Cops Probe After Middle School Librarian Allegedly Says Students Are ‘Sex Workers’ To Justify Pro-Prostitution Book
Guido has been active in political and cultural hot-button issues. In 2017, Guido told the Human Rights Campaign she was canvassing for votes for a transgender Democrat political candidate. “I felt like I was actually making an impact in politics — which has always felt impenetrable in the past. It was so rewarding to get to go out and interact with other voters in a positive way,” she said.
Earlier this month, she used Facebook to raise money for abortions.
The school’s other librarian, Lisa Buffi, created a 17-page list of “LGBTQ+ Books” for children, such as “a picture book with rhyming text that encourages boys and girls to ignore common gender stereotypes,” one about a boy who transfers to a new school and begins life as a girl, and others called “The Bride Was A Boy,” “Boy Meets Boy,” and “Being Jazz: My Life As A (Transgender) Teen.”

Look at this letter that Helagu Khan sent to the Mamluk Sultan in 1260!
From the King of Kings of the East and West, the Great Khan. To Qutuz the Mamluk, who fled to escape our swords. You should think of what happened to other countries and submit to us. You have heard how we have conquered a vast empire and have purified the earth of the disorders that tainted it. We have conquered vast areas, massacring all the people. You cannot escape from the terror of our armies. Where can you flee? What road will you use to escape us? Our horses are swift, our arrows sharp, our swords like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor armies stop us. Your prayers to God will not avail against us. We are not moved by tears nor touched by lamentations. Only those who beg our protection will be safe. Hasten your reply before the fire of war is kindled. Resist and you will suffer the most terrible catastrophes. We will shatter your mosques and reveal the weakness of your God and then will kill your children and your old men together. At present you are the only enemy against whom we have to march.

from the comments
The Sultan executed the envoys bearing the letter which led to the Battle of Ain Jalut which the Mamluks won – stopping further Mongol westward expansion. In this case the Muslims did the West a solid since had the Mongols taken out the Sultanate, they would have razed Jerusalem and the path would have been open right across north Africa and into Spain and Europe.
———
The Battle of Ain Jalut was the beginning of the end for the Mongol empire. The Mamluk innovation of the horseshoe was an important factor in that battle. Another interesting fact is that the Mamluk Sultanate consisted of Russians, Turks, and Caucasians (original term: people of the Caucasus region) who were former slave soldiers that revolted and overthrew the Arab Caliph in Egypt just 10 years earlier in 1250. Mamluk literally means “slave” in Turkish.

The housing market just slid into a full-blown correction, says top economist Mark Zandi

Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi is ready to call it. He tells Fortune that we’ve officially moved from a housing boom into a “housing correction.”
The real estate data rolling in for April and May shows that the U.S. housing market is softening. New home sales fell 19% to their lowest level since April 2020. Redfin reports 19% of home listings cut their price over the past month. Inventory is rising fast, while mortgage applications and existing home sales are also falling.
This drop-off isn’t a result of seasonality, or a soft month or two. Zandi says it’s a trajectory flip: Demand is pulling back—fast—in the face of mortgage rates that have spiked dramatically.
“The housing market has peaked…everything points to a rolling over of the housing market,” Zandi says. “In terms of home sales, they’re falling sharply. Housing demand is coming down fast. Home price growth [will] go flat here pretty quickly; we will see [home] price declines in a significant number of markets.”
Housing market collapses are nothing new
2,100-year-old farmstead in Israel found ‘frozen in time’ after owners disappeared
Archaeologists in Israel have unearthed the 2,100-year-old remains of a farmstead whose owners likely abandoned it in a hurry, possibly to avoid an impending military invasion.
“We were very lucky to discover a time-capsule, frozen in time, in which the finds remained where they were left by the occupants of the site,” which is near Israel’s northern Sea of Galilee, archaeologist Amani Abu-Hamid, who is leading the excavation for the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), said in a statement.
The excavators discovered ancient, still-intact storage jars at the site, as well as weights for weaving looms on a shelf, suggesting that whoever lived there left them behind when they quickly departed.

