So it was you ding donging my SKYPE
    🙂

I was madly tearing about trying to find a one off code from SKYPE to answer you. Trouble is I was on Mrs. AI’s school computer and it doesn’t behave when you have to go out of SKYPE and into e-mails to retrieve a code and then get back into SKYPE to actually use it.

    Grrrrrr.

I HAVE to go and buy a second computer to use down here at the beach!

    Sorry about that mate!

Oh dear. Have you seen this video?

The president took that stage at an event sponsored by The Global Fund, which does work regarding AIDS and other diseases, and things went off the rails. In this case, quite literally.

A video is circulating showing Biden appearing to be completely dazed and confused, fumbling around the stage as his handlers attempt to talk him down. Meanwhile, another man is speaking, trying to thank him for being there while the president appears to have no idea what’s happening.

He doesn’t have any idea where he is. Or who he is.

    what a cluster fuck

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta just dealt former President Donald Trump and his legal team a serious setback as they authorized the DOJ to continue combing through classified records seized after FBI agents raided his Palm Beach, Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, in early August. The ruling reverses an earlier decision by Judge Aileen M. Cannon, who ruled in favor of Trump last week by allowing an independent arbiter known as a special master to review the documents before the DOJ could look at them.

This new decision dramatically scales back the power of the special master and allows the Department of Justice unfettered access to the classified documents.

So I mentioned that in one of Julia Child’s books there were pics of her kitchen in Paris and it was the size of a closet?

Estelle Louise Fletcher was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Her parents were Deaf; she was introduced to acting by the aunt who taught her, at age 8, to speak. Fletcher attended the University of North Carolina; after taking a cross-country trip, she became stranded in Los Angeles and soon stumbled into acting.

The young actress made her screen debut in 1958 with appearances on “Playhouse 90,” among other television shows. The next year she guested on “Maverick,” “77 Sunset Strip” and “The Untouchables.” She appeared on “Perry Mason” twice in 1960, but by 1963 she had abandoned her career, at least for the time being, after making her feature debut in “A Gathering of Eagles.”

I have never understood what it is actors actually do. I SEE it with good ones – Meryl Streep in Sophie’s Choice – on stage with a theater group at Carnegie Mellon doing a Midsummer’s Night Dream – Al Pacino in anything – Elizabeth Taylor in Butterfield 8 – but I’ve never quite ‘got’ what it is they’re actually DOING. All I know is that I’m utterly captivated and never understood how.

    And Jimmy Stewart. Vivien Leigh.

Ok, very strange problem here. It’s with the TV in the living room, no other TV affected.

When Hubby turned in last nite, everything was fine. I got up this morning, turned it on about 10:30 and – no audio, video is perfect.

Checked the bedroom TV, it’s fine.

We use Roku, a streaming service.

Back to the living room. Roku home screen is the display. Select the Youtube channel again and notice that the ‘swoop’ sound you hear when it launches is audible. As are the audio cues heard when you push a button on the remote.

So it’s not the TV. Is it just the shows under the Youtube banner? Let’s try Netflix.

No audio on Netflix. No audio anywhere. Except the Youtube swoop.

We’re at a loss. Any ideas? It’s a Sony TV, don’t ask me to look for the remote, I haven’t seen it since we moved.

I took a week off and went hiking around Königsee (not far from Hitler’s Eagles Nest) and my joints are paying the price. Had some good weather in the end but traffic was hell due to the Oktoberfest in Münich.

Last Saturday as we got settled it was raining hard below 1000 meters and snowing above. Down the road from us some college student from Hannover went up into the mountains alone and eventually called for help. They went looking for him in the morning and all the found was his rucksack. It’s been a week and another cold front was rolling in as we left today.

So you guys think Putin won’t really use his TACTICAL nukes if he looks like losing conventionally in Ukraine? We are NOT talking city killers in the Mt range, and massive nuclear strikes here. We are talking pin point tactical strikes all below 5-10 kilotons with neutron cores to maximise the initial radiological weapon power and minimise the fallout.

