So, it seems two light planes collided near the Marana, AZ airport. This will probably make the evening news tonight as part of the campaign to discredit Trump.

Never mind the fact that Marana has no tower, and is 100% uncontrolled airspace. Facts be damned.

Xi and the CCP have a third apple to fall to them in the Second Island Chain.

    The PLAN will be happy!

This time it’s theCook Islands’ Prime Minister Mark Brown who earns his far Swiss Bank deposits from China. And he didn’t even had to share his ill gotten gains with the rest of his Cabinet! He just arrived back from Beijing Monday with a big smile on his face.10 days ago he just disappeared and turned up in China where he signed an agreement to ‘fix’ the Rarotonga fresh water supply. China built a ‘newer’ replacement fresh water system after the last system was installed a couple of years ago that failed totally due to Chinese engineering incompetence.

PM Brown has ‘given’ China access to a massive fishery. One of the planet’s largest, as well as giving China exclusive deep water mining right for rare earth mineral nodules lying on the Pacific Ocean floor, thus preventing the West access to these strategic minerals.

The Cook Islands chain has a long term Charter with New Zealand to Provide a Rarotonga Police Force. NZ Defence agreement to protect the Rarotonga Economic Boundaries, Foreign Affairs support, the Use of NZ Passports for Rarotongans, Provision for the use of NZ currency in Rarotonga. About half of all Ratotongan citizens live in NZ!

Air NZ built the runway on Rarotonga as well as the tourist industry and the major hotel on Taro. ALL of that has been swept by fiat from a rogue Prime Minister with no notice and in total abrogation of the NZ Rarotonga Charter Agreement. I can guarantee that China will saddle Raro with the typical Belt and Road type agreement, then change the terms and load the Island chain with massive debt. PM Brown did this all by himself and didn’t even tell his own Party, let alone the Opposition Leader, who is also named Brown ( no relation) an idiot woman who has trouble stringing two words together. The NZ Security Service was caught totally out of the loop. The US security services were also caught totally off guard. Raro’s government in a Free Association Agreement with NZ, is run by two tribal based multi-family groups, who have a chequered career for unlawful scams, money laundering, and drugs running between South America and Asia and tribal based corruption.

Whenever there is a Labour Party in power in NZ there seems to be a major corruption scandal that NZ Labour governments just sweep under the rug!

Xi’s China now has yet another Naval / fishing fleet/ Oceanic deep sea mining fleet, in the key Pacific centre and Second Island Chain. This can’t stand! There are many VERY pissed off Rarotongans rioting in Rarotonga but just words and shock from the NZ Government

    Air fryer tip.

Air fryers create fried food using less oil. But those aerosol oil sprays are relatively expensive per ounce.

What I do is place the food I want to air fry into a gallon ziplock and add about 1/4oz ( 8g in metric ) of coconut oil and then massage the contents thoroughly to coat the food in oil.

Today lunch will be baby yellow potatoes boiled for 20 minutes then oil coated and finished off at 350F for 10 minutes.

Now, some of you may be thinking I am wasting money using the ziplock bag. Spray oil would be cheaper.

However, Mr ziplock bag used for oil coating actually lives in the freezer when not in use. Only discarded when its zippy thing wears out.

Lunch will be baked baby potatoes and a can of chunky tuna with mayo, the one that was re-called then un-recalled. The tuna, not the mayo.

I am putting my answer to the reason for the upside down hard landing in Toronto in a sealed envelope and waiting for the results of the accident investigation.

I have done a lot of research and I cannot find anyone else on the Internet that has even mentioned this possibility.

    * inside the sealed envelope *

Radio altimeter 2 was inoperative. But the yappy voice that calls out altitude was connected to it. Rad alt 2 is on the FO side. FO was doing the landing.

Hence no flare. No annoying voice calling out the altitude when at 500ft then 50,40,30,20…

Gusting snow made visual assessment of altitude difficult, and also an inexperienced pilot would be relying on the voice whispering the altitude.

    Supporting data.

Dispatch notice mentions Radio Altimeter 2 may be placarded deactivated.

    https://x.com/houmanhemmati/status/1892344673169178660/photo/1

Exhibit 2, a normal CRJ-900 landing. Notice annoying voice calling out altitude.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z9zUTAaHo4

    The nice lady is innocent!!!!!!

