NCAA College Football Week 1 2022 OPEN

THIS IS AN OPEN THREAD

Ahhhhh, that’s better. College Football Season! My Beloved Panthers beat the toothless inbred, yayhoos from that school in Morgantown WV late in the game on a heads up defensive play. This Backyard Brawl was one for the ages. If you don’t get it, read about it. If you still don’t get it, well…to each, his own.

NEXT WEEK: My Beloved PITT Panthers versus the Tennessee Volunteers! at PGH.

Eastern Tennessee State U is gonna be on the road versus a school where I was a lecturer…heh….on 9/11.

It’s week 1, let’s start with $1000 dollars $57K in last year’s money) and get this ‘betting’ underway. All bets are $100 unless otherwise noted.

  @  3 Georgia
3:30 PM

on ABC at 1530. Here we go again, the Ducks are over-rated again. The Bulldogs cover this 16pt spread at home.

  @  2 Ohio State
7:30 PM

on ABC at 1930. ND is ranked 5, OSU is ranked 2. This has playoff implications. The difference will be OSU’s QB CJ Stroud. He had 4500 passing yards last year, as a Sophomore! If he keeps his head and doesn’t run around like a squirrel (or an ostrich, see last night’s thread) then OSU can beat this 16 point spread. I think OSU can beat this spread.

Yeah, only 2 games, it’s early!

ENJOY THIS OPEN!

Funny listening to those who watch from a far. Because I have seen and watched it all from the beginning and listened to voters. Up close, very personal.

Let me break a few brains…

Trump’s legit successor, who truly represents his voters, is not even a man.

I’m betting Kari Lake or Marjorie Taylor Green.

Michigan Investigates Missing Voting Equipment That Ended up on eBay

Police in Michigan are working with the state government to investigate how a piece of voting equipment ended up for sale online, according to Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

“We are actively working with law enforcement to investigate allegations of an illegal attempt to sell a voter assist terminal acquired in Michigan,” Benson said in a statement.

“Voter assist terminals are not used to tabulate ballots, but are typically used by voters with disabilities who need assistance marking their ballot privately at polling places,” she said.

“While our elections remain secure and safe, we take seriously all violations of election law and will be working with relevant authorities to ensure there are consequences for those who break the law.”

The machine had disappeared from the Colfax Township in Wexford County.

Colfax Township Clerk Becky Stoddard confirmed to the Cadillac News that the equipment taken was a voter assist terminal machine or tablet from her township. Wexford County Clerk Alaina Nyman told the outlet that the voter assist terminal was noticed as missing some time before the August primary.

“The equipment that went missing was not anything that could change a vote. It was a touchscreen [Voter Assist Terminal] machine,” Nyman said. “No election data was on it and you can’t get into the machine without the program cards and those were all accounted for.”

Under Michigan election law, it is a felony to “conceal, withhold, or destroy a ballot box or voting machine,” as well as to “obtain undue possession of that ballot box or voting machine.”

Harri Hursti, a cybersecurity expert in Connecticut, said he had purchased a Michigan voting device on eBay for $1,200. He told WJBK that he then reached out to state officials after the purchase went through.

On Twitter, Hursti wrote: “I contacted MI authorities even before the machine arrived – and before I even knew for certain if the machine had been used in Michigan.

“I still do not know that as a fact, because the machine is still in an [unopened] box,” he added.

He is now waiting for law enforcement to collect the voting device.

According to CNN, the eBay seller of the item is Ean Hutchison, a man based in Ohio who had found the machine at an online Goodwill website in Northern Michigan.

Hutchison told CNN that he purchased the machine online at Goodwill for $7.99 before selling it for $1,200. “I have a knack for finding hidden gems really cheap and turning a quick profit,” Hutchison told the station.

Germany Will Support Ukraine ‘No Matter What My Voters Think’, Says Foreign Minister

The German government will support the Ukrainian war effort for “as long as they need us” and no matter what public opinion of voters is on the issue, Germany’s foreign minister said on Wednesday.

Appearing at the Forum 2000 conference in Prague, Annalena Baerbock of the Green Party, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the ‘traffic light’ coalition government of Olaf Scholz, said that Germany will press on with supporting Ukraine’s struggle supporting sanctions against Russia for years if necessary.

“We stand with Ukraine as long as they need us,” she said, adding that this promise to the Ukrainian people must be fulfilled “no matter what my German voter thinks.”

The Green Party politician said that if the public doesn’t like the direction the government has taken, they can express their displeasure at the next election.

“Yes, everyone wishes from us that tomorrow the war stops, but in case it doesn’t stop, I will also be there in two years time,” Baerbock said, adding that European sanctions packages against Russia should be crafted so that they could be in effect for years.

Closest I have heard is Jack Carr saying all the operators he knows that are in congress have sold out to the military industrial complex.

And for some reason non of them think Rob ONeill killed Bin Laden. It seems he did take the first or second shot and his co team member in the room wanted to be a silent Seal. I’d say the headshot to Bin Laden was definitely ONEill. based on the stories people have told.

There is a DEVESTATING piece up on the UK’s Daily Mail about Biden’s speech. Whoever in his admin thought this was a good idea……..

In Philadelphia, however, Biden wasn’t demonizing elected officials. He was taking square aim at regular citizens.
    .
    .
If last night’s 24-minute oration were judged as nothing more than a stump speech, objectively, it probably succeeded, at least for the small number of people who bothered to switch over from the opening of college football season.

