WOOOT! 2-0 last week. Big win for PITT at home! now: 23/29 $1800/$1000. 80% ROI…it was 90% with a low of 40%. If this were real money, i’d quit here too.

Started a brisket last night at 2000, its finishing in the oven and will be done around noon.

Let’s take a look at the games today.

#6 Michigan at #8 Michigan State 12:00 PM FOX: Are the Spartans legit? The battle for Michigan has M as a 4 point favorite. I think MSU can cover and it’s a party in Spartyland today!

Miami at #17 Pittsburgh 12:00 PM ACCN: YINZ SEE THIS???? My beloved Panthers are #17! They are 9 point favorites versus the criminal element from the U. Of course. if Miami were ranked this game would be on one of the networks, but, yet again, Miami was grossly overrated. 9 points? Pitt is coming off a YUGE win versus Clemson last week and won’t cover this week. I sure hope I’m wrong and Pitt blows out the criminal element.

#9 Iowa at Wisconsin 12:00 PM ESPN: Iowa is only a 3 point favorite??? The corn-fed Iowa Hawkeyes cover at Camp Randall.

#20 Penn State at #5 Ohio State 7:30 PM ABC: PSU’s quarterback is still injured but is staring. PSU is a 19.5 point dog. 19.5? yep, OSU covers while PSU continues to collapse.

2 weeks ago 3/4 now…21/27 $1600/$1000. 60% ROI…it was 90% with a low of 40%. No games were worth looking at last week and tornadoes….this week, not so many either, so let’s get to it:

Clemson at #23 Pittsburgh 3:30 PM ESPN: My beloved Panthers are 4 point dogs at home against an UN-RANKED Clemson Tigers. Pickett (QB, PITT) can very well be playing on Sunday when he is done in college. The kid is good. PITT covers at home.

USC at #13 Notre Dame 7:30 PM NBC: The Trojans stink. ND needs a big win here and are 7 point favorites. ND covers.

Slim pickings again this week.

No football bets today, none of the games are enticing me. I had to call off tonight as it appears that there was a tornado or a microburst and the area looks like a war zone, I lost many shingles, gutters, siding, sofit and fascia. Here are trees down in our very local area and damage to all the houses in a two block wide path.

The chainsaws are running, power crews are out, and I’ve gotta clean up. Mrs Coldwarrior and the children heard the tornado warnings and went into the basement. No one hurt, just a bunch of cleaning up to do…and bbq some ribs. Can’t clean up without bbq!

I’m in the middle of 5 days in a row…so lets make this quick:

#6 Oklahoma at #21 Texas 12:00 PM ABC…Texas is getting 3.5. Huh? OU covers.

#13 Arkansas at #17 Ole Miss 12:00 PM ESPN…Both teams lost last week. They had to play the best programs in the country. The Razorbacks are getting 5 and Ole Miss covers.

#4 Penn State at #3 Iowa 4:00 PM FOX…This is gonna be a great game, easily the game of the week. Winner is top dog in the Big 10. Iowa ia a 1.5 point dog at home, PSU Covers.

I’m too tired to do any more research. Night Yinz!
