This is an open thread

I just heard a great stat about Coach Prime Time after he cleaned house in Colorado last winter, there was a mass exodus of slackers (dummies!!!) and a mass buy-in. Last spring, his football team posted the highest GPA ever for the team…he told them, you will be early to class, you will act and dress respectfully, will sit in the front of the class, you will ask at least one question per class per player, you will post good grades, or YOU are gone. These young men have reacted to Prime Time’s guidance and demands in a great way. This is a joy to watch and might just change the culture of the game itself.

ESPN’s Gameday, a staple for decades is in Boulder for the Colorado State V Colorado game and it’s Lee Corso’s 400th Gameday. The guy is a legend.

Alright, let’s get on with it. All the ‘BIG GAMES’ are this evening…multiple screens baby! $900/$1000 so far. $100 bet unless otherwise noted.

7 Penn State @ Illinois 12:00 PM…PSU is back, Coach Franklin has done a great job recovering from the Paterno debacle. They are 14 point favorites and cover. They need a good showing here.

11 Tennessee @ Florida 7:00 PM…The Vols were 7 point favorites, but are now just 5. The money is sliding toward the Gators to cover. This game is in The Swamp, the crowd is a factor. I would have taken the 7 points…5…wellll…..OK, The Vols cover.

Pittsburgh @ West Virginia 7:30 PM. It’s the Backyard Brawl! Throw the records out, burn the stats, none of that matters. PITT was the favorite by 2, now WVU is a 1.5 point favorite. HAIL TO PITT!!! they cover.

Colorado State @ 18 Colorado 10:00 PM. That’s right, Coach Prime has the team ranked after just two weeks. The Buffs are 23 point favorites. Their offense is just amazing, their defense, wellllll….not so much. CSU covers and the Buffs go 3 and 0.

2023 Ruby World Cup is in full swing. BUT! The French hosts are messing it up! They must have never heard the Rubgy song that goes: ‘glorious, victorious, one keg of beer for the 4 of us!’. The All Blacks looked like dog shit V France last week. This weekend is the second round of Pool play and no games should be in question. Yinz can watch if any of yinz have Peacock

Day 2 at Telluride. Much nicer weather today. About 50 and sunny, no rain in sight.

Ally Venable takes the stage momentarily to open things up.

    Life is good

Breaking News Alert: UK Biohazzrd tents are being erected at Dover and people seen wearing full hazmat suits have been witnessed there.

Its unclear at this stage what has prompted this however there are breaking reports of a deadly virus identified in India called Nipah with a kill rate of 75% see link on this below, which has caused global concern.

Passing through. Just got a high priority email from apartment complex office.

No it was not about the fact that for the last two months since all apartment doors were painted fluorescent green there are STILL no numbers on the doors. Getting shit delivered is fun….

Talking of shit still no resolution to the problem with the main sewer backing up except for removing inspection covers and letting the shit flow into the parking lot and down the storm drains.

It could have been about the problem with random gunfire. As in this morning shots fired at 3:57am. No blood curdling screams though. These residents need to take shooting classes…..

Did they do something about the Coyote singing? I reported that about six months ago.

Nope, A very important event happening tomorrow.

    Hello Residents,
This Monday, the 18th of September it is National Rice Krispies Day, please come by the leasing office to pick up your Rice Krispies treat between 3pm – 4pm. Happy to see you here!

    @ coldwarrior:
I have always had the opinion that the USA should close all its borders and import nothing.

Be an isolated territory not dependent of any one ore any thing outside the country.

The USA has EVERYTHING it needs to function within its borders. Think of it as a self sustaining colony on another planet.

The UK could not do that as they cannot even grow a fucking banana. Hence the colonisation stuff and world domination in the 1800s.

A lot of manufacturing went over seas, American companies making goods in foreign countries then importing those goods. One of the main reasons WAS NOT cheap labor but the processes produced toxic waste which is expensive to deal with.

