Deported Man Will Not Be Sent Back to US, Salvadoran President Says

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele told U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on April 14 that an illegal alien deported back to his home country of El Salvador will not be returned to the United States.

“You’re suggesting I smuggle a terrorist into the United States,” Bukele told reporters during the Oval Office meeting. “I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous.”

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was arrested in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 12 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Allegedly a member of MS-13, he has resided in El Salvador’s Terrorist Confinement Center for more than a month.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on April 10 that the federal government should help facilitate his return, but the order acknowledged that the government could not be forced to, given that the individual was in the custody of a foreign nation.

White House chief of staff Stephen Miller told reporters earlier in the day that Abrego Garcia was deported because he entered the country illegally.

According to the Saudi-based Gulf Research Center and several Arab media outlets, the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), the internationally recognized government of Yemen supported by the United States, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Nations, is massing upwards of 80,000 troops for a major offensive to retake the Houthi-controlled port city of Hodeidah on the western coast of Yemen.

This would be by far the largest offensive of the ongoing Yemeni Civil War, which has seen the PLC and its allies in the Southern Transitional Council and the Yemeni National Resistance slowly grow in firepower and influence since 2017. The capture of Hodeidah would effectively surround the Iranian-backed Houthis in Western Yemen, enabling future operations to retake the capital of Sana’a which has been under Houthi control since the war began in 2014.

Here is Norm Eisen on MSNBC literally telling you the entire playbook back in February of 2025.

He said he would file 100 lawsuits against the administration and over 150 of seven filed.

    https://x.com/DefiyantlyFree/status/1911643036095766971

He said those lawsuits would be accompanied by “peaceful protesters” and they were as soon as he filed the treasury one.

Just as he prescribed in is 2019 manual about “protecting democracy” which should have been called how to launch a color revolution.

    A food post.

If I had financial backing I would develop an MRI machine for Avocados. It would involve accurately weighing the Avocado then using very powerful magnets to scan the Avocado and calculate the amount of flesh and the size of the lump.

Then it would print a bar code and a price and stick it on the Avocado and a person could then take it to the checkout and pay the price of just the yummy part.

Reason. I was buying the small Avocados for $0.78 and they had the thing inside about the size of a grape. When dismantled the flesh weighed about 100g.

Bought a big (H)ass Avocado for $3.50 intending to use it for two meals and stuff it with Tuna, decoratively.

The big Avocado had a thing in the middle the size of a golf ball and yielded 154g of flesh.

Using the immortal words of the song by The Who.

    Won’t get fooled again……

A food post and intense intestinal distress.

A week or so, maybe longer I got a carton of Eggland’s Best high vitamins eggs. The hens are fed a special diet. Makes the eggs more nutritious they say.

Did a side by side taste test and I could not taste any difference. Boiled two of them, the last two regular eggs and two Egglands. Made them into devilled eggs and got the shits.

A couple of days later had scrambled eggs and bacon. Got the shits.

Sunday made fried eggs, two, and served with ham. Got the shits.

Intestines have healed. Now for final test. A juicy 1/4 beef Pattie with cheese, no bun, and the remaining two Eggland eggs, fried shiny side up. For lunch. Plus a lettuce salad, no tomatoes they ain’t quite ready.

I am not allergic to anything, no food allergies, nothing.

Next 12 hours should be interesting.

So remember when I sustained a concussion because for some unknown reason I just fainted and hit my head?

At first they thought it was because of some weird mechanism of the vagus nerve called vasovagal syncope. It controls blood pressure and for some reason mine decided not to do that for a second or so.

    Not quite.

I had a heart attack. The EKG was EXPLICIT. ‘myocardial infarction’. I don’t know why this wasn’t picked up in the hospital, they kept looking at the brain bleeds

Now, I posted this before so sorry if it is boring.

Eggland also sells chicken food so you can have your own backyard chickens lay nice eggs.

What made me laugh was they feed the chickens marigold flowers, bright yellow, and that “natural” ingredient gets into the yolks making them more yellow!

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Eggland-s-Best-Egg-Layer-Mini-Pellets-Chicken-Food-40-lbs/400370043

An ingredient is “Tagetes (Aztec Marigold) Meal (Color)”

Full ingredients they feed their hens is here, and maybe one of those ingredients causes me intestinal distress.

Usual way to identify an ingredient that causes a reaction or allergy is to gradually reduce intake of each allergen to identify the trigger.

Good luck identifying which on this list gives me the shits!