With a non-operational rad alt on the right hand site the left hand seat pilot should have done the landing.

    @ Possum:
As an example of what a nightmare this all is. If you withdraw any money from a personal pension in the UK you are taxed on that withdrawal.

Unless you prove that you are residing outside the UK, then it is tax free.

To prove you are residing outside the UK you need a statement from the IRS in the US to the UK tax people. Then the IRS taxes you instead. Seems fair to me.

Would be nice if the UK IRS and the USA IRS could get their collective shit together.

Not even attempted to get the US social security administration and the UK National Insurance people talking together yet.

UK and US have an arrangement where Social Security and National Insurance payments are pooled together. A mutual agreement.

Oh well, maybe I will attempt that one Monday.

    1100 feet per minute ?????

    You’ve got to be joking!

The video looked a VERY high decent rate where the airplane touched down VERY long and NO ROUND OUT. If you screwed the approach that much it’s a GO AROUND every time. We had a radical runway change onto RW 06 at LAX at night after 10 hours in the air London – LAX with patchy fog at LAX. I was flying the Boeing 747 and tower gave us the change when we are maintaining 5,000 feet cruising down the coast from the North.
We were over the coast and had been planned for a RW25 arrival. The only way to make it onto RW06 was to close the thrust levers and lower the nose. The skipper has an illegal visitor on the flight deck and he was showing off. Yes he was an idiot.

Flying a heavy jet one NEVER UNSPOOLED the engine close to the ground. A BIG FAN has LOTS of inertia and from unspooled, with a handful of power applied, NOTHING much happens for 4-5 seconds while the engines begin to spool up to where they give you actual thrust. Meantime you are actually falling out of the air! The idiot skipper said just close the thrust levers, lower the nose you’ll make it. NOPE not with me flying, the shortest runway at LAX, in fog with last second changes from 5,000 feet when we are almost overhead the runway threshold! You want to fly like that I’ll write you up if we survive. The Flight Engineer agreed with me!

The skipper backed down and swallowed his pride and stopped showing off!!!

I asked for Radar steers onto a 3,000 foot 10 mile finals on whatever Runway desired ATC, but it wasn’t going to be RW 06 from 5,000 feet while we just a couple of miles west of that threshold and over the coast in fog.Eventually ATC vectored us onto an approach profile for Runway 25 and stepped us down to 3,000 feet.

There are idiots flying airplanes all over the place. It’s bad enough to have to save the airplane in an emergency let alone flying like an idiot. Gender politics, and flying NEVER MIX

    🙂

Left high school at 18. Did a 4 year degree in aeronautics. Then got certification as an instructor on single engine aircraft, not a silly little 2 seat Cessna but a 6 seat one. To build up hours.

Seen yelling she had less than 1500 flight hours when she got her ATP. Yep! possible, there is a waiver for any pilot that did a 4 year degree in aeronautics, 1250 is that requirement.

Anyway her inexperience is not really an issue is it?

    How do pilots gain experience?

They fly as FO under the supervision of the PIC. For several years before they transition to the left seat.

She may indeed have been the PF, pilot flying. But what the fuck was the PM pilot monitoring doing? What was he monitoring?

The report on this incident that will be released in about three years time will be interesting reading.

Office closes at 5pm. If it is closed they say ” UNDELIVERABLE ” and then we go into this endless cycle of where the fuck is it now.

Also had ” address incorrect ” for a 16lbs sack of cat food that when I eventually found it the address and apartment number was 100% correct, it just was heavy….

    @ Possum:

I’m pretty sure they have a dropdown menu of excuses for not delivering things. Where I live, they seem to pick them at random, often before even leaving the Post Office in the morning. I’ve seen them put “mailbox full” or “no access to delivery location” at 6:30 in the morning, but they don’t make it over here until 11:00 or so (and the mailbox is on the street).

#BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Eric Swalwell PANICS when I ask about his Chinese spy girlfriend Fang Fang, and whether that’s a bigger “national security threat” than Elon Musk

I sat next to a drunk Swalwell at dinner for 90 minutes. He was IMMEDIATELY compromised by a group of lobbyists he’d JUST MET, spilling intimate details about his job and asking for HELP CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.

