As The regime of Barack Hussein Obama promotes the Muslim Brotherhood inspired Arab Popular Uprising in Yemen, the true intentions of this movement appears. AL-Qaeda in Arabian Peninsula has been taking advantage of the chaos the Obama regime is promoting. They are seizing territory in Yemen and have declared an emirate. Now they have seized Zinjibar a provincial capital in Southern Yemen.

Government officials said that the provincial capital was under the control of militants after fighting that began on Friday and had claimed 16 lives, including civilians.

The fighters “were able to gain control of the city of Zinjibar … and took over all government facilities” a security official told AFP. Only the headquarters of the the 25th mechanised brigade was holding out, he added, but it was besieged by the gunmen.

A local resident said: “About 300 Islamic millitants and al-Qaeda men came into Zinjibar and took over everything on Friday.”

Zinjibar is the capital of Abyan province in south central Yemen. The impoverished state, which was the ancestral homeland of Osama bin Laden, has been wracked by violence amid protests to end President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s near 33-year rule.

If the Yemeni Government falls as Obama wants, AL-Qaeda is ready to take over. The Popular Uprising continues it’s march towards the Caliphate.

This shows the futility of the outreach to the Islamic community that was done by our government after September 11th. They treated imams and other representatives of the Islamic community as de facto royalty. They were above criticism and anyone who attacked them was labeled racist. This was part of a hearts and mind strategy, one that has failed. Anwar Al-Awlaki was one of those invited to the Pentagon after September 11th and instead of promoting peace he became an Al-Qaeda leader.

Anwar Al-Awlaki may be the first American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, but he was also a lunch guest of military brass at the Pentagon within months of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, Fox News has learned.

Documents exclusively obtained by Fox News, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, state that Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military’s outreach to the Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.

This is another example of appeasement that has failed. Anwar Al-Awlaki took this invite to the Pentagon as a sign of weakness. Being kind towards adversaries doesn’t win wars. Creating fear in them does.