As an address to the nation as a whole, intended to start bridging divides and save democracy, it was a Kabul-sized catastrophe.

And there’s no walking back from that.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11174473/Biden-damage-control-demonizing-half-Americas-voters-JONATHAN-BRONITSKY.html

There are 3.6k comments. Highest rated..

This can’t be walked back. Scary part is the Democratic party allowed it to happen which pretty much tells me, they’re all deranged. Common sense is severely lacking in the liberal mind and the Democratic party is now an extremist organization. Vote this garbage out in November.

and guess who replied to that? Someone going as ‘Carolina Girl’. Remember that nic? What are the odds?

The thing is, Dems have gotten so comfortable with the fact that 99% of the media will cover for them or “explain what they really meant”, that they literally have no filter anymore. They believe that if something backfires, the media will just clean up the mess. Well, it has been that way. However, this is a step beyond. It’s unlikely that even the media can spin this away.

As with all of these schemes there is always a fatal flaw, otherwise some wiseacre would have already done it before.

The flaw is that Gallium is EXTREMELY rare and therefore VERY expansive. It is a byproduct of Silver Zinc extraction at the Broken Hill mines in Western New South Wales in Oz. Of the hundred of thousand tonnes of zinc and around several thousand tonnes of silver produced annually at Broken Hill they get a pickle Jar full of Gallium as a byproduct.
A VERY expensive pickle jar I might say!

    Great piece from Lee Smith

Why Did the FBI Raid Mar-a-Lago?

The Mar-a-Lago raid feels like Russiagate because, well, it is Russiagate: a conspiracy theory weaponized by the country’s courtier class to serve the interests of a delirious and deracinated oligarchy, spawning daily prophesies of doom fed by an endless supply of national security “leaks” asserting that the former commander-in-chief really was and is a secret Russian agent. And proof of the president’s treachery, chant the priestly keepers of the “collusion” mysteries, will soon be revealed to the public. It is their blanket justification for every past crime and every new banana republic-style abuse of power, accompanied by a drumbeat of ever more outlandish and violent threats.

It is in this context that the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago should be understood: Government records and reports from political and media operatives and bureaucrats who previously starred in Russiagate I give evidence that the FBI raided Trump’s home to seize documents exposing the crimes that the FBI and Justice Department have been committing since 2016. The fact that Russiagate shows no signs of ending anytime soon is bad news for the republic, betrayed from within by a performative elite whose ability to project power outside its gilded bubble requires a steady supply of paranoia, fear, and hysteria.

Studying dopamine on Huberman Labs podcasts. People have a dopamine baseline that will spike and drive a person to a goal. Then recede back to the baseline.

Drugs can spike the baseline x 10 and then drop the baseline to a lower level that is more difficult to work with.

Exercise, Chocolates, and Sex will all spike the dopamine baseline 1.5 to 2.5 times. And recede within 30 minutes to an hour.

Cold Showers can spike dopamine for 3 hours.

The human body needs a dopamine rest. Exercise and rest. Work and Play. Argue and apologize are common events. Having a cell phone on the majority of the day interrupts dopamine homeostasis. Putting the phone down for a few hours a day will make a person happier over the long run in their life.

Periods of resistance, sadness, and lack are necessary to make dopamine goals function well. If you exercise you need to enjoy the exercise to make the dopamine function efficiently.

Dopamine is the happiness over time molecule.

    Rant…

Why in 2022 do we need to send humans to the moon?

What are they going to do there?

Currently there are rovers on mars and they are doing whatever they do. Technically it is difficult as because of the distance depending on the earth and mars orbits it can take up to 15 minutes for a command to a rover on mars to be acted upon.

A moon rover responds in a couple of seconds… 186000 miles per second is speed of wifi to moon.

Manned mission to the moon? Waste of fucking time, resources and money.

OH SORRY!!!! I retract my statement. The Mission to the moon is VITAL!!!!!!

Fuck hubble and the james web telescope. They are in orbit around the earth so they are above the atmosphere and they are looking out at the cosmos with their asses pointing at earth to minimise electromagnetic pollution from earth

If you want or need a radio telescope that is shielded from earth’s pollution put it on the dark side of the moon. Which isnt exactly dark. .

What is it with Andean folks that makes them do really dumb things? Like living 4,000 M above sea level for the fun of it, in a wind blowing at a constant 50 MPH at 45F…. in the summer? Windchill anyone? Hell before they even think about building a hovel, they first build a wall of stones (no wood up there as it hardly ever rains and they are above the snowline in winter). The wall is to shelter behind as they contemplate their hovel drawings and choose which rocks they are going to build it out of. Then they have to handle the local witches who seem to get off on making the average folks lives even more hellish. No wonder the local folks are still driven to a little covert child sacrifice on the side, still when tourists aren’t looking to placate the nasty pagan gods!

Landing at 4,000 metres means that your airplane hardly slows down from cruising speed when it hits the ground. Terrifying to behold, as I saw through the leaky pressurisation grommets around the door seals, that really didn’t do all that much sealing! Thought that the tyres were going to fly off their rims landing in La Paz!
Don’t get me started on the Bolivian hobby of le Revolution. The total is around 67 since the 1870s I believe. The record is THREE revolutions in a single day! Seriously. These folks get off on their revolutions! They love ’em!

