#Caturday March 8, 2014: Play this first-person mischievous cat simulator; your goal is “knock stuff over”

Geek-o-system has the story:

Available to play for free right now, Catlateral Damage is a first-person cat simulator where your only objective is to knock as many of your owner’s belongings to the floor as you can in two minutes. I have no doubt that this should be Game of the Year 2014. Just look at the gameplay and try to tell me you’re not going to go mess around with this for the rest of the day:

There is a kid here in Los Angeles who has written a couple IPhone game apps who has donated all of his proceeds to cancer research at the hospital he had treatment for. I have looked at both of the games and they look fantastic. As I have a Windows Phone, I wasn’t able to download the app so I wrote to him last night.

Hi Cameron,

I watched your KTLA interview today and I would love to know if you are going to write them for Windows Phone 7? The apps look fantastic and look like a lot of fun to play. I have a blog that I will compose a write up on it in the next couple of days. I have quite a few readers and I will let them know how great your work is.

Very good job, I wish you all the best.

Marc

He replied to me in less than 12 hours…

Hi Marc,

Thanks so much, that really means a lot to me. I haven’t thought about making them for Windows Phone 7 yet, but it’s definitely a possibility. Thanks again for your kind words and for thinking of putting it on your blog.

Cameron

I suggest everyone go over to his site and take a look and buy them. They are only 99 cents and you can get them at the App Store for the IPhone, IPad and IPod Touch.

You can go over and see the KTLA video interview here for more detailed information. In addition, you can go right to Cameron’s website here.

This young man is definitely going places, I believe.

This looks like no fun at all.  Oh wait! I have an idea! Let’s remove the baskets! Put your money on the rail and chalk up your cues, Blogmockrateers, while I rack ’em up.

No point in pushing and shoving to be first because everybody gets a break on The Overnight Open Thread.

Lookout Chess! Here’s a true game of strategy. Just like “Connect One,” it all has to do with the preparation. Like it says on the box, “It’s the most fun-filled action GAME you’ve ever played,” with “you’ve” meaning all four of you.

“Pie Face” is one of the most popular games currently being played at The Village, and is presented for general amusement only, here on The Overnight Open Thread.
