Mladic held after 16-year manhunt

Serb General Ratko Mladic was arrested yesterday in Serbia.

The old general looked pale, his right arm paralyzed from what is most likely a stroke. He had two pistols on him but went quietly. The interrogation has been suspended due to poor health.

Ratko Mladic was the Serb General that was in charge during the so called ‘Srebrenecia Massacre’

I have some bad news for the War Crimes prosecutors at the Hague, when they investigate the ‘Srebrenica Massacre’, many very inconvenient facts will come out again. Please review this post for further details. It was not a massacre, the Serbs (Mladic) allowed the evacuation of women and children. The Muslims that were killed there were Jihadis from all over the Ummah who were sacrificed by their leaders who, of course, escaped and let their men be killed and be used as martyrs and victims later. Have you ever noticed that the Muslims want no part in fighting the Serbs again? That should be an object lesson for the West.

A Quick Bio:

Mladic was born on March 12, 1942, in the south-eastern Bosnian village of Bozinovci. He was two when his father, a Second World War guerrilla fighter, was killed, allegedly by Croat pro-Nazi forces. He graduated from Belgrade’s prestigious military academy and joined the Yugoslav Communist Party in 1965.

Embarking on an army career when the former Yugoslavia was still a six-state federation, Mladic rose steadily through the ranks, making general before the country’s break-up in 1991.

When Yugoslavia began unravelling in war, Mladic was in Croatia leading Yugoslav troops in the Serb controlled enclave of Knin. He is believed to have played a crucial role in the army bombardment of the coastal city of Zadar.

A year later, he assumed command of the Yugoslav Army’s 2nd Military District, which effectively became the Bosnian Serb army.

Appointed in 1992 by Karadzic, Mladic led the Bosnian Serb army until the Dayton accords brought peace to Bosnia in 1995.

Obsessed with his nation’s history, Mladic saw Bosnia’s war as a chance for revenge against 500 years of the Ottoman Turks’ occupation of Serbia. He viewed Bosnian Muslims as Turks and called them that as a racial slur.

Mladic was indicted two weeks after the Srebrenica massacre together with Karadzic, who vanished later that year. Serbian security forces captured Karadzic in Belgrade on July 21, 2008.

The Hague tribunal accused the pair of command responsibility for numerous atrocities committed during Bosnia’s 1992-95 war, which killed more than 100,000 people and drove another 1.8 million from their homes.

The thing with Mladic is that he is not viewed as a war criminal by the Serbs. He is a General that fought the Muslim invaders that were on Serbian soil. Keep an eye on the War Crimes Trial. The Hague has a poor track record of successfully prosecuting Serbs.

Two injured in rioting in northern town

NOVI SAD, BELGRADE — About 500 people took to the streets of Novi Sad, in Vojvodina, northern Serbian, to protest against the arrest of Ratko Mladić.

They tried to force their way to the Radio-Television of Vojvodina building, but were prevented by a large number of police officers in full riot gear.

The demonstrators then threw rocks at the local office of the ruling Democratic Party (DS). Police appeared from the building, dispersing the crowd.

Two protesters were left lying on the street injured. Others fled in small groups, but gathered again in the town’s central square.

Reports said that there are about 100 demonstrators there tonight.

Earlier in the evening, they physically assaulted a man in front of the television outlet’s building, “after which a free-for-all broke out” said reports.

The demonstrators shouted insults aimed at Interior Minister Ivica Dačić, as well as “Ustashas” – a reference to WW2 Croat Nazis.

They also turned over garbage containers, lit flares, and chanted, “Knife, wire, Srebrenica” – a reference to the Srebrenica massacre – and described Serbian President and DS party leader Boris Tadić as “Ustasha”, calling for an “uprising” in Serbia.

In Belgrade, police intervened several times against small groups of young men who gathered in support of Ratko Mladić.

The protesters also lit flares, chanting “Thank you, Ratko”, “Save Serbia and kill yourself, Boris”, while advising policemen to “go to Kosovo”.