California Democrats Pass Legislation to Create Transgender Sanctuary State

California Democrats recently voted to approve legislation that will make California a sanctuary state for transgender youth and their parents fleeing prosecution for child abuse in other states.

The legislation, Senate Bill 107, passed with a 30-9 vote along party lines in the state Senate on Aug. 31, the last day of the legislative session. Sen. Bob Hertzberg (D-Los Angeles) did not vote. California Gov. Newsom has until Sept. 30 to either veto the “gender-affirming health care” bill or sign it into law.

The vote comes in the wake of a federal court ruling on Aug. 26 that struck down a Biden Administration mandate that forced doctors to perform medical procedures, including those related to gender transitions, against their religious beliefs.

During discussion of the bill, Sen. Melissa Melendez (R-Lake Elsinore) questioned whether supporters, including Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), author of the bill, have done enough research on the effects of transgender medical interventions on children, pointing out that some European countries such as Sweden appear to be shifting away from the “gender-affirming care” model for minors.

Referring to Chloe Cole, who at 15 years old had her breasts removed and now regrets it, Melendez said some of the procedures are irreversible.

Cole, now 18, has testified twice against SB 107, most recently at a senate judiciary committee on Aug. 30, the day before the bill was passed on the Senate floor.

“My parents were told that the options were transition or suicide. They complied because they were not offered any other treatment solution for my distress. My distraught parents wanted me alive, so they listened to my doctors. I was placed on puberty blockers and testosterone after expressing my gender dysphoria to my therapist, and I was approved for a double mastectomy all by the age of 15,” she said.

“Who here really believes that as a 15-year-old I should have had my healthy breasts removed, or that should have been an option?” she continued. “SB 107 will open the floodgates for confused children like me to get the gender interventions that many so regret. I am the canary in the coal mine.”

Erin Friday, a California leader of Our Duty, an international organization that views transgender ideology as “social contagion” and rejects the notion people can be trapped in the wrong bodies, has testified several times against SB 107. She warned that SB 107 would only worsen the “largest medical scandal in history.”

Friday, an attorney and mother of a teen who once suffered from Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD) but no longer identifies as trans, said that if SB 107 passes the state would decide which parent, if either, would get custody of an out-of-state child seeking medical interventions.

“This law entices minors seeking gender interventions against their parents’ wishes to run away to California,” she told the committee. “So, if parents disagree on whether or not to permit their 14-year-old daughter to have her breasts removed, and the offending parent and child arrive in California, California will decide which parent gets custody. We parents know who will win that battle. Pursuant to Family Code 3428, it is not kidnapping if the non-custodial parent absconds with the gender-confused child to California.”

CW is this what that zerohedge piece was saying?

    https://www.19fortyfive.com/2022/09/chinas-economy-is-headed-for-one-of-the-largest-meltdowns-ever/

China’s Economy Is Headed For One Of The Largest Meltdowns Ever

To stimulate the economy, China’s regulators are forcing Chinese banks to meet high loan quotas.

To hit the difficult-to-attain targets, ingenious bankers are lending and simultaneously allowing borrowers to deposit identical amounts with their institutions at identical interest rates.

Companies no longer want money to launch new projects. Pessimism about the economy dominates thinking in Chinese boardrooms and throughout the rest of society.

The big story is not that the Chinese economy is falling apart. It is, at least apart from the export sector. The big story is that China’s stimulus efforts, so successful in the past in jumpstarting growth, are no longer working. The country’s economy is, in a word, exhausted.

  99. eaglesoars
    102 | September 5, 2022 9:43 pm

    https://instapundit.com/541060/#respond

In the past, when the economy look fatigued, China’s business community could count on the central government to create growth with massive stimulus programs. That is, after all, how former Premier Wen Jiabao avoided contraction in China as the rest of the world suffered during the 2008 downturn.

Wen went big. In the half decade beginning in 2009, Beijing added an amount of credit equal to that in the entire U.S. banking system. The premier flooded an economy that at the end of 2008 was not even a third the size of America’s.

Wen went too big. Anne Stevenson-Yang of J Capital Research tells me that the Chinese have long compared their country to a train whose last car is on fire. The train has to go fast to make sure the flames blow backwards. As soon as the train slows, flames engulf the passenger cars.

“That is China and debt,” Stevenson-Yang, also author of China Alone: The Emergence from and Potential Return to Isolation, says. “If you add enough money to the system, you can keep refinancing the old debt, but you have to add money exponentially.”

The country has been exponentially incurring indebtedness, perhaps creating debt about seven times faster than it has been producing nominal gross domestic product.

Nobody knows how much debt China has accumulated, but total country indebtedness could be an amount equal to 350% of GDP. Because of the infamous “hidden debt” and Beijing’s misreporting—exaggeration—of economic output, the percentage could even be higher.

However much debt there is, senior Chinese leaders are facing problems they cannot solve, something evident from, among other things, defaults by large property developers, the so-called “mortgage boycotts” of homeowners refusing to pay loans, and bank runs.

The Communist Party knows—and has known for a long time—the game could not go on forever. Wen Jiabao himself in 2007 talked about what has become known as the economy’s “Four Uns.” Growth then, he said, was “unstable, unbalanced, uncoordinated, and unsustainable.”

    What happens now?

So how’s that One Belt, One Road thing working out?

NY Rule Leak: ‘Anyone with gun presumed to have it illegally’ – Guilty until proven innocent

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has directed the state’s law enforcement officers to assume “anyone carrying” a gun is doing so “unlawfully until proven otherwise,” according to an internal government memo leaked Thursday.