Examples, Integrated Circuits, chips as commonly known as. Not labor intensive at all, all done with machines. But chemicals used are nasty. Same with printed circuit board production. Disposing of the copper and ferric chloride waste expensive if done properly.

Manufacture everything here in the USA and pay the price of disposing of hazardous waste correctly.

The mystery of the missing sock. Theory is the washing machine ate the sock. Alternative theory the dryer sent the sock to the afterlife.

Both theories are a load of bollocks. I have a theory. The missing sock departed the planet BEFORE it entered the washing machine.

My reason? I wash my clothes in a bucket in the bath tub. Today is sock day.

Thirteen socks are now soaking in the bucket. One sock is missing.

Probably missing sock is at same place the onion went.

Going to buy some apple tag things and attach them to my socks and onions so I can find them.

Thinking about it, I should put the onions into the used socks. One apple tag does two jobs.

Cat story. For some reason this morning all the cats went nuts. I wish I had cameras set up in the apartment, I have more gopro knock offs than any normal person should own but place is a mess. Embarrassing mess.

Anyway, apartment door was open. Patio door was open so cats had free access to the outside. They were not confined in any way.

For a full thirty minutes it was like the opening credits for a Mission Impossible movie. Cats flying in all directions. Doing the mid air changing direction while climbing backwards upside down in the cat tree.

No guns or explosives but they were awesome.

    @ coldwarrior:
Crazy just hit town with a crew of Keystone cops in tow!

Daughter is visiting long term (6-8 months so that she can write off a chunk of mortgage as she’s struggling with her ‘new’ mortgage regime. She has rented out her place to a family of a workmate. Another Producer of news at TV3.

Miss dog decided that she can’t hold on any longer and refuses to
go toilet on the deck or on the grass beside the cars. She DEMANDS to visit ‘Poo Corner’ two houses away down the street. This is 0430 by the way. Daughter pulls on a puffer jacket over her PJs and escorts Miss dog (OFF LEAD) down the street to ‘go pee’. Miss dog decided to go exploring and heads for the park at the bottom of the hill. Meanwhile a 0430 female jogger is running up the hill in the middle of the street. Miss dog decided to introduce herself (for crying out aloud, she’s a cross La Chien / King Charles spaniel) and loves to lick assorted children and 0430 joggers. Jogger takes freight as after all it is 0430. Dog thinks that she wants to play! WRONG.

Miss dog refuses to take no for an answer. Finally daughter, not 50 metres from home around the corner at 0430 in PJs and puffer jacket catches dog. and points her nose towards home. WRONG. Miss dog sees a random cat and decided to visit the park at the bottom of the hill in pursuit, followed by daughter in puffer jacket and PJs. Daughter ‘rolls an ankle’ whilst in pursuit. Catches Miss dog and staggers back up hill and home. It’s now 0435 and lightly raining.

VERY sore ankle but heads off to work to produce the international news for the post Early show, mid-day news, and 6PM news. By 4Pm her ankle is throbbing. She can’t push the clutch in her car so ‘guess who’ takes my automatic to TV3 and daughter drives home, but directly to A&E at hospital in my car with my cell phone on the seat. I get home in her manual but NO DAUGHTER to be seen. …. did I mention ‘the Keystone Cops’?

Phone Mrs. AI who is painting window frames at the beach to get daughters cell # . She’s not answering my calls to my cell in my car that she is driving. I discover from Mrs AI that she is in hospital having an X-ray. Turns out that she broke her foot in 3 places. Hobbles home in my car at 2100 hours with Moon Boot and crutches. Guess who volunteered to be Uber-Driver for her for the duration? What was I thinking???

    Did I mention Keystone Cops?

Are you in Arizona? That’s where the Advanced Chip Manufacturing Facility, that mirrors the Taiwanese high end chip facility, is being built. That’s so when China invadesTaiwan, the US can flatten the Taiwanese facility and still have access to high end chips. The end run is to starve China weapon systems of advanced chips and stop their airforce and high end systems in their tracks.

