When Obama made appearances on shows like Pimp with a Limp, many Conservatives either attacked him for it or made fun of him. Well Obama had the last laugh as youth turnout was higher than expected and he got 60%. Both Rand Paul and Marco Rubio have no qualms appearing on pop culture shows or doing interviews outside of the Conservatives bubble.

In this case, Marco Rubio gets interviewed by Buzzfeed which is a Lefty outlet. In this wide ranging interview, Rubio discusses 90’s Hip Hip, today’s pop culture, Football injuries and other subjects.

Kudos to Marco Rubio to try and reach a new audience. More Republicans should emulate what Rubio and Rand Paul do and reach out to new audiences.

Democrats don’t fear Mitt Romney

I feel that the 2012 election was rigged for a Republican defeat. This was the weakest field ever seen by a major Party in the last 50 years. The GOP establishment got its man Mitt Romney on the verge of the nomination. This was by default and not because people love Mitt Romney. He is Progressive Leftist Republican. In fact, team Obama is very confident they got the election in the bag.

CHICAGO, Ill. — They are afraid of everything from a spike in gas prices to the possibility of war with Iran; from unemployment to the Supreme Court’s striking down the health care law. But one thing Barack Obama’s expensive war machine isn’t afraid of right now is Mitt Romney.

Sure, they respect the Boston headquarters of a professional Republican campaign and they worry about the “Death Star,” the pro-Romney Super PAC Restore Our Future. But after six months of watching Romney drift deeper into traps they spent last year setting for him, Obama’s aides and allies view him with the slavering, gloating anticipation of a tiger stalking a wildebeest.

“I think their assessment is that Romney is much less a threat to them as events are a threat to them, and I agree with that,” former Clinton aide James Carville told BuzzFeed. “Romney cannot beat Obama, only events can beat Obama.”

I predict Obama will defeat Romney 50% to 48%, with 280-290 electoral votes. The one silver lining is that the GOP will hold the House and win the Senate. Hopefully after this defeat, the GOP will modernize and learn to communicate better. I will not hold my breath for this as I though 2008 taught them a lesson. The Republican Party has forgotten nothing nor have they learned nothing.