I fear that some ‘Einstein’ in the 5 sided puzzle palace is going to under estimate Russian resolve. Looking at the Russo-Ukraine war through Russian eyes we are talking ‘existential threat’. Try thinking like a Russian for a change. You’ll find it enlightening and frankly terrifying.

There is a serious chance of the world underestimating Russian fear and resolve, and a fool in the White House ready for that ultimate prat-fall.

As for Putin, tac nukes – yes, I have zero doubt he would use them. And be dead shortly after. Of course, if he IS terminally ill, as many seem to suspect, that’s not a big disincentive.

FBI misled judge who signed warrant for Beverly Hills seizure of $86 million in cash

The privacy invasion was vast when FBI agents drilled and pried their way into 1,400 safe-deposit boxes at the U.S. Private Vaults store in Beverly Hills.

They rummaged through personal belongings of a jazz saxophone player, an interior designer, a retired doctor, a flooring contractor, two Century City lawyers and hundreds of others.

Agents took photos and videos of pay stubs, password lists, credit cards, a prenuptial agreement, immigration and vaccination records, bank statements, heirlooms and a will, court records show. In one box, agents found cremated human remains.

Eighteen months later, newly unsealed court documents show that the FBI and U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles got their warrant for that raid by misleading the judge who approved it.

They omitted from their warrant request a central part of the FBI’s plan: Permanent confiscation of everything inside every box containing at least $5,000 in cash or goods, a senior FBI agent recently testified.

The FBI’s justification for the dragnet forfeiture was its presumption that hundreds of unknown box holders were all storing assets somehow tied to unknown crimes, court records show.

The court filings also show that federal agents defied restrictions that U.S. Magistrate Judge Steve Kim set in the warrant by searching through box holders’ belongings for evidence of crimes.

“The government did not know what was in those boxes, who owned them, or what, if anything, those people had done,” Robert Frommer, a lawyer who represents nearly 400 box holders in the class-action case, wrote in court papers.

“That’s why the warrant application did not even attempt to argue there was probable cause to seize and forfeit box renters’ property.”

After a two-year investigation that opened in 2019, leaders of the FBI’s Los Angeles office believed U.S. Private Vaults was a magnet for criminals hiding illicit proceeds in their boxes.

The business was charged with conspiracy to sell drugs and launder money.

The FBI and U.S. attorney’s office denied that they misled the judge or ignored his conditions, saying they had no obligation to tell him of the plan for indiscriminate confiscations on the blanket assumption that every customer was hiding crime-tainted assets.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said the warrants were lawfully executed “based on allegations of widespread criminal wrongdoing.”

“At no time was a magistrate misled as to the probable cause used to obtain the warrants,” she said.

U.S. Private Vaults has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money, and the investigation is continuing, she said.

The plaintiffs in the class-action suit have asked U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner to declare the raid unconstitutional. If he grants the request, it could force the FBI to return millions of dollars to box holders whose assets it has tried to confiscate.

It could also spoil an unknown number of criminal investigations by blocking prosecutors from using any evidence or information acquired in the raid, including guns and drugs.

I meant they didn’t envision them worming their way into our government. That was why they included the requirement that the president be a natural born citizen who had lived in the US for a certain number of years. That was to prevent those types from showing up and taking over.

My real point, though, was that much of the Constitution was set up to be self-enforcing. The assumption was that people would actually just follow the rules, not try to figure out ways around them.

Memphis museum cancels drag show as armed protesters show up

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — The Museum of Science & History in Memphis, Tennessee, is apologizing to guests after canceling a planned drag show Friday evening “due to the presence of armed protesters.”

The MoSH, known to many in Memphis as the Pink Palace Museum, was set to host the Memphis Proud drag show and dance party Friday. The museum has several exhibits focused on LGBTQ history this month, including an exhibit on the historic Stonewall Inn police raid and subsequent protests. The Friday drag event was billed on flyers as family-friendly.