    🙂

The Facility in Arizona was started about mid 2020 and was scheduled to take 3 years to complete. Slowed down a tad due to Covid but almost ready to begin production. Just in time for China’s scheduled invasion program in Fall 2023 or first quarter of 2024.

This woman’s bio says she’s in Virginia

Took my 14 year old to the doctor Friday. As if the renewed mask charade wasn’t bad enough, halfway through the doctor asks me to leave. Over my dead body, I said. This is my child, and anything can be discussed with both of us. She then proceeded to ask if there were any questions about gender identity. Nope. I stopped it right there. We cannot continue to fuel this madness. Fight it. Don’t let your child fall prey to a manufactured identity crisis. It ends with us, or it continues to lay claim to more children until the family and our children literally become unrecognizable. Don’t fall for the love narrative. This is a political path that only leads to pain and suffering for everyone involved. Especially the child.

G20 Announces Plan To Impose Digital Currencies and IDs Worldwide

The Group of 20 leaders have agreed to a plan to eventually impose digital currencies and digital IDs on their respective populations, despite fears that governments will use them to monitor their peoples’ spending and crush dissent.

The G20, which is currently under India’s presidency, adopted a final declaration on the subject over the weekend in New Delhi.

The meeting, which included the world’s leading economies, announced last week that they had agreed to build the necessary infrastructure to implement digital currencies and IDs.

The group said that discussions were already underway to create international regulations for cryptocurrencies, but claimed that there was “no talk of banning cryptocurrency” at the summit.

Well it looks like Chicago Fire, Med and PD won’t be coming back this September because of the Hollywood writers strike.

To be honest all three shows have run their course in my way of thinking. I don’t know why they need writers anymore, I could write it.

Chicago Fire episode is now a tiny fire or a traffic accident or someone with their hand in a garbage disposal for five minutes then forty minutes of personal life shit. And of course the bar, Molly’s and I really HATE the accent of Christopher Herrmann, really emphasised New York drawl.

Chicago Med is now boring medical conditions and three quarters of the show is concentrated on some patient or other who has some psychiatric issue.

    Chicago PD also got boring.

As I said earlier even I could write the scripts for all three shows, Take me ten minutes per episode but the actors are also on strike in solidarity.

    Hope they all go hungry…..

First begin with JP Morgan’s support for the NAZIs orchestrated from Switzerland with the other BIG US banks. Or don’t forget that GM and Ford manufactured all of the NAZI half tracks from German factories using slave labour up until 1943 when the 8th Airforce bombed the factories. Remember too that the US taxpayers paid COMPENSATION to Ford / GM for the damage to their German factories.

Yeah, I did know that. Dad practiced those runs, said they weren’t terribly effective/efficient as the damn things would bounce all over the place and actually hitting the dam was sheer accident. Not many people understand that. They see German pilots credited with 200 or more kills, where the highest-scoring US ace had 40. It’s not because the German pilots were necessarily that much better. It’s because they were never sent home, unless they were wounded too badly to continue flying.

Did that naughty little ‘Grey’ flying a cloud of ‘swamp-gas’ behind the F-35 at Mach 1.4 ,steal the airplane and took it for a joy ride. I can just see the USAF jockey, looking in his rear view mirror and seeing a cloud of swamp gas with a small ‘ Grey’ at the controls formatting on him at Mach 1.4 and thinking …. this is above my pay grade … I’m outta here!

So the F-35B was hovering about doing whatever STOVL airplanes do, when he was run down by a way-ward ‘Small Grey’ who was out ‘hooning’ in a patch of Swamp-Gas, roared up behind the floating about F-35B and decided to steal it and try it on for size! The Grey’s legs couldn’t reach the pedals and he just switched on the auto-pilot and dematerialised back to his patch of Swamp-gas and made his get-away!