MASSIVE national security threat. This guy should have his clearances revoked.

Swalwell spent his dinner bragging about “ORGlES” on Capitol Hill, telling them he’s bored of his wife and “only wants to f*ck tens.”

Worse, he spoke about ABUSlNG his power on the House Intel Committee (which he’s since been booted off of), saying he pushed to SUBPOENA Ivanka Trump because she’s “hot as f*ck”

THIS GUY MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEE. He CANNOT keep his freaking mouth shut.

After I began questioning him, Swalwell jumped back into the group of lobbyists to hide from me, but I pressed on.

Dude looked absolutely TERRIFIED and 100% guilty. He knows he’s been caught.

More to come later. I have about an hour and a half of audio to go through

And big shoutout to @LauraLoomer for assisting me with digging into this clown while I was focusing on listening in!

If you are thinly slicing a green pepper while making Fajitas for lunch for a family or friends and suddenly you see red streaks on the green pepper slices, then throw them away. Your guests will just have to make do with the onions you sliced previously.

If you are cooking a meal for one, then ignore the red streaks.

To be honest, no red streaks on my pepper but, the nail on my left thumb won’t need cutting for a while.

While we are on the subject of wounds occurring during meal preparation I was surprised that in 1998 when I came to the USA and made a meager living washing dishes and chopping up things in a restaurant that blue Band-Aids were not compulsory here.

    They may be now.

Why blue by law in the UK? Not many foods are blue. Easy to spot in soup etc when one falls off.

Anyway now in the USA they are widely available and they have metal strips in them which set off alarms in products produced by food manufacturing plants.

This is a really good interview with a retired CW3 who was in the 12th Aviation Battalion until 2023 and has extensive experience flying those routes.

A couple of interesting points: The ceiling on Helicopter Route 4 is 200 feet, but it’s 200 feet MSL plus or minus 75 feet. That means anywhere from 125 to 275 feet, measured with the barometric altimeter. Airliners (and ATC) are using AGL (height above the ground), measured with the radar altimeter.

Second, there is no specified width for Route 4. It’s shown on the charts as hugging the western bank of the river, but that’s just how the charts are printed. In practice, it’s “over the river.”

“As technology evolves, we need to build up societal immunity around information manipulation. Because research has shown that pre-bunking is much more successful than debunking. Pre-bunking is basically the opposite of debunking. In short, prevention is pleasurable to cure.”

“Perhaps if you think of inflammation manipulation as a virus, instead of treating an infection once it has taken hold, that is debunking. It is much better to vaccinate so that the body is inoculated. Pre – bunking is the same approach.”

    Pure panic at the FBI.

As I exclusively reported yesterday, FBI director Kash Patel has fired several employees.

Hundreds of agents are being forced to transfer or resign.

FBI employees are arguing over whether their actions these last four years were legal, according to a source.

One employee arguing their actions were legal because they had court orders, while another employee reminding him they lied to the judges to obtain those court orders.

    Accountability underway.

I approve a new rule for law enforcement.

Once the bad guy fires a shot at a police officer or FBI agent then even if he then runs away with his back towards them then the law officer gets one free shot at the fleeing suspects ass.

Latest episode of FBI at the 25:00 mark is a great example. The bad guy got away.

Seen it happen on real police body cam videos. Failure to shoot fleeing bad person in the back.

    does this include cartel people?

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday floated the idea of replacing a visa program for foreign investors with a so-called “gold card” that could be bought for $5 million as a route to American citizenship.

Trump told reporters he will replace the “EB-5” immigrant investor visa program, which allows foreign investors of large sums of money that create or preserve U.S. jobs to become permanent residents, with a so-called “gold card.”

The EB-5 program grants “green cards” to foreigners promising to invest in U.S. businesses.

“We are going to be selling a gold card,” Trump said. “We are going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million,” he added.

How is Comey not in prison?

FBI Probes Alleged 2016 Comey Honeypot

The FBI is starting an investigation into the agency’s plan to infiltrate President Donald Trump’s first campaign using two female undercover agents as a honeypot.