A protest against the event was organized in the museum parking lot. Police were on scene Friday evening, and the museum cancelled all programming out of an abundance of caution.

Special Counsel Durham’s Protect-The-Establishment Approach Is Destroying The Country

Special Counsel John Durham continues to ignore the FBI’s malfeasance in the Crossfire Hurricane targeting of Donald Trump, a Friday court filing by prosecutors in the criminal case against Igor Danchenko confirms. While that approach may have been prudent and in the country’s best interests three and a half years ago, when then-Attorney General Bill Barr tasked Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia collusion hoax, it is no longer judicious.

The special counsel’s failure to appreciate this reality threatens the government’s case against Danchenko, but more significantly has spurred the Biden administration, the D.C. deep state, and partisan state officials to further weaponize the criminal justice system against their political enemies.

But despite the fact that I do agree with you on the necessity of vaccination, and that your friends are acting dangerously, you’ve burrowed so deeply in the rabbit hole of self-righteousness that you’ve come up on the wrong side.

FBI Responds to Reports That ‘SWAT Team’ Was Used to Arrest Pro-Life Activist in Front of Children

The FBI responded on Sept. 26 to media reports and claims that it sent a SWAT team to raid the Pennsylvania home of pro-life activist Mark Houck.

“There are inaccurate claims being made regarding the arrest of Mark Houck. No SWAT Team or SWAT operators were involved,” the FBI Philadelphia office told The Epoch Times. “FBI agents knocked on Mr. Houck’s front door, identified themselves as FBI agents, and asked him to exit the residence. He did so and was taken into custody without incident pursuant to an indictment.”

However, when reached for comment, the bureau didn’t directly address claims made by Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie Houck, that agents had their guns drawn and pointed them at her and Mark Houck.
    ..

See what they did here? If they allegation is false, they say so. If they don’t directly say so what do you think?

And then there is the modified, limited, hang-out quibble

“They had about five guns pointed at my husband, myself, and basically at my kids,” she said, noting that upward of 25 agents were involved in the raid. The FBI didn’t comment on the number of agents that were used in the arrest.

An unnamed FBI source told Fox News that there were possibly 15 to 20 agents, denying that 25 were there.

For background on this ‘pro-life activist’… His name is Mark Houck, he lives somewhere in Pennsylvania with his wife and 5 or 7 kids, don’t remember exactly.

As far as I can tell, he makes it a point to stand outside abortion clinics and advise patrons that they have other options. I don’t know his method, flyer or bullhorn. Whatever. Apparently, sometimes he takes at least one of the children with him.

At one clinic, a pro-abortion activist started harassing his kid and Houck shoved the person who fell down and got his feelings hurt.

That was about a year and a half ago.

So the FBI shit-canned his house with his kids in it.

Ukraine accuses Russia of Nord Stream ‘terror attack’ as gas leaks from ‘sabotaged’ pipelines send vast rings of churning bubbles up to 3000FT wide to Baltic Sea surface following ‘undersea explosions’

Three leaks were reported in Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines near Danish island last night and this morning

Pipelines are leaking gas into the Baltic Sea, with one area more than 3,000ft wide churning with bubbles

Nordic seismologists meanwhile confirmed they registered powerful underwater explosions yesterday

Polish PM said ‘we faced an act of sabotage’ while Danish PM said she doubted the damage was coincidental

Ukraine pointed the finger at Moscow, describing the incident as a ‘terrorist attack and act of aggression’

But the European Commission said it was still too early to speculate on the causes of the leaks

Leaks further hinder efforts to restart either pipeline for commercial operations and represent an escalation in the energy war between Europe and Russia

You would be stopping every hour to recharge, which would take about 45 minutes a pop, and that is absolutely not practical.”