I had a New Zealand government CAA, A Cat Instructor check me out as a B Cat Instructor when I first arrived in NZ. His name was Antonie Glovasky… (AKA Tony). He was a Pole who fought with 303 (Polish) RAF Squadron in the second half of the Battle of Britain, as well as another Polish Squadron I can’t remember. He ended up with one kill (with the RAF but he had half a dozen with both the Polish and French airforces.) Until after a week with 303 Squadron he got a total of 4 kills in 3 sorties in a single day. 3 Heinckles and a Me109. That made him ‘officially a RAF Ace’ He went on to get 12 1/2 in all with the RAF but was shot down himself as well and lost his nerve. He instructed for a year in 1943 and then returned to Operations and got that last 1 1/2 to make his total for the RAF 12 1/2.

Tony was the ROUGHEST pilot I ever flew with. He almost never used his ailerons. Just stamp on the rudders HARD for yaw, and pull and push on the elevators for pitch. But I blamed myself as I asked him to demonstrate how he flew his Hurricane! He showed me! He also told me to get close 100 to 150 yards behind and just keep firing until the target was destroyed or you ran out of your ‘whole NINE Yards’ of ammo.

Ok, amusing war story from Dad. They all knew the frequencies the Luftwaffe used as they knew the Allies I suppose- usually – and in the normal course of events in the early days the Luftwaffe would track them in during a bombing run and just do light harassment. Fly close, wave, Guten Tag! See you on the way back! Have fun!

It was on the way back when they had less fuel that things got ugly and the dog fights started.

Dad figured out a way to break up their formations. He’d get on their frequencies and yell JUDEN! JUDEN! JUDEN!

And they all went nuts looking for the JUDEN! Somehow this got back to his command and they were NOT happy for some reason but they didn’t know who was doing it. For some reason command let it be known that whoever was doing it was asking for a court martial so he stopped. He got the biggest kick out of that story! And eventually they got those P-38 (I think P-38?) escorts so the Luftwaffe weren’t all that comfortable sitting up there waiting for them to come back.

It’s pretty much impossible to accidentally activate the ejection seat. There’s generally a big handle either above the pilot’s head or between their legs (or sometimes both) that has to be pulled. It’s a very deliberate action, for good reason.

Here’s a video that shows the cockpit of an F-35. It’s an A, rather than a B model, but the seats are probably similar. Notice the big round loop between the pilot’s legs. That’s the handle:

I think from memory that the Lancaster could carry 18,000 lbs of bombs and had a huge bomb bay.

The guy who designed the Lancaster also went on ,post war, to design the Valiant, Victor and Vulcan V-Bomber Force and nuclear strike bombers. The Valiant was a dog but the Victor saw action as a re-fueller for the Victors who successfully bombed both NYC and Washington DC (theoretically) during massive air exercises by the USAF in the 1960s.
    TWICE.
Just to prove e that they weren’t just lucky!
The Vulcan was originally designed as a very high altitude nuclear bomber but as Russian AAA improved went VERY low and sneaky. Pete Rhodes a Kiwi with Air NZ flew with me, but he also flew as a Victor commander. He used to joke that they were expected to scramble, fight their way through a thicket of Russian AAA defences. Drop a 1.37 Mt Hydrogen bomb on their primary, then move on to their secondary city and obliterate that as well with their second 1.37Mt thermonuclear bomb. Then they were supposed to fight their way back to the ticket of by this time VERY pissed off Russian AAA and land back in Britain at the smoking hole in the ground where their Base used to be!

Pete said that after visiting their Primary and Secondary targets, there was NO GOING BACK, he’d go high and head deep into Siberia, wait until his Vulcan ran out of fuel, eject and meet and marry a pretty Mongolian girl and have 15 kids!

    True story!