According to The Washington Times’ initial reporting, the investigation was launched in 2015 by FBI Director James Comey and kept off the books. An FBI whistleblower broke the news of the inquiry to the House Judiciary Committee last year.

The plan was said to involve two undercover female agents who had infiltrated the Trump campaign at high-levels.

FBI Director Kash Patel and deputy Director Dan Bongino are now looking for those once-undercover agents.

Initially, the whistleblower noted that the honeypot was a separate operation from Crossfire Hurricane, and sought to uncover no specific crime but was merely a fishing expedition.

“The case had no predicated foundation, so Comey personally directed the investigation without creating an official case file in Sentinel or any other FBI system,” the whistleblower said, according to the disclosure. “The FBI has multiple methods of protecting highly sensitive investigations, so Comey did not have a legitimate reason not to officially create an official investigation file or have a file number.”

The operation was ostensibly shut down after a major newspaper obtained a photograph of one of the undercover agents and prepared to publish it. The FBI’s press office intervened, claiming that releasing the image would jeopardize a confidential FBI informant.

According to the whistleblower, this was a deliberate deception: it was not a undercover informant but indeed an FBI agent.

In the aftermath, one of the undercover agents was reportedly transferred to the CIA, effectively placing her beyond the reach of any potential inquiry. The other received a promotion and is now a high-ranking FBI executive in a major field office.

Additionally, the whistleblower described a culture of silence surrounding the operation as agents were directed never to discuss the matter.

Just watched latest episode of Chicago fire and it is going down the same shit holes all these type of shows do. Fire? no fire, nobody even lit a cigarette!

Thankfully Chicago med did not involve the psychiatrist for 70% of the show. Usually someone goes nuts, but still boring as they are ” developing ” characters and personal lives.

One I watch is Skymed, that is also a show where there is some action but, and I am not homophobic, there are 4-5 male characters that are gay and 3+ females.

OK I get it! Northern Canada is a strange place, but sick of watching two men eating each others faces.

    @ Aussie Infidel:
I should have been more specific.

I should have said “How do pilots gain experience on type?”

The young lady in question built up her hours by getting certified as an instructor in single engine planes, and not a Cessna 172 but5 some six seater plane, then built up hours that way.

Then when accepted by the airline did 12 weeks ground school on type CRJ-900 and sim training. And possibly several hours training on an empty real CRJ-900. There was once a documentary about British Airways flight school where they used a 737 and took it up to a remote Scottish airport with a handful of trainees and did touch and goes and circuits and landings then swapped out the trainee FO and off they went again.

I don’t think they practiced rejected take offs, them things are hard on the brakes. LOL

Anyway, there comes a point when the Right seat pilot of a commercial airliner has ZERO flight hours on type with fare paying passengers in the back.

You had ZERO hours of flight time on type with passengers the first time you strapped a 747 to your ass on a revenue flight.

I doubt the Captain announced on the PA.

Welcome to flight xxxx and I want you to give a big round of applause for First Officer Aussie Infidel. This is his very first time flying the Boeing 747-200 with humans in the back. Wish him, and all of us, the best of luck!

As promised numbers for February are in.

1st Feb starting weight 207.4lbs, end weight on 28th 205.2lbs. Average for month 206.0107142857lbs.

Average calorie intake for February is 2490.6785714286

Calories from food average 848.0357142857 per day.

Calories from wine and beer average 1642.6428571429 per day.

Looks like my Basic Metabolic rate is still about 2500 calories per day.

Now, in order to reduce my cuddly belly fat do I spend $1000 per month on Monjano or Ozempic so I reduce hunger and eat less food?

    Or quit drinking?

Data suggests, quit drinking alcoholic beverages and eat twice as much as I have been eating for months and I will lose weight!

    But I won’t be as much fun….

    @ Possum:
As a side note, Keto diet I did last year got me down from 226 to 198 in two months but it is difficult to maintain. No beer, no wine and a shit load of eggs and cheese and meat.

Going to do a modified Mediterranean diet, fish, chicken, salad stuff and fruit etc in March. It is warmer here in Houston. For the past two months too cold for salad!

Beer and wine have to go. Thems is the sneaky calorie intake that often goes un-noticed when trying to eat healthy. People calorie count their food only.