Corn, Wheat, Ground Soybeans, Soybean Meal, Milo, Oats, Wheat Middlings, Calcium Carbonate, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Flaxseed, Peas, Canola Oil, Monocalcium and Dicalcium Phosphate, Defluorinated Phosphate, Dried Corn Distiller’s Grains with Solubles, Salt, DL-Methionine Hydroxy Analog, DL-Methionine, L-Threonine, Sodium Bicarbonate, Choline Chloride, Dried Kelp, Extracted Citric Acid Presscake, Vitamin E Supplement, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Amino Acid Complex, Zinc Sulfate, Zinc Amino Acid Complex, Tagetes (Aztec Marigold) Meal (Color), Ferrous Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Zinc Oxide, Selenium Yeast, Sodium Selenite, Niacin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Basic Copper Chloride, Copper Amino Acid Complex, Cobalt Glucoheptonate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vegetable Oil, Dehydrated Pediococcus acidilacticii Fermentation Product, Dehydrated Bifidobacterium animalis Fermentation Product, Dehydrated Lactobacillus reuteri Fermentation Product, Dehydrated Enterococcus faecium Fermentation Product, Inulin, Diatomaceous Earth, Rice Mill By-Product, Copper Sulfate, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Menadione Nicotinamide Bisulfite, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Biotin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid, Dried Aspergillus niger Fermentation Product, Dried Penicillium foriculosum Fermentation Product, Dehydrated Yeast Culture, Dried Bacillus subtilis Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus licheniformis Fermentation Product, Dried Trichoderma reesei Fermentation Extract, Propionic Acid (a preservative), Lignin Sulfonate, and Ethoxyquin (a preservative).

A new study conducted by animal behavior and mammalian cognition experts at the Universities of Lincoln and Sussex, and Jean Monnet University, reveals that dogs may be far better at understanding human speech than previously understood.

The group’s research paper, “Domestic dogs (Canis familiaris) recognize meaningful content in monotonous streams of read speech,” published in Animal Cognition, explains that dogs actually “listen in” when we are speaking, even if the speech is not directed at them. According to the findings, dogs possess the neurological capacity to passively sift through information and commands relevant to them when humans are talking.

They just figured this out? Why do they think every dog own in the world has to spell ‘walk’?

NEW YORK — Hitachi Ltd. agreed to pay International Business Machines Corp. about $300 million in a secret pact that led to the recent settlement of IBM’s suit charging the Japanese firm with technology theft, it was reported.

The Wall Street Journal, quoting sources close to the negotiations, said Wednesday IBM also agreed to allow Hitachi to continue to using software the U.S. computer giant had claimed was ‘stolen or derived from stolen IBM technology.’

Thought To Be Impossible: Scientists Break Century-Old Physics Barrier

A research team from POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) and Jeonbuk National University has achieved a groundbreaking feat: the complete confinement of mechanical waves within a single resonator—something long considered theoretically impossible. Their study, published on April 3 in Physical Review Letters, represents a significant advance in solving the century-old puzzle of bound states in the continuum (BIC).

Resonance, the amplification of waves at specific frequencies, underpins many everyday technologies, including smartphones, ultrasound imaging, and radio systems. However, conventional resonators gradually dissipate energy, requiring continuous input to sustain their operation.

In a rare admission, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said that the Chinese hypersonic missiles can destroy all US aircraft carriers in just 20 minutes.

“So far our [US] whole power projection platform is aircraft carrier and the ability to project power that way strategically around the globe,” said Hegseth in a recent interview.

However, Hegseth added that China’s 15 hypersonic missiles “can take out 10 aircraft carriers in the first 20 minutes of the conflict,” added Hegseth.

Hegseth said that the US “loses to China in every war game” run by the Pentagon. “China is building an army specifically designed to destroy the US.”

If you have never done this before it will be an experience you will never forget.

The feeding every two hours, every four at night for the first week or so is stressful.

Also the massaging the belly with a cotton ball dipped in warm water is an acquired technique. You may get lucky and one of your female cats may have their primordial instinct trigger and she may help with that part, and the resulting clean up required.

LOL if I can do it for two day old twins you can!

My break is only 15 minutes, so getting everything heated, assembled, working on helping her to potty, feeding, and then cleaning up in such a short time is pushing it. I know she’s not getting as much food as she should, but it’s all I have time for.

We’re using a syringe right now to feed, and the little nipples we got from PetSmart keep popping off. She’s not quite ready for a bottle yet I don’t think.

    @ right_wing2:
I got my kittens art an estimated age of two days. Umbilical cords there and pink and yucky about half an inch long. That was Sunday.

Only thing I had to feed them was a cheap bottle I got from Walmart. Made a hole in the nipple with a needle and had to squeeze it to make milk come out.