The B-29 could fly 6,000feet higher and had a pressurised crew compartment and was a much more modern compared to the Brit Lancaster BUT the Lancaster had a Massive bomb load and had an outsized bomb bay to accurate the Tall Boy 5 tonne bombs designed by Barnes Wallis himself. The B-29s were superior aircraft but with a LOT of work and serious modifications including stripping all defences and armour out of the three modified B-29s they were considered a better fit to carry the two nukes to Japan. I have a sick bird, an ordinary wren. I noticed her yesterday when she didn’t use the bird batch but chose to drink out of water collected in an old cushion on the deck. I could SEE her breathing, it was quite heavy and her beak kept opening and closing.

This evening she flew next to my head, actually grazed it, before landing on the table right in front of me. 9 inches away. I tried to take a picture and that startled her but instead of flying away she landed on the deck floor. I got up to look for her, but of course Psycho Puppy noticed Mom was up to something and went to investigate with her usual enthusiasm. The bird jumped off the deck to the ground and I couldn’t find her again.

The concern is that whatever is wrong with this bird – she’s dying, there’s nothing I can do – she can’t infect the other birds in the yard. It will be cold this evening, I doubt she can fly to a nest. I hope she dies tonight so she doesn’t make the other birds sick.

And I’m off to bed. Nite.

Nope not at all. The Brits brought all of their IP and skills to the US because the US didn’t have the necessary background in nuclear weapon tech BUT and it was a huge BUT the US DID have the $$$$$ to finance the research and construction of a nuke within the estimated time frame of WWII. Initially nobody really knew just how advanced the German nuclear research program was advanced. NAZI Germany certainly suggested that a NAZI nuke was potentially part of their ‘Wunderweapon’ program with both London and NYC as potential targets. It was all BS however the Allies needed to have the ‘bomb’ just in case, so they could respond in kind. By 1943/44 it became clear that there would be no NAZI bomb but the US wanted to ‘demonstrate their capability to warn off Stalin, in case he continued to roll West to the Channel Coast in 1945. Truman also wanted to warn off Stalin against a grab in 1945 for Japan.

The whole Pacific War, post 1941, was an American show especially post the Brit loss of Singapore. Roosevelt wanted the Pacific as a US lake post war. French, Brit and Dutch were to be excluded. Once the Australian Forces returned from Egypt and emptied the Japanese out of New Guinea, the US took over totally and completely excluded Australian forces from any of their island hopping exploits.

The US even pushed Aussie forces into irrelevant and manpower wasteful sideshows in Borneo that should have been bypassed, just to ensure only US forces effectively fought the Pacific war alone, for post war political and commercial reasons. Echoes of this US, anti-British & Australian attitude, continued by Truman and Eisenhower as the US pushed very hard against a broke Britain, NOT to become a nuclear armed nation, to drive the final nail into the British Empire. Britain did it anyway!

Finally post 1956 Suez the US upped the anti-Brit pressure, and when Australia and Britain began testing Brit A & H bombs in Australia the US refused to allow Britain to transfer to Australia it’s nuclear technology, (even though that was already a done deal as Oz was 100% read in to Brit Nuke Tech already). The US then went further with Kennedy threatening Britain and Australia with economic warfare if Australia continued to co-operate with Britain in establishing an independent nuclear program for Australia. So much for the US being a good ally! The anti Brit campaign dragged on until the 1990s, when Britain finally paid off the debt for the 40 old broken US WWI destroyers ‘sold’ to the UK in 1940. Such was the level of US hate of the British Empire by the US at the strategic level of government in the US.

That is the reality stripped of the PR spin of the so called ‘special relationship’ between the UK and the US. Like any rising power the US, like all previous empires, doesn’t actually want allies, what it wants is vassel states. Does anyone really hand on heart believe the US ‘boiler-plate’ rhetoric of the US nuclear umbrella? Seriously folks would the US actually protect Sydney or Taipei by absorbing a nuke strike on LA, NYC, Chicago or DC? Nope neither do I!