Ramstein rethinks Pride Month events after critics bash ‘Drag Queen Story Time’ for kids
Ramstein, the largest American air base in Germany and headquarters of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, was slated to host local drag queen Stacey Teed at a 30-minute story time event for kids at an on-base library, according to a since-deleted Facebook event.
“Be sure to wear your brightest and most colorful outfits!” the post read.
But the event created a furor. Chief among its opponents was Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who confirmed the Air Force had canceled “Drag Queen Story Time” the same week he wrote to Secretary Frank Kendall demanding the service “immediately cancel this politically divisive event, and take appropriate disciplinary action against all involved in allowing this gross abuse of taxpayer funding to place children in a sexualized environment.”

The Left Dominates the Legal System, and They’re Taking Down GOP Election Attorneys en Masse
This year, they launched “The 65 Project” to brazenly accomplish it, named after the 65 lawsuits Trump-affiliated attorneys filed after the election.
The left has developed a powerfully coordinated legal election effort under the leadership of left-wing lawyer Marc Elias.
.
.
Now they’re coming after elected attorneys too. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who has been out on the forefront investigating election fraud, had 12 bar complaints filed against him and his staff by radical activist Democratic Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs over election issues. He beat them, but she will just figure out reasons to file more; continue to throw mud until something sticks.
.
.
The State Bar of Texas is going after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, suing him for investigating election fraud in the 2020 election. Paxton asked the U.S. Supreme Court to enjoin Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin for breaking election laws by implementing voting changes during the COVID-19 pandemic without the approval of state legislators. SCOTUS rejected his request 7-2 for lack of standing, a sign that it wasn’t completely without merit. So now the bar is alleging he violated a catch-all, vague rule of professional misconduct prohibiting “dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation.”

All of this is terrible for Biden’s poll numbers, but that’s only a problem for Hunter Biden and whatever Chinese, Ukrainian or American oligarchs are paying his crack bills this week..

This is not a conspiracy theory. The only assumption being made here is that the Left is achieving its stated goals as the result of a plan rather than a series of accidental coincidences.

The serious Global Warming
gas’ in the atmosphere is not the much touted CO2. It’s the ubiquitous water vapour (AKA clouds). Surprisingly cloud formation is sparked by increased solar storms caused by sunspots, and inflow of ionising particles streaming onto the Earth’s Magnetosphere.
It’s not so much the increases in cloud that results in poor solar cell power generation, it’s the increases in greenhouse gasses (AKA water vapour) that it the main culprit.
Now remember that the Earth is currently in the middle of an ICEAGE where the nominal temperature is many degrees lower that the current mean. When the sun switches off it’s ionising streams and becomes quiet, Earth reverts to the base condition of being a COLD ice covered planet. Not everywhere but certainly in many places that host large populations and where food is grown. This possible long term Solar Minimum as happened about 400 years ago sparked a Little Ice Age that lasted for many decades and killed tens of millions when the world population was relatively much smaller. In other words Earth reverted to the standard of being inside an Ice Age Cycle, where Low Solar activity sparks LOW Cloud formation and a decrease in warming water vapour in the atmosphere that (with CO2 and CH4) that keeps Earth’s atmosphere warm and agriculturally productive.
This approaching (assumed 400 year Solar cycle) COLD will kill billions, not through cold per se, though that will see tens of millions die of cold related causes. The main killer of a COLD cycle will be hunger, as the globe’s food production dives. Still as we all starve the days will be sunny and the solar panels will be churning out power, not that they will be up to the task of keeping us warm, but at least the lights may still be on!