Not successful so I emergency got one of those syringe with multi nipples Amazoned on Monday. That was not good, one false squeeze and milk comes out of nose and they stopped feeding.

Tuesday I tried again with the Walmart bottle, with a needle hole. NOPE!

Then I actually cut the nipple so that when held upside down milk dripped out.

YEAH! they could then suck on it and get what they wanted. The needle prick hole just sealed up when they tried to suck.

Anyway if I had read the instructions on the Walmart bottle the first time I would not have had to find out the hard way.

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/PetAg-Small-Animal-Nurser-Bottle-2-oz/17330077

Before use make a hole in the nipple using one of the following methods: Cross cut nipple with a razor blade. Using a strong needle or cuticle scissors, enter and exit the tip of the nipple as though you were making a very small stich or snip, pull the needle out removing a small piece of the nipple. Check flow with water. A steady drip or thin stream should be achieved when a slight pressure is applied to the nipple.

Lunch is chicken drum sticks, air fried and going to be served with medium salsa and some next to zero calorie honey mustard dip.

Interesting fact. If you order a take out of chicken wings and a side of regular dips then most of the calories you eat are from the dips!

You do not believe me? Well try it. Weigh your wings, eat the meat then weigh the bones. Subtract the bones from the weight of the wings .You will be amazed at how little chicken you actually ate.

Last time I did a calculation of the actual cost of the chicken I ate when eating wings was about $8 per pound of chicken meat.

    But they taste good.

Democratic Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s trip to El Salvador to try to secure the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a deported illegal alien, was likely funded by taxpayers, six individuals familiar with congressional travel tell the Daily Caller.

Three Senate aides and one former aide told the Caller that they believe the trip was likely a Congressional Member Delegation (CODEL), which refers to an official visit abroad by members of Congress and their staff. Such trips are paid for with federal government resources.

“Gotta be,” said one high-level Senate aide when asked if they believe taxpayers foot the bill for Van Hollen’s travel.

A former senior congressional aide said, “Zero doubt the Senator either paid out of the office MRA [Member’s Representational Allowance] or paid personally and will get reimbursed as an ‘official travel’ expense.”

Van Hollen flew to El Salvador on Wednesday morning in a bid to get the country’s government to release Abrego Garcia. Abrego Garcia was deported and sent to the CECOT prison despite an immigration judge issuing a withholding of removal in 2019 after the Salvadoran national said he feared he would be targeted by Barrio 18, a Salvadorian gang that is a rival to MS-13, if he were returned to his home country.

Dr. Oz just EXPOSED the jaw-dropping fraud bleeding America’s healthcare system dry—and says a war room is now hunting down the abusers.

The examples he laid out? Absolutely mind-blowing.

Every single one is a bombshell:

“Almost a quarter million people, American citizens were fraudulently enrolled, without their knowledge, in exchange programs by brokers.”

“Tens of millions of dollars… are being spent on illegal immigrants receive Medicaid in California and pushing the bill to us.”

“We are spending about a billion dollars on Medicaid programs for dual state eligible patients… we’re paying all three states for services you’re not getting because you don’t live in three states all at once.”

And it gets even more outrageous.

Medicaid dollars are being funneled into non-medical perks:

“Public labor unions are getting childcare through some of this money—Housekeeping! I wish I could get that for my home.”

“There’s a big problem with student loan repayments taking place with Medicaid dollars. That’s not where it should be used.”

“And we are paying for DEI programs.”

Dr. Oz says enough is enough.

“We have created a war room at CMS to go after, to catch the fraud in real time before the money leaves the federal coffers.”

    This isn’t a reform. It’s a reckoning.

Half The Universe’s Matter Was Missing. Astronomers Just Found It

A new analysis of the sky has finally confirmed where the missing half of the Universe’s visible matter has been hiding.

In the space around galaxies, it lurks as huge, invisible clouds of ionized hydrogen. Normally, this would be impossible to see – but a large international team of astronomers and astrophysicists has developed a technique that reveals its hiding places, out there in the darkness amidst the stars.

Survey programs confirm the missing half of the Universe’s material takes the form of an intergalactic mist of hydrogen expelled farther from the active cores of galaxies than anybody previously thought.