Hoover concluded by saying, “The F-150 Lightning is more like a truck that most people use their trucks for, just to get around A to B, and not really using it to do truck things.”

“They just want something big and comfortable, and it does great at that, but as far as doing truck things, well so far just with towing, not good,” he said.

Yup. It’s fine if you want to go to Home Depot and pick up some bags of mulch.

I can do that with my SUV if I put the back seat down, though (and without having to pay $90k)

I thought of another problem while I was driving around Colorado the other day: Pretty much every charger I’ve seen is basically a parking space where you have to pull in nose-first to hook up. If you’re towing a trailer, you’d have to unhook it and drop it somewhere first. Even more time wasted.

The malefactors who orchestrated this attack in Nord Stream 2 are easy to identify. Just ask yourself WHO GAINS from this sabotage? Putin controls the gas supply and can turn it on and off at will. He doesn’t have to blow this pipeline up as he has already turned it off at source. Ask yourself who profits by REPLACING this pipeline with an alternate gas supply? That would be the USA writ large. Now ask yourself who is supplying just enough arms to Ukraine to keep the Russo-Ukrainian war bubbling along, enriching the corrupt Ukrainian administration with the 30% of arms being sold off into the Gulf States? The answer is also the USA. What possible reason would there be to keep this war going to the last Ukrainian ? The most logical answer would be the US military arms manufacturers who are currently making billions of dollars, whilst no US forces are engaged directly in the fighting. What prevented a negotiated peace between the Ukraine and Russia in 2021 when the Donetsk front line was relatively stable? Pressure from the US administration to push the Ukrainian government away from the negotiating table, as a way of sanctioning Russia, and ruining the Russian economy. That part of the scheme didn’t work as planned, as the Russians merely found alternate customers for their energy, and used the massive increase in energy prices to profit from the market and help finance the war.

I could go on, but it would appear that the nation who profits from this attack would be the USA! It has the technical capacity to stage this attack. It has most to gain from this attack and least to lose. It effectively controls one of the waring nations, the Ukraine, in this war and has the ability to end the war anytime is wants. The US is using economic warfare with Russia to bring the Russians to heel for a number of historical and strategic reasons, involved in the formation of the world economy over the next 30 years.

In 1932, theosophist Alice Bailey and her husband, 32-degree Freemason Foster Bailey, started World Goodwill—an official non-governmental organization within the United Nations.

They mainly try and implement a new age Christ that has no boundaries. And try and influence the UN along these lines. A worldwide epidemic is their dream job.

Not saying their intent is dishonest but history suggests forcing utopia on people results is no utopia.

They reach out in simple ways and try and ingrain themselves in all aspects of culture.

Finally made a decent pot of coffee. Maybe its the weather. Fall has set in here. It’s been too bland or too bitter. Today stuck gold.

Here’s a tip I got from a navy guy. Add a bit of table salt to the coffee grounds after you put them in the basket. Just a sprinkle or two. It smooths out those harsh edges.

She seemed to sleep okay. Completely ignored the bed I put out for her, though, and slept on the floor between my bed and the wall

    Unconfirmed.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense just put in an order for 4 million rubles’ worth of potassium iodide.

The quality of life of young transmasculine people dramatically improves after receiving top surgery — a mastectomy procedure that removes breast tissue — according to a study by Northwestern Medicine.

This type of stuff is mental illness. More prone to progressives who can’t boundary. Doctors are susceptible to it in their atheist/God complexes.

you are correct hell is the place for them.

The problem I have with the ‘mental illness’ perspective is that it relieves people from responsibility, moral, spiritual, and legal.

I prefer something like “they have CHOSEN evil”

I hear that. The guy that did the documentary on what is a woman interviewed a trans woman and detailed the patient essentially becomes a multi million dollar asset to the hospital for life.

To me that violates the oath a doctor takes.

Also heard a new word. Noctor. That is a nurse that does all the doctors work for him her.