Just thinking of all things 2nd. Amendment et al….. and looking for solutions to automatics
Just a thought…
I was watching “The Highwaymen” movie a while back (great movie!), and the FBI sub-agent characters in it were tracking down Bonnie and Clyde.
They realised they needed more firepower to counter the Barrow gang weapons, so went into a local gun shop and purchased a BAR, Thompson sub machine gun and assorted other nasties…..as easy as that!
In light of all the shooting dramas in the US, it got me thinking…the yanks are trying to control these shootings but want to keep the second amendment intact….okay…..so how did they get sub machine guns etc, off the streets without everyone having a conniption fit about the second amendment?
It’s called the National Firearms Act of 1934…..passed by the US Congress to counter Dillinger and Co.
It put extremely high yearly taxes on these types of weapons….about $4,000 in todays money…..gaoling anyone who didn’t comply with tax evasion….the same laws that got Al Capone.
A couple of years later, fully automatic weapons were no longer used.
There’s their solution.
I sent an expert this video a few days ago
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1urPMMB77c
And he responded:
Thanks but reads almost like an apology for Russian incompetence. Arkin in Newsweek is very accurate, if you are prepared to overlook his politics.
Exclusive: Russia’s Air War in Ukraine is a Total Failure, New Data Show – Newsweek
Russia has fired more missiles in the Ukraine war than have been fired by any country in any conflict since WWII—and has shockingly little to show for it. Russia has fired more missiles in the Ukraine war than have been fired by any country in any other conflict since World War II—a record, according to air-warfare experts and new data obtained exclusively by Newsweek, that has failed to pay off for Moscow. “Just think of this terrible figure: 2,154 Russian missiles hit our cities and communities in a little over two months,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last week. “The Russian bombing of Ukraine does not cease any day or night.” But the bombing campaign has done little to help win Putin’s war, exposing key lessons about the future of warfare. Two bridges tell the story: one in North Vietnam 50 years ago and one from last week, in the Ukrainian beach resort of Zatoka on the Black Sea coast.
The Ukes have done quite a few good analyses. Here are some of my comments to Arkin responding to his essay:
Some observations:
CEPs of the Russian missiles are way below spec compared to our missiles – if you pay attention to satellite imagery with craters the CEPs are hundreds of feet – like the IMU was running wild and the TERCOM, DSMAC and Glonass were not working;
For the last month we have seen increasing use of exotica – Kh-59M KAZOO variants including anti-ship, Kh-35U Kharpunski ASCM, P-800 Oniks/Yakhont STROBILE ASCM and now demothballed 1970s Kh-22 KITCHEN ASCM used to attack ground targets – the anti-ship missiles are obscenely expensive due to the radar seekers, and in general lack the accuracy for point ground targets flying on midcourse inertial alone. Yesterday ostensibly multiple Kh-22 against battlefield targets in Donbas where hitting anything would be pure dumb luck;
Huge number of mistargeting instances where they hit abandoned or empty warehouses and buildings;
Russian EWSP appears largely ineffective against 1980s Ukrainian S-300PT, S-300PS, S-300V1 and Buk M1 SAMs with SARH seekers – amazing – even with limited upgrades these are dinosaur SAMs;
This Russian air campaign is a benchmark in incompetence.
This is also good but broader: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2022/05/22/putins-catastrophic-war-has-exposed-russia-third-rate-power/
Russian incompetence and corruption exceeded even my expectations.

The founders were quite brilliant; they knew that letting the camel’s nose under the tent with “a few requirements” for gun ownership would soon result in the whole camel getting in and letting only those people acceptable to the regime in charge have some very closely controlled weapons.
The problem in Uvalde is not that an 18 year old got a gun and went on a rampage. The root cause of the problem is a nation that has lost its spiritual values and raises 18 year olds that are capable of going on such rampages. Secondary causes include this whole absurd notion of “gun-free zones” that will “prevent a terrible shooting such as happened at Columbine” when the reality is actually the opposite. Unhinged losers like this 18 year old pick soft targets where they know that they are likely going to be the only armed person on site for quite some time. They usually aren’t smart enough to have an exit plan or are seeking suicide by cop.
The primary answer to this is Christians reaching out to their neighbors and witnessing to them and showing care and compassion. Secondary answers include repealing this absurd gun-free zone legislation and realizing that more laws don’t make for a safer society. So if guns were illegal, the 18 year old couldn’t have gotten one? If people believe that, they must also believe it is impossible to get black market fentanyl, heroin, or crack since those are flat out illegal and banned.