Looks like I got attacked by Mothra.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mothra

Mothra (Japanese: モスラ, Hepburn: Mosura) is a fictional monster, or kaiju, that first appeared in the 1961 film of the same name, produced and distributed by Toho Studios. Mothra has appeared in several Toho tokusatsu films, often as a recurring monster in the Godzilla franchise. She is typically portrayed as a colossal sentient larva (caterpillar) or imago, accompanied by two miniature fairies speaking on her behalf. Unlike several other Toho monsters, Mothra is a largely heroic character, having been variously portrayed as a protector of her own island culture,[2] the Earth[3] and Japan.[4] Mothra’s design is influenced by silkworms, their imagos, and those of giant silk moths in the family Saturniidae. The character is often depicted hatching offspring (in some cases, twins) when approaching death, a nod to the Saṃsāra doctrine of numerous Indian religions.[5]

1/4 pound frozen burger, a small onion chopped and some left over stuffing and a couple of teaspoons of tomato powder.

Wrapped in a foil packet and currently in air fryer at 250F for 40 minutes. Just to get it all co-mingling.

It should have had an egg included, I has a fear of eggs now!

Anyway after the 40 minutes foil packet will be opened and 350F for ten minutes to crisp the top.

Currently waiting for my chicken to reach boiling point. English people eat boiled meat.

Four chicken drum sticks in slow cooker on high. Skin secured with toothpicks to stop it shrinking back. The liquid is onion powder, chili powder, a big squirt of Siracha and chicken stock.

When it gets to 212F I will let it cook for about 30 mins then out of the liquid, dried then coated with coconut oil and into the air fryer at 350F for 30 mins, turning once, to crispy the skin.

To be served with a variety of dips.

    But wait! There is more!

Once the first batch of drumsticks are out of the slow cooker then the next batch of four goes in. They will be cooked for a while and then slow cooker pot left to cool down and into the fridge. That will be tomorrow night supper, freshly air fried, I like crispy skin.

    Oh here we go!

Lord Waheed Alli: Who is the Labour peer behind Sir Keir Starmer’s donation row?

Lord Waheed Alli, 59, was appointed Sir Keir Starmer’s chief campaign fundraiser in 2022. He became the youngest peer in history when Sir Tony Blair appointed him to the House of Lords in 1998.

But this month, thousands gifted to Sir Keir Starmer and his wife in luxury workwear and glasses landed the prime minister at the centre of a freebies row, in which he was revealed to have received more than any other MP.
    .
    .
He also let deputy leader Angela Rayner stay at his New York home for New Year’s Eve and gave her £2,230 in donations for clothes.

The Labour peer has always said he doesn’t want “anything in return” for his donations.

He said of his fortune to the FT: “I pay myself a salary and I don’t really know where the rest of it is. I live my life on my salary because if I thought about the rest of it I think it would probably drive me mad.”

Sir Keir, Ms Rayner, and Chancellor Rachel Reeves have said they will no longer accept clothing donations.

Things old people do when they are bored and have no life.

Tomato plants are growing better than expected and I have about 75 which now need transplanting into final pots or killed or given away.

Aiming for four plants at the East facing balcony and four on the West facing door. Promised a few plants to a neighbor who lives in a ground floor apartment and who built a South facing raised bed a couple of years ago and has not managed to grow anything so far.

    He needs help! LOL.

Anyway, the potting soil I am using is this. It is highly compressed and expands when wet. Ideal for hanging baskets also, it is light weight but needs frequent watering.

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Expert-Gardener-Potting-Mix-132-oz/926142788

BUT, there is a story! ( there is always a story ) The left over potting mix in a storage container in the bath tub sprouted three seedlings a few days ago and I ignored them.

Gave in to my instincts and transplanted them into a pot and now they are under the grow light. I wonder what they are.

The potting soil is made from coconut husks and is sterilized to kill pathogens. So it came from some exotic tropical place and obviously their heat sterilization did not kill these seeds.

It will be interesting to see what these seedlings are. Obviously not a coconut tree!

Anyway I used AI to narrow down my quest as to what the mystery plants are.

They have two seed leaves. Dicotyledons which eliminates about 25% of known plant species.

Only 165,000–175,000 species left to eliminate. Hopefully if they survive to develop true leaves I can narrow it down further.

what percentage of plants are di cotyledons

Approximately 60-65% of flowering plants (angiosperms) are dicotyledons (dicots). This estimate is based on the diversity and distribution of angiosperm species, with dicots comprising about 165,000–175,000 species out of roughly 260,000–300,000 total flowering plant species. The remaining major group, monocotyledons (monocots), accounts for about 20-25%, with other groups like basal angiosperms and magnoliids making up smaller fractions. Exact percentages vary slightly depending on taxonomic classifications and ongoing botanical research.

Dr Gavin Ashenden was an Anglican bishop and a chaplain to the Royal Family, before converting to Catholicism and is now deputy editor of the Catholic Herald.

In this 25 minute video, he eloquently castigates King Charles for his betrayal of the Christian Faith this Easter, in order to pander to British Muslims.

