Wall Street supporting Mitt Romney

After backing Obama in 2008, Wall Street donors are now turning towards another Progressive in 2012. Donors on Wall Street are now backing Mitt Romney.

It is no secret that the relationship between President Obama and Wall Street has chilled. A striking measure of that is the latest campaign finance reports.

Mitt Romney has raised far more money than Mr. Obama this year from the firms that have been among Wall Street’s top sources of donations for the two candidates.

That gap underscores the growing alienation from Mr. Obama among many rank-and-file financial professionals and Mr. Romney’s aggressive and successful efforts to woo them.

The imbalance exists at large investment banks and hedge funds, private equity firms and commercial banks, according to a New York Times analysis of the firms that accounted for the most campaign contributions from the industry to Mr. Romney and Mr. Obama in 2008, based on data from the Federal Election Commission and the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.

Wall Street loves Crony Capitalism and Socialism. They don’t view Obama’s failure as the failure if their ideology. Instead they believe Romney could manage Socialism/State Capitalism better than Obama. Clearly the Global Elites are now anointing Mitt Romney.

Tim “Tax Cheat” Geithner is calling for higher taxes on small businesses. Clearly this man is  economically illiterate. Raising taxes on small businesses would destroy what’s left of the already struggling US economy.

(CNSNews.com) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.”

The administration’s plan to raise the tax rate on small businesses is part of its plan to raise taxes on all Americans who make more than $250,000 per year—including businesses that file taxes the same way individuals and families do.

The goal is obvious. Destroy small businesses so the Big Corporations in bed with the Obama regime can dominate the economy. This is State Capitalism, which was the economic model of Benito Mussolini and many 3rd World Liberation tyrants. This is Economic Fascism people.

Americans losing faith in the economy

Many Americans are coming to the conclusion that they may never again have a good economy. Even before the great recession Americans were having economic angst. Obama’s 3rd World style economic policies has made the situation even worse. The accumulation of debt is a burden around this economy and is stunting growth.

The mixed signals regarding the economy’s health are taking a toll.

Americans are growing increasingly doubtful about direction of the US economy, according to the latest survey from business-advisory firm AlixPartners.

In fact, an increasing number, some 61 percent, say they don’t expect to return to their respective pre-recession lifestyles until the spring of 2014, if ever.

What’s worse, a full 10 percent said they expect they will never return to pre-recession spending.

This is unacceptable. We are the United States of America, a nation built on wealth creation and innovation. Our citizens should have the opportunity to succeed and enrich themselves. We need the correct policies and not this State Capitalism model Obama is pushing.

Obama’s change is killing hope!

$50 Bulbs thanks to Government

Thanks to a law passed in 2007 mandating 100 watt bulbs meet certain standards. Well most didn’t, so they will no longer be sold. Well now there will be LED bulbs that meet the criteria. However the price will be steep, $50 a bulb.

NEW YORK – Two leading makers of lighting products are showcasing LED bulbs that are bright enough to replace energy-guzzling 100-watt light bulbs set to disappear from stores in January.

Their demonstrations at the LightFair trade show in Philadelphia this week mean that brighter LED bulbs will likely go on sale next year, but after a government ban takes effect.

The new bulbs will also be expensive — about $50 each — so the development may not prevent consumers from hoarding traditional bulbs.

To encourage energy efficiency, Congress passed a law in 2007 mandating that bulbs producing 100 watts worth of light meet certain efficiency goals, starting in 2012. Conventional light bulbs don’t meet those goals, so the law will prohibit making or importing them. The same rule will start apply to remaining bulbs 40 watts and above in 2014. Since January, California has already banned stores from restocking 100-watt incandescent bulbs.