THAT is what used to happen in Oz back in the day. By 11 we joined the scouts or Sea Scouts or if very lucky Air Scouts, and learned bush craft and adventurous training like caving, climbing and bush walking. At 13 many also joined the Military Cadet Corps at school. I’d say that 80% of the kids at school were in Cadet units while the balance were scouts. About 20% were both scouts AND Cadets.
In the Cadet Corps run by the Australian Army and Navy everyone learned safe weapon handling and had weekly shoots using sub-caliber rifles on 50 meter ranges at most schools. Cadets also attended at least 4 Range Days a year at Rifle Ranges where we fired full caliber weapons, like .303 Lee Enfield Rifles from WWI and WWII, Owen Machine carbines (sub-machine guns) and .303 BREN guns (light section matching guns). Annual Camp was for ALL Cadets and troop trains ran shuttles in our State’s military camp to Singleton Camp. We’d live in 180 lb tents with WWI duckboards, Hay Paliasses and blankets to sleep on and masses feeding and ablution areas. We study minor infantry tactics, covert movement and stalking, camouflage and concealment, navigation and map reading, with sneaky ‘lantern’ stalks at night and plenty of Route Marches in boots with packs and rifles.
The lucky ones at some schools had their own 25 pounder artillery Batteries that they would lay and fire during ‘camp’. We got to fire, 4.2 inch mortars, .303 Medium Vickers Machine Guns as well as BRENS and rifles on the various ranges as well. Safety was paramount and I must have seen the compulsory movies ‘Ammunition Accidents Need Not Happen’ about a gazillion times. New lived under canvass for the 2 weeks with about 5,000 Cadets ‘in camp’ at any one time. There were also exercises to learn the basics of the Attack and Defence as well as tactical movement and basic tactics.Total numbers of Army Cadets in the State of New South Wales was about 80,000. Many would then progress after they left school to the CMF (Citizens’ Military Forces) as partly trained recruits.
We had a ball in the Cadets. Nobody EVER got shot or blown up… ever! Food was pretty basic but VERY filling. Cadets could specialise in everything from combat Medic to Gunner, to Infanteer to Mortar man, Intelligence, Signaller, Assault Pioneer (basic engineering).
Effectively even growing up in a large city like Sydney I spent most of my youth 7-18 living outdoors in the bush on weekends doing adventurous stuff, and during school time balancing schoolwork with cubs, scouts or cadets. There was NO TIME to get into trouble. WE did have our brushes with danger. Caught in two different bushfires and one dodgy climbing incident and a SCUBA diving incident. We however giving the level of exposure we had growing up, were all supremely confident that we could think our way out of any situation we found ourselves in….. and did!

Russia totally mis-understood the strategic imperatives on war in the Ukraine. Totally!
First Russia could only manage to field about 180,000 troops which was up against 250,000 Ukrainians who had been fighting on and off for 5 years already and were combat hardened. Normally an attacker needs 3-4 to one defender to be successful. The Russians were counting on a collapse of Ukraine forces and overwhelming technological weapon systems to make up for the lack of Russian numbers. That was totally wishful thinking. The Ukrainians were fighting on home territory which gave then a ‘home town’ advantage. It wasn’t;t even that the Russians used Concentration of Forces to full effect to locally over come their lack of numbers deployed on the attack. Russia spread their forces all over the place so that nowhere were they strong enough to prevail.
When it came to advanced weapons, Russian corruption found Russians VERY short of smart systems and they had to rely instead in dumb bombs. Russian weapon stocks were poorly stored and were totally degraded by the time they were hauled out to use.

