This is too funny! Hugo Chavez says Comrade Obama more Leftists than him and Castro!

Venezuela Chavez says “Comrade” Obama more left-wing

CARACAS (Reuters) – Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp.

Chavez knows what Obama is doing.  I bet he also knows the next step is Obama cracking down on the opposition like he did.

Marxism USA

Thexism, Barack Obama world is upside down when Pravda, the former voice of  communism in Russia is now shocked that America is going down a road they rejected!

American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

This is unbelievable. The Russians see what is going on here, but unfortunately most Americans don’t care, or are too blind to. Here are two examples of what is happening.

GM Files for Bankruptcy Protection

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy early Monday, marking the humbling of an American icon that once dominated the global car industry and setting up a high-stakes gamble for U.S. taxpayers. (See the Chapter 11 filing.)

Government run car companies, does the Trabant ring a bell?

Citigroup Stuck With Bernanke Offer Rival Banks Plan to Refuse

June 1 (Bloomberg) — When financial stocks slumped in February to the lowest level in at least 17 years, U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke told Congress the government might end up owning “substantial” stakes in the country’s biggest banks.

Three months later, New York-based Citigroup Inc. may be the only large bank that has to accept his offer.

Government run banks, car companies… and who knows what else is coming.  How ironic it is that only twenty years after the end of the Cold War, it is Russia and China who are now the capitalists while America and Europe are Marxist. The world is turned upside down.

National Sales Tax is coming

More taxes are on the way. The new idea floating around is a Value Added Tax (VAT) to pay for health care.

Once Considered Unthinkable, U.S. Sales Tax Gets Fresh Look

With budget deficits soaring and President Obama pushing a trillion-dollar-plus expansion of health coverage, some Washington policymakers are taking a fresh look at a money-making idea long considered politically taboo: a national sales tax.

Common around the world, including in Europe, such a tax — called a value-added tax, or VAT — has not been seriously considered in the United States. But advocates say few other options can generate the kind of money the nation will need to avert fiscal calamity.

At a White House conference earlier this year on the government’s budget problems, a roomful of tax experts pleaded with Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner to consider a VAT. A recent flurry of books and papers on the subject is attracting genuine, if furtive, interest in Congress. And last month, after wrestling with the White House over the massive deficits projected under Obama’s policies, the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee declared that a VAT should be part of the debate.

“There is a growing awareness of the need for fundamental tax reform,” Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) said in an interview. “I think a VAT and a high-end income tax have got to be on the table.”

This is a regressive tax and would hurt Middle and Working Class families. This combined with Cap and Trade would continue the deterioration of America’s standard of living. Outsourced jobs, Stagnant wages combined with a VAT plus with Cap and Trade on top would be a nightmare for the average American. It is sad to see a nation commit economic suicide. Globalization and Marxism have both failed, why continue down one or both of these paths.

Massachusetts Welfare Recipients Given Cars

This is unreal, but another example of the creeping Socialist/Marxist direction America is going in. In the Radical Neo-Marxist state of Massachusetts, Gov. Deval Patrick is giving cars to welfare recipients.

Free cars for poor fuel road rage

Gov. Deval Patrick’s free wheels for welfare recipients program is revving up despite the stalled economy, as the keys to donated cars loaded with state-funded insurance, repairs and even AAA membership are handed out to get them to work.

But the program – fueled by a funding boost despite the state’s fiscal crash – allows those who end up back on welfare to keep the cars anyway.

“It’s mind-boggling. You’ve got people out there saying, ‘I just lost my job. Hey, can I get a free car, too?’ ” said House Minority Leader Brad Jones (R-North Reading).

This just pisses me off. Why should the government give away cars to people collecting money from tax payers? This is wrong and setting a bad example. Why not provide everyone with HDTVs and Blu-Ray Players also? Why stop at cars, how about a free boat also? This is disturbing, but it seems the public wants this.