Goal is 198 by 31st March. By eating well and no wine or beer. I can do this!

Someone has some explaining to do:

  198. Possum
    203 | March 1, 2025 12:50 pm

So, I is good at math. one pound of fat is the equivalent to 3500 calories.

To go from 206 to 198 is 8 pounds. It kinds of gets complicated because fat cells in the body also contain water and if you reduce body fat you also reduce stored water in those cells. But going with numbers and ignoring all that.

To reduce fat in my body, 8 pounds of it, I have to burn 28,000 calories some how in the month. Roughly 1000 calories per day. As my BMR is about 2400 per day it means that if I try to get at 1500 or less calories per day I should hit 198lbs at the end of March.
As I was eating about 900 calories per day in January and February and eating nice meals then 1500 calories per day in food will be luxury!

    But no alcohol. 🙁 🙁 🙁

  199. Possum
    204 | March 1, 2025 1:19 pm

And finally before I go and spend the whole of March curled up in bed with a pillow over my head and suffering from alcohol withdrawal.

    A cooking tip.

Remember the blooming onion thing and slicing it using a cap from a jar?

That is the way I now slice all my onions. You end up with petal like pieces of onions. They are far superior to slicing an onion cross wise into rings or chunks. Doing that cuts across the cell structures and the juice escapes.

The lengthways slicing the onion preserves the cell structure and the slices remain plump and suggulent.

Perfect for Chinese stir fry and fajita making.

My gift to humanity, the only way to slice an onion is use the cap off a jar of pickled beetroot!

So, the new narrative is that DOGE has saved us 0$, because that money was for contracts and had already been spent. Of course what the people spreading this lie leave out is that the contracts are ongoing and renew automatically.

Also, Colorado’s governor and other pols in the state have declared their support and backing for Zelensky after the “horrible” way he was treated.

Do they not have eyes and ears? How freaking stupid do they have to be?

    206 | March 1, 2025 1:44 pm

    @ Possum:
I could post a picture proving my assertion that onions sliced length ways preserve the cell structure and remain intact when cooked.

Lunch is the last remnants of the fajita thing.

However, as nobody looks at the pictures and I cannot be bothered to separate out the onions, then rinse them and plate them to take a picture of them then just trust me.

Beetroot jar lid sliced onions are the best!

This Haltbakk Bunkers thing is nothing new. It’s just a continuation of the longstanding disdain Europe has had for the US since we declared our independence.

There’s a story – maybe apocryphal – about the American delegation to France. The French insisted that everything on the US continent shrank in size compared to its European counterpart. Jefferson told everybody to rise, the Americans on one side one side of the table, French on the other.

    @ Bunk Five Hawks X:
China has rare earth elements coming out of their ears.

The term ” rare earth elements” is actually a misnomer. They are abundant on the planet but where they are found they are in VERY low concentrations.

In the region of 60 to 0.52 parts per million. As in to get 0.52 tons of Lutetium used in PET scanners you have to dig up and process a million tons of rock.

The reason so many electronic goods come from China is they strictly control the export of Rare Earths, but will export the finished goods.

Now, if the USA could get its sticky paws on rare earths we could manufacture electronic devices here.

Rare earths are also abundant in the USA but it means digging really big holes and processing billions of tons of waste rock. Not acceptable to the environmentalists.

Gene Hackman’s mysterious death: Pacemaker recorded ‘last event’ on Feb. 17

New Mexico authorities have revealed actor Gene Hackman may have died nearly 10 days before his body was found.

The actor, his wife, pianist Betsy Arakawa, along with a dog, were found dead by neighborhood security officials, at their New Mexico home on Wednesday. Authorities are still investigating the cause, which at this point is still considered “suspicious.”

Hackman’s pacemaker revealed that “his last event was recorded on Feb. 17, 2025,” Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said during a press conference Friday. Mendoza said it was “a very good assumption” to conclude that was Hackman’s “last day of life,” more than a week before he was found.

He also said that tests ruled out carbon monoxide poisoning as a cause of death for the couple.

That started me thinking about my Dad’s mom, Mimi. They lived in a little village in SW PA called Millsboro. My grandfather and uncles were coal miners there.