Ukraine is currently losing 100 men KIA per day and around 2-300 WIA daily. Losing 2500-3000 a week can’t go on forever in a population of just 250,000 combatants. What those sort of casualties mean is that the Ukrainian military will cease to be an active force in about 3 months, even given that returning wounded will prolong the timings a little more.
Russian air activity has a very different focus than Western and especially US Airpower. Russians look to local short term air superiority over their active forces that are engaged in fighting. Western strategic seeks total domination of the airspace and complete Air Superiority over the Battle Space, by bringing to bear overwhelming superior integrated offensive airpower. Russia has local air superiority anywhere it wants it over the Ukraine but only when Russian aircraft are currently over that particular battle space.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1urPMMB77c
I found this site to help explain what is actually happening in Ukraine. The reality is that Ukraine is losing the Air War. It can only put up around 4-6 sorties a day against the Russians 200+ sorties per day. Ukrainian airfields are wrecked and can only remain operational for brief periods. Ukrainian aircraft operate from rough airfields in small (4) numbers, and are not being concentrated anymore. Moving logistics from West to East and South is getting more difficult by the day for the Ukrainians. The Slovenian S-300 AAA missiles, donated to Ukraine were destroyed soon after they crossed the Polish border and well before they could be shipped to the Donbas.
Ukraine is running out of manpower and equipment is short. Russia has serious corruption problems and has used almost all of its smart munitions. Russia probably has enough reserves for one final push onto Odessa but not much more. Only a massive influx of up to date Western weapons will save Ukraine now and those weapons will also need Western soldiers to use they effectively. There are already Brit SAS in country covertly as well as US Special Forces and French instructors. They have been lucky so far and their casualty rates are low enough to be hidden. This is not going to be a clean win. If Russia is pushed to the brink with overt Western Forces, they will use tactical nukes on Ukrainian soil as Russian tactical doctrine demands.
Think about that when contemplating an Ukrainian demand for No-Fly Zones.
The only winner in that scenario is China!

The USS Harry Truman is not at war. It is not in harm’s way. It is in the Mediterranean Sea near the conflict in Ukraine but not in the Black Sea

Inside a Biden White House adrift
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-white-house-adrift-rcna30121
Biden is rattled by his sinking approval ratings and is looking to regain voters’ confidence that he can provide the sure-handed leadership he promised during the campaign, people close to the president say.
.
.
Multiple people close to the White House said they’ve heard that chief of staff Ron Klain will depart at some point after the midterms, and one has heard him discuss leaving.
Should Klain go, a potential successor is Anita Dunn [Anita Dunn?? oh please oh please oh please…]
.
.
Amid a rolling series of calamities, Biden’s feeling lately is that he just can’t catch a break. “Biden is frustrated. If it’s not one thing, it’s another,” said a person close to the president.
An assumption baked into Biden’s candidacy was that he would preside over a smoothly running administration by dint of his decades of experience in public office. Yet there are signs of managerial breakdowns that have angered both him and his party.
“Catching a break” is not in the POTUS job description, you dolt. Remember ‘the buck stops here’?
.
.
Biden has vented to aides about not getting credit from Americans or the news media for actions he believes have helped the country, particularly on the economy. Unemployment rates have dropped to below 4 percent — pre-pandemic levels — but polling indicates most Americans believe the economy is in bad shape. Biden grouses that Republicans aren’t getting their share of the blame for legislative gridlock in Congress, while he’s repeatedly faulted for not getting his agenda passed.

I’m in a rural deep Trump county with the county seat being a very blue college town a few hours away. No Bide signs anywhere here. But the local paper this weeks published an op-ed and 4 Letters to the Editor. All advocating for much more serious gun control. The Google AI And MSM consortium are going to blanket the country with the negative effects of the 2A. IF gun owners go tribal and isolate instead of grouping together the 2A will be amended.

400 million guns can be turned into 4 million guns by passing a law restricting ownership. Let the 4 million squeaky wheels keep their guns. Pay everyone else $10,000 with a threat of government oversight. It can be done with the 2A in place and a media blackout and propaganda.
The only thing that stops it are the Trump appointed judges.
It’s not hard to handicap the gun supply chain. Disable mailing of gun stuff. Fund a local effort to buy up ammo. Force all manufacturing into Texas. If a shipping Union goes gun woke then gun sales won’t move. The feds can also slow gun checks down to a crawl.
Only local gun owners will survive the restrictions. Cabela’s might be the only store left to buy guns and ammo.
The reason online gun stuff will be impacted is because that is how the losers buy their stuff. Losers as in the insane violent minds. But the GoP seems to have very little interest in addressing the violent minds and getting ahead of the issue.

