Since its rise in the late 90’s as a result of the Tech boom, the Hipster movement has reshaped the popular culture and the politics of this nation. Like all movement, they have a pantheon of heroes who in other times would have been considered losers or evil men.

Victor Davis Hanson warned about the Hipster movement and despite defeats in the culture and 2 Presidential losses, many on the Right do not take the Hipsters seriously. Underestimating this movement has enabled it to spread its tentacles into many facets of American society.

People who laugh at Hipsters, do so at this nation’s peril.

Update: How could I have forgotten to add a picture of one of the most beloved martyrs in the Hipster pantheon, St. Pancakes!

Jay Z lies about being a drug dealer

The world’s first talking camel; Jay Z continues to lie to the pop audience about his life. In an interview with Vanity Fair, he claims that he was a drug dealer as a teenager. As someone was in the know and involved in NY’s Hip Hop scene back in the early 90’s, I can tell you this was a flat out lie. Jay Z was a driver for a Brooklyn drug dealer from Marcy Projects and never once made any transactions himself. His drug dealer employer died in a car accident and Jay Z knew where he kept his money, that is how he got into the music business.  All his rap songs were about the life of a real drug dealer, he just drove around.

Jay tells Robinson that his mother knew he was dealing drugs as a teenager, “but we never really had those conversations. We just pretty much ignored it. But she knew. All the mothers knew. It sounds like ‘How could you let your son . . . ’ but I’m telling you, it was normal.”

Jay’s checkered past taught him a few things that he says will come in handy in his new role as a sports agent: “I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer,” he tells Robinson. “To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up. Or if you want to start some sort of barbershop or car wash—those were the businesses back then. Things you can get in easily to get out of [that] life. At some point, you have to have an exit strategy, because your window is very small; you’re going to get locked up or you’re going to die.”

Speaking about his childhood, Jay tells Robinson they did the best they could to make ends meet: “We were living in a tough situation, but my mother managed; she juggled. Sometimes we’d pay the light bill, sometimes we paid the phone, sometimes the gas went off. We weren’t starving—we were eating, we were O.K. But it was things like you didn’t want to be embarrassed when you went to school; you didn’t want to have dirty sneakers or wear the same clothes over again.”

While he was growing up, Jay says, “crack was everywhere—it was inescapable. There wasn’t any place you could go for isolation or a break. You go in the hallway; [there are] crackheads in the hallway. You look out in the puddles on the curbs—crack vials are littered in the side of the curbs. You could smell it in the hallways, that putrid smell; I can’t explain it, but it’s still in my mind when I think about it.”

Jay tells Robinson he sold crack but never used it, and when asked if he ever felt guilty about contributing to what was becoming an epidemic, he says, “Not until later, when I realized the effects on the community. I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning, no. I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.”

Jay Z like his hero Obama is a fraud who invented his life to sell records. The Jay Z I remember circa 93 and 94 was some wannabe rapper who had to pay extortion money to the Bonano Crime Family and the Latin Kings to perform in Brooklyn clubs.

As I previous posted, Dehaven who was real drug dealer exposes Jay Z for the fraud he was.

That said, Jay Z was one of the people who help get Obama re-elected. If Republicans had not abandoned Pop Culture back in the 90’s, they could have had rappers exposing Jay Z as liar. Sadly, this man has fans throughout America that believes his lies. The Camel’s lies to the public really irks me.

Jay Z says Obama owes him

A few months back I was listening to radio and heard in a mix set a Jay Z song. The Joe Camel clone bragged about getting the President re-elected. In a Charles Johnson style delusion of grandeur moment, Jay Z now believes Obama owes him some favors.

Jay Z would want President Barack Obama to induct him into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he said Friday.

When asked by HBO’s Bill Maher on his show “Real Time” who the rapper would want to induct him when he’s eligible in seven years, Jay Z immediately said Obama.

“It’d be alright. He owes me a couple,” Jay Z said.

Jay Z aka Sean Carter is a big phony and never lived anything he rapped about. The Camel is just like Obama, a fake.

The Camel raps about his visit to Cuba

As an Old School Hip Hop head I despise Jay-Z. His songs are full of lies about about things never did in reality. He’s a fraudster and a clown. But Jay-Z’s lies were good enough to make him a Millionaire. As a supporter of Obama he has political clout. The Came claimed on a  song that he got the President elected. This about the only truthful statement he has ever put in his songs.

Using his political clout, Jay Z visited Cuba. He claims to have got a State Department waiver. In a new terrible song called Open Letter, he brags Obama told him not to go so he does not get impeached.

Here are the lyrics to the song.

I done turned Havana to Atlanta
White guayabera shirts and bandanas
Every time you think they got me I switch the plan up

Bulletproof this, radio scanners
Ballin’ ’til they ban us
You gettin’ too much bread, they tryna’ jam you
Boy from the hood but got White House clearance
Sorry y’all, I don’t agree with y’all appearance
Politicians never did shit for me
Except lie to me, distort history
Wanna give me jail time and a fine
Fine, let me commit a real crime
I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef
Out of spite, I just might flood these streets
Hear the freedom in my speech
Got an onion from Universal, read it and weep
Could’ve bought the Nets to Brooklyn for free
Except I made millions off it, you fuckin’ dweeb
I still own the building, I’m still keeping my seat
Y’all buy that bullshit, you’d better keep your receipt
Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached
But you don’t need this shit anyway
Chill with me on the beach…

We almost want to start a revolution
You know whenever I’m threatened, I start shooting, bark
Catch a body, head to Houston
I’m in Cuba, I love Cubans
This Communist talk is so confusing
When it’s from China, the very mic that I’m using
Idiot wind, the Bob Dylan of rap music
You’re an idiot baby, you should become a student
Oh, you gonna learn today
Where the fuck have you been
The world’s under new management
The new role model, fuck this Zoolander shit.

Jay Z has never sold anything in real life. For him to be claiming that he can sell Kilos is just BS. Like his god-king, Jay Z is a cornball and it pisses me off that one of the phoniest people I have ever met, became influential enough to help win an election.

Hey Sean, Some of my Old School peeps from Sunset Park say hi!