    🙂

Yet we all cross our ‘Cold-War’ fingers and pretend that we do believe! Oz just has to do its own thing. Buy in 14 Rolls Royce Small reactors, finish the twin breeder reactors at Nowra and start making Plutonium to arm the 300 dialable atomic bombs, use Australian technology to refine a reliable U235 supply of weapons grade triggers for the 100 Thermonuclear devices and take on the responsible position for our own security. This post WWII / Cold War BS has got to stop.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced on Wednesday he will pump $500 million into the next phase of his energy transition campaign, aiming to shut down “every last” coal plant in the United States and slash gas-fired capacity in half by 2030.

The $500 million infusion into his decade-long Beyond Carbon initiative aims to “finish the job on coal” by working with state and local organizations to force the closure of the roughly 150 coal plants that have not yet retired, slash current gas generation in half and block the construction of new gas-fired plants. -Reuters

To welcome in the New World Order 2030. The core requirement is to destroy the base load power generation capacity and steel production of the US. The USA is the main enemy of the NWO and by NOT destroying it’s core industrial capability first, that globalist dream is a feint hope, and the WEF’s plans for 2030 will be ‘still born’. Why did Vietnam and China decide in in ‘fraternal neighborliness’ have a war that killed slightly more Chinese than the US lost in Vietnam? Why was Thailand never seriously threatened?. Why did the Malays turn on the Communists and pushed them to wither on the vine? Why did Sukarno get replaced by Suharto in Indonesia? Why was Hypong port not get bombed back to the ‘stone age’ allowing resupply by Russia and China to go in unimpeded? Why was the Cold War logic about never using nukes on pretend allies of Russia and China when it was known policy never to help an ally if the cost was a major home city in a nuclear power? Suez! It was years after the USS Estes had been stationed in Haiphong Harbor (ca. 1953) that he and his crewmates learned that they were there as a deterrent when peace talks had broken down. @ eaglesoars:

I don’t think he really said that he lost it TO bad weather. More likely, he said that he lost it IN bad weather, when asked where the plane went down.

The F-35 is a single-engine plane, and the stealth design makes it inherently unstable. I would imagine that its controls are much like those of the B-2. The pilot doesn’t actually fly the plane. He tells the plane what he’d like it to do, and the onboard computers that keep the thing in the air figure out how to accomplish what he asked. It probably has the glide characteristics of a cinder block.

I’m just guessing, but I’m imagining a catastrophic failure of some sort (engine, control systems, or both) in the middle of a storm, at night. Punching out would be the reasonable thing to do under the circumstances. You have no control over the aircraft, so the only thing staying with it would accomplish is killing yourself.

    @ eaglesoars:

No way around it, unfortunately. All modern stealth designs are like that. They’re inherently unstable, aerodynamically. A human literally can’t control them. They require thousands of tiny control inputs per second just to stay in the air.

It’s actually reaching the point where having a pilot in the cockpit is a drawback, since it limits the plane’s maneuverability. The computer won’t allow it to execute maneuvers that would kill the pilot, but it’s technically capable of them. The next generation of fighters will likely be unmanned.

Me too mate. You don’t just lose a modern aircraft to JUST weather. There is always something else as a complicating factor.

One night of massive tropical storms at night over the Pacific we ended up 200 nM off track attempting to fins a gap in the line of Cb s. This night there were none so we picked the narrowest storm which was 35 miles wide and gritted out teeth. Locked the airplane down good and tight and left the autopilot engaged but uncoupled the height lock so that the airplane just rode out the updrafts and down draughts. We ‘rode the bronco’ up and down 3,000 feet in both directions. but we were talking to Honolulu the whole time. We were so far off track that there was zero traffic. Actually we were the only aircraft in that massive hunk of sky, and there was no other option. Honolulu was our destanation and there was nowhere else to go at that stage of the flight. It was very lumpy but allowing the airplane to just go with the up and down draughts took a lot of the stress off the airframe if we had tried to maintain a specific altitude we could have broken the airplane. It was a 4 hole Boeing and they build ’em tough in Washington State.