Russians tend to look for the negative, and like their weather, can be a bit morose. Aussies on the other hand tend to be nature’s optimists and have a sense of the ridiculous that puts things into perspective. Really? Most Americans believe the economy is in bad shape? Despite a 4% (probably made up number) level? Why ever would Americans believe the economy is in bad shape? I mean, stores are fully stocked with goods whenever they need them. Oh. Wait. OK, gas prices are reasonable and affordable, the same as during the previous administration. Oh. Well, maybe not. Prices are stable and inflation under control. Hmmm, maybe I should try again. Stock market is in good shape and peoples’ retirement funds continue to gain ground. Oh.
Like I said, I’m not sure I believe the 4% number given that all businesses are trying to find people and just can’t find anyone yet workforce participation doesn’t seem to be recovering all that much – it is still well below pre-pandemic levels and was only recovering from the Obama administration during the Trump administration. It is totally absurd that they somehow think that one number indicates the economy is in great shape when there are supply chain shortages, record high gas prices, and inflation rates not seen since the Carter administration. This is an administration (and apparently media since they wrote the piece trying to cover for the administration) that is totally out of touch with reality.

Again, parsing the statements, “It looks like Trump forces are going directly after the legal system itself and that should concern everyone” makes it sound like Trump supporters are attempting to subvert the legal system which is obviously not true and makes no sense. Trump supporters are attempting to use the legal system to ensure that free, fair, and open elections are held, free of fraud and shenanigans. However, when you look at this from the standpoint of the authors of this piece of propaganda, the statement makes total sense. “Issue One” the euphemistically defined “election watchdog group” is obviously a DNC/Marxist front organization that conducts activities to make sure that left-wing / communist nominees get elected. At this point, in the areas this group operates, the democrats/communists control the election and legal system to ensure only liberal democrats get elected and that any challenges to the fraudulent voting operations in which they engage are suppressed by their sympathizers in the legal system. The fact that the Trump organization is seeking to shine light on this widespread fraud and abuse truly is “going after the legal system” in their world and causing concern to everyone [that matters to them]. Namely themselves and the people they are getting installed in government positions. Thanks

I’m on an iPhone with 4G. The towers they rolled out for 5G here have 4G backwards compatibility. I believe T-Mobile will give you a free phone if you sign a 2 year contract.
They show a Galaxy 8 here in their store but it’s labeled 5G. Tmobile has been fine as a service. ATT was also fine. Tmobile has a senior discount plans or free netflix if you get a different plan. I was paying $55 a month for 2 phones on the senior plan(unlimited data). I switched to a no data version for $20 a month last year. I do my data over wifi. For one phone.
I’d jump over if they give you a free phone. Coverage would be the only issue.

ENGINEERED FAMINE: California diverting water flows into the ocean, depriving rice farmers of necessary irrigation to grow food
https://starvation.news/2022-05-31-engineered-famine-california-deprives-farmers-of-water.html
All across California, residents are being told to scrimp and save water because of historic drought conditions. Meanwhile, state officials are dumping freshwater into the ocean while intentionally depriving rice farmers of the water they need to grow food.
Colusa County in Northern California is the top producer of rice in the Sacramento Valley. The area generates more than 150,000 acres of rice in a normal year – but as you can probably tell by now, 2022 is anything but a normal year.
Officials there say that only a fraction of the usual rice crop will be grown there this year, delivering a massive financial blow to rice farmers, workers and suppliers.
“In April 2022, the water districts serving Colusa County were given their final allocation for the 2022 growing season – 0.4-acre feet per acre,” reads a statement from Colusa County officials.
“This allocation is not enough to support rice production, and estimates show that the Sacramento Valley will fallow 370,000 of 450,000 acres in the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors service area, primarily in Colusa and Glenn Counties. Currently, less than 7,000 acres are estimated to be planted in Colusa County, resulting in a direct financial loss to growers in excess of $270 million.”
Meanwhile, 50 percent of California’s water flows right out into the Pacific Ocean, a policy that was enacted for “environmental” purposes to save the Delta smelt, an “endangered” fish species.
.
.
Not only will there not be enough rice to supply local, state and export needs, but everyone and everything up and down the supply chain will also suffer. This includes equipment suppliers, farm bag producers, mills, aerial applicators, crop dusters, pesticide and fertilizer dealers and ground applicators, among many others.
“The economic devastation is unprecedented,” Tyler added. “People aren’t dying, but businesses and communities are.”

