.

A more cynical person might think this has been the strategy all along: Make it uncomfortable for your political foes in New York and they’ll leave. But it’s not just Republicans leaving — despite the governor’s command. New Yorkers from across the political spectrum are united by, and running from, a common enemy: the taxman.

Two more fertilizer plants in Europe shut down due to high gas prices – no energy means no food

    https://starvation.news/2022-08-26-fertilizer-plants-europe-close-high-gas-prices.html#

A pair of fertilizer production facilities in Poland have reportedly closed their doors, at least temporarily, because of the exorbitant cost of natural gas and other fuels.

Record-breaking prices for fuel all across Europe forced Grupa Azoty, the European Union’s second-largest fertilizer producer and the owner of one of the plants, to halt operations. The company issued the following statement on August 22:

“Due to record prices for natural gas, the main raw material for Grupa Azoty SA’s production, the company decided on August 22, 2022 to temporarily shut down its nitrogen fertilizer, caprolactam and polyamide 6 production plants from August 23, 2022.”

“Although there are no problems with the availability of gas, the current situation on the gas market, which determines the profitability of production activity, is exceptional and completely beyond the company’s control.”

Pay close attention to that remark about the availability of gas being the same as it has always been. The problem, as always, are the banking cartels and their financial corruption, which has created a hyperinflationary situation for energy as the markets see heavy volatility through paper trading.

I think ‘paper trading’ means futures?

“Get A Warrant” – ATF Agents Attempt To Confiscate Solvent Trap Components

A new report from the gun blog website AmmoLand Shooting Sports News claims that Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents are paying visits to law-abiding gun owners’ houses to confiscate solvent trap components.

AmmoLand’s John Crump claims, “multiple law-abiding gun owners have contacted me about visitations by ATF agents attempting to get the individuals to hand over solvent trap components purchased on GunBroker.”

Solvent traps are devices that can be used when cleaning firearms to catch the cleaning solution if poured down the barrel. The device helps prevent mess and if in the field, can help prevent harmful chemicals from being dumped into the environment. They can also be used as makeshift silencers.

We pointed out earlier this year that ATF considered solvent traps as suppressors. This comes as some gun owners legally bought the devices and manufactured them into homemade suppressors, then filed a National Firearms Act “Form 1” with the ATF and paid a $200 tax to own them legally.

Crump provides an example of ATF agents showing up at a man’s house earlier this month. Agents demanded he turn over solvent trap components:

Affirming what ex-Blackrock executive Edward Dowd has been saying about excess deaths and Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines,” the Society of Actuaries Research Institute (SARI) has released a new report indicting jab mandates as a major killer of millennials last fall.

Excess deaths among people aged 25-44 – also known as the working-age population – soared roughly a year ago as Operation Warp Speed reached its peak. Some 61,000 millennials died as a result of being forcibly jabbed, a phenomenon that Dowd likens to another Vietnam War.

There’s a link to the report in there

Especially the second half when the All Blacks left their ‘mojo’ in the change rooms. There is a major problem that remains unresolved. Actually three problems. The coach is NOT up to the job and it shows. The Captain is at the end of his career and is caring for his body to make it last a few more years and so is NOT playing to his potential. He is traditionally a ‘hard man’ but since he has taken on the captaincy he has lost that spark. He’s all at sea trying to play his own game to his capabilities AND captain the side at the same time. A lead from the front captain he definitely is not. Then there is the team. There are a lot of talent in this AB’s team but they are NOT playing like a team and it is showing in ball handling errors and general defensiveness and a loss in their self belief.

At this level the battle is not predominantly physical. It’s mental and the AB have to find their self belief and get their winning ‘mojo’ back.

    🙂

    WARSAW/BOGDANKA, POLAND —
In Poland’s late summer heat, dozens of cars and trucks line up at the Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka coal mine, as people fearful of winter shortages wait for days to stock up on heating fuel in queues reminiscent of communist times.

Artur, 57, a pensioner, drove up from Swidnik, some 30 kilometers from the mine in eastern Poland on Tuesday, hoping to buy several tons of coal for himself and his family.

“Toilets were put up today, but there’s no running water,” he said, after three nights of sleeping in his small red hatchback in a crawling queue of trucks, tractors towing trailers and private cars.