Dr Ashenden explains how Mohammed falsely represented Jesus and why Britain is on the path to subjugation under either Islamic or Marxist rule.

He doesn’t mention this aspect of the Royals, but William, the heir to the throne, is reputed to be a non-believer and declined to attend any Easter Services on the grounds

that he wanted to spend the time with his family.

One commentator observed that William’s religion appears to be English football and his team Aston Villa.

I’m not sure but I think Lord Alli is appointed (by the Labour Party, ) member of the House of Lords, (kinda sorta like the US Senate, but appointed by a political party but with no election required, and FOR LIFE). In Lord Alli’s case it was the Labour Party that appointed him.

There is a two tier system for Members of the Upper House in Britain, the House of Lords. There are Life Members of the House of Lords appointed when a Lord , peerage member dies , and his eldestt son, or daughter (these days), takes his / or her inherited place in the House of Lords. The other catchment is a political appointment from a political Party who appoints a Party Member to the House of Lords, , but just for the rest of his life!

Most permanent members of the peerage attend the House of Lords as a ‘hobby’. and are often well qualified in all sorts of skills. The vast numbers of political appointees are just Political Party hacks!

Judge blocks Trump administration from passport changes affecting some transgender Americans

BOSTON (AP) — A federal judge on Friday partially blocked the Trump administration from enacting a policy that bans the use of “X” marker used by many nonbinary people on passports as well as the changing of gender markers.

U.S. District Judge Julia Kobick, who was appointed by President Joe Biden, sided with the American Civil Liberties Union’s motion for a preliminary injunction, which stays the action while the lawsuit plays out. It requires the State Department to allow six transgender and nonbinary people who are plaintiffs in the lawsuit to obtain passports with sex designations consistent with their gender identity.

And wish them good luck trying to enter a country that has strict passport controls for entry.

Other countries don’t fuck around. I got detained twice because my passport photo did not match my face. Once for 15 minutes and the second time put in a windowless room for over an hour.

Passport photo very white and clean shaven. At the time deep tan and dark beard.

Tim Walz’s Daughter Says Trump Would Have Deported Jesus And Claimed He Was Part Of MS-13

The 24-year-old daughter of Minnesota Democrat governor and failed vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz released a TikTok video in which she claimed that if Jesus Christ lived in the United States, the Trump administration would deport him and claim he was part of a deadly gang.

Walz appeared to be making a reference to 29-year-old Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien who was deported to El Salvador and is suspected of being a member of the violent MS-13 gang. Democrats have sought for Garcia to be sent back to the United States, claiming that he has been denied due process.

“If Jesus were alive today and in the United States, this administration would already have taken him and removed him from this country without due process, claimed he was a member of the MS-13 gang as a way to try to justify not giving him due process, as if there is any justifiable reason to not giving somebody due process,” Walz declared.

“Some people don’t want to talk about that,” she continued. “It truly is baffling how clear and laid out everything is and there is [sic] still people standing by it. I believe in the good of people, and like, humanity, humans, you know, deep down at our core, like, we care about each other. But that’s really being tested, because how anyone is OK with this is terrifying to me. But yeah, if you look like me, speak up, speak out, because we might be the only ones safe from what’s coming and some of the only people that are able to stop it.”

Talk about stupid. It is clear and laid out. Their party is the one trying to alter the existing laws to fit their narrative. Their last “Jesus” that was deported was very much in the gang world and had the tat to prove it, but I guess that is inconvenient for them to admit.

These people have lost their friggin’ minds. I can’t believe that this is the hill the Dems have chosen to die on:

4 More Democrats Travel to El Salvador to Push for Abrego Garcia’s Release

Four more Democratic lawmakers have traveled to El Salvador to push for the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man at the center of a high-profile deportation by the Trump administration.

U.S. Reps. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.), Maxine Dexter (D-Ore.), Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), and Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) arrived in El Salvador on Sunday.

This comes after Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) made the trip last week.

In a news conference Monday in El Salvador’s capital, the four representatives and Abrego Garcia’s lawyer said they were in El Salvador “demanding his safe return home.” The group said they hoped to continue to pressure authorities for his release, and that their petition to meet with Abrego Garcia was denied.

Frost said the representatives were in El Salvador to “build off the work” of Van Hollen and that they were inquiring about where Abrego Garcia was being held and under what conditions.

Chris Newman, a lawyer representing the deportee, added that his primary concern was Abrego Garcia’s access to counsel.

“We know nothing of Mr. Abrego Garcia’s whereabouts since the staged photo op on Thursday with Senator Van Hollen,” Newman said. “We demand to immediately know where he is and to have access to him.”

