NO ONE.

Hey Buddy Boy, drop the heat in the desk drawer and have a seat. Put your dogs up, light a butt, take a swig. Grab your moll. As for you molls – sit where it counts. Everything’s cool on The Overnight Open Thread.

Top comment on that UToobage vid:

3 chords, 2 minutes, no bullshit 🙂

Commercial music sucked big green donkey Johnsons in the 70s, with way too much over-produced garbage IMO (think ELP). In 1977 a showcase “Rockumentary” called Live at CBGB was making the college circuit. The Ramones got my attention for the same reason that the Utoob commenter stated; they were paying respect to early rock and roll. They weren’t smug, and didn’t play to each other – they played OUT.

The second UToobage comment addressed the action just after 1:00. THAT describes my mental state these days, except when I post something especially for all loyal Blogmockrateers on The Overnight Open Thread.

Michigan bar band Brownsville Station‘s hit “Smokin In The Boys’ Room” was a built-in classic, and here they cover Robert Parker‘s 1966 hit “Bare Footin’” as well.

Kinda self-explanatory for you peeps who need no explanatrons on