https://freebeacon.com/biden-administration/no-free-lunch-biden-admin-will-pull-meal-funding-for-schools-that-dont-comply-with-its-lgbt-agenda/
The Biden administration is requiring schools to comply with its LGBT policies or lose billions in federal funding for school lunches.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service announced in May it will prevent low-income students from participating in its National School Lunch Program if their public school does not adopt the administration’s interpretation of Title IX, which holds that the federal civil rights law’s provision against discrimination based on sex includes designations of sexual orientation and gender identity. The move was originally reported by The Center Square.

‘We were all wrong’: how Germany got hooked on Russian energy
shut down your nuke plants, quit coal and then wonder wtf just happened.
An arrangement that began as a peacetime opening to a former foe has turned into an instrument of aggression. Germany is now funding Russia’s war. In the first two months after the start of Russia’s assault on Ukraine, Germany is estimated to have paid nearly €8.3bn for Russian energy – money used by Moscow to prop up the rouble and buy the artillery shells firing at Ukrainian positions in Donetsk. In that time, EU countries are estimated to have paid a total of €39bn for Russian energy, more than double the sum they have given to help Ukraine defend itself. The irony is painful. “For thirty years, Germans lectured Ukrainians about fascism,” the historian Timothy Snyder wrote recently. “When fascism actually arrived, Germans funded it, and Ukrainians died fighting it.”

Freaking NORWAY??
TOO FAR: Norway to track citizens food purchases
It’s happening. Norway is heading towards a complete control society where the state wants to know everything you do.
We have earlier talked about how Norway is a leading country when it comes to digital ID. It is almost a must in order to live modern life. People have to use it for online banking and many other things.
Now it turns out Norway wants even more control over citizens. The State Statistics Central bureau (SSB) in Norway is now demanding to know the food purchases of citizens and track all card payments.
They were central in establishing a “folk register” in Norway after the second world war, which led to people getting a unique ID number called “birth number”. This bureau already knows where people live and how much income they have, but now they also want to track exactly everything that you buy in the grocery store. They want to know every single food item that you buy.
The Norwegian state literally wants to know what you ate for lunch!
This is going too far.
This latest move is actually going pretty far in going towards a control society. We are now going full steam ahead. They have required almost all of the large grocery store chains in Norway to share their receipt data with the state.
They have also required a card terminal company called Nets to share detailed information with the state on all transactions. Some 80% of card payments done in grocery stores in Norway is done via this company.
“A connection with payment transactions done with debit card and grocery store receipts enables SSB [the state statistics bureau] to connect payment transactions and receipts in over 70% of daily grocery shopping” the state run bureau said in a statement on its website.
So imagine that! Norway is going to connect payment details done with card payments and grocery store receipts to figure out exactly what kind of food people are buying, and who is buying it. In other words, Norway will track exactly what kind of food citizens are buying. We are talking about a new level of state control here.
The state will know what you had for breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything. Cola, ham, chicken, steak, you name it. The state will see it all.

I should add that I am not saying this to appear callous or indifferent, the thing is, however, that while people may be sympathetic and concerned about solutions, I don’t think anyone thinks that this administration has the solution to any problems, let alone the problem of violent actions. They are letting unvetted people in the southern border, allowing the cartels and coyotes to roam free and this bunch thinks they can solve the problem of mass killings?