The Aug. 2022 memo entitled “New York State Restrictions on Carrying Concealed Firearms” provides a list of “key points” for law enforcement to know, including “anyone carrying a firearm is presumed to be carrying unlawfully until proven otherwise.”

The memo was originally obtained by Project Veritas, a news agency known for its undercover reporting.

“Officers may stop an individual when the officer has reasonable suspicion that an individual is carrying a firearm and may frisk that individual since the officer has reasonable suspicion that the individual is armed and dangerous,” the memo states.

The memo follows the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that New York State was violating the Second Amendment by requiring concealed-carry license applicants prove they have a worthy need to carry guns in public.

The memo addresses the Supreme Court’s ruling directly and asserts that “recent changes in law do not impact the way officers conduct investigative encounters.”

Gun rights advocacy group Gun Owners of America slammed the latest gun control measure as a “dangerous policy.”

“This is a dangerous policy that will lead to unnecessary confrontations between law enforcement and law abiding citizens just trying to exercise their constitutional rights,” the group tweeted.

Officials announced this week that new “Gun Free Zone” signs will be displayed at “every entry point” to Times Square in New York City beginning on Thursday, Sept. 1. The “gun free zone” designation comes from a law signed in July that limits where guns can be carried in public.

China’s Economy Is Headed For One Of The Largest Meltdowns Ever

To ‘stimulate’ ahhhemmmm, the economy, China’s regulators are forcing Chinese banks to meet high loan quotas.
To hit the difficult-to-attain targets, ingenious bankers are lending and simultaneously allowing borrowers to deposit identical amounts with their institutions at identical interest rates.
    Yeah that’ll work.
    NOT !
Banks meet State stipulated loan quota rates by LENDING to customers, and then quietly allowing the LOAN applicants to DEPOSIT the same funds back into the bank at the same rates as those they borrowed the money from the bank in the first place. Central government is happy that the banks have met their loan rates to customers. The customers are happy that they deposited the funds back with the banks at NO COST to them, as borrowing and deposit rates are identical. Interest rates on borrowed funds by customers is identical to the deposit rates with the bank. Everyone is happy.

The government can show that it is doing something by ‘encouraging banks to loan funds’ to customers. Customers are moderately happy that their interest on borrowed funds is identical to the banks’ interest and it’s not actually costing them anything.

And so around and around this fiscal ‘merry-go-round’ goes. Nobody loses ‘theoretically’, although the banks are actually losing their fees. The customers see interest costs going out, on their bank loans, but that is exactly balanced by income on their loans flowing back to their bank accounts. Alas the customers’ borrowed funds don’t actually DO anything either, as it just goes straight back to the banks. Fiscal drag anyone? No additional people get employed and no products get manufactured.

The usual internal ‘smoke and mirror’ property market that makes up 40% of the Chinese economic activity, built on Provincial funds from businesses confiscated and then paid to Central Government at zero interest, and paid back in a lump sum at Chinese New Year to business and back into workers’ pockets. Doesn’t work so well anymore. Most of these ghost tower blocks without even plumbing and wiring installed, are just ‘make work schemes’ to forestall the rising of the populous. That whole Ponzi scheme has finally run its course it appears.

The Central Government bureaucratic wombles are however still happy because they have met their stipulated Bank Loan TARGETS, and they are still pulling in a salary made up of internally generated ‘fairy dust’. This is some gig that the Central Government ‘economists’ (and I use that word advisedly) have thought up. A huge circular money transfer machine that makes absolutely NOTHING, whilst it generates bureaucratic paper that shows ‘ACTIVITY of the bureaucrats. Just keep your eyes closed and disregard all of the money leaking out of the system, with fiscal drag, bureaucratic salaries and zero profits on invested funds.

Sounds like a really great way of painting the Chinese economy into a corner!

You betcha it’s going to be massive. Having China fall to bits before our eyes, has the potential to wreck the world economy and give us another taste of 1929 all over again. As with the Depression of 1929 – 1936 the seeds of a world war were planted and bore fruit in 1939. Given with what is happening post Covid, the Globe is playing with fire with Agenda 2030, throwing gasoline all over the place.

If he is correct, and he’s VERY well connected through family ties back to the top 1% in China, we all have plenty to worry about in the West.

