Useless tax dodger Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner made a pathetic spin. He said hard times will last for a long time  for most Americans. Clearly this is the Obama Regime’s attempt to downplay their economic failures. They are pushing that this is the best things will be.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner (GYT’-nur) says many Americans will face hard times for a long time to come.

He says President Barack Obama rescued the United States from a second Great Depression and will keep working to strengthen the economy. But Geithner says will be some time before many people feel like the country is recovering.

With a terrible economy, the Obama regime will spin the truth. They will run on Obama the symbol and not his policies.

Geithner calls for higher taxes on Small Businesses

Tim “Tax Cheat” Geithner is calling for higher taxes on small businesses. Clearly this man is  economically illiterate. Raising taxes on small businesses would destroy what’s left of the already struggling US economy.

(CNSNews.com) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.”

The administration’s plan to raise the tax rate on small businesses is part of its plan to raise taxes on all Americans who make more than $250,000 per year—including businesses that file taxes the same way individuals and families do.

The goal is obvious. Destroy small businesses so the Big Corporations in bed with the Obama regime can dominate the economy. This is State Capitalism, which was the economic model of Benito Mussolini and many 3rd World Liberation tyrants. This is Economic Fascism people.

Blogmocracy in Action

It would appear that U.S. Treasury Secretary has sent the world a message that we are relinquishing the role of economic leadership in the world:

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has told the BBC that the world “cannot depend as much on the US as it did in the past”.

He said that other major economies would have to grow more for the global economy to prosper.

He also played down any differences in policy between the US and Europe regarding deficit reduction.

Mr Geithner was speaking in Washington ahead of G8 and G20 meetings this weekend in Toronto.

The sad truth of the matter is that we are, and have been for some time, drowning in a sea of red ink, and the current administration has exacerbated this situation more than any administration in our history. The tragic part is that they show no indication of stopping any time soon and continue to throw staggering amounts of at the problem, seemingly unaware that their actions make the situation worse by the day.

The ever-increasing amounts of government (tax payer) dollars flooding the economy in lieu of, and effectively stiffing, real private sector expansion, combined with a serious contraction in the number of tax payers (due to high unemployment rates) to find these boondoggles, creates, and nurtures, a catastrophic environment that the Obama administration refuses to see.

Alas, Geithner may well be signalling that this White House will continue on its ill-fated course. If that is the case, the world will have to find a new economic champion, for the American Atlas is crumbling under the weight of the impossible burden that has been thrust upon him.

Rodan Addedum: Joe Biden now says we will never recover all the jobs lost. This is an admission of failure of Obama’s Progressive economic policies.

ice President Joe Biden gave a stark assessment of the economy today, telling an audience of supporters, “there’s no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession.”

Appearing at a fundraiser with Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.) in Milwaukee, the vice president remarked that by the time he and President Obama took office in 2008, the gross domestic product had shrunk and hundreds of thousands of jobs had been lost.

Biden admits something the Progressive Propaganda media will not, there is no Obama Economic Boom!

Just a month ago the US media was singing the praises of the Obama economic boom. They were claiming an unprecedented era in economic prosperity was emerging in America. Well a disappointing jobs report, fall in housing sales and increasing health-care premiums due to Obamacare have ended this talk. In a shocking revelation of the truth, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner admits the US economy is fragile!

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Tuesday said the US economy was “still going through an incredibly difficult period,” as he warned the impact of the crisis would be “lasting.”

“Millions of Americans are still looking for work and are suffering from the damage of a deep recession. The impact of this crisis will be lasting,” he said in prepared testimony to Congress.

While heralding progress in unwinding government stimulus spending, Geithner stressed the United States was still not out of the woods.

As much as Joe Biden wants to promote the recovery, the truth says otherwise. There is NO Obama Boom. It was a lie started by Newsweek to help the Democrats in the fall.

In other news the US spent $2 million promoting condom use among drug addicts in Kazakhstan. Your tax money at work… for other nations.
