President Obama might have fulfilled his promise of “Change I can believe in“TM.  Those who voted for him however probably are not going to be all that pleased.

“TV by the Numbers” reports that Fox News’ Glenn Beck has received over 3 million views (just behind Bill O’Reilly).  For those unfamiliar with TV ratings, this is quite a feet.  For comparison, here are the Live and Same Day cable news daily ratings for August 26, 2009

Does this prove that passionate Conservatism works and is what the country wants? Who knows?!  But I would guess that advertising execs all over the Country are probably kicking themselves right now, and feeling very insecure about their jobs.  Maybe next time they wont allow themselves to be coerced by extremist political hacks.

From “TV by the Numbers”:

Last night Glenn Beck had over 3 million viewers at 5pm, second only to O’Reilly for the night.  But, Beck had more 25-54 viewers than O’Reilly (888K to 876K).  I don’t watch or really even care about the cable news wars, but still…wow. Even though Beck airs before primetime,  when there are fewer people watching TV, he had the most 25-54 viewers in the cable news world for the night.

And just to really infuriate all the Fox News haters out there, here are the total views for cable news stations:

P2+ Total Day
FNC – 1,374,000 viewers
CNN – 711,000 viewers
MSNBC –506,000 viewers
CNBC – 217,000 viewers
HLN – 300,000 viewers

In other Television news….

Kennedy Coverage Pulls Low Audience On Nets.  I guess that is what you should expect when you overplay your hand and the people start to believe that the MSM is exploiting the death of Senator Edward Kennedy to promote President Obama’s flagging attempt to overhaul the US healthcare system.

Washington –The United Auto Workers is urging its members to back efforts in Congress to reform health care coverage, citing a provision that includes $10 billion to defray the medical costs of union members and others in retiree group health care associations.

Obama-Joker

….Section 164, a reinsurance program for retirees, according to a summary of the bill from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office. It sets aside $10 billion to establish a temporary reinsurance program to provide reimbursement to participating employment-based plans for part of the cost of providing health benefits to retirees age 55-64 and their families. A Senate version has nearly identical language.

First Obama gave GM to the Unions, now we all get to pay for their healthcare. Hope and Change my friends, Obummer style.

Saul Alinsky Open Thread

Saul Alinsky was a Totalitarian Progressive  and a community organizer in the 1960’s. His book, Rules for Radicals, laid the blueprint of the Progressive Movement’s takeover of America in the 2000’s. After September 11th the Progressives seized that moment and went on to assist the Islamists and destroy Bush and the Republican Party. Now many on the Right, like me, are adopting those tactics and turning the tables. The Tea Party protests and the Town hall protests are examples of the Right using Leftists.

I have read Rules for Radicals and admit,Saul Alinsky was a genius. His ideas are evil and anti-American, but his tactics work. Progressive blogs like Think Progress, Daily Kos, Talking Points Memo, Huffington Post and Little Green Footballs all use his tactics. They ridicule, smear and mock their enemies. They use simple slogans and turn their enemies labels against them. It works and I have no qualms using my enemies tactics against them! I recommend all on the Right use and adopt these tactics

Like Patton said: ““Rommel, you magnificent bastard! I read your book!” !”

Hey Progressives, I read you book!