    Hunter Is the Good Biden
Written by Jason Morgan | Remnant Correspondent, TOKYO

The son of the warlock who spread his talons and cast a spell from his satanic podium last Thursday.
Hunter Biden has been in the news again recently. Not for his fingerpainting this time—for a movie that has been made about his life. “My Son Hunter,” which is being distributed by Breitbart News, is set for release on September 7, 2022.
If the trailer is any indication, “My Son Hunter” will be a recreation of what it would look like if all the horrendous photos and videos on Hunter Biden’s misplaced laptops had been strung together and set within the context of political events. The churning, psychedelic plotline is disconcerting in the extreme, but the nausea one feels watching the trailer is not due to art for art’s sake but to art’s imitating life. The pathetic shallowness that is Hunter Biden, the meth teeth and prostitutes and cocaine, is not fiction in the slightest. It is who the son of the illegal occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is throughout his every wasted day.
Joe Biden, is infinitely worse than “the smartest guy he knows,” the clearly idiotic Hunter.
Flipping through the scenes of Hunter Biden’s existence takes a strong stomach and a fortified psychological constitution. The man is debauched, depraved, disgraced, and diseased. What’s worse, he has traded access to his famous father for the sexual, financial, and narcotic favors which have been thrown his way. Hunter Biden is essentially a reverse pimp. He sells fake intimacy for money, but he’s the one who ends up getting used. And one suspects he kind of likes it. Hunter Biden is, by every measure I can think of, a disgusting human being.
But let’s not let “My Son Hunter” distract us from what’s really going on. Yes, Hunter Biden is a traitor and a lowlife. But he’s the good Biden. His father, Joe Biden, is infinitely worse than “the smartest guy he knows,” the clearly idiotic Hunter.
It’s true, for example, that Hunter Biden was on the take from bigwigs in Ukraine and China. Those payments, disguised as business transactions, were transparently in exchange for face time with “the Big Guy.” You don’t have to be Perry Mason to figure out what’s going on. Hunter sold out his country and his name for Mammon. A trial is too good for people like Hunter Biden—drumhead justice at dawn will do.
Heck, long before Hunter became the poster boy problem child, his dad was “high-tech lynching” Clarence Thomas.
But Hunter was just the disposable middleman. The real corruption comes when “the Big Guy” gets involved. And when that happens all bets are off. Heck, long before Hunter became the poster boy problem child, his dad was “high-tech lynching” Clarence Thomas. And one can hardly blame Hunter for pop’s (not to be confused with Corn Pop) surrender to the Taliban, a ragtag force of Stone Age cave dwellers whose most potent weapon, apart from rusty Kalashnikovs from the Soviet era, would appear to be b.o. Not sure the average Talibanner is as ripe in his greasy robe as Hunter must be after a long night on the town in Beijing, but at any rate the ignominious retreat from Afghanistan was “the Big Guy’s” canvas, not Hunter’s.
Afghanistan brings into even sharper focus why Hunter is the good Biden. Joe Biden is the manager of American decline (as was his boss when he was vice-president, the highest office which Joe Biden has ever legitimately held). His task is much more complicated than was Obama’s, however. Obama—who has yet to produce a paper version of his birth certificate—had only to curtsy from afar as the People’s Republic of China came drooling and snarling (and, yes, spitting and breaking in line) onto the world stage. Biden is in a much stickier wicket. Biden has to fake-grapple with Beijing, to put on a good show before the People’s Republic of China—Biden’s owner—finally gets to clasp the brass ring and escort the Americans out of the theater. Free Wuhan virus for everyone in the audience.
There are hundreds of millions of people in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and a lot of other places (including, yes, China and even North Korea) who would prefer that a nuclear war in the western Pacific not be the price to pay for Joe Biden’s having cashed in on the American endgame.
Maybe you like the American Empire. Maybe you don’t.
In Ukraine, too, Hunter was, again, just the self-pimping pimp who got a cut of the cash flow for doing his debasing political gigolo work. It was “the Big Guy” who bought off the Ukrainian justice department (yes, that’s an oxymoron) by leveraging American taxpayer dollars and then bragging about it in public while the cameras rolled. That was just the warmup. Biden (and by that I mean the WestExec business-casual fascists who write his speeches) is coordinating the steady expansion of the American weaponry outlet mall in a country whose political system is to the United States what a deck of cards is to a blackjack dealer in Las Vegas. Ukraine is the new Vietnam, the new Central America, a bonanza for con artists, gun-runners, drug dealers, and human traffickers—and that’s just what’s happening inside the CIA. American voters and taxpayers, most of whom seem to think Ukraine is some kind of perennial underdog sports team for which one must cheer or else be thought a heartless monster, have no idea what is going on. Some of them are watching “My Son Hunter,” though, and saying, “Ooooh, that Hunter is a bad dude.”
Absolutely true. But not just because of the whoring and the carousing. Not nearly. Hunter facilitated evils which no cinematic release could ever convey.
In early September 2022, “Dark Brandon” gave a speech, in his role as “president,” against the hellish backdrop of an uplit blood-red building barred and blocked with goth shadows. It was horrifying. “PedoHitler” was the reaction on Twitter.
Speaking of evil, there’s something else to bring up, something that will be unpopular in some quarters. Hunter Biden, on my view, is probably under the influence of evil spirits. I would not be surprised if he had sold his soul to the devil in exchange for one more hit on a bong at a party with Ukrainian gangsters (or Chinese ones—who can keep up?). But morons like Hunter Biden are a dime a dozen for Lucifer. They are roped as easily as dead steers. They are born bottom-dwellers, people who never get farther in the dark kingdom than the sex and drugs and money with which Hunter has already wasted his life.
Joe Biden is under the influence of demons, too, but he’s much higher up on the food chain. In early September 2022, “Dark Brandon” gave a speech, in his role as “president,” against the hellish backdrop of an uplit blood-red building barred and blocked with goth shadows. It was horrifying. “PedoHitler” was the reaction on Twitter. I can see what they mean. Biden is a sex fiend, yes. (But don’t expect the FBI to go raiding any archives to get the records on “the Big Guy’s” hair-sniffing and chest-rubbing.) And he’s also a power-mad racist. So no argument with “PedoHitler” on substance. But Joe Biden spreads out his talon-like arms and casts a warlock spell from the satanic podium on a country which has already sacrificed more than sixty-three million unborn children on the altar of the Democrat Party. Hitler managed only six million, and most of them were adults. Ask yourself—if you were the devil, whose work would you admire more?
As proof I offer you this: even Pope Francis loves Biden. Might as well have a certificate from the underworld written in molten sulfur.
Hunter Biden is small beer. Joe Biden is the one performing a black mass and calling it a “presidential address.”
The United States is governed by more than just the usual cabal of sociopaths. Every country is governed by one of those. The United States, under the fake “president” Joseph Robinette Biden, is barreling toward World War III—which will make even the Democrat Party’s bloodthirstiness seem tame—and is doing so under the direction of a man who is clearly an instrument of Hell itself.
Don’t believe me? As proof I offer you this: even Pope Francis loves Biden. Might as well have a certificate from the underworld written in molten sulfur.
Hunter Biden is a tattooed creep sponging off the government. So what? I knew a hundred of those in grad school. Walk through the streets of New York City to meet a thousand more. That’s not where the real problem is at.
Joe Biden is on another level of bad than his “smartest guy in the room” son.
Don’t lose sight of it: Hunter is the good Biden.

