“Machine Gun Blues” by Social Distortion from the new album ‘Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes’. This video looks like the movie “Last Man Standing”…lotsa .45’s and Tommy Guns. This is atypical of Social D’s videos…by that I mean a lot of money was spent.

Social D is one of my favorite bands. They are from Orange County and hit the Punk Scene in the 1980’s. They have really polished their sound, and this video is high quality stuff. The first time i saw them was in PGH 25 or so years ago. They were operating on a shoestring, now ihear them on the radio and they are making some cash. These cats tour relentlessly, check em out.
I hesitate to use the term ‘Punk’ with these guys, I’ve seen them a few times, own everything they have done, and they aint Punk. They are good old fashioned Rock and Roll. So, give the guys a chance, maybe listen to a few of their tunes, enjoy.