OPEC+ backs bigger output increase, clearing Saudi Arabia to ramp up oil production to offset Russian shortfalls
OPEC+ and its allies agreed Thursday to increase oil production more than expected, opening the door for Saudi Arabia to ramp up its own output if wartime sanctions force Russia to pump less.
The oil group will boost output by 648,000 barrels a day in July and August, up from its prior monthly increases of about 400,000 bpd. But crude prices reversed earlier losses to turn higher.

To Promote Public Safety, Michigan Authorizes Cops To Rob Travelers at Airports
The change represents a substantial reversal of civil forfeiture reforms aimed at protecting innocent property owners.
https://reason.com/2022/06/02/michigan-cops-rob-travelers-airports/
“Traveling with cash is not a crime,” notes Institute for Justice senior attorney Dan Alban. “People regularly fly with large amounts of cash for a wide variety of completely legitimate reasons related to their business or personal finances. Allowing authorities to take air travelers’ cash without a criminal conviction, simply because they have a large sum of money, is a blatant violation of their rights. This will lead to innocent people losing their money and is a massive step in the wrong direction by Michigan lawmakers.”

Correct. Same thing if you buy one online.
You can only buy handguns in your state of residence. You can buy long guns in the immediately adjacent states, though (and walk out of the store with them).

Well, Discovery Plus has decided to start pushing revisionist history as fact now. Every commercial break on Hulu I get an ad for some crap called The Book of Queer that lists a whole bunch of historical figures and then says they were all queer. Most of them were only insinuated as such in recent leftist revisionist history like with Abraham Lincoln. It’s a total bullshit program masquerading as fact. Luckily they’ll stop pushing it once alphabet month is over, unfortunately, they’re going to push it for a whole month.

Even travelling internationally you can take up to $10,000 without declaring it. If you carry more that $10k then you simply declare it and it’s all good. Crossing an international border without declaring in excess of $10k leads to a fine…. about 1-3% nominally, although you can be fined the whole shebang if customs take a dislike to you!
An associate and myself travelled to Bangkok to bribe a bank employee to gain access to some account details on behalf of a client, that the bank was corruptly withholding from him. The Army Bank of Thailand was holding a very large sum of money and refused all legal approaches to release either the details or the cash! There was an under the table transfer of cash to bank officials to hide the cash from both our client and the NZ Taxation Department.
The plan was to download the dats directly from an off-line machine and print off the details. For this ‘service’ our man inside the Army Bank of Thailand got his $10k. On the day before the data was going to be accessed, somebody talked and the data was transferred to a microfiche stored in the bank’s vaults. The ‘man inside’ was told in no uncertain terms that if he wanted to get paid we needed the data and we didn’t care how tough it was to access. He got caught with his fingers in the ‘cookie jar’, and the guys (actually a Chinese Triad_ who had apparently leaked to the bank decided to also go for the $10 K as a sweetner. We decided to ‘Get the Hell Outta Dodge’ and checked out of the hotel, just as the goon squad arrived. My ‘minder’ a NZSAS heavy doing some moonlighting immediately ‘departed’ for one of the SAS safe houses just over the Laos border, leaving ‘muggins’ to look out for myself. My ‘minder ‘ took the $10k with him for safety, and I left by the freight elevator, phoned the Canadian Embassy where a ‘friendly Mounty mate of mine’ was stationed, doing anti-drug intel gathering, and asked him to escort me to the airport with’ Canak’ heavies in tow, and wait until I was aboard a flight out of Thailand.
Meanwhile my NZSAS ‘escort’ arranged a flight out of Laos, arrived eventually in Auckland with a mixture of his personal walking around money plus the $10k. He got nabbed at the NZ border (he forgot that he was travelling alone now and had MORE than $10k in his pockets) and held. When he had detailed the story of our expedition, the Customs guys broke up laughing, and gave him all of his cash back! Theritacally they could have confiscated the LOT!

Unlike those infamous episodes, this one is not contained to oil.
“Now we have an oil crisis, a gas crisis and an electricity crisis at the same time,” Fatih Birol, head of the International Energy Agency watchdog group, told Der Spiegel in an interview published this week. “This energy crisis is much bigger than the oil crises of the 1970s and 1980s.