She lives in Annapolis so we don’t see each other much but we talk all the time. Mid-50s, still dresses like a hippie. Been divorced for decades, never remarried. Nobody really serious, so she has a lot of ‘dating stories’. She encountered this guy, nice looking, intelligent, who saw her at work and asked for her number. She thought it was about a job, so she gave it to him. Then, of course, she researched him online to make sure he’s not a serial murderer or something. No social media presence she can find.

He calls and asks her out for a drink. Wasn’t about her work. THEN he asks her who she voted for.

    Trump. Twice.

The next thing she hears – at full volume – is that she’s a fascist and racist who hates humanity and wants to put people on trains.

She told him “Well, it’s a good thing you called so you didn’t have to find out while we were having drinks at a bar” and hung up.

A provider can lock your phone? This is a comment over at Instapundit

Last week the subject of telephone bills came up. My son spends about $40 per month and we pay AT&T close to $200 per month. So, I called AT&T and asked them why I was paying so much. They informed me that I had the best service and I had unlimited data. I explained that I don’t use any data and I wanted my plan changed to bring the bill down to the $40 dollar range. They were not able to offer a “valued” customer that type of rate. This valued customer started shopping around and found a plan at Consumer Ceiiular in the $30 range that accommodates two lines, unlimited talk and text, and data limited to 1 something (I wasn’t listening, mostly because I don’t use the data, so I actually don’t care). We headed to our closest Consumer Cellular dealer which happens to be at the local Target. The young man was very helpful and we were about to close the deal when he said “are your phones unlocked”. Honestly, I didn’t know they could lock your telephone. Now we have always bought our telephones outright and were confident that they were unlocked. WRONG!. 5 days later, hours on the phone with AT&T and one trip to their store (which is 30 miles from my house) and we FINALLY have unlocked telephones and can switch providers. I suspect AT&T makes the process of changing carriers difficult on purpose.

Document on foreign nation’s nuclear capabilities found by FBI at Mar-a-Lago: report

FBI agents who searched former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home found a document detailing a foreign government’s nuclear capabilities and other military defenses, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

The document containing the nuclear information was found during the Aug. 8 search that was authorized by an FBI affidavit that has now been released with redactions. The sources did not disclose to the Post the identity of the foreign government.

The Post had reported in August that the FBI was searching in part for documents containing nuclear information, something Trump later dismissed as a “hoax.”

More than two dozen environmental organizations petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency to ban the use of natural gas for home heating nationwide, arguing the federal agency must regulate “deadly pollution from heating appliances.”

The petition, sponsored by the Sierra Club, claims fossil fuel-fired home furnaces, water heaters, clothes dryers and stoves emit enough nitrogen dioxide (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2) that they must be classified as “new stationary sources” of air pollutants, placing them in the same regulatory regime as power plants and factories.

The petition resembles – but goes beyond Gov. Jared Polis’ Greenhouse Gas Roadmap for a clean heat program, a key component of efforts to transition to a natural gas-free heating economy.

“Gas heating appliances, such as water heaters, furnaces, boilers, stoves, and clothes dryers represent about 80% of fossil fuel-fired heating appliances and emit the majority of appliance pollution, including both climate-disrupting GHG emissions and pollutants that directly impact human health,” the petition says.

“The data is incontrovertible: heating appliances in residential and commercial buildings contribute significantly to pollution that endangers public health and welfare. The emissions from these sources are major drivers of the dual crises of climate change and unclean air,” the petition adds.

Some critics described the petition as a sham and excuse to go after carbon dioxide emissions, with regulation of nitrogen dioxide as the vehicle to accomplish that goal.

The petition’s reading would force the EPA to set NOx standards that would effectively ban the use of natural gas in all new construction within a year after the regulation is implemented. Even existing gas appliances would have to be replaced eventually – at the end of their life cycle or when they break down.

Trump’s Truth Social barred from Google Play store over content moderation concerns

Truth Social, the would-be Twitter competitor created by Trump Media and Technology Group, remains unavailable on the Google Play store.

Google said the app lacks effective systems for moderating user-generated content, which violates the store’s terms of service.

“On Aug. 19, we notified Truth Social of several violations of standard policies in their current app submission and reiterated that having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of our terms of service for any app to go live on Google Play,” the tech company, which is owned by Alphabet, told CNBC in a statement Tuesday.