The White House press office issued a statement Monday that said the past week “has shown Americans everything they need to know about Democrats’ priorities.”

The White House accused the representatives of “picking up their party’s mantle of prioritizing a deported illegal immigrant MS-13 gang member over the Americans they represent.”

Note to Dems: He already is “home.” He’s from El Salvador, idiots.

Democrat Judge Resigns After Suspected Tren De Aragua Gangbanger Arrested At His Home

A New Mexico Democrat judge resigned after an illegal migrant suspected of being a Tren de Aragua gang member was arrested at his residence.

Dona Ana County Magistrate Judge Jose “Joel” Cano resigned from the bench shortly after Cristhian Ortega-Lopez was arrested by federal authorities in March, according to the Albuquerque Journal. Ortega-Lopez, a 23-year-old Venezuelan national, is accused of being an illegal migrant in possession of firearms and having affiliations with Tren de Aragua, an international criminal syndicate and U.S.-designated terrorist organization. (RELATED: More Dems Land In El Salvador To Support Alleged Wife-Beating MS-13 Gangbanger)

The Justice Department in March confirmed federal authorities executed search warrants on four different illegal migrants in New Mexico for unlawful possession of firearms and other related offenses. Ortega-Lopez and three other Venezuelan illegal migrants were arrested in the operation.

“Ortega-Lopez, an illegal alien from Venezuela suspected of being affiliated with Tren de Aragua, was allegedly residing with other illegal aliens in Las Cruces and had been in possession of firearms,” the Justice Department said in a press release. “The investigators determined Ortega-Lopez had entered the U.S. illegally on December 15, 2023, and was released pending removal proceedings.”

“Social media evidence showed Ortega-Lopez in possession of multiple firearms at a shooting range in Las Cruces,” the Justice Department continued.

Ortega-Lopez entered the U.S. in 2023 by scaling a barbed-wire fence near Eagle Pass, Texas, and was placed into Border Patrol custody, according to court documents obtained by the Albuquerque Journal. Under pressure from the incredible levels of illegal immigration during the Biden-era border crisis, immigration officials released Ortega-Lopez into the U.S. due to overcrowding at detention facilities.

The Venezuelan national eventually met Nancy Cano, Joel Cano’s wife, and he accepted her offer to stay in a “casita” behind their home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, according to court documents obtained by the Albuquerque Journal. Ortega-Lopez in April 2024 filed a request for immigration relief and listed Cano’s Las Cruces address as his home.

Prosecutors further say that Ortega-Lopez was introduced to April Cano, Nancy’s daughter, who “possessed a large number of firearms” and “allowed him to hold and sometimes shoot various firearms.” In its press release, the Justice Department revealed social media evidence allegedly showing him in possession of firearms.

If convicted, Ortega-Lopez and the other three illegal migrants each face 15 years in prison, according to the Justice Department. They will remain in custody pending trial.

Human ancestors nearly went extinct 930,000 years ago

Now, a groundbreaking study published in the journal Science sheds new light on a dramatic event that nearly erased humans from existence. Researchers uncovered evidence that our ancestors survived a population crash that lasted over 100,000 years, leaving just around 1,280 individuals. This severe bottleneck occurred roughly between 930,000 and 813,000 years ago, profoundly influencing the genetic makeup of today’s humans.

    1280?? YIKES!!

The study points to severe climate changes, including harsh ice ages and prolonged droughts. These extreme conditions likely wiped out food sources, destroyed habitats, and made survival nearly impossible. The tiny remaining population not only had to survive day-to-day threats but also struggled to keep genetic diversity, crucial for healthy future generations.

This ancient bottleneck dramatically impacted human genetics. Around 66% of genetic diversity was lost, profoundly reshaping our gene pool. Interestingly, scientists also found that this harsh period led to crucial genetic changes. One notable event involved the merging of two ancestral chromosomes, creating what we now call chromosome 2. This change potentially contributed to the divergence of modern humans from Neanderthals and Denisovans, shaping the course of human evolution.

I LOVE fruit on pizza. Tonight the fruit is mushrooms.

Mushrooms that we eat are a fruiting body. The big part of a mushroom thing lives underground and you never see it.

    Reproductive structure of a fungus

The mushroom fruiting body is the reproductive structure of a fungus, commonly recognized as the mushroom itself. It develops from the mycelium, which is the vegetative part of the fungus that grows within its substrate. The fruiting body is responsible for bearing spores, which are the microscopic particles that lead to the growth of new mushrooms. It consists of various parts, including the cap, stalk, and gills, which play essential roles in reproduction and nutrient distribution. Understanding the fruiting body is crucial for mushroom cultivation and ecology.

