Jay Z says Obama owes him

A few months back I was listening to radio and heard in a mix set a Jay Z song. The Joe Camel clone bragged about getting the President re-elected. In a Charles Johnson style delusion of grandeur moment, Jay Z now believes Obama owes him some favors.

Jay Z would want President Barack Obama to induct him into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he said Friday.

When asked by HBO’s Bill Maher on his show “Real Time” who the rapper would want to induct him when he’s eligible in seven years, Jay Z immediately said Obama.

“It’d be alright. He owes me a couple,” Jay Z said.

Jay Z aka Sean Carter is a big phony and never lived anything he rapped about. The Camel is just like Obama, a fake.

Kraftwerk’s Legacy: Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell Williams Get Lucky

The Obama Boom economy has a very late 70’s feel to it. Anemic economic growth, lackluster job growth and a declining standard of living. The song Get Lucky by French Electro-House group Daft Punk featuring American Rapper/Producer Pharrell Williams captures both the late 70’s and the early 201o’s. The song which is a big hit overseas is currently #4 on the Billboard charts and is popular in the club scene sounds like a late 70’s Funk/Disco track.

Daft Punk has been around since the 1990’s and have claimed that German Electro group Kraftwerk was their influence. Their first big hit was in 1997 with the song The Funk.

Pharrell Williams who I actually met once when I visited The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas back in 2002, is a member of the Neptunes production team, who also were influenced by Krafwerk. Their fist big break was Queens, NY Rapper Norega’s ( Who I actually know from DJing back in the early 90’s) Super Thug back in 1998.

The Song reintroduce Electronic beats to Rap Music. The Neptunes went on to produce big hits in the early 2000’s by Usher, The Clipse, Kelis, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani and many others. Pharrell  took a break from the Music Industry in 2007 and has now returned in 2013 to team up with Daft Funk for Get Lucky.

Both Daft Funk and Pharrell cite Kraftwerk as an influence, so this collaboration is actually a natural one. Kraftwerk’s 1975 Trans Europe Express influenced Hip Hop, Electro, House and techno.

Another Kraftwerk track that was influential was 1980’s the Model.

Kraftwerk is one of the most influential music groups of the last 40 years. The collaboration between Daft Punk and Pharrell is just one of this band’s many legacies.

The Camel raps about his visit to Cuba

CamelSeason

As an Old School Hip Hop head I despise Jay-Z. His songs are full of lies about about things never did in reality. He’s a fraudster and a clown. But Jay-Z’s lies were good enough to make him a Millionaire. As a supporter of Obama he has political clout. The Came claimed on a  song that he got the President elected. This about the only truthful statement he has ever put in his songs.

Using his political clout, Jay Z visited Cuba. He claims to have got a State Department waiver. In a new terrible song called Open Letter, he brags Obama told him not to go so he does not get impeached.

Here are the lyrics to the song.

I done turned Havana to Atlanta
White guayabera shirts and bandanas
Every time you think they got me I switch the plan up

Bulletproof this, radio scanners
Ballin’ ’til they ban us
You gettin’ too much bread, they tryna’ jam you
Boy from the hood but got White House clearance
Sorry y’all, I don’t agree with y’all appearance
Politicians never did shit for me
Except lie to me, distort history
Wanna give me jail time and a fine
Fine, let me commit a real crime
I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef
Out of spite, I just might flood these streets
Hear the freedom in my speech
Got an onion from Universal, read it and weep
Could’ve bought the Nets to Brooklyn for free
Except I made millions off it, you fuckin’ dweeb
I still own the building, I’m still keeping my seat
Y’all buy that bullshit, you’d better keep your receipt
Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached
But you don’t need this shit anyway
Chill with me on the beach…

We almost want to start a revolution
You know whenever I’m threatened, I start shooting, bark
Catch a body, head to Houston
I’m in Cuba, I love Cubans
This Communist talk is so confusing
When it’s from China, the very mic that I’m using
Idiot wind, the Bob Dylan of rap music
You’re an idiot baby, you should become a student
Oh, you gonna learn today
Where the fuck have you been
The world’s under new management
The new role model, fuck this Zoolander shit.

Jay Z has never sold anything in real life. For him to be claiming that he can sell Kilos is just BS. Like his god-king, Jay Z is a cornball and it pisses me off that one of the phoniest people I have ever met, became influential enough to help win an election.

Hey Sean, Some of my Old School peeps from Sunset Park say hi!

Joe Camel clone visits Cuba

JayZChe

I just laugh that Jay-Z has become some cultural icon. He is one of the biggest phonies to ever walk the earth. The Rap songs that fueled his career was based on lies. Jay-Z aka Sean Carter was never some big time drug dealer. He was a driver for a real big time dealer and nothing but an errand boy. After a  car accident that killed his boss, Jay Z assumed his identity via his songs. His whole music career was based on a lie. Yet, Jay Z is a big power broker in the music industry.

The Joe Camel clone visited Cuba to show support for the Castro Regime there. Jay-Z although he loves money and the rewards of capitalism, but has a history of supporting Marxist causes. In the early 2000’s, he wore Che Guevara shirts at his concerts. His visit to Cuba must be viewed in that context.

(Reuters) – Two Republican members of Congress have asked the U.S. Treasury Department for information on what type of license American pop star Beyonce and rapper husband Jay Z obtained for a high-profile trip to Cuba to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Beyonce and Jay Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary this week in Havana, where big crowds greeted them as they strolled hand in hand through the Cuban capital.

They ate at some of the city’s best restaurants, danced to Cuban music, walked through historic Old Havana and posed for pictures with admiring Cubans, who recognized them despite the past half-century of ideological conflict that separates the United States and Cuba.

[….]

n Washington this week, the State Department said it had no prior knowledge of the visit. A spokeswoman at the U.S. Interests Section in Havana said she did not know if the celebrity couple obtained a license for their trip. If they did not, they could be exposed to a fine.

You can that since the Joe Camel clone is an Obama supporter, he will face no fine. This is why people like The Camel are attracted to Totalitarian regimens like Cuba. The elite live like Capitalists, while the rest live like feudal serfs.

Jay-Z is a fraud like his buddy Obama.