Axios first reported the Google statement.

The restriction means that Android users, who make up 44% of smartphone users in the U.S., can’t download the app. Google will not let the app go live until the content issues are addressed. Truth Social acknowledged Google’s concerns and said it would work on addressing these issues, according to Axios.

Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes told a different story. The former lawmaker, who was one of former President Donald Trump’s staunchest allies in Congress, said the decision is up to Google and not dependent on Truth Social’s policies.

“When are we going to be available on Android? Well, look, that’s up to the Google Play store. We’re waiting on them to approve us, I don’t know what’s taking so long,” Nunes said on the “Just the News Not Noise” podcast. “It sure would be nice if they would approve us.”

Indict for WHAT?? And how the fuck would Barr know what the DOJ does or doesn’t have?

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday on FNC’s “America’s Newsroom” that the Department of Justice is “very close” to the point of having the evidence to indict former President Donald Trump.

Co-host Dana Perino asked, “Do you have a view on how it ends?”

Barr said, “As I’ve said all along, there are two questions. Will the government be able to make out a technical case? Will they have evidence by which that they could indict somebody on, including him? That’s the first question, and I think they are getting very close to that point, frankly.”

Barr had more evidence in the 2020 election fraud but abstained due to technicalities. Both Barr and McConnel have a Fauci like love for their positions of authority and in guiding the nation as elder, wiser statemen. None of them realize how corrupt they are. All three are willing to accept corruption and think they can guide it with hubris.

California Government Recommends Purchasing A Giant Hamster Wheel To Charge Your Electric Car

With skyrocketing costs and grid failures across California, the Californian government is recommending everyone purchase a giant human-sized hamster wheel to generate electricity to charge their electric cars.

“Electric cars are admittedly a bit less functional without electricity,” Governor Gavin Newsom in a statement. “So, the other day I had this great idea. You peasants can just generate your own electricity on massive spinning wheels, just like hamsters! You all don’t have anything important to do anyway, I assume.”

The new wheel, currently being developed by top engineers working for the State of California, will stand eight feet tall and look incredibly stupid. Early users report that a full charge requires the equivalent of a 38-mile sprint.

“As soon as little Timmy gets home from daycare, I just put him on the wheel,” said local dad Jon Bennett. “It’s too much for one person, so we get the whole family involved. I even put my mother-in-law in there, but it’s mostly just to watch. She’s so slow with her bad hip.”

The wheel will also be employed in Europe where certain areas project the cost of electricity for a single car charge to reach one hundred euros.

At publishing time, California announced a high-end luxury wheel, with a lower-friction wheel and a feed trough to keep people going.

    This thread

    https://instapundit.com/541117/#respond from ‘Pam Page’

It’s standard to all cellphone companies. Your phone is locked to their network unless you go outside the company and buy an unlocked phone. They can give you the unlock code and process (some phones you can buy unlock codes on ebay). But, they sometimes make it very difficult to get your unlock code from the company though they are legally obligated to give it to you if your phone is paid off.

now that you mention it – back in the day when I was a software developer in telecom..long before cell phones, just land lines…you could choose your own provider. And you could switch over any time you liked to whatever provider you liked. It made billing a total nightmare, but that was the law. But what happened is that AT&T would look at phones numbers serviced by MCI and just file a provider change to get their business (it was called a PIC switch). People noticed that altho they had chosen MCI, they started getting bills from AT&T or vice versa. It was the wild west. I was responsible for the software that tracked this crap so I saw the numbers. Carnage. Talk about pissed off customers. Finally somebody got to the right committee in Congress and they instituted a PIC lock rule. Thank you God. My entire team was ready to open their veins. Oh wait. Lookie here! These ‘Pride’ events targeting children for sexual perversion are taking some hits. [How does a state agency get involved is this sewage anyway?]

Boise Pride says it’s postponing children’s drag show due to increased safety concerns

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Pride Fest says it’s postponing its drag show featuring children due to increased safety concerns.

Pride organizers say the decision was “very difficult.”

“While the vast majority of our sponsors and supporters have voiced their support for the Boise Pride Festival and the Drag Kids program, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone this performance due to increased safety concerns. The health and well-being of the kids, their parents, and the attendees of the Festival are our priority.”

The move comes after the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare wrote in a letter that it’s no longer sponsoring this year’s Boise Pride Fest.

In a letter, director Dave Jeppesen wrote to Pride director Donald Williamson that the Department of Health and Welfare, Project Filter, Idaho HITV, and the STD and Hepatitis Prevention and Care Program would no longer participate.

Jeppesen says the state made a move to avoid confusion.

“DHW’s sponsorship of Boise Pride 2022 has led to some confusion about whether DHW endorses specific event activities involving minors during this event,” he said. “To avoid any confusion regarding DHW’s support of such activities, DHW is withdrawing both of its orange level sponsorships and Project Filter will no longer be supporting a booth at the event this weekend.”

Also on Thursday, Idaho Power said it too was no longer participating or sponsoring the event.

DO NOT TELL ME YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF SCARBOROUGH AND MIKA.

That is a cultural touchstone for the idiotocracy of America.

Seriously, what use is my purpose on the interfuckingnet pointing out the threats and stupidity of the decline of Western Civilization then I may as well confine myself to doing my laundry.

Which reminds me. I have clothes in the dryer I have to put away.

