North Korea is really ratcheting up the rhetoric. They now threaten South Korea with war, if that nation searches any North Korean ship. This is a dangerous situation and one that could spiral out of control.

NKorea warns of military action against SKorea

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – North Korea’s military says it considers South Korea’s participation in a U.S.-led program to intercept ships suspected of spreading weapons of mass destruction tantamount to a declaration of war against the North. The communist North’s military said in a statement Wednesday that it will respond with “immediate, strong military measures” if the South actually stops and searches any North Korean ships under the Proliferation Security Initiative.

The statement, carried by the North’s Korean Central News Agency, said North Korea no longer considers itself bound by the armistice that ended the Korean War, as a protest over the South’s participation.

North Korea knows what it is doing. They know that in any conflict the Media and Leftist groups would support them. This will demoralize the American people and force our politicians to back off. It is sad that we have lost the will to win wars.

North Korea would never do this if it was the America of TR, FDR, Truman, JFK or Reagan. Instead after 3 weak leaders and now an outright Marxist, they smell blood. This another of Maobama’s change.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
