Neo-Nazis screaming ‘Heil Hitler’ attack concentration camp survivors during memorial service

I know we have a new thread, but there is no way I could -not- post this. Outrageous!

Survivors of a Nazi death camp were shot at and abused as they gathered to remember their liberation.

Masked neo-Nazi thugs screamed ‘Heil Hitler!’ and ‘This way for the gas!’ at ten elderly Italian men and women, who returned to the site of the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria.

The gang also fired air guns at a group of 15 French survivors, many dressed in the striped pyjama-style uniforms they wore as inmates. One suffered a head wound while another was injured by a shot in the neck. The four thugs managed to escape.

Jewish leaders in Austria were appalled by the weekend scenes that marred events marking the 64th anniversary of the camp’s liberation by American troops.

Please read it all.

UCSB College Professor Abuses Authority To Propagandize Against Israel In His Globalization Class

On Martin Luther King Day, January 19, 2009, UC Santa Barbara sociology professor William Robinson e-mailed his Globalization class students an inflammatory anti-Israel article by Judith Stone along with 42 “horrific, parallel” photos of Nazi atrocities and Israel’s purported atrocities in its war against Hamas in December and January. His introductory comments claimed that Martin Luther King would denounce Israel, equated Israel’s military operations in Gaza with Nazi atrocities, asserted that Israel was committing genocide and that the state was “founded on the negation of a people.” (To see Professor Robinson’s e-mail, the article and pictures, click here.)

When one surprised student emailed asking whether this was an assigned reading, Professor Robinson admitted it had nothing to do with the course, but “was just for your interest I should have clarified.”

Two students promptly dropped the class. They later filed grievances, claiming that Professor Robinson had violated the Faculty Code of Conduct: that there should not be “significant intrusion of material unrelated to the course” (II A, 1, b); that faculty members should not use their “positions of power to coerce judgment or conscience of a student” ((II, A, 4); and that faculty should not use “University resources for personal, commercial, political, or religious purposes” (II, C, 3)).

One of many sets of photos Robinson sent his students, is below.  Notice how he juxtaposes Jews waiting to be sent to concentration camps, with so-called Palestinians waiting at a border crossing.

After concerned citizens wrote a letter to the Chancellor of UCSB requesting that he investigate whether Professor Robinson violated the Facility Code, Anti-Israel advocates mobilized to come to his defense -created a website, encouraged numerous people to write, call, and otherwise defend these types of violations of UCSB’s code, and stop the investigation.  On April 27, a petition created by those defending Professor Robinson’s equating Israel to Nazi Germany, and his propagation of this fallacy to his students, had 1,229 signatures from the U.S. and abroad.  Not surprisingly, their letter inverted and distorted the facts of this case.  A written refutation of their false claims can be found here.

The enemies of The West are waging a propaganda war against our children and fighting for the hearts and minds of the future decision makers of our Country – Israel is just a wedge. The administration is going to be under immense pressure from those that support using of our colleges to propagandize our children, and thus are fighting the investigation. We must counter their actions, and let the University know that there exists a once silent majority that won’t stand for it, and who support their decision to investigate this abuse of power.

Remember that the grievances against Professor Robinson are a plea for academic freedom. The Faculty Code of Conduct guidelines that Professor Robinson is charged with violating were intended to protect academic freedom and to prevent the politicization of academia. They prevent professors from using their positions of authority to promote only one extreme view, thereby stifling students’ ability to debate, critically examine hot-button issues, and form their own opinions.

DON’T JUST SIT THERE!…..WE MUST TAKE ACTION!

Here are just a few ways that you can help:

(1)      Sign The Petition

(2)      Write your own letter.
(3)      Get the word out.
(4)      Encourage your friends, and family to write, call and sign the petition.
(5)      Contact the Chancellor of U.C.S.B.

(more information & photos)

On this day we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah in Hebrew) is a national day of commemoration in Israel, on which the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust are memorialized.   It is a solemn day, beginning at sunset on the 26th of the month of Nisan (Monday evening, April 20, 2009) and ending the following evening, according to the traditional Jewish custom of marking a day.  About one and a half million of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust were children.  The number of children who survived is estimated in the mere thousands.

From the day the Nazis came to power, Jewish children became acquainted with cruelty, first in Germany and, as time passed, in every other country the Germans conquered or forged an alliance. The parents and families of these children were unable to grant them the security and protection they needed. Jewish children were separated from their non-Jewish playmates and expelled from state-sponsored schools. They saw their parents lose the right to support their families, and often witnessed the descent of the family unit into an abyss of despair.

As war broke out and antisemitic policies worsened, the suffering of Jewish children increased: many were doomed to the horrific suffering of life in the ghetto – the bitter cold, the never-ending hunger and a multitude of dangerous diseases.   There, cut off from the world, they lived in the shadow of endless terror and violence.   At the end of the war, many of these children were lost to their families and their Jewish heritage forever.

Although officially World War Two began on September 1, 1939 and ended on September 2, 1945, the mistreatment of the Jews began long before then, and progressively got worse.  To ensure that Hitler’s “final solution” would be accepted by the highly educated German public, the soil necessary for the Nazis to sow their seeds of evil had to be worked slowly over many years.   This was accomplished through numerous State sponsored so-called humorous propaganda, and seemingly innocuous acts such as vandalism, public “outing”/humiliation of Jews in the schools, and boycotts as early as the 1920s.    Kristallnacht, often falsely described as the beginning of the “Final Solution”, wasn’t until November 10, 1938.   (side note: along with creating an excuse for Nazis to arrest innocent Jews by the thousands, it was also used as a pretext and a means for the wholesale confiscation of firearms from German Jews by the Nazis.)

These are the acts of the actual Nazis.  Mass murder, unimaginable cruelty, and true evil.  An ideology that culminated in a plan to wipe an entire people off the face of the earth.   A political movement that encouraged an highly educated society, and continent (Europe) to forget they were human, scapegoat an innocent people, and act with the utmost cruelty against their own citizens.  These were the Nazis!  These were the acts of the Nazis in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria, Romania, The Netherlands, Belarus, Latvia, and Ukraine.  They were not monsters, or aliens but human beings who justified their actions, and performed them without remorse.  They were doctors, teachers, social workers, lawyers, carpenters, mechanics, train drivers, union leaders, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters….

Below is a video of an ss guard describing the murders he was personally a part of at Treblinka.  (this is part 1.  There are 6 other parts)