The MUP, meanwhile, sent its officers to beef up security around the government and parliament buildings, as well as the City Assembly, the Presidency, and the state broadcaster, RTS.

Update: Srdja Trifkovic has expanded on this email in an article at the Lord Byron Foundation for Balkan Studies: “Emir Ramic, a Jew-Hating Fundamentalist?”

We posted several times recently about Srdja Trifkovic’s attempt to give a speech at the University of British Columbia last week, and his subsequent banishment from Canada.

The attention of the Canadian authorities was drawn to Dr. Trifkovic by an organization called “The Institute for Research of Genocide of Canada”. As pointed out last week, the IRGC is a front for radical Bosnian Muslims, rather than a disinterested “researcher” into genocide.

Dr. Trifkovic just sent us an email with some details about the IRGC and its agenda, as gleaned from its own publications:

Emir Ramic, IRGC Director, is on the editorial board of the (Bosnian-Muslim) war veterans’ magazine Korak (Step), published in Sarajevo, to which he also contributes articles.

This magazine’s Issue No. 13 [pdf] has an interesting article: “Basic Principles of the Law of War in Islam” (pp. 13-17). The article asserts, inter alia, that “Jihad is a just and legitimate fight against aggression and a struggle in protection of human rights and freedoms.” (p. 15)

The Board of Ramic’s “Institute” includes… none other than “Asaf Dzanic, chief editor of the magazine Korak, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina”!

On p. 93 of the same issue there is a breathtaking piece of anti-Israeli bile. It’s in “Bosnian” but even a non-native speaker will understand the title: “Izraelski Rezim Je Teroristicki”, by Fikret Muslimovic. It could have been published in Gaza. It is a tad too hard-core for Ramallah, though…

On p. 99 we have another piece of Jew-hating venom: “Who is responsible for the blockade and massacre of the inhabitants of Gaza?” by Reza Burdzi

Other issues of Ramic’s magazine are no less worthy of scrutiny [all are in pdf format]:

  • No. 14: Norman Finkelstein: “The Bloodshed in Gaza”
  • No. 16 (2009): “Palestine and Al-Quds as the Symbol of All Muslims of the World” by Džemal Najetović
  • No.15: “Failure of the Anti-Iranian Scenario” by Fariba Farshidi
  • No. 12: “Sixty Years Since the Palestinian Catastrophe” by Dr. Džemal Najetović

The list goes on, from one issue to another, from one author to another, from one lie to another, from one anti-Semitic outburst to another.

The magazine site is hosted by the association of Bosnian-Muslim Army veterans, and it also includes a host of articles with interesting and self-explanatory titles, such as “Crimes Against Civilians in the Gaza Strip” [pdf].

This is the real face of the “Institute”!

The “Institute’s” director is on the editorial board of the magazine publishing this hate-filled drivel, and the editor-in-chief of said magazine is on the board of the Institute. Mr. Wiesel & Co. are in some interesting company, indeed!

*Facepalm*…Facepalm smiley

If the government of Canada had a modicum of common sense, they would have welcomed Dr. Srdja Trifkovic, and they would instead have deported all members of the Bosnian jihadi IRGC, not because they are purveyors of libel and “hate speech” (though they are), but because they are a subversive organization of foreign enemies.

BOSNIAN MUSLIM BOMBSHELL: Islam Under the Swastika 50 Years After Hitler’s Mufti

I saw this at Pamela’s Geller site and felt this needed posting here. Coldwarrior has already exposed the lies about the Balkan conflicts (Part 1, 2a, 2b, 3). He explained that the 90’s conflict was another round in a war that has been raging since the 1300’s. Wrath and Speranza have written and discussed the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and his links to the Nazis.

Well, Pamela shows how his spirit is alive and well in Bosnia.

In my ongoing research into the origins of ownership of the Auschwitz blueprints and the little spoken-of  partnership between The Third Reich and Islam, I discovered the Bosnian-Muslims’ current revival of Nazism that I posted here. There is much more damning evidence that this sick and twisted love affair is very much still with us. Much thanks to the indispensable source on Bosnia and Serbia, Julia Gorin.

