Muslim Brotherhood poised to win in Libya

Our corrupt bi-partisan elite waged an illegal war in Libya last year. Many warned that the overthrow of Qaddafi would be a mistake. The Libyan rebels were Islamists. The result of the war went as predicted and a Islamist-Sharia law state was created. Now elections are set to formally put the Muslim Brotherhood in power in Libya.

While the elections for a 200-member National Congress is unlikely to grant a majority to any one faction, the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies are confident they can join their counterparts in Tunisia and Egypt at the helm of leadership.

Negotiations between the Muslim Brotherhood and a secular-based political movement led by former interim prime minister Mahmoud Jibril have focused on forming a post-election government as soon as the result is known.

An adviser to Mr Jibril said the former prime minister was likely to take the post of figurehead president with Mustafa Abu Shagour, currently interim deputy prime minister of the Muslim Brotherhood, taking the prime minister’s slot as head of government.

The outgoing National Transitional Council, which has ruled Libya since Gaddafi’s fall, announced yesterday that Islamic Sharia law should be the “main” source of legislation and that this principle should not be subject to a referendum.

“The Libyan people are attached to Islam, as a religion and legislation … As such the National Transitional Council recommends that the (next) congress make Sharia the main source of legislation,” Saleh Daroub, NTC spokesman, said.

America’s elites are the Muslim Brotherhood’s greatest allies.

The Leader of McCain’s Heroes says Islam will be Libya’s path

We here at Blogmocracy were some of the first to call the Al-Qaeda links with the Libyan Rebels. While other so called Conservatives were backing Obama in his attack on Libya, we didn’t jump on the bandwagon. Instead we have been vindicated. The leader of the new Libyan Regime, Abdul-Jalil, has declared Islam will be the basis of Libya’s future.

TRIPOLI, Libya — Libya’s interim rulers declared the country liberated on Sunday after an eight-month civil war, launching the oil-rich nation on what is meant to be a two-year transition to democracy. But they laid out future plans with an Islamist tone that could rattle their Western backers.

Abdul-Jalil laid out a vision for a new Libya with an Islamist tint, saying Islamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation and existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified.

He outlined several changes to align with Islamic law, including putting caps on interest for bank loans and lifting restrictions on the number of wives Libyan men can take. The Muslim holy book, the Quran, allows men up to four wives.

We knew this was coming, yet useful idiots like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Bill Kristol and even Marco Rubio were assuring Conservatives these people were good guys. They now have egg of their faces. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are responsible to installing this Islamic regime in Libya.

What troubles me about Libya is the precedent it sets. Col. Qaddafi gave up his WMDs and was helping us against Al-Qaeda. Now we sent a message to the world. If you have WMDs NATO will not attack you. If you don’t or give up the ones you do have NATO will invade.

The Wilsonian spread Democracy at any costs agenda needs to end!

McCain’s heroes to use Islam as basis for Libyan law

John McCain and Lindsey Graham denied reports that the new Libyan constitution would be based on Sharia law. As is usually the case with the Wilsonian spread democracy crowd, they have egg on their face. The new Libyan regime confirms, their laws will be sharia based!

Islam will be the main source of legislation in post-Muammar Qaddafi Libya, the head of Libya’s transitional leadership said in his first public address in Tripoli on Monday.

National Transitional Council leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil made the remarks before thousands of Libyans gathered on Martyr’s Square two days after his arrival in the capital following the fall of Qaddafi’s regime.

“We will not accept any extremist ideology, on the right or the left. We are a Muslim people, for a moderate Islam, and we will stay on this road,” he said.

Another Islamic state created by the US/NATO with your tax dollars. That Arab Spring sure is grand, aint it!

The Wilsonians and the Tranzis are celebrating their “victory” over Col. Mumar Qaddafi. Their fictitious “Popular Uprising” called the Arab Spring succeded  in removing the Qaddafi regime from Libya. Once again, the US was manipulated to fight for the interest of foreigners. In this case, the French and British used us to so they can get oil and arms contracts with the new Libya. Like all good plans, they are only good on paper. Already there are signs that Libya is on its way to becoming Somalia on the Mediterranean.

The Libyan rebels are composed of different factions. As expected by us here at Blogmocracy, the Al-Qaeda linked Islamists have the upper hand. The different factions are dividing up Tripoli into areas of control. This is a recipe for even more fighting among the different sections of the Libyan Jihadists.

TRIPOLI, Libya — Fighters from the western mountain city of Zintan control the airport. The fighters from Misurata guard the central bank, the port and the prime minister’s office, where their graffiti has relabeled the historic plaza “Misurata Square.” Berbers from the mountain town Yafran took charge of the city’s central square, where they spray-painted “Yafran Revolutionaries.”

A week after rebels broke into Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s former stronghold, much of its territory remains divided into fiefs, each controlled by quasi-independent brigades representing different geographic areas of the country. And the spray paint they use to mark their territory tells the story of a looming leadership crisis in the capital, Tripoli.

[…]

Early steps toward unifying the brigades under a common command have brought out latent divisions among rebel leaders. Some became apparent when a fighter named Abdel Hakim al-Hasadi, sometimes known as AbdelHakim Belhaj, was named commander of a newly formed Tripoli Military Council.

Several liberals among the rebel leadership council complained privately that Mr. Hasadi had been a leader of the disbanded Libyan Islamist Fighting Group, which rebelled against Colonel Qaddafi in the 1990s. Some said they feared it was the first step in an attempt at an Islamist takeover. They noted that Mr. Hasadi was named commander by the five battalions of the so-called Tripoli Brigade, rather than by any civilian authority. And they complained about the perceived influence of Qatar, which helped train and equip the Tripoli Brigade and also finances Al Jazeera.

“This guy is just a creation of the Qataris and their money, and they are sponsoring the element of Muslim extremism here,” another council member from the western region said. “The revolutionary fighters are extremely unhappy and surprised. He is the commander of nothing!”

People may not like what I’m about to say, but thank God John McCain was not elected president. He has a history of supporting Islamist groups like the KLA or the Libyan rebels. He would have gotten the US involved in more useless conflicts that only benefit Islamic or European interest. A McCain Presidency would have been the death knell of the GOP for a decade or more. This man has bad judgement and actually views these Libyan Jihadists as heroes. Clearly he’s senile and not fit to be in public office.

The British and French are at least getting something out of this mess. They will get oil contracts and weapon sales. Even if the factions fight each other, they will sell weapons and get discounted oil. What will America get out of all this? Absolutely nothing as usual! We are suckers and I’m getting sick of foreign interests and Globalists manipulating us. It’s time America started standing up for its own intersts.