“This is beyond imagination; people are sleeping in their cars. I remember the communist times, but it didn’t cross my mind that we could return to something even worse.”

For ya’ll interested, that’s $0.42 per mile on the old battery. Seems a tad, well, expensive. Because that’s just for the replacement battery. Doesn’t include the original vehicle cost, insurance costs, electricity costs, etc. Can buy an awful lot of gasoline for that amount. Even at $4.00 a gallon, 0.42 per mile would be the energy cost for a vehicle getting 9.5 miles per gallon.

Umm, how exactly? What did MAGA Republicans do that would expand the power of the state, violently suppress and shut down their opposition or persecute or jail those who oppose their policies?
You know, that doesn’t sound like MAGA Republican tactics, sounds like the modern day White House and democrat party policies.

So, the first thing the dems did was weaponize the government against their opposition. You know what happens next? They weaponize the government against the American people. What do you think those 87,000 IRS agents are for? The IRS, the one agency for whom, apparently, none of the Constitutionally guaranteed rights apply: no presumption of innocence, no 4’th amendment protections, no protection of property against unreasonable seizure. Why do you think they are beefing up the IRS? Remember the Obamacare bill that originated in the Senate in violation of the Constitution and how they got around it? They took a bill passed by the House, stripped it of original content and “poured in” the Obamacare bill so they could pass it and go to reconciliation. They are now going to do the same thing with the IRS. Because the IRS has sweeping anti-constitutional powers, they are now going to “pour in” their ability to suppress the oppostion using this government agency.

While the Senate Leadership Fund, tied to McConnell, has pulled Arizona and Alaska campaign ad buys, it said it has done so to focus on Senate GOP candidates in other places, including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

It seems unwise to pull Arizona support. It’s reasonable to think of McConnell as preferring to be the minority lead. He’s stated so in the past. He has the Ivy League bowtie principles that much prefer the process over Trump. Same as Barr. They prefer roles and don’t realize what leadership is about.

Which is exactly why he should be removed from his leadership position

Lincoln University in the South Island of New Zealand just south of Christchurch has already solved the N2 problem. Lincoln U is an Agricultural University doing a LOT of AgResearch. It has a solution to ‘cow farts’ methane pollution. Actually the CH4 Methane comes mostly out of the front of the cow NOT the back. They have found an easy solution by mixing seaweed into cattle forage and reducing the generation of Methane 80-90%. Methane is by far and away a greenhouse gas. CO2 is airborne plant food!

    🙂

  278. Aussie Infidel
    291 | August 29, 2022 10:36 pm

Nitrogen pollution is a consequence of not separating ruminant excrement away from water courses. Tree planting along water courses and good paddock management practices manage excess N2 pollution and keep it within beneficial limits.

This stuff is NOT rocket science. It’s really easy to fix. Which brings me to ask the question. Why have groups of people been allowed to capture these subjects and insist that humanity has no choice but to agree to whatever crazy ‘solutions’ they come up with, no matter how illogical.

    Hmmmm

Actually I have no problem at all with regular short range vehicle fleets running on batteries, just as long as the base power is available at an economic price. In a lot of cases this makes sense. Over the past 70 years there have been fleets of small short range electric vehicles giving quiet pollution free service, in a number of transport sectors. Mike delivery in the Uk. Mail delivery and busses in Oz and NZ and elsewhere. Standardised short to medium range final stage trucking and delivery services.

The stupidity comes when some agenda driven arsehole attempts to FORCE the populous into adopting electric vehicles in roles where electric propulsion is totally unsuitable, for pure ideological reasons.

Same for medium and short range trucking and regular transport busses using compresses H2 technology. Just as long as there is no BS arguments about so-called Green Hydrogen. From my research the only true Green H2 comes from nuclear power generators, hydro power and geo-thermal power sources. If the economics stack up after the conversion loses are calculated then I say go for it and knock your socks off.

If however we are talking Red H2 then I have to ask. Why are you not just burning the fracked gas straight from the ground in the first place and cutting out all of the congestion losses.

Energy is just energy. Take what works most economically and leave it at that. It’s called …. The Market!