Even as the Bosnian Muslims were trying to get Jewish support in the early 90s, painting themselves situationally as the contemporary Jews, they were reviving the Nazi Handzar Division to fight the Serbs. Nonetheless, they got the support of both the Jews and the West in their Nazi-inspired fight in the modern 90s. Here is an email I got from historian Carl Savich in 2008, followed by a 1993 UK Daily Telegraph report that was dutifully ignored by the world. Also, please note that in your last paragraph you’ve got Izetbegovic as the “current president.” He was the 1990s wartime president and is currently in hell, as he passed away a few years ago while the Hague was taking its time issuing his indictment. However, please note that the Haris Silajdzic mentioned in the 1993 Guardian article is, disturbingly enough, still in power in Bosnia and harbors jihadists.

Here’s the email from historian Carl Savich, whose columns can be found on Serbianna.com:

Here is a bombshell on Bosnia. There was a formation in the Bosnian Muslim Army called the “Handzar Divizija”. I was just reading the trial transcripts from the Hague and Salko Gusic, a Bosnian Muslim Corps Han2 commander went over an order that was issued to the Handzar Divizija! The Hague court has documents proving that the unit existed!

Now, can you imagine naming a unit or formation of your army after a Nazi SS Division? Who would be that insane? Well, I guess the Bosnian Muslims would be that insane!

And the shocking part is that no one caught this! What led me to pursue this story was a story by Robert Fox in 1993 that reported that the Bosnian Muslim government had reformed the Nazi SS Division. Now, everyone was skeptical. I was as well. Who would be that crazy to reform a Nazi SS Division? You have to be out of your mind! And especially when the whole propaganda paradigm is how your enemy is supposedly a Nazi and wants to repeat the Holocaust! It just boggles the mind!

…If [one] bothered to read the [Hague ICTY] transcripts, available on the web, [one] would have found that the Bosnian Muslim Government did in fact have a formation called the Handzar Divizija.

Read the BOSNIAN MUSLIM BOMBSHELL: Islam Under the Swastika 50 Years After Hitler’s Mufti

This what I and other supporters of Serbia have been screaming about. The Bosnians are Jihadis and also Nazis. These people are not friends of America but just members of Dar Al Islam. The blueprint being used against Israel now was done to Serbia in the 90’s. Goldstone was a promoter of the Kossovo genocide lies. This is a plan to take down all nations that stand up to the Islamic-Progressive Axis.

Bosnia: A Haven for Islamists

Those wonderful “Moderate” Bosnian Muslims. They are so different than other Muslims, except they are not. They support the cause of Jihad and use their occupied part of Bosnia to shelter their brothers from other lands. These Jihadis operate Terror Training Camps in the Muslim occupied part of Bosnia, backed by the so called Moderate Muslim Government of Bosnia.

Belgrade, 30 July (AKI) – Bosnia has become a haven for Islamic terrorists who feel protected by local authorities and are planning terrorist acts in various countries, experts on terrorism said on Thursday. Dzevad Galijasevic, a Bosnian expert on terrorism, told Tanjug news agency that there was a “developed network of support for Islamic terrorists” in Bosnia.

“There are about 80 prominent names in the world of terrorism, protected by a new identity,” Galijasevic said.

Bosnia came under the spotlight this week after a convicted criminal and terror suspect of Tunisian origin, Karray Kamel bin Ali, known as Abu Hamza, escaped from a Bosnian jail.

“Bosnia is a base for Islamic terrorists who live here in safety, operate training camps and prepare cadres for attacks in third countries,” said Galijasevic.

Hopefully this will open the eyes to the hypocritical supporters of the Bosnian Muslims. Many so called anti-Jihad Conservatives support the Bosnian Muslims vs. the Serbs, yet support Israel against Muslims. They are naive and let them read about their beloved “Moderate” Bosnian Muslims.

(Hat Tip: Jihad Watch.)