That household never knew rationing. Mimi grew everything in her kitchen gardens and orchard trees. Beans, potatoes, greens, tomatoes apples, cherries, carrots, onions you name it. The only things she bought were flour and rice

My grandfather’s parents were farmers. They had cows, pigs sheep chickens. Sunday dinner at Mimi’s house was a feast. Roast pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy and butter, green beans, stuffing with sage, fresh bread and apple pie. And nobody was fat. Walking into her kitchen Sunday afternoon after church was another kind of heaven

In 1982 when British territory was attacked the Ukraine sent two aircraft carriers and 10,000 troops to support the UK forces.

Then go and fly the real thing exploring the complete flight envelop in an empty airplane with half a dozen ab initial would be Right Seaters plus a TYPE instructor Right to the edge of the envelop to ‘Coffin Corner’ at 43,000 feet and whatever else you can get out of it, buffeting the hell out of the airframe to down in the weeds and everything in between. Great fun and a B-747 and a HELL of a lot of fun in a B-737. Empty a B-737 can empty, out climb and OUT TURN and A-4 which drives ‘Knuckleheads ‘ crazy. We stall the hell out of these airplanes. A B-747 in a deep stall with and without both flap and gear, but just waffled down like a tame pussy. A B-737 is frisky and a pleasure to fly. Short Take offs and landings are keenly practices are B-737 spot landings from over the ‘Piano Keys from 1000 feet over the threshold to stopped. Nice weteronje has has a goodly work out the instructor gets to fly home to his farm and do some VERY low flying whilst watching his wife wave sheets at him form the verandah. Then you do 100 hours watching from the jump seat with a plane full of passengers plus another large handful of simulators. Then you get to operate from the Right seat after an experienced FO does the Take off and landing and you watch him like a hawk, with an instructor in the Left seat. THEN you get to do a Route Check and you get to practice on paying passengers just a little bit, but eventually you get to take off and most importantly a landing. After 6 months being critiqued and checked and simulated up the wazoo you are set loose on the unsuspecting passengers! Same routine for each separate type! THEN you get to do ‘Special checkouts after more Sims and not operation FO into dangerous fields like Wellington where you learn what a serious Crodd-wind really means and Queenstown where flying passengers in mountainous alps is a wee bit challenging and even more time to operate amongst high rise buildings approaching Kai Tak in Hong Kong where they actually pay you for legal low flying below city high rise and into fierce cross wind landings on what is a carrier landing onto a runway surrounded on three sides by water. I loved Kai Tak. Would have done it for free!

Democrat Governor of Maine Janet Mills’ brother pocketed $22 million into his shell company that was meant for towns in Maine

“A year before she took office, her brother Peter Mills, received $22 million through a shell company called Western Mountains and Rivers Corporation. This company also received 670 acres of land on the Dead River, all courtesy of a company called Central Maine Power.

When Janet Mills assumed office a year later, she immediately approved CMP to clear cut in 145 mile corridor through Western Maine without the endorsement of any of the localities affected, who were all in major disagreement with the decision.

And that $22 million that was supposed to be spent on the towns appears to have been pocketed by this shell company run by Peter Mills, rather than being spent on the people it was actually supposed to.”

“This is a clear example of political corruption in the state of Maine”

Maryland is one of several blue states that have basically passed laws that say whatever California implements, they automatically do as well. There’s supposed to be a complete phase out of gas powered vehicle sales in California by 2035. Existing ones won’t be banned as such, but you won’t be able to buy new ones.

Next time someone whines about the poor civil service employees who are being pushed out into the snow to starve, send them this:

Union Prez On Gov’t Payroll Was Banned From Federal Buildings For Sexual Misconduct, Sources Say

The president of a major federal employee union collected a taxpayer-funded paycheck from the Social Security Administration for 34 years without working a single hour for the Social Security Administration — and at one point he wouldn’t have been able to go to the office even if he wanted to, because he was banned for allegedly sending a picture of his penis to a female employee, a Daily Wire investigation found.

Witold Skwierczynski now collects a lifetime pension close to his annual salary. He served as president of the American Federation of Government Employees’ (AFGE) Council 220, representing 22,000 Social Security employees across the country, from 1984 through 2018, when he became president emeritus. That year, the Social Security Administration banned Skwierczynski from all of its facilities, according to documents obtained by The Daily Wire.

