Just the latest in Terror attacks in India. As you know the Indian navy took on Islamist pirates last week. Now Mumbai, India has been attacked. Coincidence. They still have yet to reveal the attackers as some of them are in the hotels. Any bets on who it is? I have a hunch it’s Al-Qaeda.

Several wounded in Mumbai shootings

Police say several people have been wounded in a series of attacks by terrorist gunmen at seven sites in Mumbai, including two luxury hotels.

I stand with India against this Terror.

Hugo Chavez Welcomes Russian warships

Venezuelan nut job Hugo Chavez welcomes Russian warships for a joint exercise. This isn’t a big threat but it’s noteworthy. Chavez hates America and is allying with any enemy. He’s also buddies with Iran and China. He’s doing this to prove he has friends. We just need to keep our eye opened on him.

Venezuela’s Chavez welcomes Russian warships

LA GUAIRA, Venezuela (AP) – Russian warships sailed into port in Venezuela on Tuesday in a show of strength as Moscow seeks to counter U.S. influence in Latin America. Russia’s first such deployment in the Caribbean since the Cold War is timed to coincide with President Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Venezuela, the first ever by a Russian president.

Russian sailors dressed in black-and-white uniforms lined up along the bow of the destroyer Admiral Chabanenko as it docked in La Guaira, near Caracas, and Venezuelan troops greeted them with cannons in a 21-gun salute. Two support vessels also docked, and the nuclear-powered cruiser Peter the Great, Russia’s largest navy ship, anchored offshore.

Chavez, basking in the support of a powerful ally and traditional U.S. rival, wants Russian help to build a nuclear reactor, invest in oil and natural gas projects and bolster his leftist opposition to U.S. influence in the region.

He also wants weapons – Venezuela has bought more than $4 billion in Russian arms, including Sukhoi fighter jets, helicopters and 100,000 Kalashnikov rifles, and more deals for Russian tanks or other weaponry may be discussed after Medvedev arrives Wednesday.

Hugo Chavez needs to be monitored. he’s up to no good.

ElBaradei Springs Into Action, Declares Syria ‘Innocent Until Proven Guilty’

The UN’s blind watchdog Mohamed ElBaradei is pushing hard to continue helping the Syrians build a nuclear reactor, despite new evidence that they were conducting a clandestine nuclear project. ElBaradei says that just like individuals, countries should be considered innocent until proven guilty: ‘Don’t prejudge Syrian nuclear program.’

“There are claims against Iraq, which proved to be bonkers, but only after a terrible war,” ElBaradei said after the US and its allies questioned Syria’s right to his agency’s help in planning a power-producing atomic reactor.

“There is one thing called investigation, another called clear-cut proof of innocence or guilt … and all of you, even if you are not lawyers, know that people and countries are innocent until proven guilty,” he said. …

Syria denies hiding nuclear activities. But the report strengthened both concerns that it might have something to conceal and arguments from the US and its allies that Damascus should not be offered agency help in planning its civilian reactor. Beyond helping the Syrians develop expertise, the $350,000 aid project would send the wrong signal about a country under investigation by the IAEA, critics like the Americans argued.

In Washington, US State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said it was “totally inappropriate, we believe, given the fact that Syria is under investigation by the IAEA for building a nuclear reactor outside the bounds of its international legal commitments.” …

But ElBaradei disagreed, saying there was no legal basis to cancel or postpone the program.

Commenting on ElBaradei’s scrappy stance, a senior diplomat with good connections to IAEA staff said the agency chief personally sent text messages to key aides telling them to stand tough on the Syria issue. He demanded anonymity because his information was privileged.

My Comments:

This just shows the the UN is in the tank for the Islamo-Fascists. Why are we still in the UN?

HIV rises in Iran

That great moral paradise, Iran is undergoing an AIDS crisis. This will help make Iran more beloved by the Left. The causes in this increase is due to a rise in Heroin use and unsafe sex.

Iran fights rise in sexually transmitted HIV

TEHRAN (Reuters) – Sexually transmitted HIV infections are on the rise in Iran and the Islamic Republic is setting up telephone hotlines to help fight the problem, a senior official said in comments published on Tuesday.

Injecting drug users are the main risk group in Iran, which is on a heroin smuggling route to the West from Afghanistan, but officials are also concerned about the number of people who are infected with the AIDS virus through sexual contacts.

It is a sensitive issue in the conservative Islamic state, which bans sex outside marriage, but U.N. officials have praised the authorities for the way they are tackling the virus, for example by urging drug addicts to seek treatment.

“In recent years the incidence of AIDS virus contraction through sexual contact has increased,” said Abbas Sedaghat, who heads the Health Ministry AIDS office.

I thought Iran’s morality police would prevent all this? I bet alot of the increase in AIDS has to do with the fact that many Mullahs are Bisexual and have sex with young boys. This spreads the virus. This is nothing to laugh at, but this proves the hypocrisy of Islam.
