Republicans more motivated to vote

The electoral picture is looking ugly for the Progressive controlled Democratic Party. The lie of the Obama boom was exposed with May’s job report number showing that only 41,000 private sector jobs were created. Americans are also angry at his treatment of allies like the UK and Israel and his appeasement of Islamic-Imperialists. The Tea Parties, contrary what Progressive Republican traitor David Frum says, is motivating the GOP base as they are rejecting the Progressive ideas that infected the GOP the last decade. RealClearPolitics has a very good  analysis showing that if the election was held today, the Republicans would have 199 Seats, Democrats 201 seats and 35 undecided. Usually, the undecided districts break for the party with momentum, and in this case it’s the Republicans.

PRINCETON, NJ — An average of 59% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents have said they are more enthusiastic than usual about voting this year compared with past elections, the highest average Gallup has found in a midterm election year for either party since the question was first asked in 1994.

Compared to Previous Elections, Are You More Enthusiastic About Voting Than Usual, or Less Enthusiastic?

The prior high for a party group was 50% more enthusiastic for Democrats in 2006, which is the only one of the last five midterm election years in which Democrats have had an enthusiasm advantage. In that election, Democrats won back control of the U.S. House of Representatives for the first time since 1994.

The current average is based on four measures of this enthusiasm question since February, including the recent June 11-13 USA Today/Gallup poll. In that poll, 53% of Republicans said they were more enthusiastic than usual about voting and 39% were less enthusiastic, while 35% of Democrats said they were more enthusiastic about voting and 56% were less enthusiastic.

Republicans’ net score of +14 more enthusiastic in the latest poll compared with the Democrats’ net score of -21 represents the largest relative party advantage Gallup has measured in a single midterm election-year poll. More generally, Republicans have shown a decided relative advantage in enthusiasm throughout 2010, averaging a net score of +28, compared with Democrats’ net score of 0.

The Right needs to keep the momentum going by showing no mercy. We have the Tranzi Totalitarian Progressives on the ropes and we must keep up the pressure. Hopefully the GOP doesn’t blow it as many who run the party are Progressives themselves. Victory is all that counts. America is on the cusp of a Dark Age and it’s up to us to prevent it.

News Update: The Leftist-Islamic Axis suffered a blow today from the Supreme Court. In a 6-3 decision the Supreme Court upheld a Law that prohibits Americans from sending material support to Foreign Imperialist organizations.

The Republican Civil War

After the election of Barack Hussein Obama many pundits declared Conservatism was over. They claimed that in the elections of 2006 and 2008, Americans rejected Conservative policies in favor of Progressive ones. Leading the chorus were Rockefeller Republicans like David Brook, Chris Buckley and David Frum. They wanted the Republicans to emulate the Progressive-Conservatism of David Cameron’s Tories. Well in the UK, the Tories have blown a 15 point lead and are now slightly behind or tied with the Far Left Liberal Democrats. This clearly is not a path to imitate here in the United States.

Since the election of Obama, the Republicans have won elections in Virginia, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The Tea Parties have lead a resurgence of Libertarian-Conservative principles. The Republicans are leading in the polls for the Congressional elections because of this Authentic Rightwing resurgence. What the voters rejected in 2006 and 2008 was The Leftist Compassionate Conservatism. Now all throughout America, Conservatives are rising up and taking the Republican Party back from the Progressives. This is leading to a necessary Civil War to remove the Leftist elementsfrom the GOP. The Battle in Florida between Marco Rubio and Charlie Crist is ground Zero in this struggle.

Marco Rubio appeared on a Sunday talk show this month to say something remarkable. The Republican running for Florida’s Senate seat suggested we reform Social Security by raising the retirement age for younger workers. Florida is home to 2.4 million senior citizens who like to vote. The blogs declared Mr. Rubio politically suicidal.

The response from Mr. Rubio’s primary competitor, Gov. Charlie Crist, was not remarkable. His campaign slammed Mr. Rubio’s idea as “cruel, unusual and unfair to seniors living on a fixed income.” Mr. Crist’s plan for $17.5 trillion in unfunded Social Security liabilities? Easy! He’ll root out “fraud” and “waste.”

Let’s talk Republican “civil war.” Not the one the media is hawking, that pits supposed tea party fanatics like Mr. Rubio against supposed “moderates” like Mr. Crist. The Republican Party is split. But the real divide is between reformers like Mr. Rubio and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, who are running on principles and tough issues, and a GOP old guard that still finds it politically expedient to duck or demagogue issues. As Republicans look for a way out of the wilderness, this is the rift that matters.

The era of Big Government Progressive Compassionate Conservatism is over. It is now time for Libertarians and Conservatives to put a nail in the coffin of this failed Ideology. In order to defeat the Tranzi Totalitarian Progressive Democrats, we must offer a clear alternative. The likes of Leftists like David Frum or David Brooks, who is lamenting the fall of Obama’s popularity need to be relegated towards the path. Like The Rockefellers of old, they no longer fit with the GOP. Let them come out the closet and join the Democrats. We don’t need them and we will defeat them!

The Meltdown of David Frum

David Frum is one pundit I can’t stand. He is the epitome of the ideology of Compassionate  “Conservatism”.  This man supported Big Government “Conservatism” and interventionists government policies. As the small Government Conservatives began organizing and taking back the Republican Party, Frum started his Frum Forum.  His blog is a collection of fake Conservatives who support the Progressive agenda of Global Warming and other Leftist issues. He admires the British Tories lead by the fraud David Cameron and his Progressive Conservative Ideology. Frum is angry Conservatives have rejected his Radical Ideology, so he just bashes the Right now. He is clearly a Leftist and it’s time for him to be called out.

First, let me say at the outset that I think this has gotten way more attention than it deserves. I don’t know if that’s a pro-Frum statement or an anti-Frum statement. But the fact that he’s leaving a think tank, even one as fantastic as AEI (where I am now a visiting fellow), does not strike me as earth-shattering news. Indeed, the reason it’s news at all is that it feeds a liberal media storyline, one that David is regrettably feeding. Still, it’s forgivable that David sees this as huge news, it’s his life. But in the grander scheme of things,  what’s giant news for David Frum isn’t necessarily giant news for America or the conservative movement.

Second, let me agree with some of the comments around here. I haven’t agreed with much that David has had to say in the last few years (more on that in a moment), but I don’t think the Frum Project is about getting invited to liberal cocktail parties. I think Tunku is a brilliant guy, but that is a pretty lazy bit of analysis. First of all, even when David was a leading right-winger on such issues as socialized medicine, gay marriage, and immigration, he was already being invited to liberal cocktail parties. He’s that charming and interesting a guy. His taking a flamethrower to the Republican party and his fellow conservatives is not a signal flare to Sally Quinn saying “call me!”

Jonah Goldberg does a good job calling out this fraud. David Frum is not a Conservative, He is a Progressive who wants a Neo-Feudal Totalitarian system. I am glad Conservatives are tired of this clown and have called out this loser.

The Time of David Frums is over for Conservatives. Now is the the time for victories and defeating the Totalitarian Progressive Movement. Frum and his Compassionate Conservative defeatists will be left in the dustbin of history along with their Progressive and Islamo-Imperialist friends. America is awakening and the Eagle is ready to soar again!

Update: Let us not forget David Frum’s pathetic begging of Obscure 70’s/80’s Jazz Guitarist turned Blogger Charles “Icarus” Johnson to come back to the Right. Well here is what was playing in Frum’s IPOD when he wrote that.