Skwierczynski was permitted to draw full-time pay from the Social Security Administration for decades without actually providing any service for beneficiaries thanks to a policy called “official time,” in which the government agrees to let employees do their anti-management advocacy during the workday, rather than using union dues to pay for organizers. Some are on 100% union time, meaning they are paid as Social Security Administration employees but never actually do any work for the agency.

Skwierczynski’s status as a poster boy for the policy raises questions about whether that’s money well spent. As a result of having “free” full-time union reps, federal unions wind up being aggressive in fighting discipline and new rules, even for frivolous actions members wouldn’t have bothered to spend union dues funding. Others may simply use it to draw a paycheck while doing little at all.

Unions are perhaps the most significant roadblock to President Donald Trump’s reforms to the federal workforce. Even after Skwierczynski became president emeritus in 2018, he has continued to play an important behind-the-scenes role as a power-broker in the union, which in November signed a five-year agreement with Joe Biden’s Social Security commissioner attempting to force the Trump administration to leave COVID-era telework rates in place.

One career manager told The Daily Wire that in 2018, “they got every manager in the country on [a call] and said, if you see this guy, don’t let him in your office, he’s banned.”

Another employee told The Daily Wire that he inquired why, and the agency official who oversaw labor relations told him it was because “Witold had sent a d*** pic to an employee in the office at like 2 a.m. one day, and so they told him, ‘We’re going to give you a termination notice unless you retire immediately’… he agreed he’d immediately retire and never come back to any SSA office.”

“This is a disgusting old man,” the employee, speaking on condition of anonymity because he did not have permission from the Social Security Administration, added.

That same year, Skwierczynski retired from government and decided not to run for re-election as union president.

https://www.bst-tsb.gc.ca/eng/enquetes-investigations/aviation/2025/a25o0021/a25o0021.html It is the page for the investigation on the upside down landing.

No report has been issued yet, be damned if I know why, all the chunks of the aircraft are available and so are the two black boxes. ( They are orange. )

Anyway one thing that I saw they added to the initial description of the incident is.

Once the aircraft came to rest, the occupants began to evacuate. The passengers and cabin crew evacuated out the right forward door and one of the two right emergency exit windows. The cockpit door was unusable, so the flight crew exited out of the emergency hatch in the cockpit ceiling.

Lucky the aircraft was not completely upside down and it did not catch fire.

    A food post.

Last week I got 4 Good Value personal supreme pizzas and 4 pepperoni pizzas.

To satisfy my occasional crust craving and as they are only $1.17 each then cheaper than getting a $30 pizza delivery.

Well, after the third attempt I got it correct texture and crust wise. They are microwavable in a 1100W oven. I do not have.

Latest attempt texture wise is let it thaw, a couple of minutes in a hot skillet until topping is warm. That is to brown the base crust.

Then green onions cut into slices and topped with 2oz cheddar.
Note, this was first try at the pepperoni ones.
Into the air fryer the 7 inch personal pizza with additions it goes.

20 mins at 250F to get the cheese melted, the onions cooking and the crust to bake more.

Then 5 mins at 400F in air fryer to bubble and toast the cheese!

    The result?

It is too fucking salty to eat. Ate half of it and Mr Trash gets the rest.

So, the other three $1.17 Pepperoni pizzas are going to be thrown away. A waste of electricity attempting to make them edible.

Natasha is still good at catching flying mice, but I think she either got all of them or they decided to do bat things somewhere else.

One thing that is better in the UK than the USA is no rabies. Slightest hint of any animal that is illegally imported or sneaks into the UK is killed, and anything it came into contact with is also killed.

I used to work in Italy, fly home on Friday, Fly back on Sunday night. To Milan.

Best flight to get on from London to Milan on a Sunday evening was Kenya Airways.

It was a late flight, about a 9pm ( 21:00 ) take off and on the way to Milan which was about 2 hours they served a full meal.

    Really good stuff!

When it landed in Milan ( Italy ) I was one of the few people that got off as more passengers bound for Kenya got on.

And yes, most of the passengers on the flights were not pink. And yes there was no violence and twerking.
