Subject: Dr. Terry Jones – Freedom for Christians in America

Dear 1389,

We have discovered some alarming news this morning that should shake every Christian.

Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), in a column he wrote for the Huffington Post. Mr. Weinstein is an extreme left civil rights activist, author, and lawyer. He was appointed by President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, endorses the ultra-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and their hate list which is full of Evangelical Christian organizations, including our own.

Here is just one of the statements from his column, “Today, we face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

Weinstein says those guilty of this “treason” must be “punished.” Under federal law, the penalty for treason is death. And the Obama administration is sitting down to talk with this man to craft new policies for “religious tolerance” in our military.

Weinstein is a consultant to the Pentagon who is developing new policies on religious tolerance, including a policy for court-martialing military chaplains who share the Christian Gospel during spiritual counseling of American troops.

A Washington Post column endorses the Pentagon’s meeting with Weinstein while stating someone sharing the Christian gospel with another person is the same as someone being raped.

This is more of President Obama’s efforts to destroy Christianity in America as well as the First Amendment.

Christians must wake up from their apathy now.

It is a mistake to think “this cannot happen in America” or “Christians will never allow this”. We must not underestimate the power of the current Administration.

In December 2011, President Obama signed a bill legalizing sodomy and bestiality in the military.

May 2012, President Obama made his public statement supporting same-sex marriage.

Yesterday, only one year later, Rhode Island became the 10th state to legalize same-sex marriage.

His support for partial birth abortion, or the killing of babies born alive, his attack on the Second Amendment by pushing to ban certain guns and ammunition has made astronomical advances. This President has pushed his ungodly policies through at an unprecedented rate without rest.

If these policies of so-called religious tolerance are established in the U.S. military, rest assured they will certainly be introduced in state and federal legislation.

The apathetic condition of churches in America has produced an aggressiveness disrespect for our God and our nation which has overtaken our schools and government.

We are extremely concerned about Christianity in America. Under this Administration, how long will Christians be able to freely evangelize as God has called us to do? To have church services?

We cannot afford to pull back. We cannot be silent. We must unite, organize, and hit the streets.

Today, we will be publishing a statement concerning the urgent need for Christians to wake up and take a stand against President Obama’s consulting of Mikey Weinstein and the religious tolerance policies that the White House is developing.

We would like for you to consider publishing our statement which will address the necessity to stop these new policies, and stop President Obama’s attack on Christianity in America.

There is no doubt about it, President Obama is against God and ALL of those who stand for Him.

Thank you,
Stand Up America Now

Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (Ret.-USA), FRC’s Executive Vice President, appeared on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” to discuss a new military policy that calls for the court martial of any service member caught “proselytizing” and our petition to Secretary Hagel which has gathered almost 30,000 signatures.