As for Russel Brand..a so called comedian – but all comedians are political pundits disguising themselves as laugh machines. He’s a Brit. And a highly intelligent person. I’m guessing his IQ is WAY off the charts. He fell into his ‘role’ and it makes him a ton of money but I get the feeling he’s not particularly happy with it.

There is a lot of shit being thrown at Britain and the monarchy on social media.

Most of it being about colonisation.

Yep Britain ruled the world once, brought civilisation to many uncivilised countries.

All the venom directed at the British seems to come from either people of colour that were decendents of families from countries colonised by Britain or Irish.

How long can anyone hold a grudge?

Hey I hate the French because in 1066 they invaded England and murdered Kink Harold by shooting him in the eye with an arrow.

I dream of a time when over one third of the world population lives in harmony, shares a common second language and gets together to compete in sports regularly without politics being involved.

    Is such a thing possible?

Membership of this community is voluntary, all countries involved can leave at any time.

On the flip side of the coin a country can be expelled from this happy group of member states if they mis-behave.

As a side note, there may be localised shit fits, fights, threats of nuclear oblivion between individual members of this élite club but they are tolerated. Until one of them flings a nuke at the other….

OK so far this club has 56 countries that have a combined population of 2.4 Billion people.

Never heard of it have you?

P.S. The U.S.A is technically eligible to join, but as I said earlier membership is on a purely VOLUNTARY basis.

Unfortunately, it’s hitting private owners too, but still, a little schadenfreud is not out of order.

Then: Commercial Investors Are Sucking Up All American Housing! Now: They’re Losing Their Shirts!

    https://www.battleswarmblog.com/?p=52410

One thing I was unaware of: Commercial investors in residential real estate fund their purchases through variable interest rate debt.
OpenDoor’s outstanding debt balance “has ballooned from $271 million to $6.1 billion.”
Every point rise in interest rates costs OpenDoor $40 million more in interest rate payments.
“OpenDoor is truly a modern day house of cards. The company’s revenue grew from $1.8 billion in 2018 to over $8 billion in 2021. To grow they scaled, going from 18 markets to 44 markets in the U.S. In those four years, the company went from flipping 7,000 homes a year back in 2018 to now flipping 21, 000 homes most recently in 2021.”
“Despite OpenDoor’s top-line growth, the company has incurred loss after loss after loss, each bigger than the last, even in a strong rebound year in 2021. Where the company sold a record number of homes, OpenDoor incurred a record loss of over $600 million.”
Some math snipped. “OpenDoor would need to sell roughly sixty thousand homes a year just to break even with how much it costs the company to exist in its current burn rate. Every time the interest rate goes up a single point, OpenDoor needs to sell an additional 2,000 homes in order to offset that additional $40 million.”
The end of the video touches on how Zillow lost $881 million by trusting an algorithm that had them paying above-marker prices.

Homo Sapiens were sharper than Neanderthals.

Modern humans and Neanderthals split into separate lineages about 400,000 years ago, with our ancestors remaining in Africa and the Neanderthals moving north into Europe. About 60,000 years ago, a mass migration of modern humans out of Africa brought the two species face-to-face once more and they interbred – modern humans of non-African heritage carry 1-4% of Neanderthal DNA.

    Therefore white Europeans are stupid.

During the late 19th Century The Viceroy of India was having religious troubles with the locals … again … ! The problem was the rules surrounding surtee (the burning of wives when their husbands died) and suchlike. The Viceroy knew that the locals were looking to pick a fight so he appeared to comply with the Indian Law covering Surtee. He did however insist on British Law being given equal consideration.

He declared that the Practice of Surtee under religious law in India was available to family members of a recently deceased male family member, Just as long as British Law covering murder was equally practiced. The Viceroy declared… ” ….please feel free to build your Surtee fires. I will also build sets of gallows along side…”

That was the end of Surtee!

Air NZ was training aircrew to fly the Boeing 737 and based their simulators out of Christchurch in the South Island. The Kiwi crews training were always rostered to train at ungodly hours of the night to allow the Indians to train during the more respectable hours of the day. I was on rostered training from 8PM to 11PM, just as the last Indian crew from All India Airways was finishing up for the day. It was summer and HOT and the SIM had been working all day and was hot and smelly. The Kiwi Instructor had the SIM door open and we were watching through the door wondering when the last Indian crew was going to finish. The Indian skipper was a high Caste Indian and his co-pilot was a low caste. Apparently the co-pilot had aced his training program and the skipper was having a handful managing an engine fire as well as multiple electrical problems during an ILS (Instrument Landing System) down to very low minimums with a cross wind to make things even more difficult.
So help me the co-pilot just sat there mute as the skipper was beginning to lose it because the Co-pilot was low caste and the skipper wouldn’t take any real or implied criticism from someone so lowly!

FINALLY the Kiwi Instructor leaned over tapped the Indian skipper on the shoulder, and suggested that maybe he should maybe sorta start to put out the raging engine fire. So help me he yelled out CAN’T YOU SEE I’M FLYING ON INSTRUMENTS?” The Co-pilot just looked sideways out the blank SIM side window and pretended as if it wasn’t happening!

About that stage our Kiwi crew decided that if we were ever in India we wouldn’t fly All Indian Airways …. but would hire a camel instead!

That’s true in several cultures. I remember reading reports about airline crashes in which the deciding factor was differing social classes between the pilot and co-pilot. One was Japan. The co-pilot was correct but the pilot would not take advice/instruction from him.