I like fruiting bodies on my pizza.

This is his replacement Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, former CEO of Nestle, who stated in 2017: “Humans have no right to access free water.”

What do you notice about him?

Apparently he modified that statement to outline an actual amount. He wants to ration water. And note his wording. “humans’. As opposed to WHAT?? Which
is right up there with telling us we need to eat insects

Also, he’s had work done on his face. I’m a girl. I’ve had fillers and this guy…look at his cheeks. He’s also wearing make up, look at the white color under his eye. I don’t know anything that does that other than make up. Also, he needs some SERIOUS exfoliation. Sheesh.

    @ eaglesoars:
As a US resident I have to pay taxes on all my income no matter where it comes from. Fair enough.

In September I started the process where the US told the UK tax people I lived in the US so my withdrawal from my UK pension fund would not be taxed by the UK. The UK equivalent of the IRS takes 20% of every withdrawal until the US IRS tells them they got it. Then the UK gives me a tax refund.

LOL, fucking nightmare to get it all sorted out.

I have to file a US tax return declaring overseas income as obviously my bank is telling the IRS I am getting paid.

Things would be easier if I got an MS13 tattoo and got a free plane ride to a warm and sunny country, tax free.

Noodles, I have to up my noodle game. Re-purposing Ramen 50 cent packets is getting boring.

I like the big flat rice noodles better.

Dick Durbin, Number 2 Senate Democrat, Not Running for Reelection

Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the longest-serving U.S. senator in Illinois history, announced on April 23 that he will not run for reelection next year, capping a career of more than four decades in Congress.
“The decision of whether to run for re-election has not been easy. I truly love the job of being a United States Senator. But in my heart, I know it’s time to pass the torch,” he said in a video posted on social media platform X.

“The challenges facing our country are historic and unprecedented. The threats to our democracy and our way of life are very real and I can assure you, I’ll do everything in my power to fight for Illinois and the future of our country every day of my remaining time in the Senate.”

No formal decision has been made regarding Durbin’s successor as Democratic Party whip.

A food post. I like bean sprouts but not the expensive $1.52 per can that is three fourths water.

But yet I buy them. Lunch is going to be stir fried pork and a can of bean sprouts.

So, as the tomato seeds went so well I am going to invest in a sprouting thing.

No, I am not gay. It involves putting seeds, mung beans for Asian dishes but any beans or peas work, and getting them wet and rinsing them daily.

No grow light needed, they are kept in the dark.

Now, as I am frugal ( AKA broke ) going to attempt to make my own sprouting system using old Temptation cat treats containers which I have many of, and buying some beans and other sproutable things from the local convenience store.

Note for anyone else trying this, canned beans do not work. I researched it.

Yeah, I go there for game related stuff and some weird things, but even those posts get infested after a while. They purged their site and now it’s a leftist totalitarian hellhole. The ignorance is amazing, they even have people posting that if the US got rid of their military everyone else in the world would too. They’ve even claimed the military is useless because we’ve never been invaded (which even a cursory glance at history proves wrong.)

My favorite is when they say we should bring the military home and use them to defend the country. Right up until someone (like Trump) proposes putting them on the border. If that’s not “defending the country,” I’m not sure what would be.

Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 on the deck rail. I left six cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, my neighbor across the street mowed his lawn, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn’t moved itself off the deck rail. It hadn’t killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do so.

In fact, it hadn’t even loaded itself. You can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong or I’m in possession of the laziest gun in the world.

The United States is third in murders throughout the World. But if you take out just four cities: Chicago , Detroit , Washington DC and New Orleans , the United States is fourth from the bottom, in the entire world, for murders.

These four Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S. All four of these cities are CONTROLLED BY DEMOCRATS. It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data – correct?

Well, I’m off to check on my spoons. I hear they’re making people fat .

    Yup!

Alas the chances of that happening are remote to impossible. Pope Frank left time bombs under every Cardinals’ chair as he appointed almost every one of the voting Cardinals (below 80 years), with a few that you could count on two hands. There are certainly almost all US Cardinals that will just vote for more of the same!

    Spit!

I’m for expecting that St. Malarkey’s suggestion that Pope Frank will be the last Pope, or depending on how you count Popes from about the early 1100s to now! So far pope Peter the Roman hasn’t put in a presence. He’s supposed to be the official last Pope!

    Elon Musk’s Secret Michigan Empire

“Elon Musk came in, bought up Riviera Tool & Die. This was before Donald Trump became president. So he came in, bought up Riviera Tool & Die because he wanted to start producing his stamping tools in the United States instead of Asia, because he was realizing there’s a lot of problems that they were encountering with these foreign made tools. And it’s hard to solve a problem when you have a language barrier. So he bought up Riviera Tool & Die reopens as Tesla Michigan in Grand Rapids.

