This is a good article on home defense. I have one disagreement with the article: birdshot is next to useless if your intruder is wearing a ballistic vest of any sort. Ballistic vests are common, and not terribly expensive. I used to have one, and intend to replace the one I had at some point. These look interesting, but I really want a back-and-breast set.
