Our governor is about to double down and try to enforce his lock-down to destroy the economy and ruin the deplorables.

My hospital system is still doing elective surgeries but has less patients than we did a month a ago during flu. Mrs Coldwarrior’s system decided to cancel all elective surgeries. Her phone rang this AM. For the first time in her long and illustrious career as an RN, she was told to stay home as there are not enough patients to fill the beds in her Level 1 trauma center.

The CEO of our system had a press conference where he basically said, The governor does not run our hospitals and take care of our patients, we will remain at normal operations until we need to put the emergency plain in place. The little Trotskyites are up in arms!

I think that the governor is going to get it for this.

Corona Virus makes some people flat out stupid. But, this is corporate level moronic decision making and these bags of hammers were flat-line stupid before any virus.

Mrs Coldwarrior works for an insurance owned hospital system. The system is famous, but it is run by morons who are never held accountable for their stupid actions. I left there years ago because they gave me seizures, migraines, and tardive diskenesia from witnessing their incompetence once too often. 😉

Mrs Coldwarrior’s phone went off at midnight, she has to get up at 0500 to go tend to the sick. The phone call was from corporate informing her that non-essential personnel should stay home. Her idiot company woke up every doctor, resident, nurse, tech, housekeeper, etc to inform them that the paper pusher drones and the infected leeches in HR get to stay home while the rest of you go to tend to the sick. They woke up the chair of the neuro-surgery department! Mrs Coldwarrior says that he is not at all amused.

Will anyone answer for this at that joint? Nope…these are the same crew who came around to each floor to claim that a grease trap backed up when in fact a huge sewer pipe in the basement ruptured. Everyone new what was going on withing minutes, the shit-stink was overwhelming, but corporate came around and lied…this is the sad situation wher Mrs Coldwarrior works.