It probably has the glide characteristics of a cinder block.

Had an instructor who used to fly an F-86 E Sabre ages ago. He was the ace of the base at Williamstown AFB commonly known as ‘Nucksville’ (as in the meme …. a place where Knuckle-heads hang out … fighter pilots) He lost his one engine at 20,000 feet and dead-sticked it onto the base Runway. Admittedly he was at 20,000 feet and the base was in sight. Still like most one homers swept wing airplanes they had the gliding characteristics of a brick. You may have guessed his name Flt Lt Bricknell. The base and squadron Commanders both bawled him out for not punching out, but then congratulated him for some fancy flying and having quite a lot of luck and saving his aircraft.

The same guy when an instructor at #1 BFTS Point Cook had an engine failure over the Werebee sewage farm and ‘dead sticked’ a trainer (that was NOT swept wing) with a large high lift wing onto the access roads between the sewage pools. For the next week every time Bricknell entered the Mess for lunch, everyone … and especially the students, all held their noses, and said together … “phew .. what’s that terrible smell?”

In 1956 Britain and France jointly ran the Suez Canal , seeing that they had dug the bloody thing in the first place. The ran it on’ behalf’ of Egypt and to ensure that the freighters of Britain and France got access for their cargos regardless of politics. For reasons known only to Eisenhower and his State Department and CIA, threw both the UK and France under the bus and supported Nasser and his communist mates in Moscow. Then Nassar threw Eisenhower under the following bus, and climbed into bed with Egypt’s BFF the Soviets. A few years later Israel fought the second ME war amongst many against Egypt. The Israeli ‘establishment war was the first war. Yom Kipper was the final war that Egypt fought before it got smart and signed a ‘peace accord with Israel. That got Egypt’s President Sadat assassinated as he watched a parade by his own military.

Eisenhower was highly pissed that both Britain and France went with independent nuclear forces, as their final guarantee of National sovereignty, rather trusting in US ‘so called guarantees’ that they could safely shelter under the US nuclear umbrella. Suez was a demonstration of ‘real politick’ and US power flexing against upperty allies!

I just finished reading Ben Rich’s book “Skunk Works” about the Lockheed division that designed the U-2, SR-71, F-117, and other advanced aircraft.

You’re 100% on target. So many of today’s aircraft are so unstable.

    I highly recommend Rich’s book.

Thanks to you, I just found out that the sonic booms we heard in the early 1990s were due to test flights of a hyper-sonic aircraft that didn’t exist. We were told that it was the Aurora spy plane flying out of Los Alamitos.

Former Skunk Works director Ben Rich confirmed that “Aurora” was simply a myth in Skunk Works (1994), a book detailing his days as the director. Rich wrote that a colonel working in the Pentagon arbitrarily assigned the name “Aurora” to the funding for the B-2 bomber design competition and somehow the name was leaked to the media.

The business of shipping them off to “sanctuary states” and “sanctuary cities” is funny on the surface, but the people who didn’t vote for the insanity get caught in the crossfire. The unemployed fugitive illegals have unrestrained travel and there are plenty of nearby neighborhoods to exploit.

BELGRADE — Most of Europe was in lockdown in April 2020 when a plane arrived in the Serbian capital bearing a well-timed gift from the People’s Republic of China. Inside was a Chinese invention called the Fire-Eye, a sophisticated portable lab that could detect coronavirus infections from tiny genetic fragments the pathogen leaves behind.

And that, as Serbians soon discovered, was the least of its capabilities.

The Fire-Eye excelled not only at cracking the genetic code for viruses, but also for humans, with machines that can decipher genetic instructions contained within the cells of every person on Earth, according to its Chinese inventors. In late 2021, with the pandemic still raging, Serbian officials announced they were working with a Chinese company to convert the lab into a permanent facility with plans to harvest and curate the entire genomes, or genetics blueprints, of Serbian citizens.
