The AL-Qaeda Iran alliance

The Progressives have invented the myth that AL-Qaeda and Iran hate each other. This is further from the truth. In fact since the early 90’s they have had a collaborative relation. When AL-Qaeda was based in the Sudan, their training camps were set up by Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Hizb’Allah. Members of the IRG fought alongside AQ against the Serbs in Bosnia. Hizb’Allah and Al-Qaeda did the Khobar Tower bombings together in 1996. When AL-Qaeda set up shop in Taliban controlled Afghanistan, Hizb’Allah leader Imad Mughniyeh trained AQ operatives in plane hijackings. In 1999 Iran and the Taliban almost had a war. It was Al-Qaeda’s #2 Ayman al-Zawahiri who squashed it and settled the differences. Therefore it amazes me that only recently are these links being exposed!

WASHINGTON (AFP) – A Congressional panel released a report Wednesday that alleges that Iran’s elite Al-Quds force offers support to Al-Qaeda, adding a new dimension to the militant threat to the United States.

In its report to the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus, the strategic advisory firm Kronos highlighted what it says are increasingly strong links between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps force and Al-Qaeda.

[….]

The ties date back to the 1990s when Al-Quds members worked with the Iranian-backed Hezbollah to train and equip bin Laden’s holy warriors. He cites the 9/11 Commission Report for operational linkages between the two.

“Since 9/11, these partnerships have become all the more pronounced. Hundreds of al-Qaeda members, along with family members of core al-Qaeda leaders like Osama bin Laden, have found refuge inside Iran,” he wrote.

In appealing for US policy makers to address the links, Smith warned that “if left unchecked, Iran’s relationship with Al-Qaeda could cost America and our allies dearly.”

Why do our elites deny this alliance? As someone who has followed Islamic Imperialism since the early 90’s, I knew this was going on. AL-Qaeda and Iran have the same enemies. It’s only fitting they would work together. Also, 12ther Shiites and Salafalists have an apocalyptic world view. They  both need to create war so the Mahdi (for Sunnis)/12th Imam (Shiites) can establish a Global Islamic sate. What better way than to pool their resources and create chaos together. It’s time this alliance becomes public knowledge.

The silence on the Iranian-Al Qaeda connection

The Progressive propaganda media has for years claimed that Iran and Al-Qaeda hate each other. No matter how much evidence has come out showing the links between the Revolutionary Guard and Al-Qaeda, the media claims its isolated help or an outright lie. They ignore the fact that Hizballah assisted Al-Qaeda in setting up training camps in Afghanistan in the 90’s, their collaboration in Bosnia and the combined terror attack on the Khobar towers. It doesn’t matter, the Progressives defend their beloved Ayatollah regime in spit of these facts. WikiLeaks exposed the fact that our government knows about these connections and does nothing about it.

On December 1, Undersecretary of State William Burns appeared before the House Foreign Affairs Committee to brief members of Congress on Iran. He touted the effectiveness of the latest round of sanctions and then listed some “wider actions of the Iranian leadership” that cause concern. He cited the regime’s “longstanding support for violent terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas; its opposition to Middle East peace; its repugnant rhetoric about Israel, the Holocaust, 9/11, and so much else; and its brutal repression of its own citizens.”

These are the offenses that American diplomats list perfunctorily before reiterating their eagerness to engage with that same Iranian leadership. Burns did not disappoint. He concluded by noting that “there is still time for diplomacy” and “still room for a renewed effort to break down mistrust, and begin a careful, phased process of building confidence between Iran and the international community.” And, lest anyone miss his obvious message, Burns said again: “The door is still open to serious negotiation, if Iran is prepared to walk through it.”

Ibrahim bin Laden is, according to U.S. intelligence officials, a rising star within al Qaeda. Nayef went on to explain that he and other Saudi officials have attempted to get the Iranians to turn over Ibrahim bin Laden and his al Qaeda cohorts. They have failed. Brennan, for his part, “agreed that Iran had the capacity to cause trouble, and assured the Prince that the [U.S. government] was very concerned and looking carefully at the situation.” The administration, however, wasn’t going to allow this revelation to get in the way of its pursuit of talks with the mullahs. “President Obama’s willingness to talk to the Iranians did not mean he did not understand the problem,” the cable says Brennan told Prince Nayef.

News of the cable is significant but unsurprising. For years, Iran has harbored senior al Qaeda terrorists such as Saif al-Adel, wanted for his role in the 1998 embassy bombings, as well as members of both Osama bin Laden’s and Ayman al-Zawahiri’s families. Iranian support for the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan is well-documented. Intelligence from as far back as 2004 has included detailed reporting on Iranian provision of arms and funding for insurgents there. Over the past several years, moreover, intelligence officials have provided policymakers with detailed reporting on another worrisome indication of Iranian support for America’s enemies: Iranian training of terrorists on Iranian soil.

Iran has gotten away with murder of Americans for too long. They should face consequences for their actions. Luckily for the Ayatollahs, they have support from the Tranzi Progressives and their allies in the media and our government. This gives Iran asymmetrical power and de facto support in this nation. This is an unacceptable situation, but one the Obama regime will do nothing about.

Revolutionary Guards consolidating power in Iran

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which backs Totalitarian-Islamists like Hizballah and Al-Qaeda is now beginning to call the shots in Iran. They were the ones who back Ahmadinejad and pursued the crackdown. They are a terror organization, yet the progressive regime of Obama wants to be friends with them.

The shadowy Revolutionary Guards already oversee a 130,000-strong parallel army and run large swatches of Iran’s economy, from dentist clinics to the country’s controversial nuclear program. But signs have emerged in recent weeks that the élite military arm isn’t satisfied: it may just want to run the entire Islamic republic.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), or Sepah for short in Farsi, is widely believed to have played a large role in orchestrating the crackdown on political dissidents and protesters following the disputed presidential election. Its political influence within the regime has always far exceeded the actual army’s, and it has increased exponentially since President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected to office in 2005. But the speculation among Iranian opposition sources is that, these days, the IRGC’s powerful patron — whose second term officially began last week — has now become its puppet, falling under the influence of a gang of security chiefs (the so-called New Right) that harbor schemes to further radicalize the regime or topple it in a military takeover.

Time magazine, which is part of the Progressive Media Machine, calls them Rightwingers. This is an example of a Leftists smear. In reality, the IRG and the Iranian Regime is Totalitarian Progressive in nature. Yes, they are Progressives in an Islamic context. They believe in an elite who are wise, ruling the ignorant masses. While the Progressive message is Transnationalism, the Iranian regime’s message is Islam. the result is both systems are about controlling the populace.

No wonder Progressives support the Iranian regime. Birds of a feather, flock together!
