A month ago Coldwarrior did a thread of a possible finding of Atlantis off the Canary Islands. Well now it turns out, there is a very real possibility that Atlantis has been found for real. American researchers have been exploring ruins in swamps near Cadiz Spain that fit the description of Atlantis. Many cultures speak of the destruction of an advanced society by floods and the survivors starting over again. I am of the belief this is true and there lost history that humans have forgotten.
(Reuters) – A U.S.-led research team may have finally located the lost city of Atlantis, the legendary metropolis believed swamped by a tsunami thousands of years ago in mud flats in southern Spain.
“This is the power of tsunamis,” head researcher Richard Freund told Reuters.
“It is just so hard to understand that it can wipe out 60 miles inland, and that’s pretty much what we’re talking about,” said Freund, a University of Hartford, Connecticut, professor who lead an international team searching for the true site of Atlantis.
To solve the age-old mystery, the team used a satellite photo of a suspected submerged city to find the site just north of Cadiz, Spain. There, buried in the vast marshlands of the Dona Ana Park, they believe that they pinpointed the ancient, multi-ringed dominion known as Atlantis.

National Geographic will have a special on this possible discovery tonight. If this turns out to be Atlantis or the city the legends are based on, this rivals the discover of Troy. This discovery will validate many theories that mainstream historians refuse to believe. For too long ancient legends of advanced lost cultures and people coming from the sky have been dismissed. The reason for this because the thought of human society reverting is a scary one and destroys many Darwinist arguments. However, mounting evidence of ancient nuclear wars and flying crafts as described in the Indian epic Mahabharata or Non Earth beings appearing in humanity’s past, could very well be real. Think about this, we are currently moving away from paper books and towards electronic books. What if a solar pulse, massive earth destructing from meteors or a nuclear war destroys electric grids? Will any non paper book survive? Nope, all that knowledge will be lost. It’s quit possible this is what happened in Atlantean times. Just think about this before you laugh at it.
Many readers here will dismiss this as nonsense. But ask yourselves, how can civilizations such as Sumerians, Indians, Mayans and Chinese all have similar legends? The idea of humanity being more advanced in the past and then losing it due to war or natural disasters is more believable than global warming.