When he bought that up, he took a company that was on the verge of bankruptcy, that couldn’t hire anybody to turned it, turned it into something awesome.

I mean, the number of people that Tesla Grand Rapids now hires to build stamping tools right here in Grand Rapids. And then not just that, he farms out the work that Tesla Grand Rapids can’t handle. To auto die, to Artiflex, to Greenville Tool and die, to Walker tool and die, to basically every die shop here in this region is making stuff for Tesla. He I don’t know the number, but it’s in the thousands upon thousands of jobs he has created just in West Michigan because he wanted to make his, his parts in America.

How can you hate that? You really can’t.”

EPIC is the all muslim town going up in Texas

That Paxton is just getting on this is seriously disturbing

BREAKING: I’m demanding documents from Plano ISD officials after being made aware of potential connections between school board members and EPIC.

We will thoroughly review the records we receive and hold anyone who violates Texas law accountable.

Remember this? This is along the lines of teachers being sexual predators. The predators follow the prey. I’ve seen horror stories of dogs being adopted from shelters only to be abused to the death.

Judicial Watch received 163 pages of records from the NY State Dept of Environmental Conservation in a lawsuit which show authorities had planned to euthanize a squirrel named “Peanut” & a raccoon named “Fred” before they were seized from NY resident Mark Longo (1/3).

Adam Smith wasn’t talking about World Trade in the 21st. Century however. That’s why the US mixes a goodly shot of national security into the Trade mix. Just Trade alone, especially with democratic governments who are not democratic Republics also suffer from trade disparities and the wheels eventually fall off when national security gets into the mix. Trade should always be balanced and if a nation state can get it together should always establish a home market for an internal market for strategic food and energy. National Security needs to be in balance with Tradables. Most Nation States can’t do that because they don’t manage to reach an internal market status.

us fedvov issues bonds for various lengths of time, the bonds are purchased in USD regardless of point of purchase.

international trade is done in USD as it is the currency that almost all trade is done. a country can use gold or usd to do trade.

fedgov uses the bond market to create dollars. a country that want to trade with us has to buy bonds to get usd to trade with us or anyone else.

    The judicial insurrection continues…

Federal Judge Blocks Trump’s Directive to Require Proof of Citizenship for Voter Registration

A judge on April 24 blocked President Donald Trump’s ordering that officials require people provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote.
The Election Assistance Commission (EAC) must stop taking action to require a passport or other proof of citizenship for voter registration, U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said in an order.
Trump in a March order said that the EAC, established by Congress to help officials administer elections, shall take steps to require “documentary proof of United States citizenship” in its national mail voter registration form. The commission had recently advised states that it is considering how to amend the federal form, which lets people register to vote.

Groups and Democrats challenging the section of Trump’s order pertaining to proof of citizenship “are substantially likely to prevail” in their case, Kollar-Kotelly said.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

)500 and there was a shower and once wet the wind felt cool. The temperature was a balmy 16C so it wasn’t a real nasty early morning start, and the numbers attending were right on the money. ~ 60,000 and a few stragglers. 🙂

March on of the Vets , Guards and Navy Band. A WREN played a lament excellently on a wonderful violin. Drill was crisp, Hymns were sung, flags were raised and lowered, Last Post and Revelry sounded. The rest of the Ceremonial well done and the Flight of three very low C-130s arrived exactly on time overhead as ceremonials came to an end. The Three Services Guards marched off behind the Vets, who repaired through the Doric Columns and deeper into the Museum for coffee, with a smidgen of rum! Individual Regiments did their own ANZAC Day ‘thingies’ behind the Museum on the Domain including ‘The Aucks’ one of my own units the 3rd Bn Auckland ‘Countess of Ranfurly’s Own and Northland Regiment. A breakaway bunch headed down through the hills and copses of trees, through the University of Auckland University grounds and Victoria Park to the Northern Club for a slap up breakfast, and all was right under God’s Heaven!

Not sure what all of it means aside from obstruction.

    @ Aussie Infidel:
I thinkthe history of the different names Popes have chosen is interesting.

Some have chosen a characteristic, like Pius, Innocent, or Honorius.

Others chose a name reflecting someone important in Christendom, like John or Paul.

But there have been many Popes with, at least to our ears, names which are unusual. What prompted Popes like Urban, Conon, or Zosimus to choose those names? And, with the obvious exception of Judas, why have only a handful of names of the other Disciples had their names used?
