You can take the Muslim out of scum, but you can’t take the scum out of the Muslim. This man’s son may have given his entire family a way out of the slums of India, but his father just couldn’t swallow his savage Muslim pride long enough to give the kid a break.
In a scene right out of the Oscar-winning movie, 10-year-old “Slumdog Millionaire” star Azharuddin Mohammed was beaten and kicked while cameras clicked.
Photos published in The Sun in London Friday show a man identified as the boy’s father, Ismail, physically punishing the child, after the child balked at being put on display, the paper said.
Another photo shows Mohammed with tears streaming down his face.
The boy’s mother tried to stop the beating, which lasted no more than 30 seconds, the paper reported.
