A follow up from yesterday, a part two if you will. During the time when the Jordanian Muslims controlled the West Bank, and indeed Western Jerusalem, any Jew caught worshiping at the Western Wall was arrested, imprisoned, and possibly beheaded. Any Christian caught worshiping at the Christian holy sites were arrested, imprisoned and possibly beheaded. Since the Israelis took over administrative duties in Jerusalem following the 6 day war, all religious sites have been made available to all worshipers of whatever faith cared to practice their religion. If you believe that the Muslims would allow for open worship again, following a return to dominion in Jerusalem, carry a sign that says proud Christian into Saudi Arabia, and see how long you will be allowed to keep you head on your shoulders. Yet, even with these facts well known, Israel is labeled an apartheid state. This requires a logical feat of acrobatics not even attempted by Ringling Brothers.
The Arab Spring as it has become to be known has resulted in the slaughter of virtually all of the Coptic Christians formerly living in Egypt. They were not members of the Egyptian government, nor were they involved in supporting the former regime in any way. They were executed by the ruling Muslim mob for committing the crime of not being Muslim. There is a terrible disconnect which occurs on the political left. The disconnect is between reality and spin. Somehow, the victims of these murderous rampages being inflicted upon them are shown to be the aggressors, and vice versa. Israel is not the problem in the Middle East, Israel is the shining example of what is possible with a free and open society not hampered by the onerous burdens of an oppressive regime. The Arabs who remained in Israel and fought alongside the Jews during the 1948, 1954, 1967, 1973, etc… wars, and their descendants enjoy a far greater living standard than that of any other non royal Arabs living anywhere else in the Middle East. Israel is able to achieve this for her citizens, despite the fact that she is the only bit of land there without any oil. Yassar Arafat died with over $9 Billion in the bank. Most of that money came to him from UNICEF donations. Had half of that money been used for the purposes being advertised during those sickening Halloween commercials, the so called suffering would not have happened. Of course, much to the chagrin of Chris Martin and his ilk, that also would have meant that only about 6,000 Katusha’s per year would have been available for the murder of Jews.
If the, “Palestinians,” put down their weapons today, there would be peace. If the Israelis put down their weapons today, there would be a slaughter. Prior to the Intifada, a, “Palestinian,” baby was unfortunately killed. It was reported by AFP that the baby died due to being shot by an IDF soldier. As it turns out, both the AFP reporter and his bosses knew that the baby was in fact murdered by his own father, a member of the PLO, and the death was staged purposefully to appear as though it was the fault of the IDF. Clearly there is a difference in values between those of us in civilized society and the animals of the PLO. Slapping a COEXIST bumper sticker on your car will not solve this problem nor will it bridge the gap. If you choose to take the side of these animals, I have no further use for you. You are either evil, or just plainly too stupid to participate in any actual discussion. In any case, Kish Meir Yiddische Tuchus.
